i was in one of your stores near Locust street,yesterday and wanted to go use the bathroom,it was lock,and i ask one of the employees if it need a key to use it.she told me they do not allow customers to use it.i think if a customer can use the bathroom,why shop there at all.i hope you change the policy,i think its part of doing buissness with yous.thank you! For the past three weeks my neighborhood Dollar General has been without air conditioning. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Imagine my surprise when I returned to the store on yesterday and the air was still not working. Imagine the workers in this store every day, mind you Baton Rouge has temperatures close to 100 degrees daily. I could not imagine working in such conditions. No manager was in sight, of course I wanted to state my concerns. I know a manager would not dare work in such intolerable conditions. What is the deal? Do you not care that your employees are not happy with working conditions and your customers are extremely unhappy. The only reason that I go to that store is because of the convenience near my home. I will not shop at that store until the air is working and I will encourage others to follow suit. Store #1012

My husband and I were driving down Hwy 56 just east of downtown Honey Grove Tx just about 1:30 pm minutes ago. A Dollar General truck driver stopped in the center lane giving no sign of what his intentions were other than a blinker to turn. The he starts to turn with us driving past him. . He then yells something off color at us as we pass. He was a frail looking guy with a regular haircut and wearing glasses. Yesterday I planned on buying a few items at Dollar General. Being in a power chair shopping in not easy, there are no power doors, the right front isle is blocked with a metal stall for shopping carts, and there is no way to get up the isle. This stores layout should be planned better. I'm not going back.

This was my first visit to our very own Hwy 322 Rock Hill community Dollar General, O my God both trash cans outside at the entry were over flowing w/garbage spelling onto the concrete. This created a terrible odor, the brand new parking lot was horrible w/trash. Inside I felt I stepped into a large dumpster, smell, dirt, junk, and trash was all over the floors. Two employees in sight, not one greeting or helped until I asked were are your plastic step stools. This store is a shame to our Bethel/Rock Hill, SC community located on Hwy 322 toward McConnells SC, its so new you can't even google it! What a disgrace and shame to our lovely country community. Don't you care???

i go to the store in perryopolis pa when the store first opened was great since they remodeled the aisle are never clear and the manager there is so nasty to her employees and customers cant believe she is still there . i returned something only to have her throw the product i was buying in its place at me.wont be back

I'm so tired of going to the Dollar General in Nederland, Texas! EVERY TIME I stop to shop at that store you cannot get down the isle's because the MERCHANDISE IS STILL IN BOXES! And the shelves are EMPTY!!! The first couple of times I thought they must have been really busy and are now trying to re-stock their shelves. But it's like that EVERY TIME I go to shop there!!! There were other people trying to shop like me and were mad! This made up my mind, I will shop at the Family Dollar Store!

I just love how everytime u go in DG u have to wait in a long line just to check out. Yall just remodeled with more registers what since does that make when u only have 1 register open. Yes in the little town of Gramercy, LA. Oh and I was just in there this morning, long line and manager checked out someone that worked there then closed the register how really disgusting that is. Yall really need to do something about this cause its really ridiculous.

I was at one of the locations in Miami, fl . 103rd and 7th avenue to be exact. And this store has to be the worse ever. The cashiers are so ghetto with nasty attitudes, the store never has items in stock and the lines are super long. I waited in the line for more than 10 minutes waiting on a slow cashier who was "training". not to mention that there was 5 employees on the clock walking around ignoring the customers. Customer satisfaction should always be 1st. Management sucks. it's always some one new. If I can rate this negative million I would!!

I was in your store in Carthage MS. on June 20 2013, and that has got to be the trashiest store of any store I have ever been in. nothing was clean, nothing is organized,cobwebs and dust about 2 inches thick, and as far as organization,they had cookies and crackers on the same shelf as the shampoo, it was like that in the entire store. I hope someone does something about this.

I work at the one in warner ok and I'm am embarrassed by the way I'm being treated not to mention the customers that come in there. It's sad to read all these complaints and no ones doing anything about it. One thing I can promise you, the warner store most definitely needs new management. It's just not right...

on 6/19, went to a Dollar General Store which is under construction, and was waiting in line. The next thing you know the ceiling tile fell hit me in the face and hit my pregnant daughter which scared both of us. The manager completed an accident report and said someone would call me within 24 hours. Surprise that didn't happen. And you wonder why people file law reports? It truely saddens me to think a small community store would lack the compassion and make a simple follow up call. Not happy in small town NY.

How excited were we to get a brand new Dollar General in our small town not too long ago. It was so great at first. Now I refuse to go in there and will drive 15 miles a different direction to go somewhere else. It went from nice and clean, happy workers and organized shelfs.......and NOW.....dirty, disorganized, can't get down the aisles because of crap everywhere. Workers and even management clearly hate their life.

I am saddened to say that Dollar General has lost my business. I will not shop at your store any more. I made a complaint on June 1, 2013, have made literally 4-6 calls, and still have not received a response from this business. I was told that the District Manager and Regional Manager had been notified and no response from either of them. That is ridiculous for a dissatisfied customer to go almost 2.5 weeks without a response. Is this how you handle your customers??? I am appauled and at this point very disgusted with your business. I will not step foot in another!!!!! That's a promise....

Store #4597 Holdrege, Ne.....I love dollar general for its low prices and convenience, but wow the people that work there suck! Half the time you go in there to check out and no one is around. You have to yell or go find someone. And then other times you have a line half way down the store and only 1 checker! Something needs to be done! Especially when the new store opens! I want to keep patronizing them, but I will take my business else where if it doesn't! Please help them!

My girlfriend works at your store. she works her hours that she is scheduled to work plus more. Her manager is scheduled to work 45hrs a week but yet only works 27 or less she also doesn't do her job when she works always talks to her husband on the phone or sits In the back with him I think it is not right. She has been turned into her DM and she hasn't done nothing. If u go back threw the video security u will see that she leave 4 to 5 hrs early.

The DG in Shannon Hills, AR has no AC for over a week and the employees say the property owner won't fix it. This a crazy busy store that the community supports. Incoming revenue is certainly not an issue here. We love the employees and shop there several times a week. It's our little wal-mart. The employees deserve acceptable working conditions and customers won't stand for sweating while shopping. We have options. Get the AC working.

My wife has worked for your store in cocoa for 2 years. She is the least paid and performs beyond her duties. Any girl walking in makes more than her. Why? Also the new manager had her work 8pm to 8am with only a thirty minute break. And asked her to come back at 1pm. Is that legal? She has children to be with. She didn't sign up for these type of hours. The new manager is rude and disrespectful. Seems only your lower workers are nice. I've read every review. FIX THIS!

I love Dollar General. Our store in Boonville, NC burned down & they rebuilt it bigger & better. Good prices, good quality. The service is sometimes lacking but I'm sure their working on that. I will continue to shop there. :-D

The store at 6343 N. MacArthur in Oklahoma city is one trash pit inside and out.I spoke with the MGR about all the trash always in front of the store and on their curb. He said they clean out front everyday. That was a bold face lie. I have seen the same trash laying there for months. It makes me feel like I am doing to the dump. Well not any more. From now, on its DOLLAR TREE FOR ME !
