The prices are high. The service is abysmal. So why go to Outback? Perhaps for the political overtones. They contributed $5000 to the campaign of Daniel Webster, the candidate who with lots of bucks from big business defeated Alan Grayson, the best representative in the House of Representatives that the working man has ever had. I intend to vote with my feet and my dollars by finding and patronizing restaurants and other retailers who actually want to see more jobs, better safety, and better working conditions for Americans. I'll bet that if Paul Avery who runs Outback could do so, he'd outsource jobs at Outback! I believe that true patriots support good paying positions that provide good service and products for Americans and I think it's time that American business be held accountable.

Dirty, who wants to dine in a unclean establishment. Also parking lot full of OIL, from vehicles leaking oil cause me to slip and fall. The most unsightly grime Restaurants in the U.S.A.They need to be Disinfected, Appearance matters.

I guess the 14.99 special that's been aired on TV countless times doesn't apply in california that's what the restaurant in azusa California said their special is 21.99 I wasn't satisfied at all. I would like a resolution to this problem.

My family eat at the clackamas outback often. However, it's more often than not that we have a problem. When the food is cooked right, warm and the right food, it's great. However,,,, we now have safety to worry about. We had curbside meals and when eating the salad I bit into something very hard. Much to my surprise it was a chunk of glass. I've spoken with the mgr but he didn't sound as if he believed me. Offered a free meal w/o the glass. Not funny... I wasn't cut, hurt or anything that I know of (YET). Worried a little that I may have swollowed some I wasn't aware of, since i had half my salad gone before I bit into the glass. I am taking the glass and salad in. Don't care about a refund, it's only the salad and the steak was great, but if he doesn't believe me then he isn't going to put much effort into finding out how this happened or preventing it from occuring again. That is enough to scare me off. Sad because we enjoyed the food, but I've never had this happen and not going to go somewhere it could happen again. I've decided if he doesn't take it serious I will noficy the state, so they can look into it and make sure no one gets hurt.

Just left outback in Ann arbor Michigan. I sent back uncooked chicken that I spit out off my mouth. The manager re-cooked the pieces of chicken and brought the back. How unprofessional is that. I will never eat there again.

Your Outback Steakhouse in Duluth, Ga. 442-8775 was the choice of my son in law to take my daughter for her birthday. So, I called and ordered a bottle of wine to go with their dinner. I gave them my credit card numbers. The young lady said she would see my daughter enjoyed the gift. The a few minutes later she call beck and siad her manager would not take credit cards over the phone. I would have to come in and give them im credit card...but I live in Virgnia..and my daughter lives in Duluth, Ga. It this a joke? A national company like Outback will not take a credit care for $29.00....I want a reply from the President of Outback.

We ate at the mckellips and gilbert outback in mesa az saturday before valentines day. We arrived at 5;30 and were immedately sat in a booth in the bar. The server was Tommy and we were told he would be right with us. At that time we they were not busy. It took 20 mins. to be acknowledged and nt one person came by for a drink order or even water. I had to call a manager over and all he could come up with was the server was busy, his way of handling the problem wa to give a card for a couple of drinks or appetizer at a later time. Service was bad food mediocre and we were there for over two hours. The special was never mentioned, we asked after we had ordered. We will never return there again.............

I absolutely love Outback! It's my favorite restaurant, and I've never experienced anything but outstanding service whenever I eat there. Regardless of the location, I'm always beyond satisfied. The food, the prices, and the service are all fantastic. I've never had to send something back to the kitchen that wasn't cooked to my liking. Keep it up!!

I worked at Outback in Lafayette, and again at another location in Indiana. I wanted to work for Outback because they sell you on all these principals and beliefs and their food is truly amazing. Fresh food that contains no preservatives in this business is rare. I felt proud to serve the food that we offered. After 6 + years of employment I can tell you that the food has changed and even worse the values of the restaurant have change drastically. In the district that I worked in, it was stated over and over that there were to only be a certain number of men working on the floor. Promotions were given based on bra size and the ability to openly make sexual advances, in good fun of course. Homosexuals were made fun of and NEVER promoted b/c and I quote "What guy wants a fairy serving his beers"! The manager at Bloomington was the saddest excuse of a manger I have ever seen. He gay bashed daily, he drank and socialized with his workers and if you weren't a drinking buddy his schedule was a weapon to be used against any that spoke out. He made sexual comments and advances and any complaint ended with no action. If you had complained and John Benjamin actually came to talk to him (really he just gave him a frat boy high five and a wink)you knew that your days were numbered. Principles and Beliefs are nothing but a feel good idea to make you think that you are entering a company that might really care about it's employees. The idea of Customer Service is a joke. I was there to make my customers happy but that was almost impossible to do since Jacob cared VERY little about the customers. If he did like you as a customer you got to see pictures of HORRID things on his phone and hear all about his puking after drinking the night before. Great dinner conversation. The reason Outback has gone so far down hill is because sadly there is a Jacob in almost every store. The occasional visit from JVP who has no idea about running the business or who are customers are is a waste of pay and actually does little to help the store or the customer. John is 50 yr. old father and grandfather and still insist while he is in the store to look at, make comments to, and touch girls, some no older that 15 or 16. Outback had a great company in the beginning but I think that unless they get back to the basics and stop running it like a Hooters and hiring old frat boys posing as corporate men who don't want to grow up they are doomed.

There Was a shrimp tail in my mashed potatoes today and the management was poor because the supervisor questioned me inappropriately and had the nerve to argue with me about it! How unprofessional. He only compensated me $3 for having a hairy fish tail in my food. I will NEVER go back to the Moreno Valley, Ca outback location.

My family enjoys eating at Outback 2-3 times a month, the only way it could be better is if we had one located 5 minutes from our house. The food is very well prepared, Management cares and makes rounds with a smile. The staff are happy and make every effort to give great service. Please contact me at 610-345-1338, I would like to speak with your Marketing and Business Development Executive Team regarding a proposal.

To whom it may concern, My name is Nicholas and I would like to make you aware of your service at the Outback in Lawton, OK. My wife and I, as well as our two children went to Outback on 24 Nov 2010. We arrived there at 5:57pm and did not have a waitress take our drink order for about 11 minutes. When the waitress finally acknowledged us she came over and took our drink and appetizer orders. I do not recall her name. She did not write down the order and when she brought the drinks, (10 min later) I received a beer I did not order. The Aussie Cheese fries were incorrectly prepared and we waited another 12 minutes to get them. We had now been there for about 30 minutes. When the fries came the waitress then took our order. Our salads came out about another 15 minutes later. Finally, after an hour, another waitress brought our food out. At this point I had only seen my waitress a total of two times, (in an hour)! My wife's steak was seriously overcooked and her side dish, which was Aussie Cheese fries were again wrong! My children's macaroni and cheese was ice cold! This is probably because our waitress was to "busy" to get our food to us in time and had she wrote down the order, maybe it would have been correct. Outback is my favorite restaurant, however, the last three times we went to the Lawton Outback the service has been HORRIBLE. I told the manager on duty that I wanted to pay for the food. She refused and would not give me a bill. I left $55 on the table for the food anyway. I was out tonight to celebrate my college graduation and all this has done is ruin my evening!!! I will never, and I mean never go to the Lawton Outback again. I will gladly spend my money somewhere else. I am also going to tell my coworkers how awful your establishment is with customer service. I do not want anything in return because of this evening. You need to take a serious look into who you are employing at your establishment if you want people to continue to go there. There are plenty of other places a family can go in Lawton to eat as well as new places soon arriving. I hope it was worth it, I have lived in Lawton for two years now and had eaten at your restaurant at least 30 times...NEVER AGAIN. I would also like to remind you that about a month ago you talked with my wife and I there in regards to our poor service and explained that you were in a transition period and to be patient as well as give you another chance to prove your restaurant was worth going to. I agreed and we tried it again, and again tonight. Your right, the service did change, it got much worse. Thanks for your time, Nicholas

My first visit at about was when the resturant first opened in Calumet City Ill! It was horrible then and horrible now! i had a bad experience..... The glass i had in my hand cracked in my hand n the manager really showed no concern...... i had the quasidilla n they were burnt ..if u want great steaks i know of a lot of diffrent places, n its not Outback! yuck !!!

Tonight I saw the ad on TV for Outback Steakhouse for the shrimp and steak dinner for 10.99. The last time I saw the ad, our Outback didn't have the deal, so I had my boyfriend call ahead and ask if they had the deals this time. They said no problem, so we headed over there within 15 minutes. Once we were seated and ready to order, the waitress told us they had run out of the specials. I was pretty upset given the fact we had called ahead, so I asked to speak to a manager. We asked him if he could provide us with substitute since they ran out of the special...basically, something for the same price. He said he absolutely could not and we were out of luck. Since it was the second time it had happened to me at Outback in the past couple of months, I told the manager, I wanted to leave. He said "see ya later." I am very disappointed in Outback and would never ever grace their doorstep again. If a restaurant cannot honor its own TV ads, twice now, then it shouldn't be in business. Over the years, I have worked in literally dozens of restaurants..when there is an advertised special and the place runs out, they offer something as a replacement...this is standard practice. Outback has a practice of engaging in un-scrupulous advertising that it does not back up when you visit the restaurant....appalling!!!!

i want my money back for the poor service,at your costa mesa place .on august 8 2010 i called the818-866-1919. she said she would get me what i want. so as ofaugust25 2010. no refund and she will call me back. my phone 714-598-6611

I eat at Outback 3 to 4 times a month. I ordered curbside on Friday June 12, 2010 at the Holbrook, New York Outback Steakhouse two Outback Special Steak which comes with 2 sides. I ordered a potato as my 1st side and the salad as the 2nd side for each. When I returned home I noticed that I had been charged $5.98 for the 2 salads. Upon returning to the restaurent they apologized and gave me a card for a free appetizer. I stated I rather they refunded my money and was told that don't do that and the free appetizer was a better deal. I am very dis-satisfied, I feel they should refund my money being this was their error and the free appetizer should be for my inconvenience. I would appreciate speaking to someone my phone number is 631 737-3072

Years ago,I ate at your Rowland Heights,California Restaurant.I requested a well done steak. The steak was burnt.I complained to the waitor,He then brought out the overweight chef to our table who was arguing, that the meat was not burnt.I was very embarrassed and humilated.I have not eaten there since. It was a poor experience. This was over 15 years ago.I regret that I did not complain to management that evening.I am complaining now,I deserve an apology. Sincerly, Laura Lane 2380 Fullercreek Rd Chino Hills,Ca 91709

My husband, my 2 grandchildren went to Outback steakhouse in Hot Springs Ar. after hearing the TV add special for steak & Lobster for 14.99....The waitress informed us that they ran out of that special & discontinued it. I ordered a steak & lobster tail for 20.00. Just heard the add again on TV which made me mad because it is not available. Gloria Benish
