To whom it may concern. My wife and I ate at the Village Inn in Parker Colorado on 8/31/2011. When we got home we noticed at the bottom of the bill there was a $66.00 dollar tip added on. We called and was told it was a mistake and we would get the correct bill sent to us by e-mail. That never happened and my wife drove back there and they handed her the bill of $17.36 and said that was the correct bill that would be charged to our credit card. This afernoon she called the credit card holder and found out that they had processed the bill of $ 86.36. Hopefully the credit card holde will help us. Thats the last time we eat at any Village Inn.

Village Inn Las Cruces NM The absolute worst Village Inn in the United States. Stay Away.

Our server was awful and we sat without drink for along time. And the manager was rude. She made comments towards our friends. I was extremely disatisfied with everything except the cook he was nice and very efficient. I want my money back.

I'm 81 years young; fought my wars withn our military; raised my sons quite successfully; bought my homes; paid my mortgages; paid my taxes; supported my community; and published my books on social issues. I am a "Sir" and not a "guy" or "dude" or other appellations reserved for the young. Your male servers can't bring it on themselves to utter the word "Sir" when waiting on senior patrons ~ particularly in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and particularly on 71st St., near Memorial. When I asked for a female server, the manager replied, "I'll put on a skirt and serve you." I spent a great deal of dollars at VI for myself and family. No more. In fact, no more at any restaurant, anywhere (except traveling). I'll be damned if I'm going to pay to be dis'd. No more "Hi, Guys!" for me. Teach your servers some manners.

Last night, July 6, 2011 we visited our local Village Inn on 12th Steet in Ogden Utah for dinner. We have been regular customers over the years. My wife and mother in law along with myself were seated in the booth, with menus. We waited for 15 minutes and no waitress appeared with water or to take our order. Several of them walked by our booth and looked at us, but no service. We finally left the Village Inn and went to Denny's. The Village Inn was not very busy, and the help seemed intent on conversing with people at tables rather than waiting on new customers. It was our worst experience at any Village Inn. I used to work at village inn as a host. I quit about six months ago because there was a server that I worked with that was constantly sexually harassing me. I enjoyed working there and I had no backup job when I was forced to quit. After the first few times the server harassed me I brought it up with my manager. Instead of something being done about the problem I found that my hours were suddenly cut. I used to work five days a week. After I complained I found myself working two nights a week. I was not the only person the server was harassing. She was doing it to other employs and customers too.

Dear Sirs, I am a bit puzzled as to the reasoning behind Corporate's decision to discontinue "baked potatoes" on the menu? I realize they become very untasty if allowed to sit under a heat lamp for long periods, but a MICROWAVE OVEN can make a FRESH baked potato for each order in just a matter of minutes (A very large potato only takes 7 min. 30sec.......I do it all the time at home)! MANY people that come to your restaurant don't like FRIED foods, as onion rings or french fries, or may even be diabetic and CAN'T eat those things, so WHAT CHOICE DO THEY HAVE????? PLEASE reconsider this decision and bring the "baked potato" back!!!! I eat at Village Inn SEVERAL times a month, and would really appreciate you considering my request. Sincerely, Dianne Trahan

My wife and I dine at Village In Tulsa, Ok. on west 49th St. We were confused about a waitress called Tandi. We dined on Sept 22,2010 and we wonder why you would employ an individual such as her. We were sat where we could see the area where the servers prepare trays to go out to customers. She slammed several glass doors. She was slamming trays on counter tops and yelling at the other servers. Why would you tolerate such inmature unprofessional and gross behavior? We went back only to see she was still there working and still behaving like an ingrade. I would fire that problem employee immediately. We will never dine there again ever. We truly feel like the other servers should file a law suit against Village Inn for putting them in that kind of enviroment. I hope they do. Whoever allows such a person like her to work in the public should be fired for being such an idiot. She is a disgrace. Your ignorant for hiring her hope you get sued. Lost us forever and word of mouth goes far.

I would like to praise Angie, server at the Village Inn on Fort Crook Road, Bellevue, Nebraska. I have eaten in that Village Inn an average of two times per week for over 20 years. I have always experienced good food and good service. Angie's service has been above and beyond expectations. She is always friendly, courteous, and quick to serve with me and all of the tables around me. A top performer, and I thought it time to tell someone. So, someone, there you have it. Thanks to Angie and all of the staff of Village Inn, Phil

I don't even know where to begin. I live about 5 blocks from the Village Inn at 29th and O Street in Lincoln Nebraska and I think it is very safe to say we order from there for takeout or eat in between 4-5 times a month and I think that is low. I did secret shopper on several stores here in Lincoln and I am telling you now that the store at 29th & O needs help!!!! Today I called in an order for pick up and I could tell from the person on the phone that he didn't get the order right (and he is a manager) so when I got to the store to pick it up I checked it and sure enough it was wrong. I told him what I wanted and had to stand there and wait while the other food was getting cold. I wasn't happy at that point but said nothing. I got home and told my son and he said that is normal most of the orders we get to carry out are messed up in some way shape or form. I order Christmas pies from that store and they were messed up. I never get powdered sugar on my French toast and there are several other things that I just can't think of right now. VI has spent a lot of money redoing the stores here, but they need to do something about the service. When I called this morning, the phone rang and rang and rang before anyone ever picked it up. The waitresses are great, friendly and very good at what they do. I don't know if it is the management or the cooking staff or a lot of both, but that store sure does need help. I go to the one on 27th and Cornhusker also and they don't have those problems. Our whole family went in the just last month and that was about 25 people and we had no problems, I would have hated to think what would have happened if we would have gone to the one on 29th & O, (they were redoing it at the time) I know I am only one customer, but if they do these things to me as often as I go in there what do they do to the other customers. They did make my son a new meal, but I had to get back in the car and go back down and pick it up again while my food was getting cold after having to heat it up after the first time of getting cold. My son ordered a Chicken fried skillet breakfast (same thing he orders most every time we do the breakfast) I told the guy on the phone I wanted white toast and he said do you want to cancel the pancakes I said no I want toast. He said it doesn't come with toast when I told him we order this several times a month he got an attitude and said I'll just throw the toast in. Then he want the little cubed potatoes because the hash browns get nasty when sitting in the gravy. I tried to get him straight on the phone but when I got there it was pancakes and hash browns then when I got home my son started to eat it and there was only a half of a steak on the bottom covered with potatoes and gravy Like I said I did secret shopper for your stores before and I never had a very good report for this store and this was just about the worse I can think of happening. I was not very nice when I went back the last time. I told the manager (his name is Nick) that this would be the last order they ever got from me and I would contact you. So you have a very unhappy customer in myself and son and the lobby was full when I told them that I was going to get in touch with you. I don't feel any better now but I think it is something you need to look at very hard. This is by far the worse store in Lincoln Nebraska

My wife and myself used to enjoy eating at the Village Inn in Land O' Lakes Florida three to four times a week. My favorite breakfast was the southern breakfast priced at $3.99. Since that breakfast has been discontinued and I refuse to pay $6.79 for the same food I will no longer eat at Village Inn. I do know a little about food cost's and don't believe you can justify the $2.80 increase in the exact meal. The wife and I will gladly become Village Inn customers again when corporate stops screwing with prices. L. D. Eary
