All you people out there that has written all these complants about Walgreens have done a terrific job telling them like it REALLY is!!!! Some of your stories are really SAD. The corporate officies need to train their pharmacist that they ARE NOT GOD OR A DOCTOR. They are there to wait on their customers and not judge them or look down on them. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY???

Rude employees

I was in the Walgreens in Visalia, CA. Store #2869. 4/20/2013 @ 4:30 pm I asked the pharmancy tech if she can page an employee to open the restroom door for my 7 year old daughter to use. She told me I need to tell someone up front. There wew no customers in the pharmancy. I asked her is the pharmancy affiliated with the drug store she gave me a look like she didn't comprehend what I was telling her. I then walked over to cosmetics and asked the girl if she can open the restroom for my daughter. She got on the public address and just said crystal code 12. It seems to be a bother to these people. We are the customers the pay that Walgreens make profit to pay their salaries

No Customer Service

Two separate times I went to Walgreens in Vails Gate NY to purchase some items and when I went to the cash register to pay there is no one to assist. I was sent to another register in the beauty dept. and still waited and waited. I put all the items back that I was going to pay for and left to do my business at Rite-Aid. I will not shop at Walgreens anymore.

Pharmacy Service

My goodness, I've never read such complaints from such whiners! I have always received my prescriptions from Walgreens and have lived in 4 different cities in 2 different states. I have seldom had a problem with its service. To the contrary, I have heard customers rant and rave(sometimes indecently) at the pharmacists or pharmacy techs over errors on the part of the customer's health insurance company, which is not Walgreen's fault; remember, it's the customer's health insurance, not Walgreen's. Walgreen's has absolutely no control over whether a customer's health insurance company will or will not fill or pay for a script. The pharmacists and pharmacy techs should be treated with the same respect a customer would like in return; they're just trying to do their jobs while dealing with some very difficult customers. Are there some pharmacists and techs that have bad days and are perhaps not as kind or helpful as we would like? Of course, but give them a break and help keep your blood pressure down. Walgreens has a busy pharmacy at most stores, and some people do not understand that there are other customers waiting ahead of them who are just as desperate for their medication and deserve their proper place in line. Try to pick up your prescription on off-hours, if you can. I have been on the same medication for 20 years and there are times (very few) when my store does not have it in stock; it doesn't mean it is a lousy pharmacy but, rather, it had to fill more of that medication than usual and ran out or its own suppliers were not able to deliver as much of the medication as ordered. Walgreens has always asked me to come back while they get my medication from another store; they call when it is available, usually within 24 hours. Do I get irritated? Yes, but yelling and being verbally abusive never solves any problem. Most customers know not to wait until they run out of medication before they go to the pharmacy and demand an immediate refill (I'm not referring to those scripts that are written by the hospital which the patient needs before s/he goes home, although, again, there will usually be customers in line before the patient; it's unfortunate, but it happens). To expect miracle workers from any company is ludicrous and unfair. In this day and age, we wait in lines everywhere. And no, I do not work for Walgreens or know anyone who does. I was just very disappointed at the anger people showed on their reviews over things that were not always Walgreens part.

unsatified custmer with compaint

my husband has a scrip that they refuse to fill even though they have the medication on hand! The girl behind the counter said he shoudn't be taking this medication for so long even though my doctor prescribed it to him. Will never shop in Walgreens again.....Walgreens should be shut down for good....

Doctor called in my perscription for phenol, which is used by epileptics, I was told thre wasn't any in the store, this is a common medicine that has no generic brand, why wasn't the pharmacy stocked? this has never happened anywhere, and the price with insurance was exhorbitant.o

left with out medication for almost a week

first the girl that put my prescription in said my insurance did not cover my meds. i asked her if she put it through the insurance she said yes i left with out my meds and my friend told me to call the insurance company so I did the said they never put it in i got there and told the girl and her and the guy were laughing I am so upset that I am going to another (pharmacy) where they show respect especially for seniors like myself. your service can cause some one to die and belieave me I will sue you in a heart beat how dare these employees play with some one's health.

Walgreens Pharmacy

Please some one need to know the service Walgreens located on Lancaster and Kiest Blvd. It is a shame how the customers are treated when it comes to getting you medications and the time it take to even get your medicine. I went to drop off a prescription for my brother that had just been release from the hospital. Drop off the prescription at 5:00pm was told the prescription will be ready at 7:15 or 7:30pm. Went back to pick up the prescription and I was told they did not even had the medicine. Now here it is after 8:00pm and no medication. Someone need to check in to this. I'm sure that I am not the only one who has experience this problem.

Terrible-refuse to fill

The pharmacist refused to fill my valid prescription because she was not comfortable with it. I will never shop here again. How dare they get between a patient and doctor

Pissed-Off

I was charged for a prescription at Walgreens on my Debit/Credit card. I refuse to take the medicine, and asked if they would put the money back on my credit card. The Pharmacist said he credit it back. I just checked today to see if it had been credit back to my Visa, and it has not. The service at the Drive through is terrible, I had to wait 30 minutes before I could even pull up to the window, and after I got to the window I had another 15 to 20 minute wait. Sad, Sad, Sad,.....

You did what?!!

I just learned that Walgreens requires patient's diagnosis and treatment plan to fill out a prescription for Adderall. I was told by a pharmacist that Wallgreens "entered an agreement" with DEA to collect this data?! I am calling and writing to legislators in Massachussetts because if indeed this information is accurate, it is an egregious violation of patients' confidentiality. Lilia Feinberg, MD

Sioux city ia downtown pierce street location the pharmacists and all her pets seem to do nothing but talk bad about customers and employees when they are not around.no management skills at all and all the pets do bad but dont get in trouble good workers get written up and yelled at for being sick!

PHOTO ISSUES

have used walgreens photo for three years. the last three times, they have screwed up the photos because they DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! They ARE NOT TRAINED. The workers could care less..they are RUDE, with huge attitudes!!!!! They have told me its my fault the pictures are cropped wrong! I dont think so since I went to school for photography!!

how could an employee be allowed to use vulgar

I went into the walgreens on 11e in Greenevill TN and I have NEVER been spoken to like I was this morning at 2:10 a.m. I was trying to add money to my green dot master card and just because it does not gave a barcode on the back of it the cashier started cursing at me and when I ask for the manager he continued to call me vulgar names in front of the "shift manager"! Mr. Shift manager did not say a word to this male cashier! Well I will be back in this store one more time and that will be to talk to the store manager and then I'll explain again what happened and that they just lost a sale of $55.00 tonight and at least 2 nights a week!

pharmacist called me a lier

I was at this pharmacy on 03/15/2013 3803 S Orlando Dr Sanford at approx. 700pm to pick up a prescription that they text me and said it was ready. when I got there the pharmacist advised me they would not fill it and that i did not receive a text message that it was ready even after showing here she still said I was lying . I will never use wal-greens again there is a lot more behind this with here as well but i figure that walgreens won`t care but i have to say my peace that is unprofessional.

Abusive Pharmaist

Endlessly screwed over every month my medicine is not ready or do they have it knowing I am in at the same time every month.. Bad business which runs into thousands.

Treatment of employees

Why are your employees not given lunches? Employees are working 8 hour shifts without a lunch. They are afraid to speak out because of fear. I thought that was illegal One store in particular on Johnston street where Jill works. No I don't work for your company. The Louisiana labor board will be contacted on employee behalf.

Walgreens in Odenton, MD

Went into your new Odenton, MD store with a controlled substance since he had a toe amputated and need now. We were told we did not qualify for a script there because he did not have insurance. Let me explain this was a cash deal. Is the the way your company handles business besides the rudeness of your employees. I will not ever have a script or shop at your stores again to be treated like this. Since when does a customer have to qualify to fill a script. Actually the rating does not qualify to be rated even 1.
