I was at Acme in Kent today. In produce they trim the vegetables. I asked if I could have the trimmings they were trimming and putting in trash can for pot belly pigs. Was told they use to be able to do that but Corporate says no now they have to go in compactor. There is even a local farm animal rescue that would greatly benefit from those clippings. I wanted them for a friend who is buying a home, single, one income, and has 6 rescued pot belly pigs. What is wrong giving their trash to a customer who has for some?
