i had a 2006 rav4 that i put in for service in july 2009 on a thursday. Well when i went back on monday to see if it was done being fixed for a recall on it. What a suprize 3hrs they were looking for it. come to find out it was stolen. So now i get the 2009 rav4 limited edition. Nothing but problems with. been back 9 times alone for the sunroof leaking. I was told it was designed to leak. So now still til today may 2011 it still leaks and smells like mold and mildew.

I have been meaning to write a note as I agree with Celeste. The add you created and use for the Highlander is appalling, to say the least. Whoever thought a self righteous 7year old brat with an entitlement problem would sells cars is an absolute idiot. I have three grand nieces who act just like that little brat . . . Ungrateful, self centered, rude children. It will be a rude awaken when they learn they have to WORK to EARN things and that they are not just given to you. Get rid of that commercial, it sucks

I bought a 2007 Toyota sequoia in june of 07 by sept. 07 the car wouldn't start up. I needed a jump start took it to the dealers and they replaced the battery. Six months later again same prob got a jump start car started right up. Then I had stereo installed mind u , all they did was pull the old system out and plug in the new system in. No cutting of any wires. Again the car wouldn't start so back to the dealers they kept the car gave me a rental then they said bad battery again. And said it was the stereo causing the problem which was not. Couple months later same prob. New battery again by know I have been given 4 batteries continue to have the same problem and they continue to say it's my stereo and now they have voided my electrical contract. I have extend warranty and 3 mechanics have told me it's the alternator. One mechanic called the service mngr. Told him it was the alternator his response was yes we know , so why won't they fix my car! Are they waiting for the extended warranty to expire in two more years! I love my car and all I want is the piece fixed! Why won't they! I will never ever ever deal with Toyota again and I have bought 4 brand new cars from them before! Angry and upset in LA don't BUY Toyota!

Toyota with 36300 miles bad alternator Toyota won't fix had prob with from the first day I bought the vehicle its been in the shop over ten times and the said there's nothing wrong but, outside mechanics say it's the alternator I feel misled in buying a lemon they won't fix! I have insurance so why won't they just do it! Jerks!

I would like email addresses for the following execs., please. Yoshimi Inaba, James Lentz and Fletcher Davidson. Thank you for help me with this matter. Deanna Cook

I do not understand how Toyota can brag on how many miles you get on their vehicles, yet they do not have available to buy replacement floor mats! You are not supposed to drive with loose floormats under your feet. Am I right? THEN, HOW COME THEY DO NOT HAVE REPLACEMENT MATS FOR MY 2001 COROLLA? This is unbelievable! By the way, this car only has 68,000 miles on it.

I recently attempted to lease a 2011 RAV4 at Toyota in Plano, TX. Unfortunately had a very dissatisfying experience. I was mislead by the salesman and the sales manager regarding lease information. In fact on 3 different visits I was quoted 3 different deals for the same RAV4...higher each time. I have lease 2 Honda Accords (wife and I) for the past 15 years...yes 10 cars in total. I looked at Toyotas twice over that period of time and the arrogance was beyond. I though with the recent issues that they may have changed their attitude but nothing has changed.

Toyota of Slidell service dept... SUCKS!!! The only thing they check is the little box (check mark) on the work sheet. After an oil change ($60 +)I went home and checked the oil myself, it was almost a quart low, then I checked the air filter, It was nasty. Now they wonder why I don't go back.

I recently leased my new 2011 Rav 4 from Prestige Toyota in Ramsey, N.J. I unfortunately had a very dissatisfying experience there. I was mislead by the salesman and the sales manager and feel that I should be justly compensated, which I was not. I already emailed this to the sales manager but did not receive satisfactory compensation. Initially I was asked wheteher "if we could do the deal for $200.00 a month would it be worth a call to my wife". After my call to my wife, I was told the price would be $225. Why ask me in the first place? In reviewing the model of the car, I was given a print out of a RAV 4 with a VIN # that had a blue tooth in the package. When I returned to complete the deal, I was told that model "was sold". The contract written up had a different VIN # which was a different car. I expressed my dissatisfaction and was told that I would be given a third year of free service. I should have walked out and I'm angry at myself for not doing so, but Prestige was not honest with me and I still feel like way. The car I negotiated for was not the car I received. As far as I'm concerned this was not honest and very deceptive. If I could afford it, I would have sued. I don't think I was justly compensated for this mismanaged deal. I should have leased the car that I was given the print out for! Is this how you treat your customers? Prestige's response was basically a misunderstanding. If that was so, why offer me anything. A third year of service...NO! I should have the car with the VIN number originally given to me. I would appreciate a response.....Michael Schwartz. My email is msbls4587@aol.com

In 1998 I bought brand new Toyota Corolla CE. Now it has over 410,000 miles. Every time I tell someone about the 410K, thier mouth just hangs open. The reaction is always the same, you need to write to Toyota. The car has the same engine, same clutch. As a matter of fact I taught my three children how to drive a stick shift in my Corolla. The upholstry is perfect. People keep asking me when are you going to get a new car?, or are you still driving that car. I just smile and say, when this one just quits. Being a sales representitive, the car is driven at least 100 miles a day, every day. I have to thank God for his goodness and Toyota for thier attention to craftmenship and detail. It has been a good ride. Finally, I can answer everyone yes! I did write to Toyota.

I received an eamil from Toyota asking for feedback on the 2010 Highlander I purchased November 1, 2010. It was purchased at Fort Myers Toyota in Fort Myers, Fla. I accidentially deleted it before filling it out. Could someone please send it to me again. Thank you. My email address is Fangmanmc@aol.com

I have a 1997 Toyota 4Runner I just bought used at a dealership. Have not had any problems until now. My mother in law used it to go out of town in for more room and brought it back to me saying that she had had problems with the accelerator sticking at times. Well now the other day my husband goes to pick up my son from work at 9pm and the accelerator stuck so bad that he ended up inside the building. In the process my son was hit, not bad he is okay, but it could have been much worse than it was. So we go to the hospital and the officers told me to take it to Toyota to have it checked. They say the truck is not showing any recalls in their system. Has anyone else had these problems with their 3rd generation SUV? If you have please post something that might help me out. Thanks and please drive careful if you have any doubts please have it checked out.

I have had the worst experience with my Toyota 2002. I took it to the dealer in Chesterton, IN. They left my sunroof down it rained in my car for two days. The toyota dealer was supposed to repair my air condition and they cross wired it some how. I wonder why I was only charged 40.00 dollars and now it's cold, my heat won't work. I have a wynn extended contract the mechanic pratically threw on the floor. I took it back to where I brought it and they said it's the actuator door. I know when Toyota fixed the air they screwed my heat. I thought toyota was trying to repair their relationship with consumers not destroy it. WELL HATED IN INDIANA.

This is about Toyota's new car warranty and their refusal to take care of a huge problem in my vehicle. Yes, I have a 2008 Camry. At about 23,000 miles, my mechanic discovered that my struts were leaking. I went to Toyota to have them FIX the problem. They looked at it and said that it is not a problem (not until after the warranty and they can collect the $1200 to repair!). I recently went for another oil change to my mechanic who again pointed out that the struts are leaking, even more so now. My previous 1997 Camry didn't need struts until after 150,000 miles, so what gives now and WHY WON'T THEY CORRECT ANY OF THE PROBLEMS THEY CAUSE??? I'm disgusted with this company at this point.

i 100% agree with Celeste. I have been stewing about this ad and Celeste must have read my mind. Would you use this ad in Japan, where respecting adults is a part of their culture? SHAME ON YOU - Get rid of it and the advertising agency that dumped this in your lap! This is is disgraceful!!

I think the new High Lander commercial is ridiculous. Using a disrespectful child who is making a point to show that "the child" is in control and the parents are idiots is so distasteful. I don't get it, are you trying to say that A) the child is now the customer and will be buying the vehicle, or B) parents are now dumb enough to believe they should buy a car to cater to the childs wants and needs, or to be cool for their 7 year old? Just stick to selling the vehicle in a confident, classy marketing angle. We don't need more marketing that portrays the child as being in control and parents looking incompetent and idiotic. Does it really do any good for our children to be taught it is ok and cool to disrespect parents by putting on headphones so they don't have to hear or listen to us? Bad call.
