My Daughter took her vehicle in because it wouldn't start. They told her it was the alternator. She paid over $400 and when she picked it up after a couple of hours experienced the same problem. They then said it needed a full throttle body. She paid another $600 for this to be done and it still didn't work. Now they want another $1,500 because they say it is the computer. They still have the car and it doesn't even work. Called multiple times and spoke with the Manager which should be in the car sales business because he fails to help or tell the truth. They are useless, take advantage of people and don't recommend anyone goes to this facility. It has been over a month and we still don't have the car or a resolution!!!! This is now being handled by an attorney. Do yourself a favor DO NOT USE TIREKINGDOM for anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Expect to get the run-arounds. Immedeately after a four set tire replacement and alignment on my 2008 Nissan Titan, I discovered a fairly nasty gouge on the front right wheel. I mentioned it to the store manager, which was reluctant to accept blame. The truck was in mint condition, with NO blemishes, upon arrival, and I pointed out to him how fresh the gouge looked, and how it did not have any brake dust imbedded in the scratch or under the painted aluminum surface, as it did on all other surfaces and crevices on the wheel. He finally advised me to contact a local mobile wheel resurfacing company, and to have the wheel repaired at the Tire Kingdom location on the day and time the mobile repair outfit would be on site, so the repairman could be paid. He also informed me I could have it repaired at anytime by this repairmen, and send in or deliver the invoice for reimbursement. When I stopped by the location, the manager took a copy of the invoice and told me corporate would send a check in six to eight weeks. Ten weeks later, I called a/p at corporate and was told this was not the case, that the store should have paid a small claim at once, in-store, and that they have just spoken to the store manager and he is expecting my call. I've called back and conveyed this message to the store manager, which sounded suprised. He informed me that he would "look in to it, and call me back." We will see. I will not return to Tire Kingdom, and no longer will recommend their services. BEWARE!

I took my car in for an oil change 8/16/10 at 10:00 am. When the job was complete and I paid my bill.I went to my car to leave I noticed damage to my car on the right rear. I told them about it and they at first didn't seem to except blame. I told them that the damsge was not there when I drove in. They finally told me to get two estimates for the repairs. My biggest problem is they were going to let me drive out without telling me that they had damaged my car. My late husband and I have been using tire kingdom for years and now I will no longer give them my business.

I was in Jacksonville, FL, when I had the misfortune to break a timing belt on my '94 Ford Ranger. I had just driven hard for about an hour, when half a mile from work, my engine quit. I evaluated the issue and could see the timing belt was broken. The oil was full, the coolant was full. As I waited some 2 hours for a wrecker, there was no fluid drips on the ground. I was taken to Tire Kingdom on Phillips Hwy., and spoke to Paul, the service manager. He quoted a figure to fix it at about $680 "if nothing else was wrong". I realized this figure was about $3-400 to much, depending on your standard, but I was stranded and pressured to get to work, so I told him to proceed. I called back later that day and asked a prognosis, but no one seemed to be actually working on my truck. On gentleman said the man working on it "stepped out", and they didn't know anything. I came in at the end of my workday and saw the fellow working on my truck, and he really hadn't gotten through the dis-assembly phase yet. There were no fluids on the floor. The second day, I called for a prognosis, and they said I had a "small" radiator leak. They discovered this without running the motor? The called later and said they put the belt on, but it won't crank over. I told him it cranked over when it got there, can you turn the camshaft? He replied that he could. I said I would suggest it's not timed right. The third day, they called me back and said they don't have a mechanic qualified to do that job, could they tow it to another full service TK? I knew of one where my friend had had good, albeit expensive service, so I got the Orange Park Manager to tow it to his store, where it was fixed it about 3 hours. I would like to point out at this time, that I check the fluids in my car regularly, as I destroyed an engine once by NOT doing so. I drive this truck 100 miles a day, 4 days a week, and have never had to put coolant in it for the 3 or 4 months I have had it. It has never run hot on my watch. The RADIATOR DID NOT LEAK WHEN THEY GOT IT, AND ANYONE WHO SAYS DIFFERENT IS A LIAR! I drove home, some 50 miles from the Orange Park store, stopping to fill the radiator about every 15-20 minutes. I used right at a gallon of 50/50 Prestone Coolant in about 50 miles. I can only conclude that while under the care of Tire Kingdom of Phillips Hwy, the radiator was damaged. What can we do to resolve this issue before I take it up with my company who uses your service on their fleet? I don't want to go through the hassle of contacting an attorney, or going to the Chamber of Commerce, BBB, and States Attorney, but I will if it is necessary. I have a friend who knows a former employee of that store that says many A/C lines and radiators are "punched" there for the purpose of drumming up business. I do not know at this time, that he is willing to testify in my behalf, but it could happen. I need a radiator before Monday so I can go to work, so I will replace it, but I would like some form of compensation. I will supply the radiator for your inspection, after I photograph it, if you like. You can reach me at bkarma7@gmail.com or 386 538-1795.

On 07/21/10 my daughter found a screw in the tire of her 2010 Ford Fusion. Needing to have it repaired immediately, we phoned your facility located on Bush Road in Jupiter, FL 33458. On the phone we were told it would cost $19.99 to have the repair made; however, when my daughter brought the vehicle in & had the work done, she was told it would be $46.99 in lieu of the $19.99 quoted. When she phoned me in tears, I was EXTREMELY upset & asked to speak with a manager. I was told that it "depends on the tire size" how much the cost will be, & I do NOT understand what the difference would be. A screw is going to make a hole the same size no matter what size the tire is, & there should be some type of uniformity when it comes to cost. Since this morning I've had two other people call & request pricing for repairs on a tire with a screw in it, & both were different. A 15-16" cost was given as $19.99 & a 17" $29.99. I can tell you this... I will NEVER, EVER recommend ANYONE to Tire Kingdom for ANY THING. People... don't every send your young, pretty daughter's to this place, they will try & rip them off. After seeing a TV advertisement for oil change at 15.99. I went to your store locate on US 27 in Clermont,Fl. Your Employee told me I need to get a coupon so i may get the 15.99 price. I saw the commerical again, it never stated that I need to obtain a coupon to get the 15.99 price. IT SEEMS TO ME, EITHER YOUR EMPLOYEE DO NOT KNOW HIS JOB OR TIRE KINGDOM HAS FALSE ADVERTISMENT. I WOULD APPRECIATE A REPLY BACK. A VERY UNSATISFY CUSTOMER, Joe Alexander. 407-232-3829

Store # 133 2750 S.W. College Rd Ocala FL 34474 Great service. Completely satisfied. UNTIL our current problem. My wife left her purse in the ladies room. Didn't discover until 2 hours down the road. Called and asked to have the purse mailed to our northern home: 3695 Watson Muskegon, MI 49441 It has been a week. We call the store every other day. Still not mailed because of a staff shortage. I didn't notice much of a "front desk" shortage when we were there. Regardless, good service shouldn't stop whens the customer walks out the door. HELP !! 231 7306131 E-mail - schaefertt@gmail.com
