Last weekend I went to shop at a D S W shoe store in Palm Desert, Ca. Not one of the sales people, including the manager asked me or anyone else if they could be of any assistance. To make matters more interesting every employee in that particular branch, including the manager looked annoyed or angry. Not one smile. Not one hello. Today, my daughter phoned a D S W shoe store near her area in Irvine, Ca. She spoke to two different people at the same store, and found them both to be rude. She called to see if they had a pair of shoes in her size. The first person she talked to put her on hold to go supposedly look. Then someone else got on the phone and asked my daughter if she was being helped. She responded with, someone is looking for a certain size of shoe for me. the salesperson replied, "oh, we don't have that size". she asked how do you know, you didn't ask me what I needed. He responded, I just know. Wow! how does this shoe store expect to stay in business with people of this demeanor working for you.
