Purchased a 2005 S class from Mercedes Benz of COLUMBUS OH. The car was listed on the MBUSA site. spoke w a rookie salesperson, asked for a mechanic review of the car, tires, suspension, transmission. The car was run through service. " minor transmission services and a report on tread depth on tires, nothing else listed as concerns. I drove to Ohio from Mi, did a visual and 15minute test drive, reviewed the PRINTED mechanic report, agreed to buy the car, I signed the as is documents, based on the mechanic report. the next day (Saturday) the car was in a certified mechanic shop (Belle Tire) for 4 new tires, controls arms and 4 wheel alignment. I paid over $3000 in repairs, I also bought the car with $.3000 on my AMEX card, I requested AMEX reverse the $3000',they did until the dealer complained, AMEX reversed it to the dealer favor, I am in review with AMEX now. NEVER has the dealer offered to negotiate the costs, or offer any good faith effort to satisfy a Mercedes Customer. BUYER beware, MB COLUMBUS OHIO dealer is no different than the used car guy on the corner

I took my GL 450 to the Manhattan dealer for a left side suspension, and they unfortunately had an accident with my vehicle. I go to the dealer to check the damages and they STEAL my work bag out of the loaner car, and I was only there for about 15 minutes. Ok so they fix the truck, and I go to pick it up and they have the nerve to want me to pay, HA HA HA no way, they should have paid me for all the inconvenience they put me through. So I pay for shouldn't mistake, and for someone stealing from me? (Again no way) So we solve the problem with the payment and my bag. SO I get in the truck ready to leave and realize they, once again they STOLE (2) of my all weather MB mats out of the truck, and had the nerve to tried and replace them with cheaper mats.( ok problem solve) So upon me checking the entire vehicle, I noticed the back of my truck was a little lower then the front. Oh they tell me its off a couple of meters and it shouldn't be a problem for a couple of years. ARE THESE PEOPLE CRAZY OR THEY THINK IM THAT STUPID? I did not bring the truck in there like that, so again, I had to leave my truck. Oh the kicker was they did not have a loaner car to give me can you believe it, they wanted me to call someone to pick me up. Again the nerve of them, AFTER ALL THE INCONVENIENCE. However they found one. With all this being said I lost money for the week of me driving this small vehicle. Im will never recommend this dealership to buy or for service. I give this a ZERO rating, however they don't offer that so I was force to give it a one star. I will also be sending my complaint to BBB.

Monday morning I will awake at 4:00 am and take my 2009 C-63 to Mercedes of Knoxville for the same reason I have taken it before, a check engine light. It will show left bank lean at idle and mid range. This will be my fifth trip. It needs a mass air meter sensor. I have been advised that something has to show the sensor bad before it will be replaced. Just what in the hell are they doing while they have the car. They are pulling the code and sending me on my way just to have it come back on in an hour. This past Tuesday I drove up again and was told the light would come back on at some point just as I left to go home. They where correct. Did they check the O2 exhaust sensors, no. Did they check the mass air sensor by itself, no. Funny thing is that they ordered a mass air sensor for the car but never installed it. They could have trouble shot the situation by changing it anyway. It appears I'm dealing with a bunch of people with their heads stuck up there anus's. I had always thought Mercedes was a quality built car.

i bout my wife an 09 E350 FROM MERCEDES BENZ OF CUTLERBAY IN MIAMI FLA.3 MONTHS A GO.I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK THE VERY NEXT DAY BECOUSE IT HAD PROBLEMS.WAS PULLING TO THE RIGHT VIBRATED VERY BAD SAT IN THE DEALER FOR 3 DAYS GOT IT BACK DROVE HOME THE SAME PROBLEM WENT BACK TO DEALER.THEY RECHECKED CAR TOLD ME IT HAD BENT RIMS.I TOLD THEM IF THIS IS SUPOSE TO BE MERCEDES BEN CERTIFIED HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN.CAR STAYED IN DEALER 8DAYS WHILE THEY FIX THE RIMS.I ONLY PUT 1900 MILES ON CAR HAD PROBLEM WITH A/C AND CAR STILL PULLS TO THE RIGHT AND NOW HAS A KNOCKING NOISE IN ENGINE.THEY REPAIR THE ENGINE AND DAMEGED THE MOTOR NOW THEY WANT TO BUY ME OUT OF THE CAR AND PUT ME IN AN OTHER CAR BUT THEY HIT ME WITH A NEGITIVE OF 6343 DOLLARS ON MY CAR THATS NO RIGHT WHY SHOULD I LOSE $6343 DOLLARS ON A CAR THEY SOLD ME THAT WAS NO GOOD!PLEASE CONTACT AT lulunissan@mail.com this just happen 5 days a go and i still went and bought 2 more cars from that dealer.but i am going to take legal action on that im not going to lose so much money.cell 786 759 7208

Aristocrat Motors of Merriam, Kansas sold a pre-owned car and stated that it had been a 1 owner vehicle, ALL service performed at Aristocrat. Aristocrat said the car had been a Mercedes Benz Certified car as well prior our purchase. Well how can a car be CERTIFIED when the car had been stolen, damaged, Aristocrat repaired the car, they disabled the infra keys and sold the car with only 1 key. After reading the requirements for a Mercedes Benz to meet the CERTIFICATION standards (the damage/stolen act occured prior to the certification according to the detailed history report we received by accident from the service department) if the car has had prior damage, body part replacement(s), must have two keys. But did they disclose any of this? Of course not.

I own C-320 and I have maintained as per guidelines. It has given me good service but both door handles have come out. If I ask dealer to repair it, it will cost me Arm and Leg. I am therefore trying to manage it but it is very Frustrating. It is MB poor quality and should not happen to an expensive car like C-320. wHENEVER ANY GUESTS COME IN MY CAR THEIR FIRST REMARK IS THAT WHAT A POOR QUALITY MB IS MAKING CARS. i AM TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. If only one handle was damaged, I would say that perhaps I handled roughly but both handles ( Driver & Passenger side) coming out tells me that is is poor material and workmanship.

My Wife took her 2007 C230 to Mercedes orange park jacksonville fla had her fluid maintenace preformed, everything was change EXCEPT the transmission fluid and now she need a transmission. the tech and the represenative notice it was getting close to have the transmission fluid changed, but decided not to change it at that time. all this has been documented in my wife's file, and is in writing also I have tried twice to call the service manager with no response Mercedes is to be the top of the line in the auto industries, I'm very DISSAPOINTED

My air shocks have failed me 3 times on the 2003 sel series the company knows that it is a factory defect and should have been a recall on those cars. I tried to call the local dealer they never answer their phones and they are always out to lunch or gone for extended days. I have left many messages and they never call back I cant even get a call through to the corporate office. Good Luck this will be the last mercedes i will ever buy. Don't ever go to Walters Dealer in Riverside,Ca. for a sevice. I got a brand new GLK350 for my birthday last year. But I still love my ML. I've had my ML forever. I did my own maintenance on it in and out and under the hood.I never had to bring my ML to the dealer for any minor repairs because last time they charge me $800 to get my brakes done when my ML was still fairly new in 03.Mercedes are known to last long thats probably why the service and maintenace are costly.I brought my ML to the dealer due for a RECALL! one of the recall is for the power steering. My ML had been licking fluid for the past 5 or 6 years, and i would fill it four times a month.in order to do so i have to open my hood to fill it.before i brought my car to the dealer ,I had to make sure there was a fluid in it .when I open the hood it will lift with no resistance and it would stay up in an open position.the next day after bringing my car from the dealer,i tried to open the hood and it was hard to open,it almost felt like it was stuck until I forced it to open and when i finally opened it then the hood slammed shut.I never had a problem with the hood staying up until i had brought it to the dealer for a RECALL. Bringing my car to the dealer supposed to fix the problem to keep the car in a long term condition.But bringing it to this dealer gave me another reason to bring it back.is this how they make there service department running, unless ofcourse your car is still under warranty.

I wish there were a 0 star rating. My daughter took her Smart car in for damage to her car's front bumper ( no visible damage) and mercedes quoted her $5000 to fix it. This made us a tad curious, because there was literally no damage visible and the quote seemed just a little high being that the car was worth less than half that much. Talking to people whose jaws were dropping to the floor after hearing the quote we decided to immediately remove the car from their greedy little hands. To do that they charged us $400. ???? For a quote, and refused to release the car unless we paid them the money. After reviewing the bill the service manager decided $325 would do. So we took the car and the list of things Merecedes were going to fix or replace to another dealership. They told us many of the things on the list were perfectly fine and the total ended up under $1500. I know of someone else who took their car to this same dealership for servicing and was told he needed a new fan belt. This also struck this fellow as being strange as his car had no where near the mileage to need a new fanbelt. He took it to another shop and was told the fan belt was just fine. I think someone needs to investigate this dealership as something is not right here.

Fort Lauderdale Mercedes has problems with quality of service. I have had to bring my car back a few times for the same issues. Grateful for courtesy car but today I am waiting an additional 30 minutes due to their cars need to be gassed up. I used to be constantly asked which dealership I purchased my car in as that reflected no options for courtesy car. It is a known fact that South Florida Mercedes dealerships have earned a reputation for bad service. Buyers beware.

I have a ML63. I brought the car to mercedes benz of manhattan for a check engine light. It was a mass air sensor i found out after taken it back 3 times. 3 months later i popped the hood and saw they cracked my plastic engine cover. I was pretty pissed they broke it and didnt even tell me so for my next servicing I take the car to Ray Catena Mercedes benz of New Jersey. The same day I go to show my friend the engine and where the last dealer cracked the cover, They broke it and left it laying on top of the engine right next to the fan. They also cracked the other side of it. Whats with these dealers? I dont know how much the plastic cover could be but why wouldnt they just tell you they broke it. If that piece of plastic would have went into my fan it would have broke it and then they would be banging me over the head again. Im so tired of MB, time to buy eles where.

I have 2 Mercedes Benz and would never buy nor recommend them, not even to an enemy. My car was involved in an accident in which we were rear ended and we brought it back to Prestige, in Paramus where we bought it. What a mistake. After the repair to the rear they noticed it had damage in the front. It has been there for 2 months and I refuse to pick it up. The rear was fixed and paid for by the insurance but the front seems to be a mystery. Mercedes is saying it was due to the accident, Geico is saying its not. So, whats your opinion, was it really due to the accident, was it brought out for a test drive and they hit something, or was I just sold this car this way?! I would love to get a response. One more for you, ask me if I get phone calls, no way, its just sitting there. Mercedes could care less. As for "headquarters" what a joke this is. They cant help me...so why are they there. Someone gets nice paychecks (Maria) and has an attitude with me on the phone. Still waiting since Aug 21st yes today is Oct 21st. Buyer beware - DO NOT BUY A MERCEDES, go for the Lexus, much better customer satisfaction.

I bought my 2008 C350 brand new in 2007 and have had nothing but problems with it! Just recently , the transmission valve body went out on my car and it's barely 4 years old !!!! I was told about an extended warranty and I just bought the car out of the lease a few months ago ! I would have traded it back in if I knew the transmission was going to go out !! They wanted 2500 and I told them that I did not have that kind of money and that this shouldn't have happened in the first place ! I called customer care and they are useless. I was assigned to Robin, the case manager , who needs to take a course on customer service ! She was the rudest woman that I have EVER spoken to! I do not know how she still has a job ! She referred me to Phil at West Covina Penske and he returns my calls every three days! I am 5 months pregnant and just want to know my car is safe to drive ! I am asking for a diagnostic scan to make sure nothing else is wrong with my car ! I would NEVER buy another Mercedes ! For how much I paid for the car , Mercedes does not stand by it's name ! Mercedes is a joke and they need to hire some customer service savvy employees !

I have 2004 CLK which is in good condition.Some minor problems like the alarm will go off all of a sudden.Finally it was changed and off course i had to pay since the warranty is over which is fine.Now the front bumper's paint is pealing off and the MB service did not know why and what causes it.They said they'll repair ir but it's going to cost me almost $1000.Should MB take car of this at no cost.Paint shouldn't peal off especially on MB. I own a 2009 slk that has had few mechanical and electronic problems with less than 20,000km on the meter. I sent it in to be repaired re the scheduled maintenance A.I paid for the tow truck to come for it and take it to Silverstar motors,Kingston,Jamaica. I was told that it needed to have a replacement part.I was then told that the part in question,was out of stock and would have to be ordered.Here is where it starts to get 'exciting'.I was told that the part would take !10-15 working days to get here.Intrestingly,being as I thought this was the 21st century,I found it a little hard to understand why it should take more than 48-72hrs,especially when I'm willing to pay for it myself.Now,with that first part of ridiculousness told,one would think that at least they're service is going to be good.I asked what would be done while I waited for my vehicle to be repaired.No reply was given.I asked then,ok,what about the loaner car that I'm supposed to get while my car is being repaired? Its raining and the new benz switches lanes and gets in front of a Huge Semi Truck, the problem is he doesn't use his blinker signal, and then it shows a child in the back seat. Just wondering.
