| I must start by stating on my first visit to The Sizzler which is called The Riftswood in Tamworth, We had a fantastic meal which i would have given 4 Stars however I am a person that always likes to visit a place a couple of time to make sure that it is not just a 1 off, However to my disappointment I found this to be just that, I went again on 22/04/12 and found that they had no eggs so that cancelled out my first choice of food, i opted for the Roast Chicken Dinner big mistake this was just a pile of frozen food half cooked and just awful, I had to make to with a third option which i did not really want however i had the chicken burger which looked and tasted awful, I find myself saying that i cannot see myself and family revisiting the establishment anytime soon. |

| I have been going to Sizzler for years and have always enjoyed the soups and the other food. Since you have changed the recipes of your soups they are just terrible. They don't taste good and they are too watery. Please go back to the original recipes and leave well enough alone. Why change a good thing? You only hurt yourselves because many of us won't be going back. What a disappointment!!! |

| Went to the Sizzler in Sparks, NV. Orderd 2 buffets it was all fine untill I saw the Buffet, chicken wings and tacos for $9.99 all you can eat well for that price I can get a real buffet. It was kind of dirty too, I iwll never go back!!! My son had a cheese pizza and it was all sauce. Worst food I ever paid for!!!! |

| We have eaten at Sizzler for many years and have enjoyed excellent food. We received a gift card for Xmas and decided to enjoy another meal out. Your Corp. advertisement on nat'l TV advertised 3 specials for 9.99, however when we ordered our meal we were told it was 11.99. Two dollars will not make or break me but with a party of 5 meant 10.00 more dollars. When advertising on nat'l TV the price should be consistant for all Sizzlers. This is very annoying.Stockton Ca |

| We just had luch at the Cedar City Ut Sizzler. The restaraunt was very dirty and the salad dressing was so watered down it was horrible. We hadn't been there for quite awhile and will never go back now. Too bad, we used to enjoy going there with our kids and grandkids. |

I went to Ventura Sizzler by Target also dispite the horrible reviews I found when searching the location online. It was the most filthiest restaurant I have ever seen in my life. Desolate Dark & depressing, each & every table was greasy grimey including the silverware. plates were all unmatching from 1983 too. rude signed plastered all around the place emphasizing 1 salad bar per person no sharing, i felt like i was in some sort of correctional facility being watched. Excuse me i got myself a salad, my husband wont touch it if you paid him to and he clearly ordered the steak & lobster!! I didn't want to touch anything. The staff looked miserable and cashier took 20+ mins to ring up the person ahead of us for us to pay to get started on the most disgusting salad bar half filled that looked like it had been sitting out that way for a week. I overpaid for an "endless salad bar" (1 trip only since it was so gross)ended up costing the same as the steak & lobster my husband ordered which took an hour to be brought to our table even though at a suspect common 6:00pm hr to be busy for dinner was empty but a few also unhappy looking people. Soon as i got up to the salad bar, the cashier sat at some table next to it marked "reserved" scribbled on some torn piece of paper staring at me as if gaurding the salad (creepy??) even though my husband was happily waiting for his seperate* meal at the table. Why is the cashier man sitting at a table watching over me getting my salad i just paid almost $15 for (w drink which the sign on the counter said came w/the 9.99 salad which wasnt true)
the "bonus feature" of the "endless" salad bar is the fact that there is also a taco bar section consisting of mostly broken piled up old looking taco shells w/a crusty pan of older looking taco meat unstirred & hardened solid* to the silver heated pan it sits in beside another hot pan of liquid nacho cheese topped with a weird color skin & mixed items that fell about on top thru-out the day, i tried to dig around all that to "work" with how sloppy & crusty careless this overpriced unhappy place was but it was just too much when i went to try and scoop out some sour cream out of a bucket of white unstirred sludge that looked like clumpy elmer's glue, i gagged and showed another waiting custoimer beside me how disgusting that looked and went to sit back down at our dirty table in dissapointment as my husband was just receiving his food by some employee who insisted on sweeping the carpets out from under tables directly beside me as we ate, i dropped my fork and quickly asked him to "PLEASE STOP SWEEPING!!!! WE ARE EATING, WE WOULD LIKE NO DIRT IN OUR FOOD PLEASE"!! he shook his head mumbled walking away and then later came to our table for a tip interupting our dinner to tell us his shift was ending hinting for a tip, so feeling the miserable vibe in the place i wanted to leave i set out some cash for a tip so he would leave us and he came back over snatched it and said "sorry about the sweeping, i HAVE to sweep"
EXCUSE ME, WHAT PLACE OF DINING MAKES THEIR STAFF SWEEP UP CLOUDS OF DIRT IN TO THEIR CUSTOMER'S BOOTH THEYRE TRYING TO EAT THEIR OPEN FACE PLATE OF FOOD????
I WILL NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN.
THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CONDEMNED |

Today 12/9/2011 at the Sepulveda location in Torrance California. Manager Eric Evans.
We are a Toastmasters International Club.
Today it was a party of 20. For years we have had our Christmas Party and other events throughout the year at the same location with regular attendance between 20 to 35 people.
We made our reservation with more than a month in advance. Last week we were informed that we could only stay between 11;30am to 1;30pm. Another party was coming at 1;30. Whaaat !!! We are paying our bill the same as the next party !!! By now,it was too late to change to another restaurant that didn't have this restriction. We went on as planned, most of us showed up on time and we all were out on time too ... with a bad feeling.
I spoke to the Manager, Eric Evans, about the last minute bad surprise, told him that after all these years of Toastmasters presence I would expect some consideration, at least telling us of the time restrictions at the time of the reservation to give us some time to look for another place.
He retorted in a very rude and verbally aggressive manner, telling me and the lady that made the reservations that if we had something to complain about he has things to complain about us too ... we couldn't move the tables without his permission. We told him not to worry, that we will put them back on the original position before leaving (which we did).
When the party was over, I listened to the members comments and they were saying that this manager always has had a bad attitude, that is not the first time that he is aggressive and with very poor people skills toward clients and workers as well.
In my opinion this Manager, Eric Evans, reaches not the minimum qualification to be one, let alone be in contact with people. He has absolutely no manners. He should be ashamed to represent Sizzler so badly .
Doesn't he realize that if he has no clients he is out of job?.... In this economy it is not that easy to find a job.
Unfortunately after reading Sizzler's reviews I can see that it is not only us who are the ones that have problems ...
I don't know if Headquarters is interested at all in learning all this in order to get better ... What I do know that for us is the last time that we go to Sizzler's ever.... you can thank Eric Evans and his likes to steadily and fast loose all your clientele, |

| my family went to sizzler and they treat us very bad, because we were Muslims. They treat us like we were animals and we came to spend money with them. we complained to the manager about what happen and how they treating us and he said "everyone makes mistakes" we were surprised he is such a bad manager and their employees were bad so we had an argue inside and couple customers left right after us when they saw how races the restaurant is....... By the way that restaurant is at Serramonte, Daly City, California... |

Dear Senior Management,
I enjoy frequent dinning out at Sizzler and today I was highly disgusted with the shameful and repulsive behavioral conduct from your Hostess and Management personal at the Moreno Valley, CA. location.
Sizzler
25035 Sunnymead Blvd
Moreno Valley, CA 92553
(951) 242-8012
I tried to dine yesterday at this location and have done so many times by takeout when I’m working in field for my lunch; conversely I have paid for takeout before and received always 2 Containers for my Lunch or Dinner. I’m very moderate with all due respect when it comes to food at your restaurant.
Due to the nature of the business that is certainly understandable to present accommodation to your patrons as they dine intended for their liking.
However my complaint is for the reason stating a takeout order yesterday. I approached the counter and requested 1 Lunch (To Go) and was provided 1 medium container without a Plastic Bag, Utensils, and Condiments to carry it for my takeout.
I asked very humbly… “What about the other Container and a Bag”? … And was told here is your bag and also that Sizzler doesn’t do that and 1 is only given to everyone and that’s it! Whether or not that’s so you don’t have employees disrespect a (Paying Customer).
My reply was that I come in often there in the past and throughout the region and always get 2 Containers for Lunch or Dinner takeout, Why is today different? The Hostess answered me loudly, very conceited, and smug also implied that I was dishonest in addition to lying and that the company never has done that, which in fact is totally not correct to position that.
I was immediately insulted in front of other customers for a simple question and after that she said offensively to me “I can get the Store Manager if you want, then walked away hastily with a 3 yr old attitude.
Within 30 seconds the Manager came over and was already suspicious If I was deceitful trying to get (Free Food) without paying when I already paid in Cash!!
By the way please have your Managers here who represent the restaurant tuck dress shirts in slacks when at work that’s only elementary school etiquette to say the least.
This Manager asked me what I wanted… not how can I help you…I explained what I mentioned above and he said the same thing the Hostess did as if I was implying a ploy or cheat for an extra container, then he suggested if I didn’t agree with him I could choose not to eat there because he would not offer me 1 extra container for me to take some Fruit or Salad with my Lunch being a paying customer.
That was totally offensive and wrong to proceed that way to me for my question when in fact other locations of yours provide 1 extra container, I can’t believe that happened for such graceful request. It wasn’t like I was going walk out of there with loads amount of food.
All I wanted was some Salad or Fruit to go with my meal on the road, I was not being difficult to deal with or unreasonable. I travel about 200 Miles a day as a Remote Physician of Medicine and having a busy territory makes it trouble-free to have good lunch in the car when you’re travelling.
I certainly agree 100% with your on the measures regarding of the Sizzler especially in a mall area that is crucial, however behavioral conduct is imperative to say the least.
2 of your employees yesterday were outright rude, very ill-mannered, highly uneducated and unprofessional and many of them are appear to be with Low Class and horrible communication skill.
This doesn’t refer to all employees however a large amount throughout the ground floor in main dining area could be retrained how to approach people with common sense.
What I’m saying shouldn’t be a surprise to you as anyone there with ordinary intellect would see closely what I’m saying.
After reading this letter I do not want a “Canned” response from you reply saying how Sizzler regrets my expressed feelings and so on with the old song and dance.
Just save it and make an effort sincerely to work on Moreno Valley’s manners, people skills, and most importantly attitude.
I would appreciate response that’s equivalent to my situation in your restaurant for this matter I will not spend any more money there or in the least at Sizzler around or close to there until this is dealt with from your office.
I work very hard and enjoy having to pay for my Lunch and Dinner in the field when I’m working and not to be treated that way for a simple question of a container and will take my business to another restaurant across the street in that center.
It’s that simple and only fair.
Respectfully,
Dr. Wesley C. Benton, MD - Esq.

I had your 6oz steak special $10.99 last night. It was the toughest steak I have ever tried to eat. when I mentioned it to the waitress, she said she had been getting a lot of complaints. she offered to replace it with shimp or something else. She did not offer another steak. My sense was that she knew the likelihood of me getting anything better, was slim.
We asked if all of their steaks were cut from tri tip. It sounded as though that is what they said, which makes no sense. How can you say Rib steak is from tri tip. If you are going to continue using tri tip to make into steaks, I will not be back to Sizzler. Tri tip to slow cook on the bar-b-que is wonderful. To cut into steaks and fast cook is bad. |

| Went to dinner with two friends. Friend got their dinner and I noticed a dead mosquito on the garlic bread. The waiter said it was ash from the grill. He wiped it off the bread and squished it between his fingers and said hed show the manager. The manager never came to the table. The waiter said she agreed that it was ash. Right like she could tell after he mangled it between his fingers. We lost our appetites and left. No wonder they make you pay before you eat. I give this restaurant a minus 5. Will never go back.... |

Let the other's, giving reviews, go to Outback or Black Angus they will pay much more. Maybe their they will kiss their a__. The customer isn't always right. |

My husband and I went to our local Sizzler in SE Idaho. We saw that the steak and lobster was on special, $19.99 instead of $24.99 so we ordered that. We added $3.99 salad bar, I had coffee and my husband had water. Total $55. We took a small trip to the salad bar, one small plate each, as we waited for our food. The meal got there and the lobster tail was tipped over, looked rubbery and everything was COLD and I mean COLD. We are not picky people but this was awful. My husband called the server over, she took the food back. The last time we had been to Sizzler, some of the food was cold as well so we decided to leave. We called a manager over, asked him to charge us for the salads and my drink but we were not interested in eating there. We were thinking we would get charged $3.99 each for the salads plus my coffee. They charged us for the coffee and $9.99 each for the salad bar. My husband even told the manager that this was not acceptable, we should have been charged $3.99 each as it was a meal add on. The manager told us that he had to charge us $9.99 "because we didn't eat the food". We called the General Manager and he is working to "make it up to us" with some cash and a gift certificate. I feel the GM is trying but really? Why would I want a gift certificate? I don't plan on going back. Ever.

| My family went to sizzlers in Albuquerque New Mexico. Everything from start to finish was bad. The people at the front barely spoke English. They messed up our order and it took 20 minutes to fix that. The service sucked, It took over 20 minutes for refills and 0ver 45 minutes to get a clean plate for the salad bar. When the food finally came out it was pitiful. The Steaks were no more than 3 ounces instead of the 6 they were trying to tell us it was. The food was cold and had no flavor to it. We asked to see a manager and waited 45 minutes before i had to go hunt one out. After speaking to three of the managers and getting the run around, they refunded $4 out of the $90 that was spent. Everyone there was unprofessional and inconsiderate of the customer. I recommend if you are ever in Albuquerque DON'T GO TO SIZZLERS! |

| Went into the Sizzler located in downtown Salt Lake City, UT on Friday, January 21, 2011. We sat down with our food and I began to eat. Just a few bites into my steak, I found a hair, thought it was just a regular hair until I pulled it out of my mouth, looked at it and discovered it was a Pubic Hair. When I complained to the corporate office, I told them I needed a response by that Monday at noon, I waited until 4 p.m. and then filed a Health Department complaint-not sure what good it will do though. I received a response from someone from Sizzler who pretty much told me I was lying about my experience, it would have never happened in their location. So, I guess I'm lying about it? How gross. I tell everyone I know and they are appalled. This is awful and to think they don't even want to take responsibility for their actions. This is truly a stinky restaurant! |

my wife and i had a meal at the banning ca.sizzler location.we ordered the senior steak and salad bar.when the meal came to our table, the steaks were about 1 1/2 inch wide and about 6 inches long. and the steaks were so tough that was due to the fact that they consisted of gristle and fat and had no flavor.this corp. should inform their managers that a steak such as we were served could easily choke a person, due to the problem of chewing a steak that was as tough as we were served.we are not the type of people that complain, but this episode at this sizzler was an experience that we regret.in the future when ever we receive a meal at any restaurant,i am going to take a picture of the meal with a camera and send a copy of the picture of the meal to the offending establishment, their corporate offices and the BBB. the waitress that brought our meal to our table was concerned by the condition of the meal that she served us.it would be to the restaurants benefit to hire legals employees,so as the I.N.S. doesn't close them down. every one should have a camera,so that they can document any problem that they encounter.if you should use this banning ca. location, then beware and have acamera with them.

There was a time when Sizzler was a 10 star restaurant. The food, the service and all and all was wonderful. However that all changed when my husband and myself wnet to a sizzler in Fullerton, CA on Harbor Blvd. The manager was agressive and un professional. He made remarks that made us sick to our stomach. This manager went so far a to joke about how cheap my husband was. They gave us cold fool, and when we requested hot food to the manager, he said what ever. We told him also that we want the tripple AAA discount. The manager said this will be the last time and that he has the right to choode who gets this discount. The manager did not smile, instead he gave us a serial killer look and attitude. The staff was very scared as well. The waitress would come to us when he was not looking and said I will get you some cheese toast. PLEASE do not tell the managaer, because he will yell at me.
My husband and could not finish our meal, because we were very nervous. When we came home I made my husband some tea and soup to calm him dow. My husband is diaabled and has heart disease. I want the corporate office to contact me asap to further discuse this manager. Something needs to be done about this. Infact our friends ate there last year and had the same experience. Some type of action needs to be done. This managaer is out of control. You can contact me at 714. 449.9054.
Thank you

| We love to go to our local Sizzler. It is close by and we alway enjoy our meal. Last night however we walked in to a huge bathroom smell that permeated over the smell of the usual food cooking. The bathrooms are small and very near the line to order your food. I wish you could let this Sizzler Manager know that they need to keep something in the bathrooms to absorb this foul order or install automatic fans to immediately lift this smell away from this area. It could have even been the manager as he was just walking out of the bathroom when we entered.I have noticed that men seem to be less aware of this that us ladies. I smelled the smell for a while which did not do a lot for my enjoyment of my meal....(which was good) I do hope you will inform me if you have tried to change this situation. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah and the location of this Sizzler is 4th South and 4th East, Basically downtown Salt Lake City, Utah |

| well, after reading the previous reviews from others I really don't see a point in writing my own bad experiance with Sizzler concidering there not even going to read my complaint according to there corporate headquarters statement. I just have to say, if your a potintail customer and thinking of dinning at any of these resturants, you might reconsider going some were else. After 40 years and in differant states, I've quit frankly have figured out that THEY CAN NOT COOK! My wife can't cook either however she definatly can cook better then there so called professional cooks! |

I joined another couple for dinner last Friday night and have to say how disappointed we have become with Sizzler. We have kept coming thinking it would get better but instead continues to decline. First off, when you removed the Chicken Fried Steak from your menu months ago, we almost quit coming because frankly it was the best in town but we still came. Last Friday, I ordered "Sirloin Tips". Now to me that would suggest the typical style in which these are cooked. I should have known something was amiss when the cashier asked "How I wanted my steak cooked?". I said no, I would like the Sirloin Tips. She said "Yes I know, how would you like it cooked". I told her "just normal would be fine" and kind of giggled. I guess she didn't find it funny as she just glared at me for holding up her line. But I obviously still not understand her question so moved along. What other way is there to order Sirloin Tips? Tips come in a nice gravy sauce over either rice or pasta right?? Anyway, imagine my surprise when I was delivered a STEAK off the grill cut up and laid on top on rice! Is that the idea of Sirloin Tips at Sizzler? The waitress asked my friends to check their steaks but must have assumed mine was fine because she didn't address me at all other then to set my plate donw. No, the Tips were not fine. Not only were they not cooked the triditional way, the meat was so tough & well done, not to mention dry. I was so disappointed that I did not eat it. Instead I ate from the salad bar. My friends and I discussed whether we would be coming back or not but I doubt it. We did comment that it's too bad because Sizzler used to be our favorite place to go. Oh and by the way, our waitress did not once come to check on us during our meal to refill our iced tea or check how our dinner's were. It's sad to see our favorite place decline in service, watch the menu choices be deleted and the prices go up. I am true to my word if someone asks me if I like something or not. I'm hoping that no one asks me in the future how I like Sizzler.

| I had the opportunity to visit the location on Manchester and Prairie two times in a five day period. The service was okay on Thursday but business was slow. On Sunday afternoon it was very crowded and the line was out the door. Someone took orders in line and we had already secured seating. When I got ready to pay the cashier was complaining that the person that was taking orders should stop because their was not enough seating. She rang up my order but never confirmed. She did not give me the total so I gave her fifty dollars, and asked her if she would confirm my order. She confirmed, took my money, gave change(without counting and never said thank you. I asked the Manager to refund my money. I did not wish to explain myself. I called him on my cell phone and asked I he wanted to know why I left. It was clear he did not. I went to Truxton's in Westchester where the service is always excellent. |

recently, had dinner the week of 10/11/10, Antioch, Ca. . Myself, sister and brother -in-law, we, were looking foward to steak and all you could eat shrimp.
much to our surprise when our dinner arrived - we were stunned to see our plates, mine was a hunk of grizzle and fat with a silver of meat. My sister stated to waiter what happend ? her steak was the size of 2 small fingers, her husbands was equally sad. We,asked the waiter, what happened ,it didn't look like a sirloin ,the waiter stated, "Sizzlers has changed all their steaks to "tri-tips", what tri-tips are roast you cook slow and slice paper thin". Definitely -donot know how to cook tri-tip. No flavor, quality ,nothing. We ,asked the waiter ,"why sizzler doesn't have a sign telling people of the change/ I,would never have entered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, lets talk about the shrimp, the portion was great - only problem was the shrimp had been cooked before and re-dipped in oil who knows how many times - waiter said he would bring new shrimp - brought new shrimp - not much better - probably oil was old. So, fom this wonderful experience,at $17.99
a person, plus salads and drinks - $60.00 nightmare. We, will be ding at the " OUTBACK STEAK RESTAURANT" in Pittsburg,Ca. from no on. The, actual owner is present - and wants his customers happy - he, would never slipa tennis shoe for a dress shoe. Buyer, beware!!!!!!!!!! So, SADDDDD........ |

| On 09/22/10 my husband, grandson and I went to the Sizzler at 2901 Advantage Way in Sacramento, CA. I order the $9.99 sirloin steak dinner that comes with the salad bar. When the meal arrived I was presented with sirloin tips - I'd order the bacon wrapped sirloin. Our waitress took the order back but then informed me that I needed to pay an additional $2.18 for the sirloin wrap. (the bacon wrap w/salad bar is advertised at the same price as the sirloin tips). Greg, the manager stated that the "company" requires that they collect the exact $ for each meal. There was no difference in cost. This all stated with the cashier keying in the wrong order. She was as attentive as a wet dishrag. We left without eating our meal - WHAT A WASTE OF $. I was contacted my BMV Management 951/775-0540 after completing a survey. He said he was sorry for our experience but all he could say was sorry. I find the conduct of the manger, cashier, and Esteban from BMV to be unacceptable. ANY other restaurant would have corrected the order at the time without makeing a stand over $2.18 - which wasn't owed to begin with. Shame on Sizzler. I will make a point of telling everyone I know about Sizzler's treatment of a customer. FYI we use to dine at Sizzler twice a month. |

| We were making our bi-weekly visit to the Sizzler in Downey, CA. The manager was not there; there were but a few people eating in the restaurant. My daughter went to get jello for her son and to her shock noticed a fly that was inside the jello! She, of course, brought this to the attention of an employee who told her to return to talk to the manager. When she subsequently did this, the manager spoke curtly to her replying: "These things happen." I will give you and your mother a certificate, but since your child (three and only eats soup) didn't buy a child's salad bar for a long time (we get one for him now)--I'm only including your mother." Not only did other people know about the fly, but I will apprise my neighbors about the manager. |

at least i got something to go. FOOD POISONING according to urgent care THNX
so sfter spending $53 for dinner and $125 on my urgent care copay for my $178 i got to miss a day of work at $23 an hr. another $184 lost as well
how are your people legaly allowed to prepare food if they are being arrested for being undocumented. i checked online and saw your violations with the health department
for that location and was shocked
youve obviously put profit above your customer satisfaction and saftey I'll be sure to let everyone know about my horrible experiance I tried to speak with a manager about the service and food while i was there but was told they were to busy to speak with any customers
Thnx for being such a crappy place at least i know to go to the outback next time

| My boyfriend and I had dinner at the Sizzler in Eagle Rock and had a basically nice dinner. The steak was a little over done, I would have sent it back, but, he never does. Shrimp and salad bar were pretty good, too. Before leaving the restaurant I decided to use the womens bathroom and that was a "BIG" mistake. It was the filthiest bathroom I have ever been in, it had vomit on the toilet seat that had been there for a while, there was used toilet tissue all on the floor and the sink was filthy. I asked for the manager and reported the conditions and told her " this is public place where food is sold and to end an evening with that was mess was totally unacceptable and as manager she should monitor the cleanliness of the bathroom much more closely", she look at me like it was no big deal and said I will get someone to take care of it. I called the corporate office 3 times to complain, never got a call back or an email. Left three messages for Angelina in Customer Relations,no response, maybe Angelina was out to lunch, I hope it was at the Sizzler in Eagle Rock, then maybe she can expierence what I did. stay away ladies if you have a weak stomach. |

| This review may be a little late but necessary for all to read. It had been awhile since visiting a Sizzler, so when my son decided to choose it for celebrating his birthday we were looking forward to a great early dinner. On July 17, 2010 we visited the Pico Rivera location at the Washington/Rosemead. A party of 8. Five of us ordered the steak dinner including the salad bar (for the dessert) and others ordered the malibu chicken, shrimp dinners. When we had entered the sizzler it was hot inside and we did ask the cashier "if the air conditioning was on?", she assured us that it was and recommended: "we sit at the far end where it would be more cooler because of the fans". We begun to attempt to make ourselves comfortable, but it was impossible. We were all beginning to wipe our for heads from sweat, it was so hot inside. When the waitress came with our meals, we were surprised to find that the steaks were not at all what we thought they should be. My son had even commented to the waitress, " this is it, the A1 sauce bottle is bigger than this steak". She of course smiled and asked: "if anything else was needed". I once again inquired about the air conditioning. She stated that it was broken and had not been fixed in two days. I called for the manager and he came over. We complained about the air conditioning and the food. He didn't have much to say but "that it was being looked at". Before leaving my son and his wife decided to at least have some ice cream (to try and cool off) when he served both bowls, set them down to use the restroom and returned- the ice cream had already melted. could it had been any hotter? In short my son's celebration turned out to be a horrible/heated experience at this location. |

Hi To All,
My wife, friend and I went to the Sizzler on Sherman Way I believe the city was Canoga Park in Southern California. I believe what Mark posted. The steak that friend and I ordered was medium. My friend received a stake that was medium while I receive one that was seared on the outside but completely raw on the inside. I send my steak back and they cooked it again. this time they served it to me burnt. I sent it back again. I had to wait half an hour before it was served to me and believe it or not it was cook rare (and borderline at that.) I decided that it was time to talk to the manager. The person at the counter called him in Spanish, I knew that was trouble. Finally after ten minutes the manager came to our table. I showed him my rare steak and he told me that the stakes are frozen but the steak I had was medium and that he cooked it himself. My friend showed him her steak which was medium. He told us that they were in act both medium and they looked the same to him. mind you my friend's stake was brown in the middle like a steak cooked medium should be and mine was oozing blood so much blood that it soaked into my rice. I told him that I had been a steak chef and the steak I had was definitely rare. The manager stood there and argued with me for about five minutes. Finally he asked what I want him to do offering a refund for my steak only or a free meal. I opted for a free meal but now thinking about it I should have asked for a refund. I must add the service was good wish the cooks were as well.
Rest assured I will be contacting corporate about this incident. I have had problems with the store location that I mentioned earlier however a different location I have always been satisfied with my steaks being cooked as ordered. So why did I go back to the store I had problems with before well two reasons 1. I hoped they learned how to cook steaks properly and 2. My friend treated my wife and I to dinner and suggested that store being we were in the area.

How funny to see a terrible review for Sizzler. My husband and I wanted steak for dinner, so we were pleased to see that there was a Sizzler right around the corner. We GPS the route and got there on Wilshire in Santa Monica and the place was closed (I think burnt down), so we GPS the next closest one in Culver City at 5801 Sepulveda Blvd, so we drove out of our way to get there. We were excited to each get a porterhouse steak (our dog would love the bones) we ordered the steaks Med-rare and paid the extra $3.99 each for the salad bar, plus drinks. Total $59.00. The salad bar was yummy (I must admit), we waited 25 minutes for our steaks which came out with a tag saying Med-well, so of course we sent them back. Another 20 minutes goes by and our steaks come out.... We cut into our steaks and they both looked like they were microwaved. The filet side was a beige color and like frost bitten....definitely NOT a healthy looking steak. I was so upset, I had the manager come by to look at the steaks and he made it look like it was our faults. He basically said "what would you like me to do about it".... We said, well - we would like our steaks taken off our bill. The manager said, "of course you do, I mean that is only 4 steaks gone bad now", again making it sound like it is our fault. The manager said that we would have to pay for the salad bar as full price and pay for our drinks...we agreed, we weren't looking for a free meal, but I later realized that the manager charged us $9.99 each, plus our drinks ...total $34.00. We didn't eat $10 worth of salad, we didn't even have dessert.
I will call the corporate office tomorrow, because there is NO REASON why 4 steaks should of EVER come to our table overcooked and then microwaved...UNEXCEPTABLE...let alone being charged anything at all. The manager should of honored the $3.99 each, plus our drinks, that is exceptable....but $34 bucks for salad that's ridiculous.
I hope others read this....DO NOT GET ANY OF THE STEAKS AT SIZZLER. NOT GOOD QUALITY OF MEAT AT SIZZLER.
