My husband and my In-laws decided to go to CPK In Ventura, CA we had not been there in Years and it was my in-laws first time! All of us ordered Club sandwiches, but my in-laws asked for their bread to be warm! the waiter says oh no let me see if they can warm it up for you? so we wait and she comes back and says yes we will be right back with your plate.. When the waiter came back with 2 club sandwiches the bread was so STALE that they were not able to take bites off the sandwich..literally! i am not sure what they did to the bread.. any who, so we asked to speak to a manager and he said " im sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your meal i will go ahead and take it off of your check takes both sandwich plates and does not offer to replace the meals!!!!!!! ARE you kidding me... We were so disappointed! We will never go back to any of the CPK!

Went to California Pizza Kitchen with my husband lastnight (8/30/12. It had been sometime since I had been to this establishment, possibly over 5yrs. Anyway the place was not busy, and the host proceeded to walk us to the back area and I told the host I did not want to sit their, then he seated us by the kitchen. I was not thrilled, but I just sat down with my husband and dealt with it. However, next was the smell of old damp cloth..I think it was what was used to wipe the table. Then I lead over onto the wall next to me only to notice an infestation of food bugs mites..not sure all over the wall and flying over and around my husband. Called the waiter over and pointed to the wall, and he said I will move you. So we moved to the other side of the dinning area, and continued to see those bugs pretty much everywhere. Then to add to that I had the pizza Margarita, the crust was limp and the cheese did not even look melted. So needless to say we both took a few bites of our meals, paid bill, my husband wrote a note on the bill about the bug issue and left not wanting to return again, and very disappointed.

Please bring back the Shrimp Miso salad!! Not happy with the change! :(

Who is the general manager at this place? OR is there even one? I've met Andrew who also happens to be a server that my wife and I love to have when we frequent there. Anytime we've ever had a problem and have asked to speak to the manager, we've gotten either Andrew or another man that must be a "shift leader" (I happen to work in a restaurant as well, so I know the difference between general managers and shift leaders.) This place seems to be run backwards, and I have also noticed that a lot of friends and family work together. Keep up the poor work Westbury! Get rid of the management and maybe the place will be a better dining experience. All of the server there seem miserable and the stems from management.

I recently visited CPK in Westbury. The service was terrible & when I asked to speak to a manager a server came to the table. When I asked that server where the manager was he told me that Shaneika stepped out to pick up her daughter. As I was eating my meal the manager returned to the restaurant with her daughter, sat at a table and began to eat. No one informed her that i was not satisfied. This location could use better management.

The last couple of times that we have been to the Annapolis, md location there has always been something wrong with the kitchen equipment and we couldn't order what we wanted. Last year the pizza cutter was broken right after the remodel and they were serving weird shaped pizza and today the deep fryer didn't work. How can a pizza place just have one pizza cutter for the entire restaurant???

For several years I have been a regular customer at CPK in NYC. The waiters are good and so is most of the food. However, I met a friend there this week and we could barely hear each other because the music was so loud.I politely asked if the volume could be turned down. The answer was that the machine was preset. I asked to speak to the manager,JUSTIN PARRAS-REGIONAL 12 TRAINING MANAGER, who said the same thing. I responded with,"But I'm sure you can reset it".He responded by saying,"I don't want to!" And that was that! So much for cpk. If you choose not to answer this, it will prove that you care not at all about customer satisfaction From the other complaints I've read, you don't respond. Consumers have long memories and currently many co's are failing. It might be in your best interest to be more courteous and responsive.

Hello! Tried calling corporate for a very important matter but it seems there is no one to get a hold of? I just wanted to bring it to your attention that on 6/2/2012 there was suspicious activity at the Cpk in Hollywood. My buddies and I were in the area and saw teenagers and others around the restaurant. I thought it was a bit strange since it was so late and I was positive they were closed but when I checked the door it was unlocked. This restaurant could have easily been robbed as it was a Saturday night and there are many people still up late in the Hollywood area. Just thought you should know and to make sure the manager is locking up before he or she leaves.

Just wanted to inform you that the Cpk in Hollywood was open late at night. In other words, door was unlocked and store was closed. Just thought you should know. This was on June 2, 2012. Maybe managers should lock up before they leave. Thanks!

I don't think managers are locking up the store in Hollywood . A couple of Saturday nights around 3pm the door has been unlocked. Just recently on 6/2 the door was unlocked and a bunch of teenagers were ganging aroun the restaurant. I know this because I work in the mall. Who ever is responsible needs to remember to lock door. This is just horrible for the restaurant to have managers who just don't care or are careless. Good luck!

I have contacted CPK twice via e-mail and tried to call the corporate office multiple times only to get recordings. I have a consumer complaint and find their lack of responsiveness offensive. Until I hear back from CPK, I will take my consumer dollars to their competitors. I recommend others do the same.

food is good, service was beyond terrible at the cpk at the pike shopping center in long beach, ca the manager "alfonso" said more then a couple perverted remarks around my wife and kids, one of the waiters "scott" language was so offensive i asked him myself to at least stop saying such words around my family, i tried calling the corp office keep getting voicemails, as would be expected from a company who is ok with hiring absolute idiots, druggies, and perverts to work/run their establishments, unbelievable how such poor judgement could go into selecting the staff that represents your company and your image, when your waiters are wiping their nose with their hand in the open then smearing it on their uniform, then handling peoples food, with the atmosphere that they have created at this specific location, i think it deserves a health code check personally, very disappointed that management team at the pike needs to be upgraded, along with most the staff, im flat out embarrassed that i took my family out for a nice meal, and what we got was pure trash from your company.

They advertise gluten free options but cross contamination is a huge problem for those who suffer from gluten sensitivity or Celiac Disease. I became really sick after eating there off of their gluten free menu. My doctor said your food had to have been cross contaminated with gluten whether it's the flour in the air or what-not. I hope they are able to either set up a separate prep and cook area for GF Foods or just take off the GF options off their menu. Trust me it's just not worth risking anyone's health to bring customers in. :(

California pizza kitchen is good and have a great pizza that blows you away. but they have the largest pizza compared to pizza hut and papa johns.

They are charging tax on COLD food to go, when is is ONLY LEGAL to charge tax on HOT food to go! :(

The problem I had that I think your company needs to hire MORE employees like Toni,and Sara Anne.I found that Toni had 5 Star***** customer service when it came to helping me.Toni always remembers my name which really makes me feel special and means alot to me.Toni is always fast and accurate with my order,very warm and friendly,and I did not feel rushed the entire time I was there.When it came to Sara Anne,I know she only does take-out orders but I noticed that she always had a smile on her face with the customers,always double checked to make sure the order was correct and she remember the names of her regular customers that with in itself deserves 5 star *****. These two ladies are what CPK should strive for in all of there employees,and I feel that you should have Toni,and Sara Anne go around to all of your CPK not just in LA but everywhere that customer service need improvement and evaluate and train all of your employees who are out on the floor so that all of your customers can have the same experience that I have when I am at your CPK.believe me there are many of your locations that need work. I have been to me share of them.

I have been to the California Pizza Kitchen in Baltimore Maryland and Louisville Kentucky. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Is there any way to open a location in Versailles Kentucky? We are starving for some change in the neighborhood!!
