I dont understand why Trader Joe's will not come into the Mid Town crossing site located at Pico and San Vicente. Tons of parking and low rent plus a built in clientele from those of us struggling to shop at your overcrowded with no parking locations on National, 3rd Streeet and in Culver City on WA Blvd. This is a NO Brainer of a win-win scenario. The Mid Town Crossing site is adjacent to West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, The Fairfax District, West Adams and Mid Town itself. WAKE UP!

This applies to Fremont, Ca location 39324 Argonaut Way, Fremont, CA, 94538 Re: Employee's unprofessional conduct I have written the Feedback and submitted to the Manager however I never received any respond in regards to my concern. Dear Trader Joe's Fremont Manager, I have been a loyal customer at your store. Even though it gets really crowded on weekends, I still love to hassle my way in and pick up my grocery instead of going to the nearest supermarket. I do my groceries twice a week, one alone and another time with my girlfriends to share healthy ideas. My friends and I love the store for the fact that you carry some of the healthy food that we need.  However, I came to realized it has been ongoing mixed emotions shopping there; I am not comfortable of going back there anymore....then I found out that three of my good friends felt the same way. It has been several weeks that we felt like we have been played by your workers, especially the male workers. I cannot imagine how different pick up lines that they used to either give their phone numbers or insist to get our phone numbers. Now, is this proper for a Trader Joe's employee to hit on a customer? I guess not. I feel like I cannot ask help to any of your employees especially male without getting asked for a phone number. Where is the professionalism? Three of my girlfriends had encounter the same thing from the same guy. I thought you should know that Scott, who stocks the fridge on his shifts manages to get away flirting with customers and to the people that  I know who said the same thing. We have decided that our visits will be limited since we don't feel safe doing our groceries. I am sure Scott might have done this to many from the past and he gets a way with it and do what pleases him. Women like me are not safe to shop at this store. I must say you must take further action or we will take this to the Board.  Sincere customer, Lisa Are all Trader Joes locations like this?

I have worked at Tj's for over four years, in my stay, I have seen the products shrink and the prices rise. All the while, the amount of monetary raises per year have decreased by both number and cent amount. Trader Joes, however has grown exponetially! Thank you for giving back Tj's to a group of employees who are literally worked to exhaustion! This company was once something to be proud of, many employees still have a false sense of loyalty toward the company. The people you work with are generally great, and their is a low cost health plan(you will need)however the labor is intensive, demanding and without proper training or equiptment. Fellow crew members and myself seldom leave without some form of chronic pain. If you recieved a college degree, do not expect Traders to care, the hierarchy of manegement is a joke, many times laughable and will certainly be Trader Joes demise. Customers, please be easy on employees! This job is demanding physically and customer service oriented to the extreme degree. Regarding complaints, if you only knew how many we heard in a day! Bring Joe back, keep U.S. money in the U.S., and screw the current German family ownership that neglects their employees and bullies suppliers who already make a cheap products! Hipsters, I'm sorry to say...you'll have to found another way of proving you're hip! This is just another corporate sell out, a false idol!!! As for finding a cockroach in your salad, get used to it. Think of Trader joes products as Cracker Jacks, only instead of stickers you get bugs, bebe's, deep fried name tags, algea, and mold to name a few. This company has shown no apreciation for my intensive efforts! CJ

Hey how about changing 2 Buck Chuck to one Buck Chuck. With this bad economy I think it would be a public relations coup and I could get more wine!!!!!! Thanks Vince Mission Viejo, Ca

Listen up, Trader Joe: Your corporate greed is negatively impacting your brand. I've happily shopped there literally for decades. During the Rodney King riots my neighbors joked about getting guns and defending Trader Joe's. But the value of the products has deteriorated. Items are getting smaller, prices are way up. The latest crisis is their decision to let the manufacturer of their semi-sweet chocolate chips save what must be a miniscule amount of money by not cleaning the equipment that bags the chips. This means that the milk chocolate chips they also make can get into the bags of semi-sweet (non-dairy) chips. For my kid who is fatally allergic to dairy, one chip could literally kill her. What are they thinking??? They just pretend to care about the vegans, the vegetarians, the health freaks. This is just a branding trick. Oh, look at us, we care sooo much. No, they don't.

I'm a regular customer at Trader Joe's. I had really a bad experience today and I'm so unhappy! Today I bought a Mexican style chicken salad for lunch. I almost finished it when I found a cockroach (or whatever insect looks like cockroach) in the box. The cockroach looked marinated in the salad. Now you can imagine how I felt. I took the box back to the shop. Yes, they gave me the money back, but who cares about $4. I hope I don't get sick. I can't trust the pre-packed food any more! I do love shopping at Trader Joe's but recently the products are not fresh. Several times, I bought small box of cucumbers or strawberries and I had to garbage them as they were bad and spoiled! Good morning, I do enjoy Trader Joe's and for thwe most part have no complaints, but just recently I purchased a box of SWEET BITES a Product of France. On the cover is a picture of 9 sweet bites, but just above is a circle claiming 4 bites of each, which would make 12 bites. Not so, there is only 9 bites inside, this is false advertising by either the French or Trader Joe's. Don't know if anyone will read this but at least its off my chest.

I just moved to FL - The Villages. Where I lived before I shopped at Trader Joes. I loved their things one favorite their Tuscan Panini Bread can't find here. Please consider opening one here. It would go over big!!

I have no rating I have a complaint. I was shopping on 5/16/2012,at Store#109. It was only about 10:00 am and the store was almost empty. The checker was very rude! Her name was Lisa. When i told her I didn't like being rushed and pushed and rushed out the door she said nothing and just turned her head away. I could not even put my money away! The counter was littered with bags and there was little room for my items I bought and my purse. I left the store and then decided this was not right so I went back to talk to the manager,I didn't get his name. I didn't feel like he even cared when I told him of my complaint! This is no way to treat people and or customers. I will tell my friends and I may not shop there again. M.R.

To John K. I actually work for Trader Joe's. I have been working for them for a long time. I have seen the values change and to be honest, it is not the same working there. In fact, I am looking for another job. Enough of that though. There is a reason why frozen foods don't have labels on them. They are frozen! There is no expiration date for frozen foods because they won't go bad. If they taste bad it's because of frostbite. If the food is frost bitten it means the product has been in your freezer for too long at too cold of a temperature. Our frozen food consists of our highest area of sales. That being said, there is not one product on our shelf, aside from a few deserts that we don't order at least once a week. Our frozen orange chicken? Each day the average store brings in 5 cases. We rotate our product every day as well. If the frozen food is tasting bad, thats not the fault of the store or the company in this case. Other chains may put a best if used by date on their packaging, but thats an overall suggestion. I'm sorry but it's just common sense, and I have to explain this to customers every day. To Flo...We were one of the first companies to sign the fair trade and food acts. Just look at some of our chocolates and our coffees. Yes, the tomato thing was a rumor. Everybody needs to wake up and stop listening to rumors, and being so picky about things. You complain but drop so much money in our stores. To the other complaints, very valid and I agree. To the people who enjoy our stores, thank you for coming. We love the loyal friendly customers. And if there is a complaint, be nice about addressing it to the "right" people. The cashiers just work there and have enough stress to deal with than being yelled at because they had a bad banana 6 years ago and never got a free one to replace it.

Trader Joe's I have respected your company's integrity for sometime. Please correct your labeling or raise the price of your non organic dairy to afford to feed your cows non GMO. Your customers are going to be very upset. I have posted this to my FB with over 3250 friends. I will continue to do this until we hear that you have corrected this fraudulent activity. Via Nature against Monsanto: "TRADER JOE'S NON ORGANIC EGGS & MILK IS FED GMO'S I LOOKED UP THE LOT# ON THE TRADER JOE'S MILK AND TRACED THE MILK TO CLOVER IN PETALUMA CA. AND TALKED WITH THE HEAD DIRECTOR SHE CONFIRMED THAT THEIR FARMERS USE GMO FEED & UNLESS IT'S ORGANIC THEY HAVE NO CHOICE TO BUY THE GMO FEED & SO I HAD TRADER JOE'S CALL TJ'S HEADQUARTERS TO ASK WHY THEY SOURCE THEIR MILK FROM GMO'S WHEN THERE POLICY IS THAT ANY TRADER JOE'S LABELED PRODUCT IS NOT GMO SOURCED HEADQUARTERS REPLIED THAT THEY CAN'T FIND A NON ORGANIC NON GMO FARMER CHEAP ENOUGH TO GET THE RIGHT PRICE FOR THEIR STORE LETS E-MAIL TJ'S HQ TO STOP THE FRAUD OR HAVE THEIR LABEL REMOVED FROM THEIR NON ORGANIC MILK."

Shoppers beware. There are no expiration dates on frozen items. They put there name on poor quality items that you would not normally buy. But because there name is on you think differently. Try calling corporate...don't return calls. They don't stand behind what they sell. Smarten up shoppers!!!

Got severe food poisioing from food bought from Trader Joes. I went into store to get more information to give to doctor talked with manager from Orland Park, IL location and was not helpful. I called the corporate office and guess what...never returned any phone calls. Called once a week for 2 months...no return phone calls. I finally got ahold of this person when she remarkly answered the phone. Said she never received my messages...Bull!! She said she would start a claim immediately. The next evening..yes evening. I received a phone call from a man stating to be from Trader Joes. He wanted my name, date of birth and SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER! Why would they ask for SS? This man then stated they are not responsible for items sold in there store. If that was the case...why did he ask for my personal information? I called store where purchased and asked about this and guess what no return phone calls. There is something fishy going on with Trader Joes besides the rotten food!!

I got food posioning from item purchased at Trader Joes. I contacted the store to get more info and manager not helpful. I contacted the corporate office. Left messages for 2 months. Never returned any calls. Finally.... she answered her phone...claimed never got any messages. Ya right!!! She said would file claim. Next day, a man called and claimed to be from Trader Joes. He needed information to process claim...He requested my name, address, DATE OF BIRTH AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!!! Why would you need SS? He said they are not liable for what they sell. If thats the case..why did he ask for above no? Something is fishy here besides there spoiled food. I contacted the store where purchased and corporate again...guess what no return phone calls. With no dates on products...and items with there names on them are from who knows where...BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Please, please consider bringing Trader Joe's to Amarillo, Texas! After living in So Cal & Tucson, I really miss having Trader Joe's available. Amarillo is a growing, thriving area with lots of people moving from other places to do business because of the competitive real estate prices, among other things. Thank you!

I don't understand why people love and support Trader Joes? Over 90% of their products are imported. These products come from as many countries you've never even heard of! What are their safe practices and their food safety practices? Do they even have any? And what about buying american and buying local? What about our workers, manufacturers and farmers? I can't understand why for example a package of cut stew meat comes from two different countries like Mexico and Nigeria??!!! This is a gross concept but a cheap one and what about increasing the potential for bacterial and food borne contamination? I find TJs customers despicable and ignorant. And the irony is that these shoppers mainly categorizie themselves as " trendy, savay, intellectual, and conciencious" shoppers. They are hurting our economy and fattening the TJS corporate pigs - this is why the company is so hush hush. And what about the cheap produce imported from all over the world yet we grow the same crop a few miles away. And what about the wasteful packaging they use? They contributing to endless amounts of waste in our landfills. For example look how they package one bunch of basil? It's in a huge plastic clamshell whereas stores like Lucky and Railys tie a bunch with a rubber-band. Don't shop Trader Joes America!

I love to shop at Trader Joe's. Luckily there are three within a 45 minute drive to my home. If you ever consider opening one in Port Hueneme, Ca We here in Port Hueneme would be ABSOLUTELY THRILLED. I know of two great locations possibly available. Thanks for listening.

Trader Joes never seems to mark the expiration date on their frozen foods, like other Major food stores like Costco, Safeway, etc. do. We end up throwing away a lot of the food, not knowing how old it is, because we have spent time cooking some Trader Joes frozen food items, and found only after we spent time cooking them, that they taste terrible because they have been frozen for too long! This ruins our family meals... Why won't Trader Joes mark the expiration date on their frozen foods? We cannot buy frozen food from Trader Joes anymore, until they change their policies...We will buy these items from other sources like Costco and Safeway. We used to shop there a lot, buy our shopping there will decrease considerably.... John

I recently moved to Oregon and am finding that there is no consistency in the products from state to state. Trader Joe's outsources to local manufacturers, which is normally a good thing, but they seem to have no requirement that recipes be the same in different locales. The mini-fiber cakes that I enjoyed for years in California are dry, sawdust like here in Oregon to the point of being inedible. I have called customer service in Monrovia but it seems to be a very difficult process to find the product I want to purchase.
