Dollar General Corporate Office & Headquarters

Hi my name is Laverne and I love dollar general. I lived in Oklahoma for 20 yrs and found DG always has what I need. I worked for DG for a year and a half, and my daughter did also( we had two stores in our town) anyway 1 1/2 yrs ago I moved back to Redding Ca and discovered redding doesn't have DG. I was crushed!! It is a sad affair when a frequent customer has to deal with thissilly show an ID to purchase a pack of cigarettes when their age is obvilous. Apparently these stores are hiring people who don't have the capacity to tell their -- from a hole in the ground if they must ask a middle-age person for a ID every time......great trust in your employee people.

Dollar General in Water Valley,Ms is so trashy and unprofessional. The manager would rather gossip and talk on the phone instead of clean or put stuff on the shelves where they go! There are stains on the floor that have been there over two months. I can never use a cart because the isles are flooded with items that are supposed to be on the shelves. It seriously looks like they dont care one bit. Its very hazardous. They only have one person working a cash register and it takes me twenty minutes in line every single time i go in. I have takenpictures and if i could post them i would! Its beyond disgusting.

I just went into a dollar general in Frostproof, FL. I spent 2 hours cutting coupons and then another hour trying to match them up with the clearance items in the store. As i was checking out the manager said, those items arent on clearance any more. I said "the sign is still up." and she had to go and check then she came back with the worse attitude and said FINE! so then she wouldnt even let me use all of my coupons and said that coupons were never allowed on clearance. I spent way more than i should have and i am furious.

Terrible manager I was the Weyers cave Virginia store and heard a man putting down all his employees. He said to someone that when he got back from his vacation he was going to clean house. I have been in this store a few times and the days that this man works the store looks horrible. It seems like all he does is throw stuff everywhere then gets other people to pick up after him. When he is not there the store is always cleaner. If he is the manager you may want to rethink on keeping him.

The store manager in ball , la has banned my son and I form dollar general. She does not know me and now can't take my son for a walk because she says he throws toys every where . He's four years old. What is this country coming to! You can't walk to buy something in a store because you have a kid !! Please something is wrong with this!! The ball police officer had to be the one to tell me! Help please! What can I do!

I was recently in the DG store in Des Arc, Arkansas and was appalled at the Disarray of this store. Merchandise was stacked in the isles and access to the shelves was impossible. Items were scattered on floor and difficult to utilize carts. It's more like a junk store and not a place I plan to return.

I used to shop at the Dry Prong, LA, Dollar Store all the time. They just changed management. The manager is a 22 year old girl who doesn't care how the store looks or if it is even stocked. She is rude and is only interested in hanging out with the other employees. They are always in the back, and you have to go find someone to check you out. I will no longer be shopping in this store.

West Newton, Pa store has very excellent workers. Unfortunately, corporate does not seem concerned about its store facility, workers or the community. The 2.0 rating clearly proves this. Stockholders and corporate will in time have sucked out the last bit of profit from their stores leaving nothing but customers who have no other options for purchasing their needs. I have done surveys about the bad conditions of the floors, stores so hot, I hurry to finish. Other complaints but probably a waste of time to mention. You can only ignore the problems so long until they get so bad, it is not financially possible to turn the stores around. We need our store (small community), and appreciate having it. Please care enough to address some of these problems. Your customers will stay, you will be able to keep good help and the company can become more profitable. Would like to contact Dollar General regarding a Donna at their #09069 store. Everytime, which is often, I am in this store, this lady has the most positive attitude and excellent work ethics. She is always on the go --- stocking, helping customers or busy at the register. She always wears and smile and is very pleasant. Dollar General Human Resource, congrats, you hired a winner. The insides of the DG stores located at NW 50th & Meridian in Oklahoma City and at NW 36th & MacArthur in Warr Acres both look like they were struck by storms inside! There is merchandise strewn everywhere, trash on the floors, stacks of unopened boxes blocking many aisles, half-eaten food items on shelves, etc. This has been an on-going problem at both locations so I'm switching to Family Dollar.

The Caseville Dollar General has some out standing employees. Unfortunately, have been working with no bathroom facilities or running water for the past week. The smell when entering the builiding is overwhelming at times as it reaks of sewage. These employees work very hard and should not have to work under these unsanitary conditions. Some of them are required to work 8 to 10 hour shifts. Please help this store out as it is a great asset to this community and will unfortunately lose business if this continues.

The air conditioner has been out in this store for about 6 weeks now. Those poor employees are suffering and they keep closing the store because they can't work. I will stop shopping here if something doesn't happen soon. It is too hot in Texas to put up with this. Not to mention customers getting sick in the store from the heat. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!!

The Dollar General in MidwestCity Oklahoma is by far the most disgusting estblishment I have ever been in!!! Shelves are not stocked because the aisles are crammed with merchandise that should be on the shelves. Everyone is to busy hanging in the back or smoking in the parking lot!! I will find a new place to shop as will most of my friends who live in this area. It certainly won't be a DOLLAR GENERAL.!!

May I suggest that you send your reduced penny items to Moore County Oklahoma for the people that have lost everything. It's my understanding that a lot of this get cut up or thrown away this is one way to help your community. Thanks

My sons first job was hired by Dollar General in Phenix City Al. Hwy 431. He was told what to wear we went and got him pants and shrits to wear to work. Manager gave him a start date and time to be at work. We took him to work and he called us 30 min later and said come get me the Manager did not do the paper work. It's been three weeks now he has called and the manager will not return his call and she is never in. Come on people can this really happen that someone like this is in charge of a store. says alot about Doller General.

The manager was extremely nasty and short tempered. She acted as if the customers were bothering her when they asked for a product. I sugested that the store put aisle numbers and product info at every aisl. She said that Dollar Generl did'nt care. I put my products down and left the store. Her name was Tracie.

Store 12127 In Weslaco, TX needs to have its managment to be investigated. Since working there there have been 4 employees who have quit their job due, to the Supervisor not respecting them. Poor management skills and violation of DG policies by not having fully trained employees on staff or new employees even trained on day one, two and three of CBL. I quit there myself after being stressed out and being lied to.

The West Fork, AR location has an animal abuiser (felony charges) working there. I don't agree. Other people could use that job instead of her.

And i do have this to say as well i worked in the store for CARROLLTON KENTUCKY and the manager was also rude to the customers they would cuss him out and he would laugh about it he didnt know how to do EBT card or do his job and even i as a customer thoought the store was a mess when i would go in on my off days to see what they have done and it was a mess stuff laying all over the floors racks u-boats toys just sad but i think its the DM as well he came into that store and knew that the manager wasnt doing a good job and still knows this today but yet i get fired and my cashier quit cause of the management nothing else
