Does anyone in Mechanicsburg, PA Ulta Salon customer base know what happened to Heather the hairstylist? She was very talented, with it and knowledgeable....and is no longer there. Not able to get any information as to her whereabouts, which is not surprising but unfortunate because good haircutters are as scarce as hens teeth. Please let me know if you know where she's currently working

I tried to purchase a gift card for a Christmas present and everytime I went to the store there was a line to the door. It didn't matter what day or what time, (weeks before Christmas)it was always the same. I do not have the time to wait for hours in line. After attempting to get it in person multiple times, I asked the counter clerk when was a good time to come so that I wouldn't have to sacrifice hours and hours. She said 7:00 am in the morning at opening, or 11:00 p.m. at closing. Please, it wasn't like Rob Pattinson was there. I ended up ordering the card online which was a huge mistake. It was a little card that never came. I tried to track it, but surprise there was no tracking number. Customer service said that there was no way to tell where it was and that it would probably be there in two weeks. (Well after the Holidays) Anyway, I asked to cancel the order and of course was denied. I wanted to get a refund and was told it was non-refundable. I am so disgusted with Ulta and their customer service. They don't give a crap about their customers! This was such a waste of my time and effort; I should have just gone to Sephora. They even give free samples! Ulta has no interest in keeping me as a customer, so goodbye Ulta, and hello Sephora.

I went to the Arlington, TX store on Dec 22 at 11:30 AM and there were 2 cashiers and a minimum of 40 people in line that formed all the way to the back of the store and that is not an exaggeration. That is a conservative estimate. I only saw one make up artist who was busy and couldn't help anyone and a hairdresser who was also providing a service. People were setting their stuff down and walking out!!! Poorly run and understaffed. I drove 15 minutes to a private salon to get my stuff and still saved time. It would have been a 45 minute wait at least in that line.

Mechanicsburg PA store could use some intensive customer service training. The tacky little tarts known as cashiers are snarky and snippy toward every customer that walks through the door. Their arrogant rudeness toward customers is disturbing. Will be boycotting this store for a year. Gladly will be taking my money elsewhere.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE ULTA their like best they have purfume that smells so good. they even have JUSTIN BIEBER perfume AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!! THEY HAVE like any thing you need, such as,crimpers, curleners, I think they have loshen,,,,,, WAIT THEY DO thats why I looove them so mutch.Well I guess thats it. So hope u ulta peeps read this and buy the way I'm 11.

I am sick and tired of the attitudes of most of the employees that work the registers at the Geneva, IL store. One would assume that someone is forcing them to work there and every minute is sheer torture for them. God forbid you need to make a return there. You might as well get ready to offer up your wrists for the handcuffs because they make you feel like a criminal if you would like to return something without a receipt. All I wanted was to return a Clinique product that I had a reaction to. I didn't want my money back and purchased an additional 35 bucks in product, but Ms. Store Manager, Heather, was less than pleased and very rude. Hey Ulta, Sephora is less than a couple of miles away, and they can have my money from now on. They fall over you in that store trying to make you happy. Goodbye Ulta!

I AM A SPECIALIST FOR A WELL KNOW LINE.I HAVE BEEN LENDING SUPPORT AT THE STONCREST LOCATION IN CHARLOTTE NC FOR MORE THAN A YEAR. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE PRESTIGE NOR THE STORE MANAGER.THEY WERE VERY NICE AND SUPPORTIVE OF ME.NOW THEY ARE NO LONGER THERE.NOW THERE IS A NEW PRESTIGE MANAGER AND A NEW STORE MANGER.THEY ARE TWO OF THE MOST RUDEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.THE ULTA CREW AND VENDORS COMPLAIN ABOUT NOT WANTING TO BE THERE.IT IS TERRIBLE THAT ANYONE HAS TO WORK IN THAT TYPE OF ENVIROMENT. I AM TIRED OF FEELING LIKE I AM WALKING ON EGGSSHELLS AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT BY OTHERS TOO.THERE IS A LOT OF TENSION IN THAT STORE AND I THINK CUSTOMERS FEEL THAT. THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH HELP FOR CUSTOMER SO THE VENDORS AND I HELP OUT.THE PEOPLE THERE ARE VERY SWEET. ITS TO BAD THAT THEY HAVE TO WORK UNDER THOSE TWO.

Well i worked for this company we do put customer service first i feel so sad just because of one thing you could fix you blow up into this messages. The company is just starting out and it will get there yes they hire young people may seem rude but if you had to deal with crazy people wanting free makeup you will watch for what you do. Yes the sales ad are a lil confusing but if you learn to read it says what is good for and what is not. they can color match a foundation same as any other beauty store i gone too only half the face otherwise is a make up application. some girls will do full make up why not that we love too if we are free and enjoy different skin tones,doesnt mean anytime you want to buy new makeup we will do it or if you are going out theres a fee for full makeup you can ask about eyes blushes ask to show how to apply but not a full face is silly to expect that and dont say macys does it i worked there too and does girls even sephora wont they are extra rude. we encourage people to try things more them we can count but if its seal why would you open it they have testers you are not special use the same testers. you ruin new makeup some one could had bought that i saw allot and that's why we are out of stock yes is popular and people want it . And to the lady with the nail polish its nasty to try nail colors on.get tape or a piece of paper fungus could be spread and other stuff is a health reason theres also a salon.Same for all paris hilton wanna be with your dog is make up same as food it goes on your face some people are very sensitive stop been nasty. The return policy is very well explained why cant people understand is in the old store i worked 60 days with your receipt all free gifts(only free if you keep the item duh there nothing free in life and if you exchange for same brand you keep it dont expect another) oh and obviously 80% of the product you cant expect to return and empty bottle and if you got a substitute use it waiting for your item get a full refund or come with a receipt and get a refund with no product because you threw it out it didnt work. What if you are past the 60days as the other lady well you can get a merchandise credit with your receipt no with out it you can call customer service and they can email it we are happy to exchange or give the credit. Oh and i love people when it says ultra ulta exclusive on something it doesnt mean 4years later after heavy use and not caring for and item you can return it means you bought a special edition item only at ulta and that policy of 60days only still applies there a warranty still in the package for you to send and cover depending on the item a year or up to 3. Salon wise i really wont excuse them they do double book people add on services they get picky they estimate a time. does late customers please if you see you are getting close to eight ask how much longer if you are truly unhappy please say it and ask for it to be fix there's a manager maybe they cant answer yes tomorrow certain time but they will help you. I saw a couple customers with issues either too high expectations didn't bother asking if the price still applied due to their level im very aware of different level stylist that's why when you see an offer you ask. When they call you to confirm please assure is your stylist not just assume people quit or leave they find better jobs or move not much a manager can do. Yes policy wise you cant give where they went is personal we dont know who you are or she left because you threaten her

Ulta is a pain in my ass with all their unsolicited emails. Every single day I receive an email advertising their crap. I have never shopped their and absolutely will not now, even if they were the last store on earth. Somehow they got my email address and have ignored my multiple "unsubscribe requests for the last 8 weeks. I would encourage EVERYONE to not shop at this store until they cease their aggressive and unsolicited marketing campaign. Calls to their corporate office have gone on deaf ears as well. So now, I am looking into legal action to initiate against them. Its now a matter of principle and I will win one way or another.... If you have received unsolicited emails from this company I would encourage you to call their corporate office and register a complaint. Eventually they have to listen.

Every time I go in the Hammond, Louisiana Ulta, I f feel as if I am intruding on the associates who work there. Unlike Sephora, they do not encourage you to try products. In fact the makeup stations are missing mirrors and are in terrible repair for the most part. Recently, my grandchildren and I were there and one of them tried some nail polish which was in a display and a clerk came running over yelling at them that "this polish costs $30!" We are used to Sephora where you can try on items and the unopened new product is obvious. Other times, it seems as if the store help is very put upon by my presence. Also, I got one of the magazine scam subscriptions which I DID NOT sign anything to get nor did I verbally agree to take. Ulta had to give them my credit card number. Now, I am cancelling all my dealings with Ulta, including my crappy rewards card, and never going there again.

i love and enjoy going to ulta in Middletown NY THIS IS MY DISNEY. Too me and my two girls. ALisha is my hair dresser when she is done with me i swear i look like Halle Berry. i love and ejoy the fragrance the atmosphere the girls are awesome friendly actually the know us already. and they entertain us. like i said before this is our Disney. i had a huge Masquearde party. and the girls did our makeup and hair we look like we belong at the Grammy Awards the conpliments we had we felt like a princess our makeup and hair looked too perfect. My conpliments our to the girls who did our makeup and hair. but Alisha is OUTSTANDING. actually yesterday we went Christmas shopping there and free gifts. Good Job to the girls in Middletown. i have as special request if you will look at my records i misplaced my reward im at level 10 i beleive is there anyway you can e-mail my rewards i have an appt. I placed an order with this company on the web. When the total came thru which I caught 5 min after I hit submit. The had charge my order which was 30.47 + 33.90 for shipping and handling and I had only order 3 items. I called them within 10 minutes and they said they could not change the order or catch it before it went out I paid with Paypal and also called them. I have been sending e-mails and phoning them since 11-2-2011 and it is now 11-16-2011 and they will not respond to any e-mails. I finally got a supervisor (I bet it was) she said that paypal is the one that tack on the 33.90 which of coarse I don't believe. suppose to have had my money in 2-3 days not here yet. Guess the next step is write th President and CEo Of the Company but the girl I spoke with does not even know his name. I will never order from this company again and will tell everyone I know not to. Very Un Happy

I made an appointment for a haircut with Judy, the Ulta Salon Manager. When I checked in at the desk the lady told me she was going to cut my hair. I asked what happened to Judy. I was told that she had a regular client call and needed to get in ASAP. So I was bumped for a regular client and no one bothered to call me. I was angry and felt I was treated unfairly. What really made me mad is Judy is the manager ans she should know better than to treat clients badly. There is no way I will ever use Ulta again. I don't care how good their specials are. The poor customer service is causing the lack of clients, that's probably the reason they run so many specials. On top of it all I drove 35 miles for the appointment in bad weather.

I was recently in the Tradition Ulta in Florida. So this is a horrible story, I am getting a foundation match by a lovely young lady, which by the way may I say the only time I have EVER had any kind of customer service what so ever in this store. All is going great I'm excited as it will be my wedding in a few days. So the manager walks by and in a nasty tone said " How are we doing over here" I know her she is horrible but determined to not let her ruin my fun day with my sister. I say great I have a whole basket full of great things. She leaves then returns in about 3 minutes and pulls another manager aside and said go over there and put a stop to that make up application or we will charge her 30 dollars for a make over . I hear it all and mortified I start to get up the other manager insists I sit and finish I say no.Then the poor nervous make up artist spills black shadow down my white sweater, she looks like she wants to cry because of the Nazi manager. So I ditch my basket and go to make a point and wait in Nazi managers line and demand to pay the 30$ for not a make over but I'm to pissed I still am determined to pay for the "MAKEOVER" that was only a foundation application. She refuses to let me pay I insist determined to win. She then calls me a liar and says she never said that. All the other employees were mortified. So one gives me the district managers personal cell. And I tell Nazi manager I am calling her DM and she tells me she is the DM another lie. And I show her the # and tell her read a book on customer service. Never shop at Ulta they are horrid witches !!!!! I have all my receipts and will be returning everything I bought there that I can get my money back on. No.store credit as I will never step foot in another Ulta again.

Not sure why I am writing this review since it seems no one from Ulta reads them or responds. But I got an email on Sunday Oct 23rd that said Ultra Chi Red Pro Hair Dryer (or Red 1" Ceramic Flat Iron) were on sale $79.96 with coupon. I have been wanting a Chi Dryer for a while just didn't want to cough up $150 for it! I drive to store and pick up hair dryer and take it to the counter, give them the coupon (which says 20% off) It rings up $120 with the coupon. I show them the email that says $79.96. She reads the first sentence (about the Flat Iron) and says very rudely "that is for the Flat Iron, NOT the dryer" I said "keep reading" then she goes "oh... let me get the manager" so I wait, and then the manager comes, scans it all and says I must have gotten the wrong dryer (it had a picture in email and I matched it to the picture) so she went and got all the Chi Hair dryers and tried them all. Then she said there was nothing she could do, that I could come back when Regional Manager was there and Maybe she could match the price (TO THEIR OWN EMAIL!). I asked when Regional Mgr would be there, she said "I don't know" Horrbile service. I wrote email to corporate 5 days ago and never got a response. I can understand if they made a mistake with the email but at least send out another one saying they made a mistake? Crazy!

Bloomingdale, Ill store..worst stock ever..always out of sale items. Worst mgmt. customer service. One lady bought all bed head hair spray for breast cancer..no limit enforced by mgmt..was my 3rd time trying to get it. Left!! Employees were stocking, talking complaining, and cussing about mgmt. and cusomers so we could hear, very unprofessional...very uncomfortaable..uninviting store.

This store is at the River mall in Rancho Mirage, CA. They fradulently used the credit card I used for a purchase and applied it to a magazine subscription of In Style. The sales clerk shoved one at me claiming it was free, I asked her twice is it free, even the two months worth to be mailed, and she said yes. Sure enough I was billed $24.95 for a year of In style, c.c. number obtained from Ulta. Ulta mgr. claims she can do nothing about it and also did not have anything to show me that she continually claimed I signed accepting the subscription. Beware, don't take anything for "free" from Ulta, pay in cash only, but better yet GO TO SEPHORA INSTEAD!!!!!

I am upset by the very poor attitude at Ulta in West Bloomfieold,MI. I was told 2 days in a row they would have the nail polish color coming in that I wanted. I gave the man I talked to the second day I returned to Ulta my phone number to call me. He said yesterday it would be in today after 3 pm. I got to the store at 2:30 (the second day in a row) and was told they are not getting the polish color as it was a part of a collection from spring. I asked them why he had not called me to tell me they couldn't get this when I was coming for the second day in a row being told the same thing the previous day by someone else at Ulta. They were very dismissive and didn't seem to care that all they had to do was phone me with my phone number I gave him and tell me not to come in as they still or are not getting this polish color. I will no longer shop at Ulta. Their customer service when you have a problem is very poor. Very disappointing. They are eager to sell but very, very poor if you have any problem.

I WENT TO THE STORE IN AVON CT AS I WAS WALKING INTO THE STORE, I NOTICED A BLOND HAIRED HEAVY SET WOMAN WITH SCABS UP AND DOWN HER ARMS SMOKING WHAT APPEARED TO BE A CIGARET. THIS WOMAN HAD AN ULTA NAME BADGE ON CHRISTINE, I ASKED THE STORE HOURS AND SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS ON HER BREAK DONT BOTHER ME. I WENT TO COMPLAIN TO THE MANAGER MUCH TO MY SURPRISE SHE IS THE STORE MANGER, IS THAT ANY WAY TO TALK TO A CUSTOMER-THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME GOING TO THIS STORE. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER ULTA STORE EVER AGAIN.

Went to Ulta in Aurora, CO Purchased 3 items. Sales person at register was talking to the other sales person and rang up one item 3 times. A purchase that should have been $80 came out to $150. I pointed it out to her and she started to talk very loudly saying "I had to pay for the make up, it is not free." I walked out of the store and scanned the receipt. My husband got out of the car because he could see I was upset. We went back in and the manager snatched the bag out of my hand, refunded the money, NO sorry maam. By then I was very angry so I said very louldly "Is Ulta in the habit of triple charging for items and then humilitating their customers?"
