I live in Milwaukee,Wisconsin. My first time at a TEXAS ROADHOUSE restaurant was on 10/24/10. We were exceted about having our Sunday meal there. When we walked in the door the first thing the hostess said to us was she would have to talk to the manager to see if she could serve us. It was nine of us and we didn't mind waiting to be seated. So we waiting for about twenty- five minutes before we were seated and they seat us in a booth that holds four with a table for two next to it back in a corner where people would have to crawl over us to eixt. Other people came in after us groups and couples. They wre giving seating before the acknowledge us. They were of the white race and yes we are black. There were other black people that had to wait just like us but, everyone else that came in was seated first or before us.We never had a chance to speak to the manager because he never came out to speak to us. This restaurant is located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. I will let my family and friends know that this restaurant does not like to serve people of the Black race and if you don't want to feel like you're living in the early 1900s where there was a place for Whites and a different place for Blacks like in the back of the restaurant outside to choose a different place to have your meal.

21 Oct 2010 PO Box 150 West Tisbury, Ma 02575 Texas Roadhouse 500 Miron Lane Kingston, NY 12401 General Manager: Sometimes the whole story is not readily apparent. I took Mom out to lunch at the Kingston, NY Texas Roadhouse on 10/10/10. It was a gorgeous day and we opted to eat on the patio. Our waitress was Nikki. She was absolutely fabulous! Her timing was perfect—we were not in a hurry. She joked with Mom and was engaging and convivial. She took the time to chat with us which was very pleasant, especially for Mom. The whole story, however, was that we were saying good-bye. Mom was very sick and that would in fact be the last meal we would share together. Mom passed three days later. There was no way that Nikki or the rest of the crew could have known (Natasha? I think was the hostess—also very nice). Thus my only conclusion can be that that is the way the crew treats everyone; that, in turn, is a testimony to great leadership. I tried to visit Nikki and tell her this in person while I was up for the funeral, but she wasn’t on either night I stopped by. To sit in the sun and eat and talk with such impeccable service was a true gift. Mom was happy and she had a great time—her last great time. I have a lasting memory of a perfect afternoon with my Mom that I will cherish for years to come. Thank you Nikki, thank you Texas Road House. Hello, I am a big fan of your Texas RoadHouse in O'Fallon,Il. Excited about someone birthday I wanted to send them to your place for a birthday meal. I called and spoke with a female employee and asked her how i could pay for a meal as a surprise for this person even inquiring as to how i could get her a Gift Card to use there when she came to eat. I wanted to tell her she had a Steak waiting for her after she got off work for her birthday But i was very disappointed when i was met with the girl telling me she was sorry but there was no way she could make this happen for me. As i said i am a every week frequent flyer to your establishment but was and i am now disappointed your facility could not do this for me to make someones 58th birthday a special occasion. I finally found another place that was willing to go the extra mile to make this happen for me for her. I am now making a request to you not only from me but from others i have talked to whom have asked of your O'Fallon resturant to do the same as i did, Maybe you could find a way to make these things happen for people like myself who like your facility and want to share it with others. on saturday sept 18th at the wesley chapel rest on rd 56 we had a party of 10 and were told it would be about a 50 minute wait. after about and hour and a half we checked to see how much longer was the wait and we were told that the people at the table for 10 did not leave yet.again after another half hour we went back to check and were told at this time that they could not accomadate us at this time as they really did not have seating for ten.why we we not told this from the beginning ?I It was almost nine oclock at night and we had to find another restraurant.you have lost 10 customers and whoever else we tell about our experience.I think it was handled very poorly .

We first visited Texas Roadhouse in Glen Allen, Virginia in late August and had a very pleasant experience, our waitress, Allie, was super sweet and the food was excellent, and a good bargain because we went during the discount lunch hours. We saved our money for a few weeks, looking forward to returning for an evening dinner, and went back on Labor Day, Sept 6th. Bad mistake. We got a surly waiter named Jason. We ordered the rib basket appetizer and asked if we could get a different side instead of french fries with it, and he said yes. We asked if we could have a few rattlesnake bites instead of fries and he looked at us as if we were idiots, and said very snottily, 'That's a whole 'nother appetizer, you can't have that!' So we ordered a cup of chili instead. We'd been seated at a tiny two-top table, hardly room for your peanuts and bread, so when the ribs and chili were brought we had to put the peanuts on the room divider and were still pressed for space, so we pulled the meat off the ribs onto a single plate (we were sharing this appetizer) and asked Jason to remove the plate with the bones, which he did. Later, when we asked for more rolls, he scooped the plate of rib meat away when he delivered the bread, meat we were still nibbling on. He was moving too fast to catch, so when he returned with the entrees we told him what happened, and again, we got a surly, dismissive answer..."All *HE* saw was a plate of bones!" He neither offered to replace the ribs or take them off the check. The rest of the dinner was ok, my steak was properly cooked, my husband's salmon was moist and flavorful and the portion was HUGE. We had been seated in the midst of several large groups with small children, who were rather annoying, so we decided to finish our drinks at the bar, and perhaps have another one. (The Grande Margerita was wonderful.) We asked Jason for the check and told him we would be sitting at the bar. He gave us our check and we took a seat at the bar, intending to pay both tabs on our way out. Jason literally ran up to where we were seated and demanded payment on the spot. We hadn't even ordered another drink yet! I thought this was terribly rude, and said so to the barmaid, Allie, the waitress we'd had on our first visit. She and the other barmaid explained to me that if a customer runs off without paying their check, that money is taken out of the server's pay. I informed her that this is ILLEGAL. It's like telling a cashier at K-mart that any shoplifting losses that occur during their shift are coming out of their paycheck. It's not only illegal, it's terribly dangerous. What are these female waitresses to do if a couple of large, drunken men are determined to leave without paying? Is she supposed to physically stop them? Get hurt in the process? I've worked for many bars and restaurants and I've never heard of such an ignorant policy. Wait staff cannot be on the floor constantly, they are back and forth in the kitchen, doing sidework, etc, and everywhere I've ever worked it was the host or hostesses responsibility to catch these bums, and even THEN all they were told to do was ASK for payment. If the bums try to leave after payment is demanded, we were to get their license number and call the police. Under no circumstances should an unlucky employee be forced to pay for this sort of thing. If they are having a security problem, they need to hire someone to work security. A theft detection professional, a bouncer or doorman, or if they think a certain server is letting their buddies skip out, they need to monitor that server and terminate them when caught. Either way, Jason was one rude waiter. We handed him a $50 bill for a $45.09 check, and he dropped the change on the bar next to me without saying 'thanks for your business' or anything. I didn't even know he had put the change there until I turned around, because I had been facing my husband when he dropped it off. We shrugged it off and tipped him more than we should have ($8.00), hoping to get better service if we ever get stuck with him again. I am not sure we'll ever go back, however. If this policy of punishing wait staff for thieving customers is true, not only will I not EVER return, I will report them to the Virginia Labor Board and Attorney General, because I do believe this is an illegal practice. If it's not illegal in Virginia, it's still incredibly dangerous and cruel. Even the worst waiters and waitresses bust ass for their money. I have put in a call to the corporate office, and they could neither confirm nor deny that this is indeed the policy at the Glen Allen location. The said the owner of that store will be calling me, so I'll update after I've heard from this person.

My husband and I were at the restaurant in Bridgeville, PA on 9-1-10. When the check was brought to us someone else's check was put on our charge card. When we brought this to their attention, they "corrected" the problem only to make the same mistake (twice). Finally, on the third try they got it right. However, when I asked to see the voided statements, they said they could not produce evidence that the errors were voided from our card. This makes no sense. Every other vendor would have run a credit and asked us to sign the receipt. Obviously, I'll never go there again.

Folks!!!!....You really need to do something about your evening manager at the Sandy Utah Location, Mr Dave Honey. This person really needs to work VERY HARD!!on how to handle people. I have been in Charge of large numbers of people with very critical time sensitive work, as your servers are, but if I ever treated any one of my employees like he treats his, nobody would be left to work!! If he would have talked to me as he does to the servers, I would most likely put his teeth out. I know you have lost at least our family as regular customers, and the other folks that were able to witness this display were very uncomfortable also. My family and I love TXRH, but we won't be going back to the store at Sandy again!!! You need to do something!!!

the texas roadhouse in florence alabama the managers does not know how to treat their employess with respect, they treat them like a piece of property. i heard that one of the workers dropped a cook chicken finger on floor and then pick it up and put it on plate for the customer to eat. i will never go back their to eat. Snoop and Dave are the worst managers there. snoop is giving the one month employees 30-40 hours while the 2-3 years worker get 15 hours or so. that to me is prestiage, unfair, discrimnating, and disrespectful. i am going to talk to some people higher up to find out what can be done. i heard the managers drinks while working, especially during football season. i don't think we need these kind of managers working in this kind of business..

My wife and I went to Texas Roadhouse over the weekend to have a nice dinner because it was her birthday. We went to the bar to have a drink why we waited, as she finished here mixed drink which I drank some of she says there is something in my drink well there sure was, a big 3 loop earring, we were shocked we wanted to vomet. One of the managers came over and says oh I will get you another drink, now would you really want a new drink if you found a big 3 loop earring in your drink? Well another manager comes over with a 20 dollar coupon yea that’s going to make me feel good , he was really rude to my wife, she said that they should not were earrings at work when they are cooking and making drinks and he said they are not allowed to , my wife said well then she should be fired and he replied back don’t tell me how to do my job, I said to him you need to let her vent a little she has handled this very well did not make a scene at all which I was surprised, he just kept being rude as we left I will never eat at any Texas road house again!!!!!!!!!

Our business has patronized Texas Roadhouses for many years in Olthe, Topeka, Wichita, Oklahoma City, and Fairfield. Over the past few year we will bet we have spent over $6000 at your restaurants. NEVER again! We have been trying to let this go. When our client that we were entertaining (all though joking "I hope") calls and says we are considering you for the contract as long as you don't take us back to a Texas Roadhouse, WE HAVE A PROBLEM. We truly can't remember a manager treating us this poorly! I personally have traveled nearly the entire globe and have never been treated this poorly. If it were not for the VERY pleasant waitress, this would have gotten very ugly for the manager. When you care more for a stupid so called policy than the comfort of your guests then you have a problem. Our bill was $286. That will be the last cent you will ever get from Charles Wheeler Photography! We will make sure to post, speak and write about avoiding Texas Roadhouse for business meetings every chance we get. Starting with the PPA website.

I run a corporate hotel in Harlingen, Texas. Jon Deba runs the Texas Roadhouse here in our city. We send ALL our customers over there! We even give our special guests gift certificates for the Texas Roadhouse because they are always so great and Jon makes it a point to bring fresh bread to the hotel for our guests every once in a while. We used Jon's restaurant to cater last year's Christmas party for our employees and it was fantastic as always.

My husband and I always have our annivarsary dinner at outback steakhouse in montgomery,al.This year the 18th of july,we decided to go to texas roadhouse in montgomery,al.It was a beautiful sunday morning.we arrived there at about 12:00 noon. we were seated immediately. Our server's name was kelly. She was a very sweet girl, overall she was awesome!I ordered a well done roadkill with greenbeans and a baked potato,my husband ordered a 16 oz ribeye medium rare with two baked potatoes. We received our food about 15 minutes later.

Myself and many many many family and friends go to and very much enjoy the Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, In., The atmosphere and service there is awesome except for a Manager named Wendy. This woman has no business being in her position. She is rude and down right out mean to her servers. We so love going there and love going in large groups often but have been considering finding another place to enjoy. We have always had excellent service and great cooked steaks. I give those servers 10 Stars plus for a job so well done and putting up with a manager named Wendy. As for management in regards to Wendy, I give her a 0 star. I am here to ask corporate to please check on this matter and try to correct it cause I love TEXAS ROADHOUSE....Awesome steaks and fabulous ribs!!!

Also adding to the above comment on Clarksville, In., Texas Roadhouse, I have heard a server say to another that she knows the managers attitude is that servers are replaceable but was probably going to turn in a notice due to the manager Wendy. I know jobs are scarce right now, but good servers are hard to come by. Also I wouldn't be surprised if some of the male servers there were to file a sexual harassment against her because she is very overly touchy to their bodies. I sure am hoping that this woman is checked into. Thank you and hoping to be considered as a valued customer.

I visited the Texas roadhouse in north dartmouth, ma. I ordered an 8 oz sirloin with two mashed potatoes, and a Texas peach fuzz and my dining companion ordered a 10 oz ribeye with veggies as sides. Of course we ordered the always delicious bread as well. This time it was dry and cold. My steak was dry and his was overcooked. Also, my Texas peach fuzz was pure alcohol not much peach. I am very disappointed with this visit. We understand steak can become dry, overcooked, undercooked whatever...but what happened to the bread?

Texas Roadhouse Restaurant 5418 So 1900 W Taylorsville, Utah 84118 / Richard Easterly Managing Partner & Sam Maio Service Manager - I have known Richard for over eight years through a business contact and have known Sam for the last few years. Not only is the food exceptional they are consistant in quality, taste and service. Richard is a ball of fire (he is somewhere from the South I believe) and knows the secret in leading others to success in this business. He gets the big picture and keeps the bottom line in his sites. These two guys have a great working relationship and it shows. Both have great personalities and are very genuine people. Even though this is a job they are there to serve the people who keep their doors open and therefore let us know they are greatful to have us Each and Every Time in their restaurant. For years we would go three times a month because you could count on the quality now, we go once in a while only due to the economy. I would say this is one of the best restaurants in Salt Lake City for all the right reasons... Food, Atmospher, Price, Service and a lot of Texas enthusiasm (I know, I used to live in San Antonio). Both these guys are the type of people I would want representing my company and to maintain a great name as Texas Roadhouse. I have been in Operations for over 8 years and have a pretty good understanding of what it means to lead and that is to serve others. You have gold in these two guys, hope they are WELL TAKEN CARE of. This is the only place in town that I can count on a great meal EVERY time. Nice work Richard & Sam!!!

WE HAD DINNER AT THE BARTLETT, TN LOCATION ON JUNE 7TH. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT BUT I CAN'T SAY THE SAME FOR THE MANAGER JASON GIBSON. WE HAD 6 AT THE TABLE AND WE ALL ORDERED STEAK. THEY ALL CAME OUT OVERCOOKED. WE SENT THEM ALL BACK. THE STEAKS WERE REPLACED BUT IT TOOK SOME TIME. ONE OF THE MANAGERS CAME OUT AND SAID HE WAS SORRY AND THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT. THEY CREDITED THE BILL 50% WHICH IS OK BUT A GOOD MANAGER WOULD HAVE CREDITED THE MEAL. ONE OF THE MANAGERS RAN OUR TICKET BUT DID NOT CHARGE US FOR OUR DRINKS. HE APPROVED THE TICKET AND GAVE IT TO OUR WAITRESS. WHILE STANDING OUTSIDE WAITING ON ONE OF THE MEMBERS OF OUR PARTY TO COME OUT, THE WAITRESS CAME OUT CRYING. WE ASK WHAT WAS WRONG AND SHE SAID SHE WAS FIRED BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T CHARGE US FOR DRINKS. THIS WAS NOT HER FAULT BUT THE OTHER MANAGER BECAUSE HE RANG UP THE TICKET AND APPROVED IT. I WENT BACK IN TO OFFER TO PAY FOR OUR DRINKS. JASON GIBSON THE MANAGER SAID HE REFUSES TO TALK TO ME ABOUT HIS EMPLOYEE. I THINK THAT IS VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. WHILE SITTING AT OUR TABLE THERE WAS NOT ONE EMPLOYEE THAT HAD ANYTHING POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT WORKING THERE. THEY HAD ALL RECENTLY HAD CONFRONTATION WITH JASON FOR VARIOUS THINGS. MY DAUGHTER IS AN EMPLOYEE THERE AND DUE TO POOR MANAGEMENT, I WILL NOT ALLOW HER TO GO BACK. I TOLD JASON HE NEEDED TO TREAT HIS EMPLOYEES WITH MORE RESPECT AND TREAT THEM LIKE A HUMAN BEING. HE TELLS THEM THEY ARE NEVER GOING TO AMOUNT TO ANYTHING LOOK WHERE THEY ARE WORKING. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT APPARENTLY HE DOESN'T LIKE HIS JOB OR HE WOULDN'T HAVE MADE THOSE COMMENTS. THERE WERE AT LEAST EIGHT DIFFERENT PEOPLE WHO HAD SOMETHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT JASON GIBSON. HE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO LEARN HOW TO HAVE PEOPLE SKILLS AND TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY.

My family and I ate on Tuesday, June 2nd at the Texas Roadhouse in West Bend / Wisconsin. Our waitress was Sam Stultz. She was the best waitresss we ever had in a Texas Roadhouse and we eat at your staekhouse all over the States. She was supernice, fast, very friendly, big smile, always there to help. She was amazing. You shopuld remember Sam, she is really representing your company. Great job! We love to eat at your place. Thanks, Petra
