Horrible Company, Ms. Vida Brown in the Life Insurance Division is rude and will not share any contact information to escalate an issue they caused with billing with in AFLAC.
i filed a claim in may 11,2011 and i still havent got anything from them but a run around have hospital bills to pay and they tell me to call the hospital and tell them that i am waiting on a check from them . i told my rep that thats like going to the car dealer and buying a vette and i will pay you when i hit the lotto . so nowi have to take my whole pay check and pay the bills that the insurance we suppose to have wont do anything but give you the run around AFLAC WHAT A JOKE BUNCH OF CROOKS. i realy feel bad for the people that realy need it cause they dont have reg insurance and need it to pay there doc bills .
Aflac is the best! The family that started this company started it in 1955 to help people, not to be fraudulant, etc. With many thousands of independant agents working for Aflac, there are going to be people that don't do their job right, as in any company. Aflac is the most ethical company....so keep up the good work!
My husband and I signed up for your services after speaking to your representative David Marks. Later on when we tried to make a claim based on what your representative told us we were able to, we were told that we couldn't and come to find out he bold face lied to us. He told us what ever he had to just to sell us your service. Here recently I was hospitalize for nearly a week, and what do you know, we were supposed to have hospital protection, but your agent did NOT sign us up for it. We told him we wanted it and he said we were covered even went over our coverage, he told us if we were hospitalized we would get x amount of money for each day and if we had to drive x amount of mile we would be reimbursed for miles. Now I am being railroad. I can't believe your company has done this to us. I am so angry about losing this money that was supposed to receive. This man has riped us off and he still works for you. I now see from other people posting on here that you have been shady with them also.

Dear President of Aflac, I have been a customer with AFLAC, since September 2009. I have family members, who have been with Aflac, for over 14 years. So when I selected AFLAC as a carrier, it was because AFLAC was a name, that was known to me, by my family. I submitted a second claim on 2/3/2010, which I had to do all the leg work, not the agent. My first claim back in 11/2009 was misrepresented by agent, Tracy Anderson. I believe I am a victim of fraud by my agent. I suspect fraudulent activity regarding my first claim. My second claim was handled improperly by Aflac's claim department, because Aflac based everything on the dates on the first claim. I believe my second claim, which was performed by myself was not even looked at, by the claims department. The first claim was completed by my agent Tracy Anderson, who I put all my faith into, because I was very ill and thought she really wanted to help, since I couldn't wright or read well at the time. She faxed my first claim without me even looking at the actual claim. She sent a blank claim form to me asking for my signature only. My correct diagnosis is Chiari 1 Malformation. On 2/4/10 I had a five hour decompression surgery. On 2/12/10, I had a blood clot in my brain which prompted another surgery. On 2/22/10, I had a shunt placement in my head, neck and stomach for help with the CSF flow. As of today, the only symptom that came back was my handwriting, however, two new symptoms came up, which were triple vision with black floaters, instead of double vision with black floaters and my hearing now has a buzzing sound at the end of the tone, such as a broken speaker phone. I'm still unable to keep my balance, I use a walker, wheelchair and right leg brace. I'm unable to focus or concentrate, it took me 6 hours to complete this document. The sensation in my hands, arms, face, thighs, legs and feet are still a vibration feeling and numbness and tingling still comes and goes, especially in my feet. I can't feel 80% of my head, which means 80% of my head is numb. I can't feel water hit my head when I'm washing my hair, which is devastating. I have extremely dry skin. My skin became sensitive perfumes, body wash, etc. I can only use ivory soap and eucerin lotion. My entire back has arthritis like a 70yr old football player. I can barely bend without being in extreme pain. I have problems with gastro. reflex. I get severe migraines and headache throughout the day on a regular basis. I can't lay flat, because of pressure building in my brain. I have severe eye pain, like my eyeballs are about to pop out. I have to eye drops in my eyes for moisture. My right side of my entire body is severely weak to the point of no movement, which is why I don't drive a car. I can only hold, as much as a soda can with soda. I can't take a bath by myself without help. I cannot put the brace on with out help, because it feels so heavy because of my weakness. I'm currently seeing a skilled nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist. I was seeing a aide. Before my surgery I was seeing a skilled nurse and aide. I'm a single mother with 3 small kids. I'm unable to cook dinner and help with their homework. I'm always stressed out to the maximum. I'm on about 24 prescription pills. As I mentioned before, I suspect fraudulent activity regarding my claim. Please pass this complaint to the President of Aflac. Thank You.
I have been an customer with AFLAC since 2002 and again 2006. I have enjoyed this company for a many years. Howerver, here lately I have experienced NOTHING but GRIEF in knowing that a Company whom I have utilized their services over the years have now been NEGILIENT in the duties which was promised to me. I am still waiting a claim since March 18, 2010 and still NO SOLID ANSWER. It would be helpful if ANYONE within AFLAC calls or send me some literature regarding this claim. And of course, I have another claim to submit or really should I? I am on the verge of cancelling out my subscription as this company is obviously losing it's ability to STAND on the promises and DELIVER what is right. Yes, I have had claims processed without any problem and even upon review this claim is NO DIFFERENT.
That's going to make things a lot easeir from here on out.
