I dont call 24 hour fitness anymore it is 24 hour hell, I think when mark s mastrov was running the company it was much better I am a member of 24 hour fitness actually I was I just canceled today because of the management in metroparkway fitness rude with attitude extra credit card charges that they cant even figure our why good job Carl It cant be worse then that i guess efemuhsinoglu@hotmail.com

To: President of 24 Hour Fitness Dear Sir/Madam: Four years ago my husband's Physician gave him up. His blood pressure, sugar level, etc was very high/off track. By working out at 24 Hour Fitness; he lost over eighty-nine pounds. The Physician took him off all medications. He stated that he was doing great & no longer needed any type of medication. From that day my husband studied to obtained his certification; & he is an Instructor for 24 Hour Fitness. I write in regards to my husband Wayne Tapp being treated unfairly. Thanksgiving morning Wayne & I decided to go to the gym to workout before eating dinner. A lot of the friends/members saw him & stated they would like to ride/Cycle with us. They too came in the cycle room to ride because the door has always been opened; it is never locked. It was an awesome volunteer (unpaid) ride, since the Cycle classes were cancelled for the "whole Thanksgiving weekend. "I" asked him to take me to my favorite gym/South Lake to ride. When people saw him; again they came up to ride. It was his day off. He than was given a note to a.s.a.p call Christa Mills. He called her only to find out that it was a voicemail. Her reply was that she was off that day. In what seemed to be a great day to ride turned into "pure hell." He was wrote up on disciplinary action. Yet, there was also another Instructor in the dance room with other members & with the headset on teaching/leading them, & she was not wrote up. Please help me to understand; first Manager Christa Mills took the time to take the persons/Instructor's call in regards to reporting Wayne. Yet she would not supply him with a number that, he could speak to her direct "since she request that he call her." Second, the other Instructor was not wrote up for her being in the dance room with other members. Wayne simply "just" cycle because that is his passion. We've been bombarded with tons of emails in regards to this issue. I would like to send them all to you and/or Christa Mills or Craig in South Lake, TX. I can't understand why he was wrote up; when he was off work. The doors of the cycle room are always open to all. Second, they decided the wanted to pay him. I've never heard of "getting paid for doing something wrong," if she said he was in the wrong. Is the Instructor who so-called reported him, "that jealous?" Most of the time on Saturday & Sunday mornings he usually teaches two classes. There are forty students in each class, & some of the bikes are previously reserved just to make sure they have a bike to ride in his class. Sincerely, June Tapp

In October of 2009 I paid 199.99 for a years membership in advance. I was told by 3 different employees there that when my membership is about to expire, I will be given a 30 day notice and also since I am I would already be a member, I would have to pay less than the 199.99 for another year of membership. Now that my membership is about due they are trying to charge me the full 199.99. They were very rude and not willing to help me. Since I was already told this, I expect them to honor it. I would like for someone to call me back regarding this issue. Also, I am not sure how often the sauna is cleaned, but it is filthy and has mold in the tiles. I filled this out on their CUSTOMER SERVICE SURVEY" I have left you a few voicemails regarding the unethical and unprofessional way I have been mistreated by your staff at your Lance Armstrong facility. This is a brief description of a survey I just took that was ironically sent to me via the 24hr fit. Website. This is what has occurred. I am happy to get into more detail when we talk; I paid for child care, no longer needed it and asked for the balance to be applied to protein bars, clothes, or shakes like I had done in the past when a manager applied a previous balance to my membership dues -NO PROBLEM. I was told the second time- “this should not be a problem”, but the front desk employee needed to talk to a manager and they would get back to me while I was still there working out. Never heard back that day, know one even called me. After a few attempts to reach the club, I then called your headquarters, same situation, never heard back from anyone. I find this alone to be very concerning and lengthy room for investigation. After several combined efforts to complete this SIMPLE credit exchange for twenty four dollars, I came into the club, asked to talk to the manager (again), of course there was not a manager on duty. I then selected a few protein bars and informed the front desk employee that I had a twenty four dollar credit. At that time I turned in my membership card because it was my last day as a member. Before I left the facility, I asked her to have her manager call me IF there was a problem with the credit exchange which there should not have been an issue what-so-ever. This is really is simple etiquette and basic customer service. Instead of looking in her computer to see that I have an outstanding credit, as I explained to her, or talking to a level headed manager your front desk employee actually reported this incident as a THEFT to the police! SUPER CLUB- I don’t really feel accusing members of stealing is the way to go especially when 24hr fit. I see as the organization who tried it’s best to steal from me and I can only assume other members by the way your child care policy and other return procedures are set up in the first place. Pretty messed up to turn this around & call me the thief! This is one, of the many reasons I canceled my membership. Still, as of today, know one has returned my emails, or calls in upper management. I strongly feel 24hr fit. should not be in business, that is for certain. 24hr fit. Is all over the interned, well known for it’s “horrible customer service”. Now I get it even more after being a member of this- run down facility. I expect these absurd charges to be dropped and your club manager “Heather” to be removed from her position. Heather is the manager who in the past has told me “no” for this, “no” to that and “no” to everything, when others say “yes”. She is horrible and was obviously upset when I went over her head the first time and got my child care credit transferred to my membership dues after she said “no, we can’t do that”. She seems to take pleasure in being rude. I am sorry, “no” is just an unacceptable answer, when I paid for something. She left me a voicemail telling me my membership was revoked and if I stepped foot on the property I would be arrested. This is so beyond unprofessional it’s nothing less than appalling, it should have media attention, really. I feel others should know how this large company treats it’s members. Please call me at your earliest convenience. I need to report back to the police who is kindly waiting your response to this. This situation has consumes entirely to much of my time!
