Western Union has stolen $ yet again. We have. Ann verification they have the $ and have had it over a week. They claim in numerous phone calls that they don't have it or online verification must be done with no information to do it. This scam needs to be dealt with by the government. Many hundreds of reviews showing there's defrauding and misuse by people. Please department of Banking Affairs and Justice Department take note and make arrests.

Horrible service

This company provides no service. They refused to give me the contact information for e corporate office. Their staff is inept and not trained to preform their jobs. Beware of utilizing their website for a large money transfer you risk your funds being tied up for days with no assistance from western union. You will only get the run around

SOMEONE TAKING MY MONEY ORDER OUT OF MY RENT OFFICE. IHAVE BEEN ON HOLD FOR HOURS A DAY TALK TO POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. PEOPLE THAT ANSWER THE PHONE HAVE NO SENSE OF ORGAQNIZATION ON WHAT IT FEEL LIKE TO HAVE SOMETHING TAKING FROM YOU.TELL ME THAT YOUR COMPANY IS NOT GOING TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK. I have been using western union money orders for the last ten years. this is the last time I will be using this service.I was told that it would take 30 days to get a refund from western union on on a lost money oder. My question to the customer service supervisor was is there a fast way to get the money refunded if I paid the service fee over the phone instead of sending in all paper work first? This money order was paying for a very rare collectiable I had spent the last 5 years trying to find. He said he could only do the refund one way and that was that. He showed very little concern for helping me.I will probable loose my chance at getting my collectiable and will have to wait even longer. Thanks Western Union for doing this to me. Vets beware this place does not care about you.

No I haven't.but I'd like to! Most of the time I wouldn't anwser pop questions since were in the country music section and all,but I love Elton John! Im sure he will be singing Alot of his really big hits! Fans expect that when they go to concerts,and who knows how much longer he'll be doing concerts,ya know? I would give my right arm to see him in concert! I would say you'll get more than your moneys worth,and if you have a chance to go I would say, don't miss it for the world!!

i got a letter from wu about three weeks ago,saying if i want to claim money that i sent three years ago[$860 dollars]. i filed claims,made many phone calls trying to get my mmoney back now they send me a lettes saying they got it this has been three weeks[i sent the letter back with a picture id and current address.when i call them back i can't get any one to understand someone with an accent say i'm not on record anywhere. i know this is not true i've called them three times,the last week and a half. i've got the letter telling me about my money. i still use wu i just wish they would send me my funds'as they said they were going to do.

made transaction on line and card was declined for merchant i called western union and was told that transaction was denied but my funds are being withheld by western union for verification from merchant. Merchant has no records of transaction because it was denied. western union tells me then i have to wait 30 days to get my money back. I cant believe this BS. it is my money not western union damm thieves

I came out to Los angles,CA and called floral inn hotel to make a reservation.I told them i had no idea where to go anywhere else;A company called Interactive hotel solutions booked me a reservation in Riverside,CA that was really far from downtown LA that i asked for to book me around.I had called the room,the card,and the company over 10 times and talked to various people.The card company was very nasty with there attitudes and did not offer any help at all.They took my money without me even getting the service that i needed.I didnt even check in to the hotel and they took the money off right away!Me and my fiance had to sleep at the union station from 7:00 in the evening til 1:00 in the evening.A guy named Jorge velasco sent me a form and said if i fill it and fax it i will recieve the money that day.Its been 3 days and im still trying to get my money back.They keep giving me the run-around.They are liers that dont help the customer at all.I give them a thumbs down for being no help at helping me stay in a room and having to be on the streets.Im going to report them to the Better Business Bureau,and also file a lawsuit against them.

There are no words to describe how bad the service was.They are worse than a poor company.They took my money and nothing was purchased.I couldnt check into the hotel and was unable to make it to my reservation so why is money being taken from my card so fast? I have been on the streets with no money and dont have any idea where im at and they cant even have simpathy for my situation.They know that i was right,they just didnt want to work to get me my refund back.I talked to so many representatives and no one made any effort to help me not even the supervisor.They couldnt even provide me with a number to the corporate office or tell me where the corporate office was located for that matter.These people have no sense of organization or what it truly takes to run a company. 16 people, 2 days, and 2 urgent calls to corporate and no resolution to the money I was told (both by mail and by phone)was available yesterday - only to find out that your system is screwed up. I will be contacting my attorney to file a suit that I will win - it has been documented. It is going to cost you more than the paltry $5832 that you owe me - big time. Then, I will be in contact with every TV and Radio station I can find and their consumer avocates divisions. There is a great story here that 60 minutes should take on.

I sent 200.00 dollars to an associate 2 weeks ago..Had to cancel the transaction..I was told I would receive a refund..two weeks later I am still waiting..I have contacted there corporate office..and an"advocate is investigating ": my issue..there is no investigation needed..Just give me my F$#%ing money back..going to the ftc..better business bureau..and attorney generals office if nothing isnt done...QUICK!!!

I have had Western Union credit and debit cards for quite awhile and also used wire transfers, yet have never had anything happen to me like stated by other people here. I am a senior citizen who is also disabled and get my accounts free with no fees deducted, which has been very nice considering both my wife and I live on a fixed income. Even with ID theft once, they replaced a card "immediately." Can't say this has ever been a bad experience when I can't find this kind of great service in my other credit or debit accounts.

Over a year ago now, I sent my daughter $100 and come to find out there wasn't a WU location near her even though they said it was. Either way, they had to "cancel" my transaction to "refund" my money. They have yet to do so....in desperation, I had to send another $50 to a friend in the FBOP and it was sent the wrong way and the same thing happened...NOW I am out $150.00 and it seems from the other complaints I am not the only one. Seems to me there needs to be a class action lawsuit on this in order to get WU's attention. I for one am sick of trying to get this issue resolved. SOMEBODY needs to do something. I am about to report them to the FTC, The FCPA, whomever I need to cause now its just the freaking point behind it! Western Union SUCKSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have been waiting over 9 months for a refund

The most ridiculous clandestine operation. I honestly believe this place is probably a front for a drug cartel or another type of criminal organization. It is a conundrum wrapped in an enigma!The worst part is that they are the only game in town!

I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I bought a computer from HP and had it debited to my WU card which I bought for that specific purpose (there was an approximate $65 balance remaining after the charge.) HP's computers messed up so they had to refund my money to my WU card (which HP did immediately) and rebill for the computerI bought. That's been over a week ago and the refund has yet to be put back on my card -- and consequently HP can't rebill me for or ship the computer. As of today WU has had the use of over $400 of my money and they seem to have no idea where it is. Consumers beware -- this group of folks do not have their act together. If it takes a week to credit money back to a card (they're drawing good interest on that money while it's in limbo) there's something dishonest about Western Union. I've talked and emailed everyone I can -- all I've gotten is the run-around and no one (NO ONE) at Western Union has any idea where my money went! BUYER BEWARE, BEWARE!
