I decided to get U-verse internet & TV. My installation date was set and I took off from work so I could be home. I even canceled my current cable company. When I called to see if the installation was going to be on time I was told they didn't even have a work order for me.Then they found one and decided to change the installation date without calling or emailing me this change. I called and talked to a supervisor who hung up on me when I asked them to please honer the commitment they made to me for the date they set when I ordered the service. I was on the phone on & off for two hours trying to get answers. They finally told me sorry they can't come on the date they promised. What poor customer service and untrained service reps. I am going to cancel this order and I'm going to close my AT&T phone service and call Verizon. The fact that I have to miss a day of work and I can't afford to take another day off for awhile didn't matter to them and they don't seem to give a shit about me as a good paying customer. I gave them a chance to correct this and they told me in a sarcastic voice "SORRY" ....well I'm sorry your company won't see any of my MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i switched to att a year ago and its been a problem sins the sale guy quoted a price of 163.99 a mounth for u verse honme phone internet and cell phone this is not what i got i have to pay 105 for uvers home and internet and 140 for cell phone it was soposed to cobined billing to well it was not every time i called i got the run around no one at att can look at all your accounts at one time they trasfer u min hold time 30 min i have been on hold for more than 24 hours my time is valuble to i have asked them to lisen to orignal sale call to prove me right well good luck on that lol so to att go ahead sue me you owe 900 bucks plus 480 bucks for being on hold or so long and all i wanted is for u to honer your contract with me

AT&T GO PHONE CUSTOMER SERVICES: 1. Customer pays for a rate plan that is automatically deducted monthly from their bank account 2. Customer expects phone service to work 3. AT&T take the money and deactivate cell phone services 4. Customer spend two or more hours pushing button on the phone to get a freaking human begin from AT&T customer services.. never reaches a human being 5. Customer get piss off 6. Customer fine a new cell phone company 7. Customer has their Bank retrieve their money back for not receiving services AT&T LOST CUSTOMER THAT HAD CONTINUALLY PAID FOR SERVICES, APPARENTLY AT&T WANTS TO CREATE A FINANCIAL LOSS, SO THEY SCREW THE INVESTOR THAT BUY THEIR STOCK.

If no stars were an option I would have choosen that. I switched to at&t back in March. They started off by overcharing my account $150. When I called it was a Saturday and was flat out told that it was the weekend and that the "customer care" department was closed because they have things to do on the weekend. On Monday I called back and was told that I must have heard the wrong amount when I set up my accounts because they don't make those kinds of mistakes, after over an hour, they decided to refund half off the money, still waiting on that. My bill has never been correct, was told that for phone and internet it would be $72, yet my bill has never been less than $130. Noone at customer service can tell me why or correct the problem. The internet service is crap. I have to reset the modem several times daily and reinstall everything on my computer at least 3 times a week. Tried calling to switch the modem out and can never get in contact with that department. Tried finding a way to contact the corporate office on att.com and there is nothing for a corporate office. When I typed in corporate office in the search box it came up and showed me a pic of a cell phone.... this is the poorest excuse for a company I have ever heard off. I will never refer them and as soon as my contract is up im done. I've actually thought about just cancelling now and paying whatever charges just to get away from them and get to a company that actual cares for there customers.

If you do not like AT&T then why nag about it? Just go ahead and switch provider.

I don't know why most of you are blaming the company (AT&T). Ask yourselves this. - Did you pay your bill on time? - Did you read the terms and conditions before you signed up? - Do you go over your bill before you call customer service? - Did you try to reboot your box before calling technical support? - If you don't like talking to CSR's outside United States then figure everything out on your own. - Problem with us americans, we are spoiled. we want everything done now!now!now! - May it be time warner, AT&T, Sprint or other provider. They all have flaws because technology is not perfect just like us HUMANS.

Did you know ATT and ATT Uverse are two separate companies. I switched my home phone and internet from ATT to ATT Uverse back in June. I get a bill in July, paid it by phone and then their computer system tells me I have two accounts. HUH?!?! I speak with a rep, this is where I am told that I have an internet Uverse account and a home phone ATT account. I told them they were suppose to change my home phone to Uverse as well back in June. This whole process took hours, so I told the guy I would call back and deal with the billing. I call back and now I am told that I can not get a comp for the extra money I paid for the month of June and part of July for the home phone service. So I ask to speak to a manager. Well I am still on hold for a manager now for almost an hour. I know this 'manager' isn't going to pick up, but I wish he/she would so I could get their name and report there butt. I have stuck in a contract, assholes, again, but in a year I will boycott this damn company for the rest of my life.

Please stop the door to door crap! I don't want U-verse and the sale people that come at least once a week after 6pm are crazy! Who do I need to talk to make it stop?!?!?

Don't bother calling ATT corporate offices, its a loophole, everything goes back to the main menu or to a busy signal. ATT is a SCAM!

Dear At&t, Your internet service is absolutely the worst service we have ever been "FORCED" to subscribe to. Your e-mail srvice is "Last Class". Your system delivers thousands of e-mails to my spam box and do not even contain my e-mail address. If the postal service worked this well, I would either get no mail at all or everybody's mail in the world. Do any of you people use the services you sell? Please lt me know what e-mail service your corporate big wigs use so that I can get rid of AT&T and get something that works. You are typical of Fly By Night businesses that are great at pushing their products but fall short on upgrade solutions to problems in your service. I would suggest that either you write your e-mail programs to deliver the proper e-mail to the right persons account or get out of the business. A customer who's looking to "Fire Your Ass.

I am having issues right now with the billing department. On July 19th I called and paid my old account $96. Then set up a new account for $100. Aubrey in customer service waived some fees and told me I would get a card back with the 100 on it...Well he ran my check through and said it didn't take so he ran it through a second time told me the amount would be $198.00. The next day I look at my Chase account and they took out $298.00. I called on July 20th and they told me it takes 72 hours and I should call back. I called numerous times after that.I was told today on 7/31 that it was past too many days to get it back..I am so irate right now I am seriously going to contact BBB and my state utility regulator agency in Indiana regarding this...I told them this is not a buisness who treats their customers with respect...I am seriously going to cancel my service.I know to some 100 bucks is nothing but it is to my family...IF anyone can help me by giving me some ideas what to do please let me know....

I would give AT&T -5 Stars if I could. Get this one! my son is in the Air Force in Georgia and has been deployed, him and his wife and kids live on base on base housing, they have been there over a year now and AT&T won't give them internet service so that they can keep in contact with each other while he is away. He is not allowed to use his cell phone in another country. AT&T says that they don't have enough portals to hook them up and in the past two months my daughter in law has seen 4 families across the street move out that had the internet service. What is wrong with these companies?? We send our sons and daughters to fight other countries wars and we can't even take care of them or their families. I have had it with AT&T and would give anything to drop them myself but I live in a rural area in the country and we don't get cell service where we live so we have to have a land line. My husband and I have had problems with them in the past as well and would give anything to let AT&T go.

This company deserves to be out of business they are the worst. They tell me it takes 3 to 4 billing cycles to charged the correct amount, REALLY. As Soon as my contract is up BYE BYE.

U-verse was installed in my home 7/10/12 and I was assured of a smooth transition from the previous carrier, including the porting of my home phone. The phone port was scheduled for 7/12 and then rescheduled for 7/13, 7/16, 7/30, 7/24, and finally 7/23. The phone did come on the 23rd, but I could only make outgoing calls. On the 24th, the line went dead. For now, a serviceman is to be at my house on the 30th and according to ATT, I will have a working phone. As far as I can determine, no one at ATT really cares about customer service, and that includes ATT Corporate. I’ve used over 800 minutes on my cell phone making calls to idiots, some of whom hardly speak English. Even though I got ID#’s for the people I was speaking with, being reconnected with that person was not an option and I would have to start at ground zero all over again. All ATT excels at is saying “we’re so sorry, thanks for your patience.” Maybe ATT should throw away the script everyone reads from and hire people capable of solving customer related problems. Do I for one minute think I’ll have a working phone on the 30th? Not at all because I’ve been riding the ATT crazy train since July 10th. FCC regulations require phones be ported within one day so I called the FCC. Guess what? The FCC doesn’t care either!

They came to my house did jimmy rig install didn't install how I told them I wanted I wanted everything hard wired and the line fish in the walls I told them I wanted everything that might needed to be rest put in the closet with the modem the install tec didn't do like I ask he he used wireless for t He dvr which eats up the band with and then he didn't fish the walls He put a switch in a bedroom so if I need to reset the switch I. Have ether wake one my roommates up or interrupt her when she's in middle of something I can't put on here they came out to fix the problem I thought and some retard changed the call add a tv box how does it go from fixxing a bad install to adding a tv line and box AT&T have their head so far up where the sun don't shine they can't do what is ask and they blame it on a bad switch or some other bs they like taking my 1k a month for all the stuff I have thru them but they can't get their heads out of there azz

AT&T is HORRIBLE!! They told us that U-verse was available in our area and came out to install it. This was an upgrade from their DSL modem that we had. They could NOT get it to work. Over a 3 month time frame, they still could not get it to work. This involved at least spending an hour and half to 2 hours on the phone with them every night, dozens of techs coming out to check the outside and inside lines. We tried 3 different U-verse modems. None of the them worked! And for what?? The fact is we were not in the service area for U-verse! They kept telling us our Internet Explorer was an old version and we needed to upgrade. So we did, with an AT&T Tech in our living room watching us. And guess what? When we tried to install supposedly a "newer" version, we got a message that it could not be installed because we had a newer version already on our PC. The AT&T Tech didn't know what to say. Thought for a minute and then said well, you need to change to Chrome or FireFox. I told him that didn't matter, their U-Verse still did not work!! Then they told us we must have a virus on our PC.LOL!! I just about peed myself. REALLY??!!! We just had someone qualified that checked our PC...NO VIRUSES!! We asked several times to go back to the DSL modem that they had us on. It worked! It was slower but it worked. Their response was once you change, you can't go back to DSL. At the end of the 3rd month (June 2012) we were waiting on AT&T to send another one of their Techs out..but they didn't, instead they suspended our internet service. I was so exhausted having to call them every night, getting transferred over and over and then sometimes hearing "I'm sorry that office is now closed", getting billed for U-Verse internet service that we DIDN'T HAVE because they couldn't get it to work, having to call and get credit, over and over and over. I called them and told them we were shipping their crappy product back and they could stick it up their @55! I never had such lousy customer service or received such cheap, crappy product from anyone. I wouldn't purchase a thing from AT&T ever again!!! I would advise anyone thinking about it....BEWARE!!! It's nothing but headaches and they are all dumb morons!!!

Your business, at&t is a joke first of all. Your Line Technicians are not properly trained to analyze the equipment being used,(ie, modems, gateways, ...); your different "Departments" are worse than that of the federal Government departments! Here local in Chico California they have worked on my service, what little I have been able to use but they want full and timely payments !!. Recently, as of June 18, 2012 the at&t u-verse people sent me a letter tell of their conversion from my OLD DSL Pro. service to their u-verse DSLAM/Broadband service with max download of 3Mbps which seemed great as the old DSL was at best intermittent "do to their" incompetence, negligence, ignorance, stupidity, failure to properly and effectively ADDRESS the "ISSUE(S" NEED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM(S)! These problems list from; too long of a copper wired individual service LINE to my house 27,000 feet from the source of the generated signal needed to run my internet without the signal dropping off frequently, without rerouting my service line to one that is really close( a few hundred feet); to OLD hard wired outside service lines that were not acquitted to service these new services like "DSL, DSLAM, Broadband, and U-VERSE; TO using modems that "are not designed" to function properly and last very long without failure; to sending people out, outside Line-Technicians, that do not a have or can not understand and properly set-up the "equipment/modems", filters and the like to make the customers service to WORK CORRECTLY FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME! I have called various and many many different DSL & u-verse tech. personnel on the phones 1-800-0288-2020, level one and level two(tier-2)people sales people who "CAN'T EVEN GET ME IN-TOUCH WITH THE PROPER UPPER-MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL & DEPARTMENTS" TO EVEN START TO FIND BETTER WAYS TO CORRECT AND RESOLVE NEEEEEDED ISSUES! atat installed a filter of some sort outside the house for new router. first off i had dish network installed on property they wanted noterized documentation from my landlord to come on property. I dont hold account with atat my roomate does. he has disability never has to work again but can Ihave phone I purchased in 1999 when we moved in doesnt work now phuck atat .Ihave low income status have assurence free cell phone 250 mins. a month no rollover. thank the extra terrestials GOD needless to say i cant use his fax machine to fax important docs to dss, george jepsons office connocticut fax doesnt work either how could atat come on property with out permision. lease says everyone who comes on property has to have his permission. even electrical, cl&p yankee gas phone, he also has to be present, lease not in my name this year 7/01/2012 tried to insulate house through now oppurtunities,got permissiun through landlord, 1 day before install he re negs. no insulation in walls I have pictures my roomate says i am troble maker. i am below poverty level he dosent care hes got disabilty not handy capped can still drive not blind can still work whats up wiyh waterbury everyones collecting disabilty why doesnt he use his disability to get services i dodnt think ill be living here soon madisn st
