Today I arrived home from a mini vacation for a break. I had booked my room back in August2012 for a room at Country Inn and Suites in Harrisburg Pa. Upon my arrival I was informed that the hotel no longer allowed smoking in the hotel, which is fine.But i would of liked a call to inform me of this so I could of booked somewhere else. I was told by the supervisor that I could smoke in the stair way since i was booked on the top floor. My room still smelled of cigaretts. I did go outside to smoke. The outdoors only had 3 chairs to sit and relax and no ashtrays to be found. Some of the staff was uninformed of the wyfi and had no idea how to fix the problem they were having, I was not the only one to complain about this. I will not stay again at a Country Inn and Suites. The rooms also called for a frig and microwave in every room which we did not have. I work hard to enjoy myself on vacation and to pay over $300. for a weekend stay at this hotel I was not HAPPY.
