Perfect

After spending my 4th traveling to Denver I visited your 225 Mississippi location in Aurora. I was delighted to find that the staff was in good spirits and provided me with excellent service dispute it being a holiday. Not only was the service great I received my Order promptly. It is an increasingly rare to see a manager on the floor who is able to facilitate an environment that is conducive to both efficiency and seemingly happy staff. Seems as though the staff of this particular location are very motivated and always in high spirits. A very well run establishment Thank you Sanjay

moldy cheese

I went in for breakfast the way I have before, on July 4, and ordered an omlette. Compared to previous times, this time it tasted different. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it didn't taste fresh like previous ones did. That's when I noticed there was MOLD IN THE CHEESE! I called my server over and showed him the mold. He insisted it was not mold. When I asked him what it was, he didn't have an answer. Less than an hour after getting home, I get sick. In order to reduce my chances of getting sick again, I will take my business elsewhere. It is a sad and pathetic situation when you show the mold inside the cheese omlette and nobody who works there gives a damn about anything but making money! If all your business cares about is making money at others' expense like this, I will go elsewhere. I do not rcommend this restraunt to anyone unless they are willing to get sick from spoiled/rotting food.

Worst Ever

After being seated the wait was 35 minutes, then we got our drinks, food came about 20 minutes later. Our forks were caked with dirty food, and there was hair fried into my eggs. We waited patiently by the front counter to let Rick Carter the GM know and he just said ok see ya....WHO does that??? We will never return to another VI again and I am taking this further. Army Post Rd, Des Moines, IA location

disgusting

Your Grand Junction, co Village Inn on horizon drive has been appalling lately. I normally eat there. Your staff is always friendly but recently there have been sick puking cooks in the back. THIS IS NOT OK. I DO NOT WANT TO EAT FOOD FROM SOMEONE WHO IS PUKING. You guys need to do something about this. I will no longer be eating there and neither will any of my friends or family. That is absolutely disgusting. The fact that is has happened MULTIPLE TIMES has the view your company thinks its an ok policy to keep sick staff cooking your customers food. I doubt you want that image.

unhappy

Village inn in colorado springs harrison rd is the worst place. Well let me take that back. Their GM is the worst Gm I come in four times a week and the big guy does nothing for his crew. All I hear is him cussing and yelling at his employees. I've noticed that the employees work their tail off and he's doing NOTHING!!!! The food is great and employees are the best its, just GM makes them work so hard and he is so careless. New GM there for sure.

Great service with manager

I visite 2 of your locations in denver and i wanted to say that the manager at the colorado blvd and i25 location is wonderful. I have They keep us coming back!!!

Very Very Un-Happy

This store does not deserve even a 1 star. I would have been better off running the whole store my self. I would have done a better job and had better customer service as a one person show than they did with 8 employees. I would not recommend the Village Inn on 1331 Zaragosa El Paso, TX to my worst enemy. I took my family their tonight for the first time. Once seated we waited about 5 minutes for our server to take our drink order. About 15 minutes later he brought us our drinks and then about 10 minutes later he finally came to take our order. After bringing us our food the server never once came to our table again. We had to get a refill from another server. When we were finished eating we waited about 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us so we could order our pies. It took 10 more minutes before we get our pies. Still have not seen our server again. After eating our pies we waited over 30 minutes for our check. The manager was at another table the whole time talking and all the other associates were no where to be seen. Finally after the 30 minutes my husband was able to get the attention of an associate to let them know what was going on. The manager came over and asked what the problem was and he explained everything to her. She treated us like we were trash and that we were lying. We had to pay the entire check when we feel that we should have got a partial discount for what has happened. If we did not have children with us who were very hungry we would have got up and just walked out, but it is not an easy thing to do when you have three very young children. We ended up spending $49 on service that was far below satisfactory. We were in the restaurant for over 2.5 hours and had crying children. The manager did nothing. All I can say is that we will never ever eat there again and I can doubt that we will ever eat at any Village Inn again because of this bad experience. I will also say that word of mouth goes far. We are a military family and will be sharing with others this experience. I have never had to write a bad review about anything in my life and if the manager was more willing to work with us on this issues then I would not be writing this one. I will be calling corporate everyday until I can reach a live person to let them know what happened.

DERBY KS

The village inn in derby ks is an amazing experience and my personal favorite place to eat every Saturday. I'm contacting you because I eat here every Saturday for the past 4 years and just wanted to tell you from a customers point of view that the village inn inn in derby ks has and always done an amazing job with customer service to making the perfect meal Thanks Michael Carselowey

Village Inn at 40th st. and Bell in phoenix, we eat there at least 3 or 4 times a week, food is very good, priced right, and the sevice is allways good, please keep up the good thing you are doing, we love Village Inn. Bud &Hugo.

I am so dissapointed with our local VI in Apache Junction AZ. First of all the service was slot to be desired took forever to even take our drink order much less our order. I ordered the new Pita bread w. turkey and choice of salad for for $8.79 I ordered the nsoutheest salad with this for the 2nd choice. I had tried one day before yesterday and it ws delicious. My granddaugher ordered the childrens Chicken dunkers w/ fries (FYI children eat free through the month of September) and my mother ordered chicken noodle soap large bow. It took 35 minuted to even get our ordr sfter we ordered and when it came I got a chicken sandwich on toasted cheese bread with no avacado or bacon the salad was in a small soup bowl with not the ingrediants that is on the menu for the salad and the greens for the slsd were hot like it had been sitting under a hot light. I told the waitress Kaytea this is noot what I had ordered. She apoligized and asked if I wanted her to have them re-make it. I told her no, because it had already taken to long and I was not hungry at that point and I wished to talk to manager. Some lady cme over and told me she was the manager and what was the problem, I told her how I felt about the food not being what I ordered and the salad bring hot. She rolled her eyes at me and I asked her if that is anyy to respond to a customer complaint. She was embarressed once I confronted her and said she was sorry and I asked what was she sorry for that I called her on her attitude or that I have sense enough to know she was insulting me and disrepecting me??? My mother and grand daughter has finished there food by then, and THEN the bigger surprise happened. I was being charged for my grand daughters for $3.89. I told the manager why would she charge me for the childs food when it clearly states on your poster outside the building for the month of September children under a certain age eats free. She told mr that children eat free with a entree, I REMINDED her I had ordered and entree and they messed it up. She stated well you haqve to purchase an entree to get meal free. For the price I paifd for a boel of soup, childs chicken dunkers, and 2 teas I could of went to Applebees and had a great meal so I paid for the meal while she is taking care of me and on the phone eith someone and ignoring me and other customers at the register. Poor business ethics, and really poor management. I will never go back to the VI and I havr lived here for 24 years. I will drive to the Signal Butte location from noe on. Word of mouth is the best advertizement, it can make or break you and I will let my church group, school group and all winter visitors I can talk to to not go to this particular VI. By the way TJ Guy whi is the General Manager told his acting manager what to tell me is what she told me and gave me HIS phonr to call him if I had any questions... BAd Bad Business

I was going to put up what happened to me and my sister in the Council Bluffs, IA Madison Avenue store, but ya know what after reading these comments about other people having problems, It would seem that Village Inns all over the country just need to close up shop or do a complete Management Overhaul, because your Managers and General Managers need lessons in customer service and also how to run a resturaunt because it seems they are having quite a lot of problems. A suggestion from me would be, "Shut Down" all Village Inns until you can get things straightened out, but then again more than likely your just another corporation that makes millions of dollars and dont really care about customers as long as they are paying and you people are making money. What a shame too because it keeps and no one will be going to your stores anymore then you will go out of business. YaY! thats what should happen when you care more about money and not about customer service.

Re: Village Inn on San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL My partner and I eat at this restaurant about 2-3 times a month. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. Sometimes we have breakfast, sometimes dinner (although we are always eat in the evening, you know, breakfast for dinner, LOL). Sometimes it is too cold. Other than that we always have a great meal!

My husband and I enjoy going to Village Inn for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. My husband is now in a wheeel chair and we have a problem trying to enter the restaurant. They are not Handicap Friendly. Trying to open the door and push a wheel chair through is very difficult. Also, the bathrooms need to be larger to accommodate the wheel chair. I hope that you will find the time to address these issues. We do so much enjoy eating at Village Inn. P.S. Can you try and have them put the "Philly's Cheese Steak Sandwich back on the menu. I really would appreciate it. Thanks Anna Martha Chambers

The general manager (Marsha) and cooking staff at Village Inn in Pensacola Fl (off 9 Mile Road) smoke marijuana and make purchases out the back of kitchen door during shift. Management is also having sexual relations with crew members.Cooks drop meat on nasty floor in kitchen and pick back up and still serve it to customers. Its amazing to see they still have a few customers. Drug testing and meet health code standards will be a major plus for thus resturant.Management should raise voice nor curse at crew members in front of customers at anytime. Discusted!!!!!!!!!!!! We live near the Village Inn at Hampden and Yosemite in Denver Colorado and have been regular customers of theirs for years. The last two times we ate there, the server literally took the order and then dropped off the food and check never to be seen again. We spoke to the manager the first time and were told she would talk to the server. Then we brought my parents in for a special occasion since this is their favorite restaurant, and the same thing happened again. I spoke with the manager AGAIN and was told she would speak to the server. I contacted the corporate office here in Denver this time. Mr. Robert Ives sent an apology and said he had corrected the matter by talking to the staff. He said he would send a meal voucher. It never arrived. Obviously, this man is like the manager at this store -- all talk and no action. Our neighbors just ate there and had the same "dump and dash" experience. Even the fast food establishments go around and follow up with food experience now. It's obvious this Village Inn has severe management issues from the top down. My dad was hoping to eat at Village Inn for Father's Day. However, the family agreed it wasn't worth the brain damage and are going to another place where we can refills, get follow-up, and people have passion for their jobs. We are staying away until this place gets its act together. We have lived in the area many years and hope to return when another management team is in there that really does care about customer service is in place.

I have a service dog with his tag, I was NOT told not to feed him at the Village Inn. She said that Bla Bla about improprerate feeding my dog under the table. She made it clear that she would ask me to leave if I feed the dog again. When we left, I said "Put up a sign" about do not feed the dog, she kept telling me again, and I only said "Put up a sign". It is best to put up a sign than to embarrased me 2 different times. And above all Shut Up! Sandra from Los Lunas, NM It is best you do read this so other service dog owner knows this!

your employee's in the Omaha area are suffering from drug abusing general managers that are stuck up and rude to the customers... they also love to hang up on old employee's. Something needs to be done about Tim at Th and Lst and Paul Welch at Twin Creek Drive. both are idiots and rude to everyone, both have admitted to me as en employee they don't care about any of us and are only interested in having the store up and running even if it ends up getting the employee's evicted, kicked-out of school/college, and so on. Get better managers or close your chain.

Your employees hate their life!!!! The new GM Shelli Loosli at 2929 state street is on drugs and sooooo abusive!!!! Please pay attention to how many you have lost and more to come.....full investigation plus drug testing is a bonus!! Karol.

VILLAGE INN - LOS LUNAS, NEW MEXICO The Los Alamos High School marching band will be attending a band competition in Los Lunas, New Mexico on Saturday, October 15, 2011. I called the Village Inn location is Los Lunas, NM to see if they could accommodate our large group (90 people). I spoke to the General Manager - Rachel Hand. You have an outstanding General Manager. Ms. Hand immediately offered to make arrangements to accommodate our large group. She went over and above the service that I expected. The band is really looking forward to having their meal at your restaurant. I am submitting this comment to inform you of the exceptional General Manager you have in Los Lunas, New Mexico ... Ms. Rachel Hand. If you have any type of award to acknowledge your managers, I would absolutely recommend Ms. Hand for an award. We will plan on making Village Inn our stop anytime we have school events in the Los Lunas area ... or any area for that matter ... thanks to the outstanding customer service we have received from Ms. Hand. We will relay this to our school so that they can share this recommendation with all other sports/groups from our school that travel to various locations (especially if they travel to Los Lunas, NM). On top of the outstanding reception from Ms. Hand, you also have a wonderful menu selection which are reasonably priced. This is important when you travel for school functions and have to minimize costs. I recommend Village Inn for all schools across the United States. Thank you to Ms. Rachel Hand for your outstanding customer service, professionalism and demeanor. You have been a joy to communicate with. Sincerely, Sandy Lucero
