My husband and I ate at the Texas Roadhouse in Lynchburg, VA on 11/09/2011. We both ordered the baby blossom onion, steak, house salad and baked potato. We couldn't eat the onion as it was so greasy and had an awful taste to it. Then the steaks had such a strong marinated sauce that I couldn't eat mine. My husband brought a big portion of his hearty Cut sirloin home with him. The next evening I went to heat the portion up for him to find a large piece of wire in it as if it was a staple. About the size of a fish hook. They should be made aware that this could cause major damage to a persons mouth. And they could be sued. My husband called the restaurant the next day to inform them as of our findings. The manager didn't make a big deal out of it, but said it was probably from the brush they clean the grill with and he would send us out a coupon for a free meal. To this date we have not heard or seen anything from them. Moneta, VA.

I just wanted to THANK Texas Roadhouse for the Veterans Day Free Meals for Vets and Active Duty. Besides having the Best food around, the service was great as always, the treatment as family by the staff is one of the many reasons I have made the Roadhouse my Saturdays lunch stop. It has been the place I have gone in Grand Forks since it was opened almost 5 years ago. The managers are the best, Jason, Adam and Rachael. I would like to make 2 suggestions> 1. Add the smokehouse burger or hamburger to the Vtes DAy menu or Early Dine Menu, You have the Best burgers around. 2. Maybe once a month or so have a 5% or 10% discount to military/vets. I see so many there in Grand Forks and I have many friends throughtout the country that goes to the Roadhouse it could increase business. Thank you again for the Free meal on Veterans Day. I can not accept the Comments that were written about Texas Road House. I have eaten at a Texas Road House when ever possible and NEVER came across ANY of the conditions written. I usually have a great deal of fun with the SERVERS and at times the Manager. Today is Veterans Day and again Texas Road House opened their doors to Veterans. It is very difficult to find the words to use to Thank Each of You for this Gift. I ordered off of the Special Menu that contained a great cross section from your main meal menu and totally enjoyed each bite. We ate at the Restaurant located near the Bass Pro Shop in Saint Charles, Missouri and our SERVER, ASHLEY STUART GOODSON WAS A TOTAL DELIGHT. NOW THE KITCHEN, what an outstanding job that they did. Foods cooked perfectly all the while knowing that they were " snowed under " due to the extra volume. Behind all of these activities that went soooo smoothly was a Manager and perhaps an Assistant Manager that kept this ship on course. I and many, many Veterans do deeply Thank your Organization for such a wonderful gift. Gods Blessings to each, Bill and Doris

I just thought that I should take the time to say what a wonderful time my friends and I had at the Texas Roadhouse on the Outerloop in Louisville, KY. The staff did an excellent job of making sure that everyone was taken care of in a most expeditious manner. I would also like to thank Texas Roadhouse for the Veteran's Day tribute today. I hope this continues in the future. As an Air Force Vet from the Vietnam Era, I appreciate it and I know that other Vets do as well. In closing, let me say again THANK YOU to all of the staff and your Corporate Office for putting this together.

If anyone is looking to go to A GOOD Texas Roadhouse then the new Dubuque, Iowa is not the location for you.Cal aheads wait just as long as everyone else does if not longer. The hostess staff and hostess managment don't really care about good customer service. They swear in front of customers and think its funny when customers hear it. They swear AT and ABOUT to customers. They worry more about singing and jumping around then customer service. They hate groups (birthday parties)of more than five. They are suppose to make birthday people feel speacial.Which they don.t. They pick and choose who they want to make feel welcomed there.(If your a friend of any of the staff.)When working at a GOOD resturant it shoul be about Team work also. When we were waiting for our check for over 25 minutes after we were done we asked the next waitstaff person from the next booth to get our waitperson.....Was told we weren;t his station thats not his job to notify other waitstaff. Our tip of the night....00.00 and will never return. Dubuque,, close and rehire responsible staff. Cause there sure isn;t any to be found at that TEXAS ROADHOUSE in DUBUQUE,IOWA!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible customer service at the Columbus, OH (Polaris) location several weeks ago. I sent a descriptive email to their website and did not receive a response. This just goes to show you that Texas Roadhouse does not care about what their customers have to say and they let their employees get away with whatever they want to get away with. It's like the real life version of Shenanigan's from the movie Waiting. Beware, you have been warned.

Location-on Stapley Road in Arizona Food always hot and Yummy Great Service and great people. We need a location in Scottsdale arizona 85251, there is a Out Back that went out of business last year and the building is empty and right on the busiest street in scottsdale plus next to 3 major chain hotels. You would make a ton of money here and the people would be around the block everynight at this location. 480-946-0080

I ate at the Texas Roadhouse in Hanover, PA on Saturday, October 8, 2011. On the previous occasions of eating at a Texas Roadhouse in York,PA or Westminster, MD I greatly enjoyed my meal. Unfortunately, on Saturday at the Hanover location, the music was so loud that I started to feel nauseous, the lighting was so dark that I could not read the menu, and the amount of MSG in the food was so high that I ended up going home and climbing into bed with a borderline MSG migraine. The one half of the dining area was taken up with a bar area that had two giant televisions showing sports channels. The patrons were almost exclusively young people that appeared to be in their early twenties. My guess is that intent of the "atmosphere" was to compete in attracting the drunks from the neighboring "sports bar". I tried finding information on their corporate web site to write to them, but the only option was to provide all my personal information and then to type a comment in a little 1.5" by 1.5" box. Their corporate information is not available on their web site, so I can only conclude that they don't wish to hear from the public. I further conclude from their 1) change in atmosphere to being a noisy bar 2) massive increase in toxic MSG and 3) normally close-to-empty parking lot during the week... that the Hanover PA location will end up closing by chasing away most of their customer base, and thus closing within the near future. If you have stock in that company, sadly now would appear the time to sell it.

I am not sure who I need to speak to, but I am going to let someone know about how your restaurant in Pasadena, Texas is being run. First, I will tell you my daughter was a hostess there until this Saturday. She was let go because she defended herself to the manager. To start, when she got hired, she came home and stated that this restaurant is ran different than all others. She was told that she did not need to learn the "dances" that other locations do because they do not do that there. I found that a little strange, but figured maybe they are all individually owned, so owners can make their own decisions about certain things. Then, concerning her schedules, she said the head hostess was in charge of making those, and the manager said any issues with those need to be worked our among themselves. So, my daughter would negotiate with all other hostess' to take their shifts, so she could increase her few hours they would schedule her. Weekly, she would call and get her schedule, so we could plan our week. She does not have a vehicle yet, so we need to plan for taking her to work and picking her up, so we were very involved in her schedule, we have 3 children we need to transport around, it is very important we know where we need to be and when. Several times she would get calls, or check the schedule, and it mysteriously changed. This posed a problem for us on occassion, but we always figured it out, but it was very frustrating. On October 2nd, Sunday evening she called and got her schedule. I took a copy so I could arrange for her transportation for the week. The MOST important day about this week was Friday, October 7th. We were waiting to see if she had to work, because her brother had a football game that night we were going to attend, and wanted to see if we needed to get her a ticket also. SHE WAS NOT SCHEDULED TO WORK. On friday around 5:30pm, she called me upset, she had just received a phone call from the restaurant, asking where she was. She said she was NOT on the schedule, but if she needed to come in she could. She was told not to, they had it covered, but not to let it happen again. She was very upset, she does NOT miss work, she is trying to save for a car. We ended up not going to my sons game, so she could have easily went in to work. That evening she spoke to some of the other hostess', and was told she needs to take pictures of the schedule from now on, that is what they do, because the schedule is always getting changed mid-week, without anyone being informed. If she has a picture of it, then she would have backup to prove she is right. She was scheduled for 2 doubles, Saturday and Sunday, she traded other girls for those, also trying to save for her birthday on Tuesday, October 11th. On saturday, October 8th, she went to work at 11am. At around 2:30pm, she called me hysterical, she was fired. When I picked her up, I asked what happened. She said that Matt, a manager had scolded her, telling her NOT to pull that crap she did the night before again. Well, my daughter told him she was NOT on the schedule, she didnt pull anything. I guess the fact that she stood up for herself made him mad. A few minutes later she was pulled into what she called the Corral, with Matt and a lady "owner". They both proceeded to yell and scream at her, she defended herself again, stating that she was not on the schedule. She was told to get out, she is fired. Now, not only am I upset about this, it is all the other stuff that goes on in that place. My daughter constantly complained that Matt, and others, would make sexual comments, and casually touch the hostess' in an inappropriate way. She stated that they would touch them on the shoulder, and slowly run their hands down their backs, to their lower backs. To young girls, this is very disturbing. However, I told her she needed this job, stay clear of those guys, and look for another job, but do not quit until she finds one. Their are several girls who are very disturbed by this behavior, but are afraid to say anything for fear of loosing their jobs. BUT THE MOST DISTURBING THING I HAVE EVER HEARD HAPPENED FRIDAY NIGHT. My daughter said one of the hostess' that worked friday evening was very upset when she went in to work saturday, before all of this happened. She stated that one of the hostess' ex-boyfriends had went to dine there with his new girlfriend. So, when their food was in the back, ALL of the hostess' coughed, sneezed, spit and wiped dirty crap in these peoples food!!!! And the manager Matt was involved also, he thought is was funny, encouraging this behavior! THAT IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, I WILL BE CONTACTING THE PASADENA HEALTH DEPARTMENT ABOUT THIS. I am not trying to get my daughters job back either, I would never let her work in such a poorly managed place, and we will NOT be eating there either. I will make sure everyone I know in Pasadena knows about this behavior. Your restaurant is in an article about Americas Best Chain Restaurant, and one of the main issues there are cleanliness - imagine that! It is a shame that you cannot manage your locations any better than this, it will be what kills your business eventually. Sad really, food was good, but I will find another place to spend my hard earned money - I dont want to eat spit!

I have never in all my days of going to a restaurant have I experience the lack of service. My family of 10 were made to wait for 45 minutes. Three separate parties of 8 to 10 came in after of our arrival and was seated. I was finally apparent that the people doing the seating were not able to keep up with all that was taken place. I hate to say that I will not be returning to your restaurant.

The best thing anyone can do for themselves is stay out of the Bridgeville, Pa Texas Roadhouse........their food was burnt and served cooled to us, and the service wasn't much better........do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the many excellent restaurants in the area............

My family and I live in Hudson Wi. On 9-9-11 we were on our way to Milwaukee for a wedding. We decided to stop at the Texas Roudhouse in Eau Claire. The waitress we had was wonderful. We have two little children and she made sure to keep them happy. She brought them all kinds of toys to play with. It was such a great experience we decided to stop again on our way back home on 9-11-11. Once again the staff was great. They had us in and out within a half hour. I thank you all for such great experiences and great food. Keep up the great work.

Peachtree City Ga would love to have a Texas Roadhouse. There is on in Newnan GA but I was not impressed at all with that location or restaurant!! Peachtree City would be an awsome place to have a Roadhouse!

My daughter worked for the roadhouse for almost three years. She was a good employee who put a lot of hours in but put up with alot of shit, especially by management as did alot of others. Mainly at one location. The Monaca one. About a month before she was let go, a customer had asked for extra onions on their chilli, they wanted alot of extra. So my daughter gave the customer what they wanted. Her manager flipped out on her , took pictures of what she did,and just caused a big seen,so bad that it made her cry. The manager got pissed that she was crying so told the other managerto get her out of their, so they sent her home, and on top of it gave her an extra week of. She went back to work the following week. It was ok for a little over a week, mainly because that manager was on vacation. She was scheduled to work a double shift that would have had her start at 12:30, instead she was told not to come in to 3:30. Around 2:00 she was given a phone call wanting to know where she was at. She said Im not scheduled till later, they told her that she should have started at 12:30, so they told her not to come in at all. They gave her a no call no show and they fired her. Whether that was the real reason or that they found out that she had another job that she was working on her days off from there and had planned to quit I dont know. Anyways just to let you know how bad the managers are out their, they had told the one server out their that was eating something. He said "Why don't you choke and die". Nice place to work. Hah. Anyways my daughter went out to eat their today. The servers where told when the manager seen that she was their, " that it would be in their best interest not to talk to her." Meaning that they woulnt have a job left. So beware of working their.

Today is Friday, Sept 2, 2011 and my family and I had to leave the restaurant In Orange City, Florida at around 4:30pm because of the way one of your employees was yelling and cursing, yes cursing at another employee. It was embarrassing to say the least and I felt sorry for the person receiving the verbal abuse. I just thought you should know we don't think that individual is what Texas Roadhouse says should be part of their team. Thank you for your time.

I have heard that there is a young man by the name of Pernell Mcgregor that works for your Texas Roadhouse in Kokomo Indiana. He is a hard worker that has been there for almost Nine yrs. and has a outstanding attendance record. It is rumor that he is being turned down for his vacation due to being short on hrs. is his attendance record not enough to have a paid vacation? How much more does he have to do to prove that he is a good worker within your company. I personally believe that if this is the way you treat your employees then I never want to eat in your restaurant again and I will let everyone that I know how things are and ask them not to eat there as well. I am very well know in Kokomo and do not like the way your employees are being treated. I have also noticed that he is not the only one. Something needs to be done and I think that I will call the local news paper and get them to run an story in the paper to let people know how you are running your store. Have some consideration for the people that work for you and treat them with respect. There are the backbone or the operation with out them you could not run your store. Unhappy Customer in Kokomo

Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Decided to eat at Roadhouse (Lawton, OK) on my way home from work. Had to give this establishment one last try as I had been having long run of bad luck with their signature “Fall-off-the-Bone” spareribs. They had been coming out old, dry and nasty to the taste. Last month two full racks were sent back. What was odd was that the next two were fabulous! Perfect in every aspect of the famed Roadhouse Ribs tradition! In my overall experience, five out of the last seven, rib orders have had to be sent back! That got me wondering, “Is the crew chief in the kitchen intentionally sending old, nasty ribs out in hopes of dumping them on an ignorant clientele?’ ‘Surely not,” I thought!! I arrive at five and since I’m alone sit at the bar. Melissa is my bar tender. After she puts her iPhone down, she asks what I’m having. “Budweiser – bottle” (due to it is not offered on tap). Gets my beer and back to her phone she goes. I order a ½ rack, side salad, fries. She did not arrange for my bread… waiting, waiting, and finally had to ask for it myself. Salad arrives, but wait! I have no utensils! I pry her away from her phone yet again to ask for something to use to eat. Waiting, waiting, finish my beer, more waiting – utensils arrive! As I am eating my delicious salad, I look up to notice a server conversing with Melissa about a mug of beer – it was wrong. Supposed to be a large draft. Conversation: Server. “I’m sorry it was a tall Bud Select.” Melissa. “Oh! Bud Select? I drew a Bud Light.” Melissa grabs a tall glass, pours the Bud Light from the mug into the glass, then commences to fill the rest of the glass with Bud Select. Note to self. Never, NEVER, order anything from the bar that doesn’t get opened in front of me at this Roadhouse. Salad’s gone. Beer bottle’s empty. Dinner rolls were superb! Finally!! My ribs came out. She could see my continence fall, my heart sink, as my worst fears are realized. What I saw in front of me was the most disgusting rack of ribs to date. Rib order No. 8 was a “No-Go.” I picked up the tip of a bone and lifted the whole thing off my plate, wiggled it around, could have played Frisbee with it, but thought that’s a little too dramatic. This nasty thing was a BRICK! Had to be at least one to two days old. Could not get a fork to poke through it, let alone mash through it! (Apparently, the manager’s test for checking tenderness.) Fall-off-the-bone? Lawton Roadhouse! Give me a break! At this point, the crew chief is standing there making lame excuses, one after another, and of course denying his kitchen dumps crappy old ribs on an unsuspecting public. Very unprofessional. An authentic Texas Roadhouse stands by their “one-of-a-kind process,” “fall-off-the-bone”, signature spareribs; steaks their reputation on them. NOT at the Lawton, Oklahoma restaurant! Other locations? Yes! They are the best! Nevertheless, not in Lawton. This kind of crappy service and these nasty ribs are the norm in Lawton. PUBLIC BEWARE! DO NOT (repeat) DO NOT, ORDER the RIBS at LAWTON, OK ROADHOUSE! YOU’LL BE SORRY YOU DID!

I worked at a Texas Roadhouse in San Antonio and I could not STAND it. All of the employees are in their teens or twentys and are very bossy to the other employees- they act like THEY are the managers. And I witnessed also how rude they were to customers with complaints, and also how irresponsible they were with getting tables for big parties ready, etc. They were CONSTANTLY seating people at wrong tables, or tables that weren't even cleaned off. The managers, were also VERY irresponsible, immature, and rude to their employees AND even customers. I worked every day i was asked and was always there even early, and I even took people's shifts for them last-minute when they were being irresponsible and taking off to hang out with friends or go to the beach or something like that. But then one day I was very very sick and throwing up non-stop and stuck at home so I called in sick and I got from a manager "Too bad you have to come in." It's not like we have sick days!!! Should a manager really be letting a SICK employee go to work and be around customers and their food? That's very unsanitary. Also, I tried to take off a second day once (the only other day I ever tried to take off), because I was helping a good friend with her wedding that would be the next day, and the manager hung up on me when I called in to try to request off. I was in the middle of talking and he said "See you at work" and HUNG UP. This was AFTER i put in my 2 week notice to quit. Now i am quitting today. The managers are very irresponsible and rude and do not handle their jobs well at all. I will never be working or eating at a texas roadhouse again.

My Family and I Love going to Texas Road in Lafayette, La. we have had our share of problems however the manager there(Mr. Steve) was very nice and always was quick to make things right. thank you so much for makeing dining enjoyable for my family.

upon working for Texas Road House, on the east coast they have been me ripped off. they have come up with every excuse and state they will not pay me anything, after my company has worked in scalding hot conditions attempting to please them... still working on trying to get some type of payment. Its ashamed the way the economy is that they find the need to cut back by not paying hard working men, suppliers this effects us all.
