Since sept 2013 rooms to go can't get a defective bed set out and new one delivered without an issue. I just turned down another delivery king mattress with a gueen box spring really now. First 3 box springs had cardbhord in them squeeking every move u make. And to boot the delivery drivers all told me they are picking them up like crazy many returns for the same reason so why make a customer wait for an inspection the to have to make another appt. To deliver one then to deliver the same style with the defect. Really ..... now I go bacak to store round 3 pick out a different one and the bring two different sizes. And charge me delivery.

This place is a joke

No one on the showroom is helpful (been to two of them), corporate office bounces you around, not giving full names so you can't reach them and claim to have multiple people in the office with the same name so the transfer you to customer service, which is more useless than the receptionist who answers your call in the first place. I don't have the space here or the patience to write down my horrible experience with them but rest assured I will do my part in making sure everyone I know is aware of my experience

Buissness Man

Bought $12,000 worth of furniture guys nicked paint on the way in to the new apartment. Missplaced the Best buy Card and still trying to get a replacement so we will have TV when we get off of work. Keep getting told its cooperate they are waiting on. 30 min on hold continues loop. No answer you can bet we want be using them to fill anymore of our other locations way to go coustomer service you just lost a huge chuck of buissness.

Horrific Customer Service

I went to the website to order a sofa and love seat. The items stated they were available for next day shipping. When I went to checkout, it stated it would be another week before it was delivered and there would be no call before delivery and someone would need to be home all day for whenever they arrived. I did a chat with a representative and she said that's right no call you have to be home all day. I stated I would be shopping somewhere else and the lady just said ok. I did not realize the furniture business was so good you could just treat people anyway you like. I called the store in Raleigh about ordering from the store and she was no help either. I will not be buying from Rooms to go ever again.

worse customer service ever

I'm so unbelievable upset. The delivery person looked up at my step and sighed and rooled his eyes. Then a guy came up and looked and said it wouldn't fit. Then another guy came up with a rope not a tape measure and said it wouldn't fit. I told him I had a bigger item in there he said there is no way. They wouldn't even try. When corporate called he just told me I could come pick up something smaller or wait a week for a check. When I told there is nothing I wanted and I shouldn't have to wait a week he didn't offer a solution. I also didn't apologize for his delivery people just keep on backing them up saying there experience even after they used a rope to measure not a tape measure. The bad part is I was really excited about getting my sleeper sofa it was what I wanted. If I could I would give them a negative star rating.

NOT GOOD FURINURE OR SERVICE DEPT

Purchased this furniture middle of Aug 2012. Recliner had to be replaced, back loss and leaning back. When the next one came seating in it, left side is higher then right, mean while the back of the love seat back and sofa back became loose, service came and tightened screws on sofa & love seat would not look at recliner. . Love seat is still not even one side is back more then other side and loose. Service man came again to look at pieces and said he sees the trouble but can’t understand why. He will make his report. Received call today stating service man said fine in manufacturer Limits. You have limits you should be making furniture right. I have people come in and sit on the furniture and ask what is wrong with this . Your company needs to fix this problem I have.

Terrible Service

Rooms to Go customer service is terrible especially out in the warehouse. I was purchase the Whitmore bed back in December of 2012, and I was told that it is on back order until March 2013. Then I was told that I should receive it March 1, 2013. I received a call saying that I will not receive it and it is on back order until July. I was told that it is coming from china, and it is a first come first serve basis. I PURCHASED IT BACK IN DECEMBER. If they have a low inventory on the merchandise, or if they do not have any at all then why is the store still selling the merchandise? This is ridiculous I will never deal with Rooms to Go ever again. My entire bedroom set is the Whitmore, and I wanted to complete the collection. I’m done with them because they have very poor service and they have deceived me in thinking they still had the merchandise in the stores. I wonder how many other customers have had to deal with this with Rooms to Go.

I bought two bedroom suites, both were delivered, I however added a piece and chose to pick it up in Arlington Tx at their Wharehouse I been waiting for 50 minutes on one chest of drawers. I think this place must be run my a bunch of idiots. The customer service is 0. I am about to tell them to shove all of the furniture where the sun doesn't shine. The most enificient place I've seen that still in business.

Shame on you!!! You all deserve an F ---- which menas FAILING for your custromer service and return polocy! Within 15 days, we tried to return (UNUSED and UNOPENED) merchadise and the local store and corporate office unprofessionally and rudely declined to allow it -- they even had the nerve to say... "there is no loading dock!" Perhpas there is not loading dock, because you know your merchandise is inadequate! You all are non - professionals and need to rethink your policies! However, after reading these sad reviews, Honestly, I am surprised you are even still in business! I will make it my business to ensure none of my friends or even foes will ever purchase anything from you! A PISSED OFF customer!

Robbed during delivery

While my Rooms to Go furniture was being delivered, one of the delivery men stole all the cash from my purse. I did file a police report, but when I contacted Rooms to Go, the manager was initially sympahtetic. However, as i pushed the matter, they were rude and denied any responsibility for the incident. The corporate office 's response was arrogant and rude as well. I am filing a civil suit.

I have pretty much the same problem as other customers my dining room table collapsed and fell apart. I was told it was wear and tear and they couldn't help me but as the other guy said in his report this was the results of a defective product not wear and tear. The entire staff is rude unless their trying to sell you something. They do your self a favor spend a little extra on some furniture that won't fall apart in a year.

Customer Service

I ordered over $3,000.00 in bedroom furniture paid $166.00 for delivery and the dresser was broken! When I called to report it, I was laughed at and told it would be 2 weeks before they could get me a dresser replacement! I wanted to return it at this point and was told it was impossible! And that they were in no way concerned with my feelings on the matter. Never again will I be shopping with RTG and I will be making a formal complaint with the BBB.

Very disappointed. Finally found the perfect furniture after several months of looking, was on back order, ok with that, set up a date. Then was told one item was back ordered again so set up another date so all items could be delivered at same time. Then was told all items were in after all and will be delivered on the first date. Took a grest deal of scheduling on y part to have items delivered only to find out the items were never placed on the truck. so all that planning and waiting for naught. Rescheduled for 2nd delivery date, did not receive a phone call 2 days prior so I placed the call and was assured all items would be delivered. Today I get a call saying another item is now back ordered! How is an item there for first delivery, then for second, then for first date, was there yesterday and now not there today for delivery tomorrow? Have yet to speak with a manager, leaves messages via customer service representative.

Worst tv commercials ever

Seriously can anyone on the face of the earth endure the Rooms 2 Go commericals with the shriekling, buzz saw louder than the announcer manic electric guitar playing over and thru everything. They have the lousiest reputation for service and products and have to add insult to injury by their most annoying on tv, loud, obnoxious, nonsensical sounding commercials. I know over 55 people who've boycotted them just because of their blasted commercials. Does the entire world hate Rooms to Go- yes! But they think if they keep blasting us with their manic insanely loud commercials that somehow we'll like them. Worst sounding commercial award is the only thing they'd ever win.

Don't stand by products

purchased sofa and loveseat a little over a year ago, called the store, out of warranty and won't send a tech to fix it, have to call a local furniture repair, which will cost a nightmare, it was a defective couch with a spring broken in center seat where hardly anyone sits. called the store twice and got hung up on, called corporate cust. service and again, rude and offered nothing. For such a large company, they need to support their products better and hire more competent people that can speak professionally.

I tried to place a gift card order for a substantial sum as a wedding gift for a close friend. It was the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a retail organization. Sparing you the details, there is no customer service, and no response to problems. I would discourage ever ordering from Rooms To Go to anyone considering the possibility. I never received the gift card to send out, and now I am trying to find an alternative. I am suprised they are still in business.

Worst service again after 8 years

I purchased a 4000.00 bedroom set 8 years ago and had to wait 5 times for the dilivery. Every time they came in there was a big time amount of damage to posts, mirror, and other items. I had not purchased anything for 8 years with them. Now I decided to give them one more chance. Bought a 2000.00 mattres and realizing I have made another mistake. There service is the worst I have ever had. I waited all day from 8 to 3 for the arrival and still not here, managers wont get on the phone to take care of the problem, I cant even get a hold of anybody at corporate level. NEVER AGAIN.......I will just start shopping with City Furniture, they are friendly and care about good service.

WORST SERVICE EVER

Wow is all I have to say about the horrible service I have received from Rooms-To-Go. I spent several thousand of dollars on new furniture and what do I get on my deliver date. I get a jacked up headboard, scratched up dresser with bubbles on the surface and damages to my living room, dining room, and bedroom because of the delivery service you guys use. After speaking to the customer service department I was assured that it would be replaced and management in the delivery department will make sure nothing is wrong with the new pieces. SO I wait almost 2 weeks before it gets delivered again and go figure the damages are worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After speaking to a "supervisor" all he can tell me is that there is NO refund policy what so ever and that if I take a discount on the furniture he can try to get me 15% but that it would VOID the warranty. Are you serious?!?!?! What kind of company actually treats their customers like this? So basically I have no option of returning this furniture and have to wait again another 2 weeks for a new dresser to arrive and this time it is apparently suppose to be "double wrapped".
