I have to say Im very disappointed that weight watchers would pay 3 million to jessica simpson to be new spokeperson. This is a woman that earns multi billion a year, that spent 1 million to have her labour in privacy. Come on..what about us regular people? If I may give a suggestion, offer someone not celebreties the chance to earn 250,000.00 that would be 12 people eqivelent to 3 million you offer someone else. What a chance in a lifetime to earn that opportunity for weight loss. Your company benefits, that person achieves a chance to make more money, than it would take how many years to earn that, and not to mention most important, your health, new way of life. I personally would be so honored as I hurt my ankle almost 2 mths ago, not collecting any premiums at the moment, but instead putting weight on. I personally couldnt afford to join your company at this time as I barely can cover my necessities. But please consider someone that needs this, they are not rich, much deserving and willing to go the distance for a new lifestyle change..one to good health.

Why do the stars that can afford to pay for Weight Watchers get paid to represent the co pang, but those of us who can't afford have to hear and watch about it non stop!

Jennifer Hudson is a beautiful girl, I will not take anything away from her - but I am tired on seeing her face on the commercials! ENOUGH is ENOUGH! She can't be the only success story! PLEASE, do better research and find others who are not glamour queens because let's be honest, people in the real world such as myself would assume that actresses would receive personal training sessions to go along with the product to achieve such perfection. Let me make a suggestion -- the interest will increase if the company uses different ordinary people & faces to sell your product & services.It would be better if the company toured America, visit locations, interview people on the street, interview past participants of the program, interview present participants of the program in order to ensure that you'd gain future participants of the program. People like myself, will not try weight watchers because all you show me are celebrities who need the a job -- and I feel you are not general concern for my healthcare issues. I am sorry for being so blunt but it is what it is.

Way to go Brenda! There is a reason why this lecturer was fired. It's very hard to be fired from Weight Watchers.

I'm a culinary arts and bake teacher at Oxford High School in Connecticut. I also teach a Food For Fitness and health class as well. I began weighing myself in front of my class last April, and joined Weight Watchers this past June. I have lost 65 pounds so far. I have integrated Weight Watchers into my lesson plan. Please see the attached article in The Republican American Newspaper, and on click on the oxfordpatch website for further coverage of my weight loss journey. http://oxford-ct.patch.com/articles/teacher-at-oxford-high-leads-by-example-in-healthy-nutrition-class-video BY QUANNAH LEONARD REPUBLICAN-AMERICAN OXFORD — Randy Colin initially did not want to teach a Food for Fitness and Health course at Oxford High. But it has turned into a gift for her and her students. Every Friday, for nearly a semester, Colin, the school’s culinary arts and baking instructor, steps onto a scale to weigh herself in front of her class, a mix of freshmen through seniors. She does it to stick to her weight-loss goal, and to show her students a healthy way to eat and live their lives. “The class I really feared teaching, it really ended up being a gift,” Colin said. Her supervisor, Gregory Champagne, department chairman of applied technology, assigned her to teach the course. She had no option, but she said he told her that he had no doubt she would succeed. She told her first class that she didn’t want to teach this course because she was “fat.” The students couldn’t believe she used that word, Colin said Friday. She wanted to get that part out of way, and told them that they will learn together, and hopefully, her health, along with theirs, would improve. She started to tweak the foods she ate and began weighing herself in class last April. In June, she joined Weight Watchers. As of Friday, she was just shy of losing 65 pounds. Her recommended goal weight under the program is 138. Shortly after 10:30 a.m., Colin stepped onto the gray scale at the front of the class. Senior Tiffany Nieves, 17, wrote Colin’s weight on the board from last week, 283.6. On Friday, she weighed in at 281.8, a loss of 1.8 pounds. The class clapped. She lost that amount, she said, despite a challenging week. She had a two-day migraine and didn’t exercise as much as she usually does. She also had no time to prepare her meals. The weigh-in segued into a unit on protein, which builds, maintains and replaces tissues in a person’s body. It ended with students’ written reflections. Colin said she has learned that for her to be successful, she must be organized and plan her meals. She provided some examples of quick protein snacks such as a bag of mixed nuts with dried fruit, or peanut butter and apple slices. She teaches healthy recipes from Rocco DiSpirito’s “Now Eat This.” The recipes turn high-fat meals into lower-fat treats. She said she doesn’t tell students what to eat or what to shop for, and is only giving them information. Colin gains inspiration to stay focused from her 9-year-old son, Jacob. With her progress, she said she now can walk with her son without becoming short of breath, or play a game of hockey with him. Her son is so proud, she said. Colin calls her students her “cheerleaders.” Students say Colin has inspired them to make changes in their lives. Brennen Diaz, 17, a junior, said Colin is teaching them something they can carry throughout their lives. He said that she is doing this for her son is a bonus. “If I were in his shoes, I would be very proud of her, too,” Diaz said. Champagne said Colin’s class has been embraced by students, and she has become a role model for staff. “I think that she’s put a whole new spin on this class,” Champagne said.

I think its sad that you are willing to pay actors 30k per pound and there are really desperate people out there with real weight problems that cant afford your program (me for one)but im sure i am not alone why wouldnt you offer regular people something like you offer the actors but on a much smaller scale if you can afford to pay 30k per pound to Valerie Bertinelli you could afford 100.00 per pound for the little people!

Weight watchers is a great program. I have been going for many years. I like the program bc anyone can do it. You don't need a chef and a trainer - WW gives you all the tools you need. That is why I find the recent celebrity spokespersons for WW very disappointing (Hudson, NBA guy and soon Jessica Simpson for MILLIONS of dollars). Of course they can lose the weight - they have every resource in the world available to them to help out. I will be canceling my WW membership bc I do not want my $40 per month paying Jessica Simpson to stay on points. I really enjoy the stories of average WW clients and would much rather see them in the commercials.

You should consider having Taylor Morrison as your new female to show how she can drop weight. Shes gained alot of weight and so wants to lose it but as most we all gain and lose. She would be perfect. Shes cute. You may know of her family members ie: Jim Morrison of the Doors. Would love for you to consider Taylor. Her email is : mstaylormorrison@yahoo.com

I really like and appreciate your article post.Really looking forward to read more. Much obliged.

I sure hope this is a rumor. Heard on TV today that Weight Watchers has offered Jessica Simpson 3 million dollars to represent WW.. This is unbelieveable. First she just delivered a baby and is NOT married. Some example she is setting young girls and woman. I hope you reconsider the offer if this is true. I was considering joining WW, but will not if that's the only way you can find to spend your money. How about reducing your rates and etc......

I am BEGGING you to consider me as your next spokes model for WW. I am a 44 year old married mother of two. I work and go to school earning my second degree. I am A REAL WIFE and MOM, with REAL issues about weight and can't afford a personal trainer. I will PROMISE you that I will lose the weight and give customers a normal person to watch take the weight off!!! People will relate to my bad back, knee surgeries, no money, no time, but I will make enough time and with your easy meals, easy preparations for on the go people, and online support - I will make it work. The average JOE! Please consider me as a spokes model. My husband is even a profession photographer and CGI specialist. He can do all the photo's for free. We can do a lapse time photograph from current to SKINNY! If not you, I will approach other healthy weight loss plans. ;) Thank you. 330-461-6288 Kristine

Have lost a lot of weight and one of my main foods, or should I say my EVERYDAY HELPER is having weight watchers key lime pie at 190 calories... and when I went to the store they were out of it, so I drove to 7 others in the neighborhood and no one had it. After waiting a week and popping in, as I was told one store was getting them in, they finally arrived. It was the 4 cups... OK.. that's better 150 calories I can deal. I bought 4 packages. After putting it in the microwave, it was ice... after I waited it was gooo.... and so I tried for all 4 packages. IT'S NOT THE SAME.. OMG.. ITS NOT THE SAME. I'm so upset that they changed it. I loved it because it was tart and I have gone away from the taste of sweet after losing 80 pounds and dont want brownie sundae or any of the other ice cream desserts, I wanted my key lime pie because it was like velvet mouse... and I can't believe it's an ice now... I'm thoroughly disgusted and I dont know who to contact. Does anyone know how I can make a complaint so that someone will read it at WW? I cannot believe after all the checking I've done... there's NO WAY to reach anyone at corporate. Just sucks. I'm a fan of their frozen foods, just angry they had to mess with one of my favorite daily staples.

Weight Watchers is an excellent program. Focusing on the advantages they provide and the ability to meet with others that are on the same journey is wonderful. I agree that if the place you are meeting at, does not seem to be conducive to your success, by all means, feel free to change locations. Sometimes actions seem unreasonable and unfair to us, but what I have learned in life, is that there is always two sides of a story. There is so much negative energy wasted in finding fault with everything, that we miss the opportunity to grow through this experiences, and use them to our advantage. For some reason we are overweight. Learning how to dealing with life stressors, changes, negative situations, etc., will be more many of us, a key into our weight loss. There is not weight loss program that will ever meet every need or be 100% successful. They provide the tools to help us, but there are so many variables, such as menopause for me! LOL In short, I encourage you to keep on focusing on the important issue which is you. How you can attain your goals. The lesson I have learned is that when I am diligent and are honest with myself, I see results. Sometimes my body goes on strike, but I don't think it is all loss or throw in the towel. I just have to explore another technique or avenue to get it going again! Weight watchers, thank you for helping me and many others! :O}

I AM SO FRUSTRATED AT THOSE JENNIFER HUDSON COMMERCIALS: PLEASE!!!!! "I AM YOU, YOU ARE ME" WHAT IN THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN????? ALSO, I HATE THE WAY WW ALLOWS HER TO TALK IN HER LINGO, IM SICK OF HEARING "WEIGHT WATCHA'S". IT IS NOT PRONOUNCED WATCHA/S IT IS PRONOUNCED WATCHERS ERS ERS ERS PEOPLE NOT CHA'S CHA'S. WHEN YOUR COMMERCIALS COME ON WHERE SHE IS FEATURED I CHANGE THE CHANNEL, ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE I KNOW DO THE SAME THING.

Let me begin by saying that I am a registered nurse, and have recommended Weight Watchers many times to friends and acquaintances as my program of choice for healthy weight loss. This past year one of the best leaders in the Toledo area was forced to leave. Her meetings consistently drew large numbers of members, probably between 30 - 40. She was replaced with the most boring, incompetent leader I have ever experienced. Many of us have called corporate, sent letters, and e-mails. No reply, even though we were assured repeatedly that corporate received copies of our comments, and the local manager would personally address our concerns. The meetings all over the city lead by this person now have an attendance of 8 - 10 members. In my opinion the district manager should answer for this. Is Weight Watcher's so aloof that paying members opinions do not matter? This is a horrible shame for such a revered organization.

WW works, if you work it. We love our Rocky River, OH leader Noreen!! What we hate is the fact that meeting centers are now called "stores", as if it's more important to sell the product than to encourage and educate each other to lose wt. And our new facility is AWFUL!! It's way too loud in the weigh in section, with nothing but a partition seperating it from the meeting. No one can hear the leader or other members sharing. WE HATE IT!!! "Corporate" will be getting a personal letter from me!

Saturday 2/4/2012 went in @ 8:00 a.m to get weighed in it took 50 minutes. They are so unorganized. The are "traning" and all it does it make everybody upset. ladies were getting up set because of the time they had to wait. 50 minutes to get weighed really!!! were not charging correctly. Plus to my mistake I gave enough $$ for 5 weeks (Cash) and until monday I noticed they did not give me my pre-paid I have tried to call no answer. I never stay for the meetings they are horrible. I am doing WW on my own and on line the meetings (West) are a waist ------ I go get weighed and I am not the only one. Back to the front part of the office. They were taking people out of sequense. Individuals who had just came in were getting weighed before me. Hey I paid also..... not to mentioned I am out of $$ because they did not give me the pre-paid. They had all the $$$ just lying on the counter. So So So unorgainzed!!!!!

HI Everyone...I had been a member of WW many years ago...when you weighed everything you ate and counted your fruit...I lost weight...well....I quit smoking 16 months ago...I gained about 13 pounds because of that...I am 5'4" and I weighed in at 137 lbs on January 9, 2012....OK...they told me I get 29 points every day...OK...I am looking the in the book...counting everything...writing down everything I put in my mouth. I lost 1 pound my first week...BUT I was NOT eating all of my 29 points per day...OK...so here goes another week...again...I write down everything and look up everything...again...still not eating all 29 points per day...1 lost 2 lbs...everyone keeps saying but you HAVE TO EAT all of your points every day for it to work....OK...so...the 3rd week I am eating ALL 29 points every day and GUESS WHAT I GAINED 1.4 lbs. WHY ?!? BECAUSE THEY MIS-CALCULATED AND I WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO EAT 26 POINTS PER DAY !!!!! SOOOOOO is that MY fault?!? I wasted 3 weeks, now I am thoroughly depressed and mad....WOW here I am doing everything "by the book - counting - writing stuff down" and I GAINED because their staff made a mistake???? OK....so give me 3 WEEKS FREE !!!! Chesterfield, MI

To say Jennifer hudson has had some kind of surgery is crap. She's been losing weigt for a few years and finally revealed her total loss as a spokesperson for ww. Just because someone has had a baby doesnt automatically mean a tummy tuck. My mother has had 5 and her stomach is flat has no marks. I personally went from 230 to 136 through diet and exercise so to say that it can't happen is a load of crap!
