I had the worst haircut. I asked for the same haircut I got last time. I ended up with a shag haircut, layers, and uneven ends. I went back to show them, they wanted to try to fix it. I would not have any hair left or it would be way too short. I waited a month I thought it would grow out of it. I went back with my reciept and askesd for a refund. NOOOO refunds. I got a gift certificate for another haircut. I should get my free touch up plus a haircut. It will take at least that much to repair the damage. It's less than one star here.

I got a terrible hair cut on HIP MALL Irving Park Plaza (harlem & Irvang park (Illinois-Chicago) They dont want to give back my money. 7084531600

I took my two little boys in for haircuts today (Santa Clara--Eugene, OR) and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. My autistic 6 year old is a little energetic (he likes to explore) and my 3 year old is afraid of haircuts so he wiggled during his. The two women working were both so outwardly rude, I almost walked out. One is autistic and one is 3. The first had his hair cut and it looked terrible. I'm going to have to fix it myself. My 6 year old sat perfectly still for his and even that has some really bad spots that need fixing. I shouldn't have tipped these ladies. When we left one said, "Come back again" and the other laughed and said, "Yeah, right!" Have they never been with a child with special needs or cut a difficult child's hair? I was amazed and so deeply offended. I will never return and would recommend anyone with children with special needs not support such a disrespectful business.

worst salon ever i dont even know where you pick your stylist from but i do know for a fact a girl named brittany bakely who works at the huntley il location is on drugs and the store manager and assistant manager will not drug test her because they know for a fact she will lose her job personally i dont think the girl should be holding a pair of shears or have a cosmo license. most unprofessional place ive been and the girls are all white trash unless you are getting a buzz cut i wouldnt go there.

I had my hair cut at Great Clips in a suburban Georgia location. A black woman was taking peoples names I asked specifically when a particular person would be there, she was very hateful, I later heard from another person that was her modus operandi, it seems she thinks because of her color she can get by with whatever she chooses, the mgr at this particular store has been told about her but she doesn't do anything about it simply because the woman is black, now how unfair is that. I won't go back I refuse to be treated so rudely.

Hi, my name is Rocky Young, Im not sure where you guys are located, but I live in Lafayette, IN and I graduated in your same industry. As we all know you grow to like certain things and dislike other.(perms-Updos-Woman with super long hair and their not sure whether they want two inches off or a bob)Before I graduated I set my goals high for how I will use the knowlegde I've gained. So in conclusion from graduting I have recently started my owe business. To make a long story shorter, my ideas ranch from cutting men and women's hair, selling products such as perfume, cologane, brushes and Hats. A place that caters to the person that works days and gets off too late to get that haircut or that present for the your wifes B-day. Thus the employer not being on a schedule, not making numbers and clients not worring "can this girl cut my hair right?". But more less showing care to the individual. Employees and clients. Never the less I am an Africn American therefore my ideas take different turns than the usual. I would like a chain of Salon/Barber shops that understand the needs of african American through out the United states. My goals are not the goals of a raceist man but yet a man that would be please to educate the welling in the process of understanding the needs of all individuals, Black, White, Hispanic, Bi-racial, Etc. So I ask you to follow my ideas, stories, and over all give me your opinions on how to make the company envolve and bloom into a place you cant wait to go to or have in your town, city or neirborhood. roccoslounge-com.webs.com

I went in to Great Clips and the lady that cut my hair was the manager and my hair look a hot mess and she, mess my hair up and I need to speak to someone from the corp office because it's sad how she suppose to be the managerr and mess up my hair. Thanks A very angry customer

Hi and Hello, I've been a Stylist for Four years now and have been to many salons looking for a "fit". As it turns out my life has taken new directions [as many people do] and had to find a place that could accommodate my work schedule, as well as a comfortable atmosphere without the absurd uniforms. Great Clips as other stylist have told me is suppose to be a part time job. I've been with Great Clips for almost a year now working fulltime and its just like every other corporate franchise. Salons should not be franchised. You cannot be a happy and healthy stylist worring about what numbers your missing, if your product sales are meeting, how long that cut took you and if your boss will put mats down under the chairs so you don't pass out from how they over work you. Its all about numbers with Great clips. You are a number, their customer is a number. how else are they going to make money if they don't push and push and push you till your all dried up. Slave cuts is what they should be named. because you better give every man, woman and child a buzz cut to meet that twelve to fifteen min cut time as well as make product sales, be fake enough to have a thirty second conceltation, and a ten min cut. You dont have enough time to get to know the client and if your doing fifteen min cuts on a 8 hr shift, I wonder how many people that is? Do you think you can do thirty-two hair cuts a day and be perky and meet every thing expected? who ever decided it was ok to make hair salons a chain business is a moron, you can not crush numbers on an art. interdependently owned salons are the places that should be trusted with kind hands and a loving heart. Sadly these are dieing out because of convenience, as well as money assurance. with a franchise I know my hourly and when my check will be in. As a young twenty-something, with two creative businesses and a increase in hobbies turned career, in order to fuel these careers I need steady so these can bloom. My One Year is coming up and I have lined up interviews else where. As well as i heard about Upscale Male from my mother whom is also a beautician. handed me a flyer, twenty to twenty-five bucks an hour, consistent schedules, sun off, drama-free environment, no clientele needed, and no RUSH/TIMED haircuts! I think they will give Great clips a run for their money, I know thats where I'm going. -young and corp free

I had my hair permed at the Cranberry Mall, PA, rt 19 location and it did not turn out correct. It is all frizzy and stringy. 2 days after the perm I went back for them to fix it. Because your policy is ""My receipt says "your satisfaction is fully guaranteed." What does that mean? It's very important to us that you leave happy. Please let us know if we've made a mistake so we can do our best to make it right. You can even bring your receipt to any Great Clips salon for a free fix" I was told they can not re-perm it for a few weeks. This does not fit into my schedule. I asked for a refund, I was told no and then offered a certificate for a reperm. I said Ok. But.... then the manager was called (also the person who permed my hair) and she said that is was Ok when i left and insinuated that I dd something to screw it up. The best she would do is give me coupons for free haircut. meanwhile I look like a hag. It is the worst perm I have ever had and it was just suppose to be a body wave. My family and friends have frequented Great Clips ever since it opened and we will not go again after this type of treatment. It appears you company does not value their customers

Me and my mom have been going to great clips for a few years now.I usually walk out with a decent simple hair cut that looks well except the other day.At the front desk she asked me if I just wanted a trim.I said yes but usually they just ask me if i want a hair cut today. She takes me to the cutting chair and asks me how many inches i want off.I just said I wanted it shortened up but not really short. Then she combs my hair straight up on top and says how many inches i want off.My hair is a bit long at this time.If I said 1 inch,I don't know what that would be like all the way around my head.I don't cut hair.I said again just shorter then it is but not way short, but even. Then she's pulling my hair from here and there. How much off here? How much off there?I'm not the one giving the hair cut!Well i finally got a chance to say usually I say just give me a layered cut not too short. Then she says now you tell me as if she already started cutting but she didn't.Then she raises her arms and says were not on the same page here.I haven't had this much trouble getting a cut in years. She took the clippers and just started chopping all through my hair every where without being careful. After she chopped my hair shorter then a school boy on the sides and back she lifts the front of my hair and says how much off the front right here.I said make it all even and mach.I kept my cool and hoped for the best and i stayed nice. She didn't know what she was doing.I got home and looked it over more. She basically cut 2 bald spots above my eyes to the sides because it was way too short and left too much length still hangs in my eyes slightly right in the front. It looks like a giant mustache on the front of my head.I cant go anywhere because it looks so bad and cant be fixed I also don't wear hats.I took pictures but what can I do?The customer feed back never called me back either.

Person who cut my hair was high on something I specifically said I wanted to keep my hair long.. End result was that I can not even put my hair in a ponytail. I asked for her manager and she claimed to be it. I asked for her manager she denied me the info. I went home, cried, and tried to fix it my self. The parts that she didn't chop off were completely jagged and lopsided. don't ever go to villa park, IL great clips! Ever!!

When a stylist asks you how you want your hair cut and you tell her that you still want to be able to use a curling iron to which she says how big is your curling iron. 3/4" I reply. My hair is 1/2" long now. She totally messed up my hair. Some days I have to wash my hair 3 to 4 times and start all over in order for it to do anything. The general manager, the manager, the owner, even corporate office have not done ANYTHING to MY satisfaction. Having me come in to have another stylist see what she can do is not the answer. She thinks it is. I will not let this rest until it is handled to my satisfaction. If that means I have to call them everyday then I will. This WILL be dealt with to MY satisfaction and not theirs.

not even one star. rude operators, not professional, she nearly ripped my ear off. not a good cut at all. my husband & myself very unhappy with the whole experience. AGAINafter Iconvinced him he could go to a female hairdresser, as so many othe men do.NEVER

My wife went in for a trim today and the stylist at the Hixson,TN location, RIPPED her hair out of her head so bad that it took uneven CHUNKS/ GAPS ALL over! When she got back home I noticed IT! I didnt want to say anything because my wifeI am pissed OFF!!! I get back from Afghanistan and I see my wife being mistreated... Not smart! You will see my face. When you open and I will get my money back along with legal representation. It's convenient, brothers a lawyer. is a soft spoken loving person that gives her heart out to anyone. I could also tell that she had been crying due to the horrific experience! My wife informed me that the lady vigorusly and repeatedly combed my wifes (naturally curly) blond beautiful hair without using anything.... DRY!!!! She combed it until it ripped out of her head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is devastated!!!! And

I have worked for Great Clips for 15 years, and I have never been treated so poorly and discriminated upon because Im white at this salon Ive worked at. I worked there for 6 1/2 years. Was great at first because I would work 10 hours shifts, and basically lived there. I also have 3 children,a husband and a house to take care of. There are all almost all Asians working there, and Russian. There is only one white person left. All the Asians were treated better because they worked for whatever shift and for however long. My back and feet cannot take those kinds of shifts.I started suffering from anxiety working there. owner would stand and stare at you until you were done doing a haircut so you could take another. Sometimes when really busy, we were told to just keep going. I couldnt,so was made feel guilty for taking a lunch. Also one employee wears very sexy revealing clothes, way out of standards, and is allowed to, because she has a NICE BODY!! WHAT!!! Yes,that swhat I was told. Was always fine for the

I read these and realized most of you are liars. Half of you can't spell. I wonder what the real purpose for this site is.

I don't understand why you name yourselves great clips. My hair is long, and thick. When I went to "Great" clips, I was sat down by a rude lady. I told her how I wanted MY HAIR and she said okay. When I reminded her as she was cutting, she told me no, I can't have my hair that way. I was like, excuse me, this is my hair, NOT YOURS. When she was done with my hair, I had long pieces jutting out of my hair. My bangs were half trimmed, when she straightened my hair, she puts hairspray on before. My hair began to flake off. She was rude, and I will NEVER go back to "GREAT" clips.
