my mother in law bought my son and daughter both a corvette bed they had the red bed for my son avil. but the pink one we had to order it they told me is would be in thur. or sun. sun. has come and gone i called they told me next thurs or sun day when i called the first thur they told me that is on the truck and on the way well where are they coming from that take 2 weeks when the first said 7 days i dont get it never again now my daughter is just waiting saying why does he have a new bed and not me come on now toys r us get it together

Layaway

I put a layaway in for the first and last time with toys r us!!! I went to go make a payment last week to be told my layaway had been cancelled and not by me!! So I proceed to ask shouldn't this person have been asked to show id? Where the girl shrugged and said well yea!! This person who cancelled my layaway got all of my money back in there pocket. After not hearing back for a few days I went to the store, when I did not like the response I was given I called guest services, only the next day to receive a call stating this was not a corporate level issue!! I tried to call the store today only to have no return call! Big surprise!! What is wrong with people!!

I was trying to buy books at Toys R Us & noted there were no books re black, asian or other diverse books for 3 to 4 year olds. I was trying to find these types of books and alas there were none. This is a diversified world which is not soley white, but blacks, latinos, asians, etc. I was disturbed your store only had books for white children. Why? My grandchild was turning age 3 & I do not want her growing up thinking this is soley a white world as in her grown up world there will be more diversity than at the present time; more than likely a brown world. Thank you.

I DO NOT recommend anybody working for this company. They are not consistant on keeping store managers. They got rid of a store manager that everyone liked working with and went threw 4 store managers since then.The current store manager fired a man because of his religious beliefs. She wrote someone up because they got sick and was in the hospital and had a doctors note. She even passed up someone that's been there for 4yrs on a promotion twice and moved her ex-coworker from another state to do the job. She is very ignorant and ill mannered. I don't know why they would hire a person as such to run a store that is suppose to have good customer service. Worst manager in Orlando FL (8751). The Hr or DM doesn't not care and let her do whatever she wants after all the complaints that they got from the whole store about her actions. They never followed up behind her to make sure we as employees are comfortable and they wonder why the turnover rate got bad after she got there.

purchased a baby compactum in Feb 2013, we now going into July 2013 and after 2 broken compatums delivered to a third delivery of something we did not purchase and absolutely no response from the gateway branch other that they will come remove one door and put new handles on????????????????? poor service

Great Protection Plan

I bought a table set for my 3 year old last year. After 15 months of use, the table started squeaking. I called NEW, told them there was damage due to wear and tear and they sent a gift card with the original amount, including tax, in 10 days. On top of it, they did not ask for the table set to be shipped back. All they said was that I could dispose off the table in an eco-friendly manner and buy a new set with gift card. I will definitely buy protection plans with my future toys r us purchases.

Store policy rip offs.

I bought a pool from toys r us. Me and my wife set it all up, for our 3 year old babies. The water was to cold so we had to wait a couple of days. I go out side the second day and the top of the pool was deflated and half the water was gone. I looked and looked and couldn't find a hole any where. Well I go to return the pool within 2 weeks of purchase to try and get some of my money back. Since I was out 80$ in pool chemicals, 20$ for net, oh plus the cost of water. Toys r us sold me a faulty pool and I'm out all the way around and no reimbursement for the pool cause store policy is I have to wast more time and money with manufacturer. I'm done with toys r us here I come wal- mart.

I can tell you I was a employee that still works for this company as I write this review but am quiting as of today I have been treated un fairly and am so diss satisfied with you as a company and want everyone to know how I was treated by managment in the bellingham MA toys r us and would never work nor tell anyone to work for this strore!!!

Byer Protection Plan

I have purchased the Toys R us protection plan on several electronics since having my daughter (now 10mon old). Our video monitor failed on approx. 2/24/2012 at which point I filed my claim. It is now 4/21/2013 and I have just received my gift card to replace my item after 5 seperate phone calls to the protection department assuring me that my card was en route. However, my gift card had a $0.00 balance. I wasted yet another 2hrs on the phone with the worthless buyer protection department and am still empty handed as I wait to hear from the accounting department to MAYBE resolve my issue. I am fed up with not only this plan but BabysRus/ToysRus as a whole! Store #8729 has 18 registers but more than once will only have 2 open on a busy Saturday evening.

Toys R US encouraging fraudulent transactions

I was so surprised this morning when I realized that my checking account had been cleaned out by someone ordering from Toys R Us on line during the night and giving my banking information. After I called my bank I called Toys R Us and was told it was not their problem and without more information they could do nothing. I did get more information from my bank which included the tracing number for the transaction and called them back. I was told to call the police- they will do nothing. I did finally get someone in the corporate office who begrudginly took my information and "will try get it to the right person". I spoke to them within a few hours from the time the transaction took place. It has not been shipped- why can't they stop it. Why can't they give me the shipping address so I can track down this person? Why is Toys R US not just as guilty of fraud as the person using my banking information to steal my money?This is not good business on so many levels.

Worst Customer Service

I purchased a playset for my son over the weekend from the local Toys R US store. I pulled around back, rang the doorbell 4-5 times before getting someone to assist. I presented my tag and my receipt as told by my cashier. The employee was unfriendly and rude. I get home, take the box out, and find out it was the wrong item. I call the store back (45 minutes from home) and they said they could deliver me the correct item for $80 because that way their delivery fee or I could come back and exchange it myself. I called corporate and they said they would have someone call me back on Monday to resolve this issue. Never heard back from corporate and its now Tuesday afternoon. My son's 1st birthday is on Thursday and he won't have a gift to open because they gave us the wrong item. Unless I drive 45 minutes to exchange it myself. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Terrible No hassle return policy. Spoke with several managers including store manager and corporate office. Trying to return a power wheels( that is a piece of junk),that I bought for my grandson. Store manager told me they do not take returns on these bikes. It is nine days old.To take it to warranty. Nine days old. Road once. Policy states 90 day return to store policy with exception.of certain items. This item is not on list of exceptions. My receipt says 30 days in store return. Corporate office tells me different stores have different policies. Hellooooo, are you people for real. Getting rid of my credit card with toys r us and going to walmart like everyone else.

I am currently going to court because toys r us had the police come to my house 8 months after they say I stole an android tablet. Well this happened in April . They found a tablet when they came to my house and arrested me saying that was the tablet stolen. Well the tablet that was stolen was not even available on the shelves in ANY store till November 7 months after they say I allegedly stole this. Now I am out 3,000 on a lawyer I am out 1,000 on a bond and not to mention all the embarrassment. I really cannot be live this has happened .

rude customer service phone call

Ref#130307-004509, the lady I was talking with about the wrong address my order was being sent to was very un professional.Rude laughing at my situation while I was talking with her floor supervisor and the manager. My issue was unresolved and I was told to e-mail the corporate office.Why have customer service?

Manager threatens customer

Hi I shop at (used)toys r us a lot I buy almost everything on sale and cause of this their manager has accused me (with my son in arms)of stealing he says " I going to have to ask you to leave my store I have you on camera" he didn't ask for my name nor ask me to stay or search my belongings he had no right to talk to me that way any ways I'm NEVER shopping there again

Toys R Us in Lithonia, Ga is HORRIBLE!!

Please do not shop at the Lithonia Toys R Us location on Turner Hill Road. The customer service is terrible! The few times that I shopped at the above mentioned location, my family and I were not greeted once entering into the store and the clerks were unprofessional and did not smile. Typically, I will spend between $300-400$ on toys alone for my children at Toys R Us-frankly-I will not continue to pay for the customer representatives/clerks income in exchange for "horrible" service!

I returned an item in the amount of $317.00 three months ago. After speaking to them several times, I still do not have my money. They just give me the run around.

It does not matter which store I go to the customer service is awful, I always have a item # when calling and I am still placed on hold for a long period and then when someone does return they still have not checked for the item #. When in the store your cashier's and sometimes the managers are not even aware of what is on special, I have to wait for someone to check once again waiting and holding up the line and when they come back they still do not understand the wording for what is on sale and what item is to receive a gift card, oh and by the way your so called coupons are not even worth using, there are a very limited amount of items they would be good for, have the time things no really buys. I have since tried Buy Buy Baby and are so pleased with their customer service and they have coupons you can use on just about anything. Toy R Us send your people back to customer service class and remember the customer is always right.

10 transfers 60 mins....no help

ordered furniture...delivery date set for yesterday. i to the day off due to the 4hrs span. no furniture. now i have to take another day off. this is by far the worst customer service i've ever experienced. will not be purchasing from this place again....worthless I've been passed on from one person to another. I've spoken to 10 people so far....on to 11.

I worked here for the 2012 season and had a great time. But i lost one of my checks in December and requested a stop payment for a new check, i am now going on two months and have yet to see money. i sent in the paperwork and noticed i wrote the wrong date so i got a letter in the mail saying it was wrong. I have spoken with someone about it and they are no help. I have also emailed the customer email and they sent me a crappy response. saying that i need to contact my store manager, well obviously they were no help in the first place. they are beating around the bush. if you want to work here plan on disappointment from their HR and book keeper.
