I rated pnc 3 stars only because I get good customer service. The corporate office and phone customer service is the pits. It is sad that mobile check deposit can only be done by iphone or virtualwallet which you can only have for personal accounts. What does that say to pnc's business customers? They really don't care for you if you don't care for iphones. So because I refuse to switch from android I guess I have to switch banks.

I applied for the $150 promo and Martha Lightle told me a brokerage acct is NOT eligible for the ACH. When i e-mailed the general inquiry from PNC,they said it was. Now,Martha won't respond or take my calls.

Wow...I just opened a PNC account 2 months ago. I was told that there was a "promotion $150" the so-called offer when you open an account... do 10 credit swipes, direct deposit, and pay 5 bills online. I was told afterwards id get $150. So i thought hey, give it a try. I busted my butt doing all 3 in a matter of a month. Now I'm told the total opposite....direct deposit had to be first than everything else follows... my direct deposit was late due to my employer,so I was not given the incentive for the direct deposit. I did all 3 for NOTHING because PNC does not inform a customer about any specific order that has to be done! This is false advertising by omission! I am sure that no one that signs up for this promotion was told about the hoops you have to hop through..it is all after the fact! False advertising obviously....and what unsuspecting customer would even think about asking about the order of these transactions? Not only that...there is an very big issue with the account representatives!!! I called about a question on my account and the teller told me " I don't recognize your voice call the 1-800 number" I than had to go in and ID myself. I am in that bank several times a week and the the staff even knows me by name. I was extremely upset that a bank rep would say that she did not recognize my voice!!! Is this new banking protocol???? Are the reps expected to KNOW a customer by voice???? I don't think so....this was the poorest example of customer service I have ever heard. I gave this teller my ID and she was beligerent once she realized that I was the person she had spoken to on the phone 10 minutes ago. I presented my ID and she could she that I was perturbed by this behavior on her part. Her attitude and tone of voice through this transaction indicated that SHE felt insulted that she had to deal with me!! Last time I checked, this was about my treatment as a customer, not about her anger directed at me because SHE handled the entire issue unacceptibly.I'm getting out....RUN RUN RUN IS RIGHT!!! how are you suppose to trust a bank with your money when they are incompetent!

I have been with PNC since and before over Indiana National Bank in Indianapolis, IN. They now refuse to renew my equity line. I have never missed a payment nor bounced a check, Now after the refuse to renew my line of credit on a Securied Home Equity Line of Credit, the same day the raised my line of Credit on a non securied charge card. These people are strang and very rude when I tried to ask question, they just say my Debt to income was to low, I AM A 1099 self emplyed TAX's Payer so my Tax return shows (0) tax & a tax Credit. In closeing if you do business with this bank expect to deal with rude dumb people.

In solidarity with the OCCUPY Wall Street movement and the hundreds of thousands of people across our country who have lost their homes or jobs, I closed my account with PNC and moved my money to a local credit union which offered all the services of the bank, but with better terms and personal service. I even received a handwritten personal thank you note from the young woman who helped me set up my account, advising me to contact her if ever I needed anything! Hit the Big Banks where it hurts - take your money to a credit union!

Run. And I mean run away from this bank. Do not, I repeat, do not get involved with them. - math errors - fees charged on mistakes caused by PNC - no customer service - refuse to provide supervisors - corporate ignores certified letters, Fedex, and Emails, no response whatsoever - morons in all significant positions that you deal with - anything they can screw up they will - don't bother

RIDICulous!!!!!!!! Take your money out NOW because they will find some way to mishandle it. We had a mortgage with pnc as well as several personal accounts. We paid our mortgage off 3 mos ago!!!! We had previously used the automated payment system to pay All our bills. Somehow a payment was automatically made 3 mos after our mortgage was paid off. They don't know how this happened but will try to get us a check for the payment in about 10 days. 15 days later still no check. Pretty sure this constitutes embeselment or theft!!

10 months after my mother passed away, i get the third degree and have to present documents that had died even though i did so when she died. No apologies, nothing. I am so glad i live in Ohio where i can get away from this outfit who cares little for its customers. I really doubt if they know the meaning of what a customer is all about.

PNC Danforth & karney N.J branch put a hold on me account & called the police to have my famliy & i removed. Everytime i called the branches or customer service i was told different things. And no one can lift the hold but the person that put it on. WTF!!!!!!!! THAT MEANS THAT I WORKED HARD FOR MY $$$ AND SOMEONE CAN LEAVE ME HOMELESS, HUNGRY, HELPLESS AND IN DANGER WHEN EVER THEY WANT. CUZ THEY (PNC) SAY SO THEN TELL U SOME BS POLCITY( WHICH IS NOT TRUE). WHO GAVE THESE PPL THE RIGHT !!!! THEN WHEN I PROVE THAT IS PERSONAL I AM TOLD HOW SORRY THE PERSON IS .... NO (MTF) I AM FOR BANKING WITH PNC FOR A WHOLE (F) WEEK. PNC HANDLE TWO CHECKS FOR ME AND (F) THAT UP ALL WITHIN A WEEK. GET UR $$$ AND RUN FAR & FAST

I have flood insurance with PNC Bank....You have to pay extra for this type of insurance since we live by the water. Now, there was a FLOOD from "Hurricane Irene" and we are "STILL" waiting for our check to repair/replacement the damage. There is NO HEAT or AIR...we are using space heaters to heat the house and had to buy a air conditioner to cool the house!!! This Bank is the worst, no one calls or helps you, no one CARES all they want is there MONEY!!! Maybe if you I call FOX or SEVEN on your side then they will listen to you....all we here is the check is in this office or that office....NEVER will I EVER Bank here again!

My debit card was hacked into and fraudulent charges made more than $1500 to my acct and PNC didnt care that it was my s.s. income and took their time into doing their "investigative research," so i made all the phone calls, police report and when i kept going back and forth to the local branch to handle this matter and they couldnt give me any info on "who" did this fraudulent charges, gave me a number for their fraud dept. Upon calling this number that a branch rep gave me, it was only for employees and they couldnt help me, transferred me to their helpful customer service who blatently told me i cant speak to the fraud dept, they dont talk to customers only branch reps. So I have no money and even though it was fraud, they charged me a insufficient fee and posted these charges with a fee for a new debit card. My acct is so messed up i dont even want to look at it anymore. No one bothered to help and i had to keep running back to the branch to do things even though it was told to me, "they would handle it". To this day, im still getting" misc fees attached to my acct". Nothing but aggravation after 6 years of being a customer. No more!!!

I deposited an insurance check in the Indian Head MD. branch on a Saturday and was told funds would be available on the following Tuesday. I went to the Oxon Hill branch which is managed by a Mr. Dawkins(Loser)on Friday to withdraw funds to pay a contractor working at my home. I was delayed and then told that they had to call somebody to check something and until they hear back from that somebody I couldn't make a withdrawal. I was furious and left that stupid branch. I had to go home and tell the contractors that they were not going to be paid (this is Friday mind you and I bet everyone at PNC had their Friday paycheck). I tried contacting the Oxon Hill, MD branch again to see what the hell was going on. I was told that I could go back to the Indian Head branch which agreed to give me my money but I couldn't come to the Oxon Hill Br. to make a withdrawal. I have never heard of such. One branch can and the other can't. I'm now working on moving all my dealings with PNC. Anybody looking for a good bank don't stop by PNC. I'm still waiting on a call back. I also would like a written appology from the corporate office. Disgusted

I Love PNC or I did - the people at my branch are great. They are informed, pleasant and crosstrained so you don't have to wait. They also seemed concerned about hellping you with eveything. Now, we just applied for a Home Equity loan to consolidate our mtg and PNC home equity loan which would have reduced our payment by 1/3 and we were denied because we own a B&B!!!!! Not that we couldn't pay our bills- we have NEVER been late on our mortg.or home equity loan. the reason we were denied was that we own a B&B!!!! Hello - We hadn't even submitted our financial statement. so I am writing a letter to the presdent of PNC. Hope it works. We are a good risk- pay our bills on tme and do without!! I hope I can write another comment telling you all that they reconsidered. Cause other than this I really like their online services and their customer service at their branch.

Service is really awful! I sent a BANK CHECK to "PNC- BANK BY MAIL. The staff;Your staff returned a BANK CHECK Pittsburg, PA returned the BANK CHECK saying the 3 people on the account had to sign it. I told them the BANK PRESIDENT or COMPTROLLER SIGNED the check because it is a BANK CHECK and NOT my personal check. Pittsburg also said the check did not cite a PAYEE. It did and reads: "PAY TO THE ORDER OF - "PNC-BANK BY MAIL (REF: p7-PFSC-04-C. These were instruction given by PNC in Cincinnati where the ELOC was opened. I followed the process, same as before, and this was the first time I'd had a problem.

I'd give it zero if I could. The worst, most incompetent bank I have ever come across, what garbage. Their stupidity is mind boggling, should be investigated. Forced payment of a subordination on a refi for the line of credit with them by ONLY adding it to the LOC. WOULD NOT EVEN TAKE A BANK CHECK! And was never told at the beginning, and that are doing a re-appraisal for my home - it is only a subordination, not a mortgage with them. EVERYONE dhould contact bank oversight dtate and Fed agencies to report them immediately!

PNC seemed great when they loaned my money for my small business to help me get started. However, when I needed to increase my credit line I was refused!! I paid my loan and mortgage payments every month, yet despite this they abandoned me when i needed help. Also the constant nickel and dime charges for everything is really aggravating. I transferred money from savings to checking "too many times" in one month and they converted the savings to a checking without my ok and removed it from my online banking screen. They are really horrible. I will switch banks when i get the opportunity

Both my husband and I have business accounts, mortgages and a Line of Credit currently with PNC Bank. We recently purchased a second home and applied for a mortgage for half of the purchase price. It has been one of the most frustrating and aggravating experiences of our lives. We cannot believe the unnecessary laundry list of documents the underwriters have required which have no bearing on securing this mortgage. I feel harassed and bullied by this institution.

We dealt w/National City for eons before PNC took over. We've had our credit card with them for almost as long. Never failed to make a payment through the years. Strangely, we stopped getting statements in May. I called and after jumping through hoops, was finally able to make a payment. At the same time, I set up an automatic bill pay for the credit card. Next thing I know, I got a phone call from a collection agency demanding the balance immediately. To say I was confused, is to put it mildly. I explained that I had the account on auto bill pay. Jamal informed me that he didn't know anything about that and frankly couldn't care ... our account was turned into them and that was that, period. Called the bank and got absolutely nowhere! We had to transfer the balance of the PNC card ... get this, to another PNC account at 24.79% interest!!! And today??? PNC deducted a payment for the credit card they turned over to collection!

I needed a car loan. I was refused and i said that is bullshit. You see i am disabled. I have been in the hospital for 6 months and finally got home. I have been with this bank for at least 5 years. No problems with my checking account. For saying "this is bullshit" the canceled my account. Who made them God. This bank is like a third world. All of is entitled to say, THIS IS BULLSHIT.I did not call any individual of this bank a name. This is fact.My disabilty check is direct deposit.I do hope there is no delay in my check because of there I DON'T CARE ATTITUDE. Thankyou,for this avenue.

Had a Mortgage with PNC. was never behind on my payments, fell behind on my taxes and immediately PNC called in my loan. During the time I was arrainging other financing to save my office building and business PNC Decided they needed a new appraisal and envioronmental evaluation, they assured me by phone and by nemail I would not have to pay for these unessesary studies and then on the payoff letter they included them, finally after hearing from my attorney rescinded the envioronmetal cost but not the two thousand dollars for the appraisal. Total lack of integrity. Business people beware
