Staffmark is one of the worst staffing agencies I have ever worked for. They keep screwing up my payments every week and on top of it I couldn't even go to the cemetery on mothers day to visit my mom because of the half educated people that can't figure out how to do a little bit of math, so because of there mistakes I have been late for my rent and they say it's not there problem that I'm late but when u get paid min wage and have to live check by check there is no room for errors, I am tired of it and so will you if u decide to work for them. My first day I went in there to fill out papers and take a test for a job that I thought I was gunna get paid 10.25$ at the last minute they had me sign the last paper and it said 8.25$ and also when I was taking my test a person left a message and 5 people stood around the phone laughing about his complaint and what doesnt surprise me now is that the complaint was about how someone didn't get paid. Crystal lake staffmark is terrible and I get nothing but attitude and problems. If u have kids don't put your family in jeopardy and work for this company, I have a daughter on the way and I'm nervous scared and losing sleep at night because I think this will happen when I have my daughter. People need to start getting lawyers after these people for withholding funds from you.

As with the rest of the reviews I have read, I too would not recommend working for Staffmark. It seems that no matter what part of the country you live in they have a problem with paying people on time. I just got paid from two weeks ago and yes had no money for Christmas due to their lack of concern for their hard working employees.When you try to follow up with the issue, you are told that "They" turned everything in and you should be getting your check any day. Damn thing about it is, that I signed up for that stupid skylight card date of hire Dec.1 and was never able to activate it because they never updated the info.I was at UPS Mail Innovations here in Calif. and I swear, they run it like a sweat shop. Some of the so called "Leads" they have need to take a class in people skills, communication,work ethics,etc. All you heard was yelling,"Ladies, stop talking" when 99% of the time you were asking someone info on how to scan a customers mail because the lead was taking her sweet time and everything was about your "NUMBERS" Believe me you got spoken to, or written up even if your computer went down til they could figure it out, that was no excuse. Bull S@$#!!!!!! Myra,Jessica,and Sandra you were awesome! Get rid of Michelle and maybe the moral would be better.Someone from Corporate needs to make a surprise visit and see how their company is being represented before it too late and you wind up in court, if you already haven't been there.I found another agency Select Staffing and they are professoinals who care for their people.

I'm a temp for the Staffmark in Chicago, they promised me a check that week I began working then they said "no for the following week" ok I was supposedly getting payed before Christmas, my check was supposed to come in on the 23 rd by mail "supposedly" it's almost new years WTF NO DAMN CHECK I GOT TWO BABIES THAT NEED FOOD!

This place is horrible.. The failure to pay up is really getting old! I thought it was just the middletown ohio office but from what it looks like here, It must be staffmark in general. They literally screw my check up 2 out of 4 weeks every month. I have been trying to get payed for my overtime hours for weeks now.. Just found out Any overtime owed HAS to be paid by the 15th or 30th of each month, whichever is soonest(Department of Labor).. that gives them a very small amount of time to get it together before they get turned in for this.. Hopefully this will help some of you get the money your owed.

I RECENTLY REGISTERED WITH STAFFMARK IN CHEVIOT AND IT WAS FOR A POSITION AT MEYER TOOL,...8 YRS AGO I WAS FIRED FROM MEYR TOOL DUE TO A MISUNDERSTANDING....I TALKED TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHO WORKED THERE AND THEY SAID TO APPLY W/THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE HIRING THRU STAFFMARK...I DID AND I WAS TREATED VERY RUDELY AND EVEN AFTER KATHY WILFONG TOLD ME TO COME IN AND PUT IN AN APPLICATION, SHE WAS SUPPOSEDLY NOT THERE WHEN I FINISHED THE PAPERWORK....I TOLD THE RECEPTIONIST THAT WAS FINE, I WOULD WAIT FOR HER...SHE FINALLY EMERGED...AND WAS VERY ADIMATE TOWARD ME, AND TOLD ME TO CALL HER THE NEXT DAY. I DID, AND SHE PUT ME OFF, AND THEN FINALLY TOLD ME SHE HAD 2 SUPERVISORS LOOKING AT MY RESUME, AND AGAIN TOLD ME TO CALL HER IN A FEW DAYS. I DID SO, AND SHE TOLD ME NOT CALL HER, SHE WOULD CALL ME. I HAVE WAITED SINCE THE 2ND WEEK OF AUGUST AND HAVE STILL NOT HEARD A WORD, BUT HAVE HEARD SEVERAL PEOPLE FROM CAMP WASHINGTON HAVE BEEN HIRED IN THE MEANTIME.

I HAD AN INTERVIEW AT PARKWAY PRODUCTS FOR A QUALITY POSITION TO GO THRU STAFFMARK FOR 3 MONTHS AND A TEMP TO HIRE DEAL. I KNEW I PASSED THE INTERVIEW WITH FLYING COLORS AND HAVE BEEN WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM THEM AND NOTHING....TODAY, STAFFMARK IN FLORENCE, KY CALLED ME FOR A POSITION AND TOLD ME I COULD APPLY ONLINE RATHER THAN MAKE THE TRIP. I HAD INFORMED THE RECRUITER I WAS ALREADY REGISTERED IN CHEVIOT, ANOTHER PERSON CAME TO THE PHONE AND THEN TOLD ME I WAS NOT A GOOD FIT FOR THE JOB....I FOUND THIS ODD, HE TOLD ME I WAS LISTED "NOT FOR REHIRE" I TOLD THE GUY I HAD NEVER WORKED FOR STAFFMARK AND HE TOLD ME I WOULD NEED TO STRAIGHTEN THIS OUT W/THE RECRUITER WHO WAS SO VERY RUDE TO ME. I WILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS AND SEE TO IT THAT THERE IS DISCIPLINARY ACTION TAKEN. THIS IS NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS, AND SURELY NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. THERE ARE PEOPLE IN NEED OF EMPLOYMENT, NOT BOLSHIT RECRUITERS WHO DON'T EVEN HAVE A CLUE ABOUT WHAT IT TAKES TO HIRE QUALIFIED PERSONNEL. I F I WAS A CAMP WASHINGTON WHORE, I WOULD HAVE BEEN HIRED IN A MINUTE.

I HAVE WORKED FOR STAFFMARK GOING ON MY THIRD WEEK AND I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN PAID MY FIRST CHECK YET...HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET TO WORK?? AND PLUS MY DEBIT CARD WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ACTIVATED LAST WEEK IS STILL NOT...ALSO WHILE TRYING TO GET A JOB THE INTERVIEWER(LUPE) TOLD ME SHE HAS A JOB AND I DID NOT SO SHE COULD CARELESS WHAT HAPPENS WITH ME.

This company is horrible/ the forest park office is very rude and mcdonough office is too. I have worksman comp light duty and they have told the insurance comp o am working light duty/but when i reported to light duty at ups mail inovations i was informed that there was no job for me due to my restrictions.. you cant reach anyone ,the personel sucks, I will hv to retain a attorney to get paid.... Donot let this company take advantage/i will be filing a report with the better business burea/ if i locate home office info i will post it

These people are horrible. They are rude and very unprofessional! I am working on my criminal justice degree and need something to tie me over till I get it. They turned me down becasue I am small built and have never worked in a factory before. They were rude and did not even give a chance. I know tons of people that have never worked in a factory and got a job there. Do not work for these people.

Well I haven't even started working for staffmark yet, and I see there's a problem with the people they have representing them, I live in ga and the forest park office is rude and nasty to people. I tried to get some info about the company and they act like I was bothering them

I am really tired of not getting paid on time. I have worked for this company since before it was staffmark and never before had a problem with my pay. I am a temp employee which means I do not have steady money coming in and I need my pay when it is due. This is a poor way to run a business. The branches that have messed up my pay are middletown ohio and springdale ohio.
