After reading all the reviews... I can honestly say we have experienced what the above customers have. We bought our sofa and loveseat in February of 2010 and by December of the same year we needed to exchange them both. The frames had broken down and made horrible cracking sounds. After getting the run around by the service department stating that this was not a warranty issue, we finally were told that it would be considered a service exchange and needed to go to the store. We found a sectional that was a floor model, of course it was a little more than what we paid for the previous set, so we went ahead and financed the difference. We had a delivery date set up and they never showed. We called and they had to reschedule. They also told us they would not take the old furniture and we had to take it the warehouse ourselves. After arguing with them, they took it.The kicker was that our warranty was to roll over to the new furniture, ha... They charged us again for a warranty and then tried to deny it for 3 months. We finally received a refund and no apology. Everytime I would request a print off of our account transactions I would never receive one as promised. Never again will I buy from them!

Grand Furniture is the worst company I have ever dealt with,I spoke with a supervisor Teresa Payne and Tywandria Boggs. Speaking with the supervisor was the worse experience she hung up on me and says she do the garnishment without listening to what I had to say. And the rep was the worst I have seen these females in person and the appearance is no different from the bad phone etiquette. Its alot of people that deserve a job and these two are the prime example of the ones that don't. GRAND FURNITURE WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS ANYMORE.

I have been with grand furniture for over 20 years and have paid them off twice. Now do to economical crisis GRAND FURNITURE want to take away my furniture because my daughter has had and will have had heart surgery. The account representatives will not understand nor work with us they want to repossess items that we have been paying on for 7 years and near completion. We call our representative to explain way we are one month behind in our obligation to the company, however, every call is met with venomous loathing. I feel that the representative refuse to understand our economical crisis , nor are they able to address their customers with respect. Sure this mistreatment continue I will have to seek a higher authority. I feel this company should retrain the service people THEY HAVE NO PEOPLE SKILLS.

I was behind a month and a half and they issued a summons for garnishment in 12/10, luckly I changed jobs before it took effect. But in the mean time I paid up my bill and recently fell behind a month, I kept in contact with them to keep them up to date on my current situation and made every effort to pay on my bill. They resubmitted the judgement from 12/10 and now I have a garnishment for $1276 more than the actual amount I owe!

Don't ever buy furniture or anything from grand unless u pay cash for it but even then I wouldn't! Very rude customer service! I was one week late on a payment and they sent we a warrant for debt! What kind of crap is that?

I wouldn't recommend Grand Furniture either! I was issued a refund due to overpayment and I put in an address change because I no longer lived there. They sent the check to the old address anyway and told me that I had to wait 30 days after it was sent out to be reissued another one. It's been 30 days and they had the nerve to tell me that I would have to pay a $35 stop payment fee in order to be reissued a new check. Huh!!!! Are you kidding me! You wnat me to pay for your mistake. I requested to speak to the person who was giving them that information and I was told that they don't speak to the customers. Poor customer service is an understatement. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau too!

This is the worst place ever to conduct any type of business with. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GRAND FURNITURE. I received a letter stating that I owe $416.71, when the balance is only $120.38. The representative stated that when she receives the $120.38 the other $290.33 will disappear. What type of business ethics is this? The representatives are too rude, uneducated, unprofessional and ignorant to be working in any professional establishment as such. You can assume the color of the workers by the attitude being displayed (enough said). No to mention that I had to be transferred four times before anyone answered the phone and could assist me. I contacted the corporate office lets see how long it takes for someone to return my call. Just a heads up if you are looking for furniture go to the thrift store I am for certain that it will last longer if you get it from there. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau in regards to this matter. To the owners of Grand Furniture you need to be aware of the people that you hire. I can forsee you going out of business if this type of behavior is not controlled.

I order a bedroom suite, sofa, and dining rooms table from the two weeks ago, and still have not received it. I was told that it would take 7-10 days to come in. Then today i was told it would not be in for another month and that was only my bed. They don't have a clue when my table an sofa will be in. I asked for corporate number and they said there was none for them to give me. I don't understand this place. I should have known because i have heard horrible thing about this place from four different people i know.

As I type this I'm on hold with Grand Furniture trying to pay off my remaining balance and been transferred twice and on hold for about 25mins already... Dont they want their money or are they trying to make it difficult once again so I would have to pay another late fee? Last month when I tried to make a payment the customer service was so unprofessional and the lady was extremely rude that when I asked to talk to someone else she said to not call here again and hung up on me. Of course I called back and talked to someone else and asked for a supervisor and this different lady told me they were unavailable. 30mins and still on hold! I will never go to Grand again and will let others know of their poor service!

We just purchased a TV from Grand Furniture and have only had it 6 days and my husband does not like the picture quality on it and we just wanted to exchange it for another one same exact price and they told me once you take it home and open it, it is a used item and will not exchange. That is a bunch of BS. I will be calling corporate office and raise a big to do over this.

I am going through some crap now with Grand Furniture. I do not recommend them to anyone! They have some of my money and it has been hard to get it back. I just called the corporate office and of course they are closed. So hopefully one day I will get my money but I would NEVER buy another couch from them again.

Yeah Grand Furniture is like going to The Auto Connection to get a car. I had issues with them as well. I purchased my furniture and was pissed to see that i had a bed and a mattress but no support beams. i was missing my chester and my mirror to my bed room set. the furniture was in good condition however the scraped my bed room set a couple times. What I did was emailed headquarters about my experience within 5 minutes I had the general manager calling my personal phonre apologizing. Unfortunate was my experience but the result was worth it.

Grand furniture is the worst place I've ever gotten furniture from. In the first week we had our couch and love seat set, my husband sat down and broke the board in the couch. He's not a big man, either. It took over THREE months for them to agree to fix it. I had a hell of a time getting them to even come and get it, and the run around for the insurance we bought on the couch set was the most stressful thing I've ever been through. In my opinion, if you have insurance, you have insurance. Also, when they finally did come get our set we were left for almost a month with nothing to sit on. They do not offer a rental set for you to use while yours is gone. The people who answer the phones are ghetto and rude. And that's when you can get them to answer the phones. My average hold time TO PAY MY BILL is about twenty minutes. I also had a lady run my debit card twice in one month, not because I asked her to, but because she was ignorant. I can't wait to have this paid off and we will NEVER EVER go there again. We were new to the area when we went there, it was the only place we could find. I sure wish we would waited a while and searched around. If you're looking for furniture, I'd get it from the side of the road or a dump before I'd go there.
