I was shopping at your store in Katy, Tx at Fry Road and I-10 freeway, I was very happy with the store and how clean it was, I shoped for about one hour and I noticed at the check out a women in a wheel chair in front of me, the check out person was very nice to her and was helpping her with her items with a large smile on his face, he took her items from the counter and walk around the front and put then in her cart. I had my young boy with me and he was very unruly at the time and after the check out person was finished with the woman in front of me the man who's name I see on his shirt was "Hank" he was the greatest person I met, as My young boy was crying Hank stopped and look at him and started to talk like a Duck to my boy, My boy stopped crying and smiled at him, it was a blissing to have a person check me out like him. Hank is a great check out person. Thank You, Target

i have just recently read about how target stores are embracing Lady Gaga and the gay agenda. why?? that makes me wonder if i really want to shop at your stores again. why don't you also support a Christian singer? your company should just be selling things and not making political and social statements. i am telling friends and relatives and going to encourage them to contact you and/or stop shopping at Targets. we have a Walmart about 5 more miles away, and i can certainly drive there instead. stick to selling stuff - that's what you should be doing.

Wasn't it last Christmas that Target refused to let the Salvation Army ring their bells in front of their Stores? Dick Forrey of the Vietnam Veterans Association wrote: “Recently we asked the local TARGET store to be a proud sponsor of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall during our spring recognition event. We received the following reply from the local TARGET management: 'Veterans do not meet our area of giving. We only donate to the arts, social action groups, gay & lesbian causes, and education.” So I'm thinking, if the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall and veterans in general, do not meet their donation criteria, then something is really wrong at this TARGET store. We were not asking for thousands of dollars, not even hundreds, just a small sponsorship for a memorial remembrance. As a follow-up, I E-mailed the TARGET U.S. .. Corporate Headquarters and their response was the same. That's their national policy. Then I looked into the company further. They will not allow the Marines to collect for 'Toys for Tots' at any of their stores.. And during the recent Iraq deployment, they would not allow families of employees who were called up for active duty to continue their insurance coverage while they were on military service.. Then as I dig further, TARGET is a French-owned corporation. Now, I'm thinking again. If TARGET cannot support American Veterans, then why should my family and I support their stores by spending our hard-earned American dollars! And, have their profits sent to France .... Without the American Vets, where would France be today? 'They most likely would be speaking German and trading in Deutsch Marks' Sincerely, Dick Forrey Veterans Helping Veterans Please send this on to everyone you know to let Target know we don't need them either!

The Target store on Genes and Balboa would be great if it were not for the the fact that they only have one exit/entrance all the way at one end of a very l-O-O-N-N-G store. The super market part is all the way down at the other end. Many people choose not to walk that far and will not patronize it because of that and choose to use the more convenient adjacent markets. All they'd have to do is add an entrance/exit at the supermarket end and they'd see business boom.

I called in to Target's Brooklyn location at Gateway Plaza, off the Belt Parkway. Suffice it to say, it was an adventure. I simply was trying to see if Target carried conductive glue for soldering, so after getting through to the electronic department, the young lady who picked up the phone was quite unhelpful and offered to transfer me to the home improvement department. Then she hung up, and when I called back to tell her what she had just done, she laughed it off and instead blamed the home improvement department for not picking up the phone. She then asked me to call back again so I could reach the operator, at which point I just asked her to transfer me to the operator. She said that she couldn't and that I had to call back to reach the operator, and I said I was surprised at the level of service and might consider contacting her superiors or the corporate office. She immediately responded that I should, and still didn't transfer me to the operator. So I called back again and went through the prompts to reach the Operator, who told me her name was Ciujiane. She was actually very helpful and immediately patched me through to the home improvement department, where I found out they didn't carry the product. I just find it hard to believe that the lady at the electronic department at around 7:30 pm on Feb 9, 2011 was unable to transfer me and I hope the company would look into this, and at the least make it easier for future customers and inquirers to get the timely help they need over the phone.

CORPORATE OFFICERS, I implore you to recognize Mary, the store manager at store #1546 in East Point Marketplace, Atlanta. I travel for a living. My flight arrived in ATL at 8pm. The airlines had lost my baggage and I had a morning meeting. I asked my driver to take me to Target and pick me up in an hour. My driver NEVER CAME BACK! It was closing time! I was in a city, I knew no one, my cell battery was dying (charger was in suitcase), Hilton was not answering the phone. I was scared to death! Mary saved the day! She called a alternate cab company. Stood with me inside the store and assured me that she would not leave without me. Without Mary, I would have been frantic, with her help my loyality to Target and faith in mankind is at an all time high. PLEASE RECOGNIZE MARY!! She is an angel! Warm Regards- Christian McDonald Orlando, Fl 407-367-9348

Target has to be the worst store to shop at and the Corporate office is even worse. They keep you on hold for so long I think they want you to hang up not to hear your problem. I tried to return 2 items with receipts at a different Target store which it was bought at. One item was $39.99 the not so compentent manager and customer service rep. wanted to give me $13.00 back. Mind you I had a receipt. Guess what I told them. Then I had another item for $14.99 with another receipt and this other moron wanted to give me $10.00. Both items were only purchased 4 days after returning. I can see why WalMart is King!!

I purchase a HD tv from target store on 2/3/2011, when i got home and set the tv up it didn not work and it had scratches on the screen and on the sides.I then put the tv back in the box it was purchased in and returned it imediately, when i got to the store the clerk scanned the box and then scanned the tv, would you believe the tv had a different serial# from the box.To my surprise target's manager refused to change the tv and start talking about they have to follow policys and gave me a number to call coporate. I call that coporate office and they didn't do a damm thing for me. Then they refered me to the manufactor to get the tv fix.I am so upset with this kind of service from targets they got a hard working $366.00 from me because i'm stuck with a tv that dosn't work.I also paying the price for a filty rotten thief, because somebody knows something about that tv.T promse never to shop at Targets again.

Poor service was bad enough but the cashier did not give me a reciet when I ask her to put it in the bag and when I tried to do an even exchange I was told I couldn't. They give you a gift card not worth even 1/2 what you paid! Too many other stores around to deal with Target's bull!

I recieved a set of sheets as a gift however they were Queen and I needed full size. When I returned them I thought it would be an even exchange HOWEVER the clerk scaned the sheets and gave me a gift card for $16.01 (the sheets cost $43.00) when I guestioned her she said that is thier policy without a recie. Target doesn't even carry a sheet setr for $16.00. I then called the corporate office and AGAIN was told that is are policy we do not do an even exchange without a reciet. I have shopped and returned things to many stores in my life and this was the dumbest policy I had ever heard in my life. Needless to say I won't shop nor will I reccommend Target EVER!! Not to mention the sales people as well as the corporate office were very rude about it. Use to Love shopping Target never again!!!!!

Your return policy sucks! you get less than half of what the cost is without a reciet--I only wanted a even exchange! That didn't happen! NEVER shopping Target again!

ALL I have to say is your return policy is like nonething I've ever heard of No reciet (a gift) and I only got a 1/4 of the original value in a gift card!! SO long to Target! Employees were rude as well as corporate offices when I called! Idiots that's who works at Target!

Target routes their incoming calls to India. One of my biggest pet peves of any company is to send their customers into a culture that does not understand ours and cannot answer simple questions. I was sent back over to the corporate office where the woman on the phone was not much better. I simply wanted to know how I could get the baby mailer. She stated that there was no way to send it to me and that they could take my address but that would not guarntee a mailing. She was rude and didn't seem to care. I think customer service can change your company and they do not have it. I will not shop at Target if I can at all help it. How disappointing!!

If I could I would give this target no stars. I just moved to Ohio and I went to the Super Target in Wadsworth near my apartment on Monday 1/31/2011. When I was shopping I saw a female manager on her cell phone and she was cursing! At first I thought maybe she was off work or something but just a couple minutes later that same manager was talking very rudely to other employees at the Starbucks. I do not understand how a manager can treat people like that and keep their job. What happened to professionalism? To top it off I went over to their customer service and the store manager I guess was to busy to talk to me because they never came up! I will never shop at this target again. If this lady treats her employees like that then I do not even want to know what her customer service is like. This Target needs some help! target on cobb parkway smyrna was horrible the workers were ghetto (leandra, lanadra ) something like that the management was worse without regard to thier employees actions one girl did atempt to help me out kaleena very nice i still will never visit again worse target seen since the beginning you would think it was a venture store.

I would rate them below 1 on their sale/ return area. I purchased 3 ottmans @ 79.99 each on 1/12/11 and to day they are on sale @ 59.99. I took the receipt to my local Target Store in Orland Park Il and was told by 4 managers that the policy is 14 days on a sale item. I was told to go get them from my daughter and return them and then I could buy them back at the sale price. This is silly. I have the reciept. The policy should be at least 30 days. All everyone give is an 800 number to call and a too bad so sad. So basically if you buy something at Target, you had better want it at the price you pay today of forget it-- or be prepared to jump thru hoops to get any price adjustment.

I have been going to the target store in San Pedro, Ca since it opened a few years ago. I have not had to return anything since I have been going there. However, I purchased some hershey kisses recently. According to the description on the package, they were supposed to be milk chocolate with a raspberry filling. However, when I opened them up they were white chocolate with a filling of some sort. I didn't like them, so I took them back to Target to return them. The Target employee in customer service told me they couldn't return them, because I had opened the package. I asked how I'm supposed to know that they weren't right if I hadn't opened the package. He said it's a new policy of Target "If you open up the package you can't return it." I told him that it seems Target is having this problem. My boyfriend had purchased a "Dr. Zchivago" dvd for me for christmas. When we opened it up and were watching it, it skipped repeatedly. So he tried to return it He met with the same problem. "You opened it so you can't get your money back. You can only get a credit" My boyfriend was really mad, because He didn't want to get another dvd at Target if their dvds are so inferior to be skipping repeatedly. My solution to this problem is to not shop at Target. It makes me think Target must me near bankruptcy or something. I have called my family to let them know about my experience and I'm calling my friends. Wal Mart although I haven't returned anything there, I have a friend that says she didn't have a problem, so that is where I will shop

I thought I would take the survey which Target markets on their receipts today, to take a chance at winning a $5000 gift card. WHAT A MESS! Here is what Target is really doing - getting your email address so that they can have many, many other businesses contact you to try to get sales. My computer had at least 6 windows opened from different marketers. I shut the computer down. There's no way this little trick works people. When I logged on, suddently the amount of the gift card went down to $1000. Nice. And, for whoever Sharon is above, get over yourself - you sound like a Target 'plant' put on this board by Target themselves. Here's some info for you: TARGET, AS A CORPORATION HAS A PUBLIC RESPONSIBILITY TO DO BUSINESS IN AN OPEN-HANDED MANNER. You say it's not the public's business to tell corporations what to do? You're kidding, right? WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE TO? WE GO THERE AND USE OUR MONEY - WE BUY THEIR PRODUCTS! WITHOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, DO YOU THINK THEY'D EVEN HAVE A BUSINESS? Sharon, you have a right to your opinion, but so do the rest of us. HOW MUCH DID THEY PAY YOU FOR THAT SUBMISSION? Probably nothing - which is worse - you just don't know your elbow from a hole in the ground.

My family always shops at Target. In fact we go out of our way to shop at Target even though Wal-Mart is much closer. Last night my husband and I and our twin toddlers shopped there. Once we got to the car we realized a bag was missing. I immediately when back into the store (less than 5 minutes after making the purchase) to retrieve the bag and it was no where to be seen. None of the employees knew what I was talking about. After speaking with a manager they agreed to look over the servailance cameras and they would call me back. They called back a few hours later and said that the video was "inconclusive". When I asked what we could do about the situation, I was basically told I was $hit out of luck. There was only 4 items in the bag totally about $18 and they would not do anything about it. I will not shop at Target anymore, I will start going to Wal-Mart.
