STOLEN LAPTOP

i am a student in online classes. took my car in near the end of the day for an electrical check to find out if it was just my battery gone bad or another issue. This is the ANNAPOLIS, MD store..The next day I notice my computer is missing from my vehicle. The gps was still there along with all of my other belonging. SO basically someone was being sneaky and didn't think I would notice. My car is always locked up so I really already knew who to suspect, someone at the repair shop!! I went in to speak to the suspected thief but to no avail. I was just told to file a police report etc.. I have a rather busy schedule so waiting all day for an officer to show up at my house to file a report isn't my idea of justice, not to mention noone is going to admit to the theft or hand over my lap top. It's very sad that noone can be trusted this day and age. Needless to say I will never return and am saddened to have to spend an additional $500 on a new computer for classes after a $20 electrical check. I will not give up on getting my justice or suggest their services to anyone else.

service

You guys have good sales associate one being Gerome ogeris in your apopka store. Its sad though that you guys dont have a good company structure to help the associates and managers. Im currentlyat the kirkman store in orlando fl and heard the manager lie several times to customers about the time it will take for their sercice. You guys need help at the corporate level, I plan on contacting the BBB to see what could be done to help yall business.

Without a Vehicle

I have been without a vehicle for 2-1/2 weeks now due to the negligence of Tires Plus in Sunrise, FL - Brought car in for oil change, tire rotation, FULL VEHICLE INSPECTION, etc. They said my car was in perfect condition with 2 things to be done which were minimal. They damaged my tire pressure gauge and my tire (which they fixed), I drove the Jeep off of the premises and the next day it overheated and the motor is done. Claims department has been dragging their feet and has not approved the repair. Still waiting and without a vehicle since April 29th. Stay away from Tires Plus. I'm in the process of finding an attorney to sue these idiots!!!! I've been a loyal customer to several stores for several years and now I will NEVER take my car to a Tires Plus. Beware consumers! My rating is less than 1 star but they will not let me post without it.

unexeptable performance

I have string of bad experiences with the Tire Plus store on Riverside PKWY in Lawrenceville GA. The shop manager is a nice guy and the service on my Ford Explorer was good. I had a loos of Brakepower on my 1992 Corvette ( pedal went to the Floor) and drove to the store and asked if they can fix it. No problem. The brake Booster was determined was the problem. Brake booster was exchanged and lasted 17 miles and the same problem occured car returned, same problem again. I finally brought the car to a dealer who found the master cyclinder had a leak and replaced it. The booster was not compatible with the Corvette and needed to be exchanged for 875 $ plus the 675$ i donated to tire Plus for wrong trouble shooting. Store comment , we can not believe it but i have receipts. Next incident to install a new Battery , the technicak is trying to take the fender of to get to the Battery since he did not know you need to exchange it through the week well. Never tighted the bolts back and the fender was sticking out by 2 inches when i returned home. I fixed it myself. One month later my AC in the Corvette did not cool and needed to be recharged but it was freon based. The technican troubleshut my AC and determined it was the compressor which needs replacing and converting the cooling fluid, i aggreed at a cost of 1375 $ and was told my car was ready and when i picked it up the same AC fault lights were blinking when i dropped of the car and the AC did not blow cold air. A test was run and determined that a sensor in the dashboard was malfunctioning and there is no place to find a replacement. We reset the AC unit and it delivered cool air for a short period of time and the malfunctions lights started to blink again . I mentioned it to the Shop manger , Don't know what else to do. Still need to get it fixed but i am afraid of the repir cost at a competent repair shop. Case number 3: I thought tires would be not to technical and asked for tires for a used Buick Rendezevous i just baught. The shop manager determined that the Bridgestone ecopia is the correct tire and installed 4 of them for 880$. After 4000 miles during a dealer inspection the tires were already at 6/32 tread depth and i was asked to keep track of the profile and the dealer rotated the tires. Next inspection after another 4000 Miles all 4 tires are now at 4/32 tread and need replacing soon. I filed a complaint with the Tire Plus Clearwater Headquarters and was assured that the local corperate office will contact me within 48 hours which is now 4 days ago and nobody contacted me. We all make mistakes but to be so blunt in violating every Quality control without any thought on the customer in any aspect just just calls for higher action .

Don't go

Worst service I had ever got, and my car still has the same problem.

horrible service

FI am very very disappointed with the language That your employees use while on the job. I am also offened. I will never take my business To your plant city store or anywhere else If people like your employee Brent work for your company. If something is not done about this person I will be sure to contact the BBB & tell everyone I know not to go there. !!!!!

As a former employee of Tires Plus I wanted to let customers of Tires Plus know that they are nothing but a company that wants your money. Being in the parts industry for a while I've learned that a profitable business is a business that treats you fairly and gives you the best possible prices, Tires Plus does not do this. Their markup on Tires and all parts related to your vehicle are ridiculous. They get parts from local vendors at 10% above cost and charge the customer 3.5 times more. I regretted working for a company that does this to customers because it is unfair to charge such ridiculous prices on work most techs can get done in a matter of no time. To replace your brakes and rotors they charge you an astronomical amount of money and don't quote you with any of their specials they had going on, to me that is a shady business. Overall Tires Plus is a company you should avoid working for and going to because all they want is your money.

customer service and information

2/01/13 i was at tire plus my customer service was horrible i was not inform on chargers that would come to me before service i waited 2 hours more for horrible customer service while the techs laugh around and ate pizza i'm not sure why this happen but i been a customer for since 2005 getting all my cars repaired there, not anymore this is the second time i will never go to another tire plus ever

complaint

I just had a friend go to the michel tire in bardstown on Sunday and the salesperson told them that the did not have a tech on sundays so they could not work on the car. I know this is a lie because a family friend works there and he is the tech on sundays. So why are they telling people there is no tech there. I guess from now on we will take our business elsewhere to someone who doesn't lie to there customers.

Poor service

I am highly disappointed with services I received from this location. I have taken my car them two times within a week of each service and now a week later I need for the same issue to be taken care of; car running hot. First time I was told that they changed my overflow container which I questioned because I had just gotten one in Sept.. Second time I was told that my heating hose was linking. They could not find the hose so they used one that they had to adjusted. They broke a part and had to replace it. Within a week I am running hot again. Took car to another of their locations and was told that I had a part that transferred water to the motor that was forced out due to the pressure builld up. Was told that they don't work on engines but the advertisements states that they do repairs on engines. The second time I went to Tires Plus I arrived with my car via tow (both times) at 7:45am and did not leave until 4pm. Truly disappointed. I do believe I should be compensated with repairsand tow without cost.

Rapid loss of air, but tire "ok"?

For anyone who believes the 50,000 mile warranty that Tires Plus puts on its tires, here's an experience to help you consider a different tire shop. I bought brand new tires in the summer of 2011. As of Dec. 2012, I had the front passenger tire rapidly deflate for no apparant reason. At first I thought my steering was getting bad, but not too much later I checked the rest of the car. The front passenger tire was nearly flat--it would have damaged the tire and the car if I drove it much further. I took it off and replaced it with the mini-tire I had in the truck. I then drove it to the Tires Plus in Brown Deer, WI. At first I was impressed that they took so much time to search for the problem, but they couldn't find anything wrong with the tire. I explained that I wasn't going to have an obviously defective tire put back on my car so that I would have to bring it in again or worse. I calmly stated to the owner that I wanted a replacement tire of similar value to the one in question. The owner flat out refused and said that my tire was perfectly fine. I've never had someone play with the truth like that right in front of me. I called the police to try to explain what was going on, but the owner lied to the other officer that showed up about the warranty. The police told me that there was nothing they could do because it wasn't a police matter and sent me on my way. Tires Plus basically came up with any excuse not to do the right thing. It was almost as if they thought that I made this whole story up to get a new tire. Pathetic...

I have never written a complaint to a company before but time is due . I went to Tires Plus to get some prices on some new tires for my pick-up , I have done business there before with Gerald . To make a long story short he informed me that he could order me a set of tires for me and have them to his store in a few days . Well after calling him 3 days in a row and leaving him my phone number each time I decided to go to the store and see if they had actually ordered me any tires , well guess what he had not and asked for my phone number again !! If this is how you want a manager to operate your store good luck because Tire Kingdom will have my business from here on out. Piss poor customer relations

went to Tires Plus, Royersford PA to have my car looked at for malfunctions due to the brake light being on for several weeks. They replaced the brake switch recently, replaced front and rear brake pads, cut rotors, 1yr 7 mos ago, or 20,0000 miles ago. After they looked at all the possible causes of my brake light being on,they uncovered that I need back brakes and new rotors. I spent over $300 over 1yr 7 mos ago, front and back brakes, rotors cut. Now they are saying I need back brakes again, when the front ones are fine and should have worn down first. I was really angry, said your brake pads are junk, and your asking me to pay another $200 for back brakes over a year, 7 months, later. Then the staff person said the brakes may last another year. So now I feel that they are trying to rip me off now to make the company money cause revenue is must be low this month? The manager said they could add brake fluid for now, will keep brake light off till I replace back brakes. I drove out and was on the road for a few hours, noticed brake light back on. I called them and asked did they put the brake fluid in, they told me after looking it up, that they forgot to add it. I waited there for 2 hours to come up with, they are trying to rip me off, and never added brake fluid like they said they would. Not going back to this place ever again.

Was contacted by Tires Plus about my complaint, regarding the pricing and them being so high on their cost to the consumer. When the call came in to me he was rude and argumentative I hung up the phone. No need to talk any more with people like this. So if you can afford high prices for work to be done on your car, please by all means go to them. And good luck

I went to tires plus in west palm beach and spoke to the "advisor".less than one year later i have been back 3 times to have tires rebalanced.tires have cracks on outside edges that look like dry rot.so now i will have to buy new tires in less than one year.feel like the tires were not put on or installed correctly.i would not recommend buying any primewell products or using tires plus.shoddy work and an inferior product will not get my return business.so if you are in west palm beach do not go to tires plus.okeechobee and military is the store i went to.went to royal palm store to have tires rebalanced and the guy was an asshole and could not rub his 2 brain cells together to pull up my info-this is with the paid receipt in my hand.dont let tires plus scam you.buy your tires anywhere but there.

High priced on everything. Had my car towed to them on a Sunday because my garage was not opened. It needed an alternator they charged me $380.00 to put an alternator on my car. I find out that alternators cost $112.00 they doubled the price of just the part. I then took my car to get it inspected at my garage 1 week later and inspection consisted of the following: New Radiator/oil change/transmission fluid changed/omissions/inspection/spark plug change/plugged tire. COST FOR THIS WAS $455.00. I then called tires plus and told them my car needed inspected and told them it needed the things that my garage did. COST AT TIRES PLUS $1,207.00. $752.00 more than my garage. With the economy being the way it is right now, then you have a company like Tires Plus jacking up prices and gouging the public like this. UNREAL

Forgot to add my name to my post, my post was about the Alternator and inspection...

< What the finders found >Time to re-tireMost sttaes's laws say that tires are legally worn out when they have 2/32 or less tread depth remaining. All tires sold in North America have wear bars in the grooves between the tread that are, you guessed it, 2/32 tall. So when the wear bars are even with your tread, it's definitely time to replace those tires.Realistically speaking, once a tire drops below 4/32 it can no longer effectively displace water on a wet road, and and a resulting loss of control becomes a real danger. If you live somewhere where it snows, consider replacing your tires when they reach approximately 6/32 of remaining tread depth.Figuring it outOK, great. So the tread is taller than the wear bars. How do I figure out just how much tread is actually left? Well, you could go out and buy a . They aren't that expensive and give a nice accurate reading. However, says you probably have all the tools you need to measure your tires' tread right in your pocket.Dig in there and pull out a penny and a quarter. Now you're set.Take a penny and place Abe head down into the grooves of the tire. As long as part of his head is covered by the tread, you've got more than 2/32 remaining. Repeat in several areas to be sure.Grab a quarter and put George head down into the grooves. Repeat in several areas. As long as part of his head is always covered by the tread, you've got more than 4/32 of tread remaining. And he cannot tell a lie.Now take that penny again, flip it over, and put the Lincoln Memorial upside down into the groove. If the top of the memorial is always covered by the tread after trying several locations across the tire, you have more than 6/32 of tread remaining. And people say the penny is worthless!

You never go to a tire store for anything but tires duh
