On 12/15/2011 was given a room in the wing of ramada gateway hotel in kissimmee, fla. The t.v. Did not work, poor lighting and we had a view of a vacant building. T.v. Serviced and Fixed temporarily. On 12/16/11 there was a roach in bathroom. Service cleaned, insecticided and moved us to a tower room. This room was dirty, bathroom vent fan broken, fixtures in bathroom dirty and we had a view of a wall. If ramada wants good customers they should treat us more respectfully. I have pictures of roach, views of room inside and out. I would appreciate a response to this message

From reading the above complaints I guess Ramada people are not concerned with its patrons. My girlfriend and I had reservations at a Ramada Limited in San Francisco. First, I have a service dog. They said I couldn't stay there because I had a pet. I told them that ADA states that they cannot prevent me from having the dog. When they finally gave me a room they made us walk 2 flights of stairs. We are both handicapped and finally I decided I couldn't make it. We checked out but had to forfeit $118. I wish I would have read these comments beforehand. I will never get a get a room at another Ramada again.

Do you not read the complaints listed here? Do you not hear your patrons concerns? Evidently not. I'm shocked to see all the complaints and you do nothing. We just spent $200 for a night in you Flagstaff, AZ Hotel and what a pit. The bathroom had busted out grout that was filled with dirt and who knows what else next to the tub, the room was not clean smelling and the heater squealed all night but that did help drown out the interstate traffic noise directly outside our room. The continental breakfast was not what I expected for spending $200 to sleep in your facility. Maybe your CEO should go on the TV show Undercover Bosses and learn how filthy and undesirable your rooms are. We mentioned our complaints to the morning manager and did receive a nice "I'm sorry". If I have learned anything this morning it would be check out the blogs before booking a room! Thanks for the insight.

We booked through a travel site for one night room near LAX. We chose the 2-1/2 star hotel with fitness gym and a few extras that made the price very attractive. This turned out to be the Ramada Plaza Hotel LAX El Segundo site. The weight machines have large rusted bent spikes holding them together and the weights cannot be adjusted. The Front Desk clerk responded that Maintenance could come look at it but probably couldn't do anything about it. We took pictures and will be sending these to the travel site and Ramada Corporate. When we asked for the Manager, he is in only from 8-11 am Mon-Fri; there is no one with any authority other than these times. We are disappointed that this hotel continues to be offered by travel sites, and judging by all other comments on this site, Ramada needs to be removed from travel sites.

We were booked at the Ramada Inn in Morgan Hill, Calif for three days for a family reunion. The Carpet was so filthy that I was afraid to walk on it. There were food stains on the walls. So much dust had accumulated around the posts in the room that it had turned white, it was at least 1/2 inch thick. The toilet seat was chipped and filthy. I asked for the manager but told he would not arrive until after the weekend. While at the desk, I saw some other family members who were attending the family reunion too. They said that their rooms were filthy dirty too. We checked out after the first night and asked for a refund or at least a discount. We were told that they were not authorized but would have the manager call me. He never has. I took pictures of the room to verify my claims. How could a company like Ramada allow this? I am going to contact the Health Department to report this as I believe it is a health hazzard. If all the persons who have stayed at Ramada and found these conditions would also report them, it might help keep other unsuspecting customers from finding the same fate.

Ramada Inn in Galloway NJ. First during the recent Hurricane water was pouring in to the room on the Ground 126 We requested to be moved which they did to 426. However I booked the room for 8/27 and chech out 8/29.The reason I booked this reservation was because we were told to leave our home By the Governor of the state due to the huricane coming up the coast. However it was not as bad as it was supposed to be. We were aloud back in to our home the next day.I went to the front desk and they said because it was booked thru a third party the could not check us out unti the next day.I called Hotels.com and spoke to customer service and the called the hotel and said that they were going to charge for both nights. This is bullshit and poor customer service.I will contact my credit card compant and dispute the charges and they not get paid for any of it. I am willing to pay for one night but this unaccetacle and gives Ramada a bad name. I will make sure anyone that wants to stay in Galloway not to go to Ramada

We traveled to Shreveport Louisiana for a Family Emergency - Bereavement and through Obrbitz selected the Ramada Hotel Shreveport for our stay from July 14th through July 20th, and was horrified by the conditions of the Hotel. The hotel was a dive a true Hotel SLUM, not meeting standard human conditions of cleanliness or safety and should be closed down. This hotel was rated 3 stars on Orbitz which could not be further from the truth. The Showers had mold, toilet had yellow crustation from urine, there were pet paw prints on the wall, fleas, molding scratched and bitten up. Bed linens, pillows (yellow liquid stains), chairs, couches stained, soiled, torn, darkly discolored and smelled. Walls were soil with unknow substain, wall paper coming off the walls and walls had holds in them that were patched with no disguise. In addition, we experienced the wake up call to a fire alarm 6:30 AM due to the malfunctioning of a waffle maker on the first floor where we had to leave our hotel rooms and gather in the parking lot until addressed, this happened twice -consequetively. Unfortunately, Orbitz was not willing to help us find other accommodations, nor reimburse us. The Hotel then decided to move and upgrade us and these accommodations were worst then the original room conditions. In addition to conditions described above, we took on more worries with a dirty kitchenette that was an easy attraction for insects, there was graffetti on the furniture and the bathroom was full of mold, especially around the handicap rails in the shower. The upgrade to a suite was not acceptable and unfortunately we had to immediately search for alternative accommodations. I have taken pictures of both units to prove the conditions and my complaint. This was discusting and not at all acceptable for anyone. In addition, we were forced to pay for the Ramada stay complete and also pay for alternative accommodations due to the unacceptable and submarginal conditions of the Hotel. This was unfortunately a costly experience for my family, especially under the conditions of which we were traveling (bereavement) and the management team at the Hotel and Orbitz really disappointed us with not recognizing the issues with the Hotel, doing the right thing and rightfully refunding us. This Hotel was and resemble a Hotel Slum. We demand that this is looked into for the sack of other travelers and our Hotel cost and alternative cost for accommodations incurred to sustain our stay for our Father's Funeral is reviewed for re-imbursement. Where to start? We stayed at Ramada in Hampton VA. When we checked in the room was as if someone had just checked out. They moved us to another room. It was around 1:30am and I was exhausted after traveling all evening. My bed was full of sand!! It was like sleeping on sand paper. We asked for new bedding and was assured that a diffrent blanket would be sent up. We never got it. The cleaning staff sat on the stairs and spit sunflower seeds on to the sidewalk. Peolple would pull up off the street who were not guests and swim in the pool. One persons baby lost the contents of its diaper in the pool. The fire alarms were broken and the wiring capped off. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had!!!

Hello I want to complain about how misinformed and badly trained their customer service reps at the reservations desk at this particular location(Commerce,CA) on both the hotel payment arrangement and customer service skills resolving problems. I placed a reservation in person on Friday 6/17 for 12 days stay for one of my employee. I asked to issue upfront invoice, so we can pay by company check for 12 days an advance. The answer was the invoice can't be generated but I can calculate the total myself and pay at the end by company check. On Monday night on the 6/20 when employee tried to check in, the other rep told him that he can't check in without a credit card. On the phone rep told me that they will allow him to stay one night only and if I want him to stay more I have to come there myself and settle the matter and the company checks are not acceptable?!!!! When I asked her why I was not told the same on Friday by your other rep, the reply was "I don't know, she shouldn’t have promise you can pay by check" Not even trying to resolve the issue by maybe having a manger involved, just attitude of "take it or leave it" I have never heard of such a thing, when credit card given as a deposit and you been charge for one night automatically and refused to stay any longer although reservation was placed an advance!!!

We stayed at the Ramada in Newark, NJ near the airport. The place and the staff are HORRIBLE. Beginning with the elevators which are in need of repair on the inside. The room we stayed in has parts of the ceiling hanging down in the bathroom. The fitness center has torn up equipment. Also, the front desk staff has a nasty attitude. It's shameful that the Ramada name is attached to this facility.

We stayed at the Ramada Select at 226 N. Highland Ave.in Jackson, TN. What a major dump. The bathroom light fixture had blood stains on it; the television reception was unwatchable; the toilet seat was broken; the toilet was stained beyond redemption; and the bed spread had several, dark unidentifiable stains. The only redeeming factor was the lack of bed bugs - no bed bug with any character would stay in such a dump. RAMADA SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO PUT ITS NAME ON A FACILITY SO LACKING IN LIVABILITY. Then again, RAMADA HAS CHOSEN MEDIOCRITY AS ITS STANDARD OF OPERATION.

Latham NY hotel on rt.9 is dirty, unkept pool doesn't work, it's full of feces concrete is falling from the second floor and looks like it's been neglected for thirty years. Rooms don't get cleaned corporate should be embarrassed it is a filthy dirty nasty place. If it wasn't for the fact that I had to be there for work purposes I wouldn't be there at all. It is definitely no home away from home in the least likeliest sense of the word.

I just want to say how disappointed I am with the team at the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort in Fort Walton Beach Florida. You had a dsicount for paying in advance the 20% off stay. I was waiting for my Tax return to come in and I called and spoke to two seperate employees that gave me the same advice. They said book the room and pay the one night deposit then call back and book the whole stay to get the discount. I asked them how long the disount rate was going and if it would be ending soon. I was told it never ends and I could actually pay the whole stay the day before coming in and get the discount. Needless to say I was not in a hurry once i got my room reserved. Two weeks later I got my tax refund and went on line to book the stay agin and found the discount rate gone. I'm frustrated to no end and I'm making myself sick over this becuase it would have saved me 416. dollars. We are staying in late June to early July for 11 days and they will not let me prepay to get the discount. Please contact me at dauphd@charter.net I feel a disocunted rate to prepay should be honored in this case becuase they told me to book the room the way I did and I wold have found a way to prepay if I would have known the disount was going to end. Thay told me it would never end. Oh and it is still available on the website, just not for the dates I'm staying any longer.

FUCK RAMADA I WORK FOR THEMM DUMB FUCKS AND I MUST SAY THAT NOBODY COME TO THE RAMADA IN ELIZABETHTOWN...YOU WILL NEVER GET A REFUND NOR AN KINDA COMPENSATION FOR AN TERRIBLE STAY..NELLAM IS A BITCH AN IF SHE THINKS SHE GETTING READY TO TAKE THE MONEY OUTTA MY CHECK JUS CAUSE I GAVE A GUEST A REFUND SHE GOTTA ANOTHA THING COMING

NO STARS!!! We booked a room at the Ramada Center Hotel, 2313 Soldier Springs Road,Laramie, WY. on 05-25-11. This franchise should be revoked as this hotel is a disgrace to the Ramada name. We were given a room with the door handle broken - only safely operated from the inside, the stopper in the sink had to be repaired (by my husband) before it could be used, and the counter was dirty. The Lobby floor was full of holes; I believe at one time it was marble. There was a dirty BBQ pit sitting outside a few doors down from the lobby door with a half can of spoiled beans sitting on it. Had we not been exhaused and the time late, we would have cancelled and left to find other accomadations. I hope to contact Corporate with this information.

Over the weekend of May 6 th I stayed at the Ramada Inn in Barstow Ca and began itching and had red dots on my neck and face! Noticed bedbugs in sheets and mattress. Also shower head black with dirt. Still itching! Will not stay there again!

I booked 4 nights at the downtown Ramada Inn , Nashville, TN beginning May 6, 2011. The rat was 139.00 non-refundable. When we checked in and headed to our room I was already unimpressed. The hotel has old , worn, and stained chairs in the hallways. It got worse. We entered our room to find the dingiest accommodations I have ever experienced. The couch in the room was disgusting. It was stained beyond belief and dirty. The room was non-smoking but reeked of stale smoke and deodorizer used to mask the smell. The air conditioner did not work either. I would not have slept in the room if it was free. We were there for 30 minutes and had to leave. We promptly checked in to the downtown Hilton hotel. The website is very misleading... 3 stars, room service, ( I don't think there is a restaurant), 1/2 mile from city center .... If you can walk across the Cumberland river maybe but otherwise it is a mile and a half, After lodging a complaint to the manager I was refunded 3 nights but I was still charged for 1 night which is appalling. I think I should have been refunded in full and given an apology. I w

Regarding Stay 5/6 - 5/7 Saginaw Michigan When we arrived on Friday night it certainly was not under good circumstances - the front desk was not very hospitable. I gave the lady my name and she kept fidgeting - punched a few more keys asked my name again, asked my first name? I asked if there was a problem and she said we don't have a reservation for you? I gave her my reservation number and she still could not pull anything up and said that she was sorry that they did not have a room and I would have to go else where? I responded that I made reservations a few months ago with a block of rooms for a soccer team - then she said oh well hold on a minute - she made a phone call which she was on forever and then our team coach came up to the desk and said that apparantly Ramada installed in a new computer system and some how lost half the reservations? Not a very good system but this girl was still acting like it was my fault - I asked to speak to a manager and there was not one on duty - strange but the front desk girl said but I called her at home and if you don't mind sleeping with your daughter I can give you a king bed, but tomorrow I will have to move you? Of course I took what I could get again since the manager was on the phone I asked to speak to her again - Sandra got on the phone and said that she was comping my room. Ok I said and went on - the room was dirty - the cream bottle had been used - the shower had a big soap smudge on it - regardless we stayed and were being moved the next night. Left early for soccer, we heard that the hotel lost power - we had a late game so we kept calling the hotel to see what was going on - no answer all day once we got back there we were given two options - stay the night in the dark for half price or check out with no charges. Because of the risks involved in the dark with no running water, no toilets, we decided to check out. It only gets worse from here - we go to our room cannot see a thing - we ask Mike the gentleman in the hallway whom I am pruseming was a maintence man for a flash light and he yells down the hallway "Jesus Christ" lady settle down Excuse me I take great offense to that since I am a christian and I know Jesus as my lord and savior and don't appreciate someone using his mane in this manner? Settle down? Me and my fourteen year old daughter are trying to collect our personal belongings in the pitch black which again against health and fire codes we should have been escorted with a flashlight and someone on staff. Once we made it down to the front dest again - I asked for a flashlight since Mike was so rude. I was given one that did not even work - asked for a different one and felt like I was asking for a million dollars? these people treated us like we did something wrong. Finally getting all of our stuff out I went to the front dest to get my paperwork that said I was not being charged for anything since my first room was comped the second night I left because of your issues. Low and behold if I did not check my bank statement tonight and I have been charged for a room for last night? I don't have alot of money and this is tying up my funds - I called directly to Saginaw and they said a manager had to handle and once again there is not one on duty? what kind of place are you running there that no manager is available. I NEED to have this money put back into my account ASAP. Then we heard that because others bitched so much that Ramada Inn paid for their rooms at the Holiday Inn? Shouldn't all of our rooms been paid for since WE had to move and the inconveince - you people are sure lacking in customer service department. I hope that this credit to my account happens in a timely manner. Right now I am so frustrated that I want to tell everyone to NEVER book a room with you people. Again please respond promplty and resolve this issue.

Reserved a room from a Saturday to a Sunday in Moab, Utah. My husband and friends go every year. We live in Colorado and work starts Monday. When I phoned the actual hotel to make my reservation, I asked for a discounted rate and got it. With that the front desk person told me the Sunday night rate was even lower then the Saturday night rate. I explained we would not need that as we were only staying Saturday night. When we arrived at 3:05pm (check in is 3pm) our room was not ready. We asked for a key to the pool and sat around waiting. At 4:55pm we were finally able to get into the room. The room was clean and neat-so no problems there. We left the following day by noon as is required for check out time. I never went to the desk as now a days it isn't necessary for check out. On Monday I checked my bank account and saw I was charged for 2 nights stay. When I called the Moab reservations desk, I explained the situation. The young woman checked and her response was "well sorry but you signed the card". I explained that I didn't read it and just signed. She then told me well thats my responsibility and there was nothing she could do. Again I explained that I DID NOT reserve for 2 nights and DID NOT stay for 2 nights. Certainly there was something she could do. Her response was no. I asked for the manager-she told me she was the manager. I asked for someone above her-she told me there wasn't anyone above her. After some insistance, I did get customer service phone number. I called and explained everything again and was told I would hear back by 4/26. Today is 4/28 and I have heard nothing. I too work in an industry where customer service is paramount. If I don't do my job, then I am negligent. It is upsetting because I have always enjoyed this particular Ramanda and stayed there annually for 5+ years. Angela Petty-the office manager for this Ramada was rude. She told me after giving me the customer service phone number that it would not help because they would just route me back to her. She was not going to make any concessions. I replied her name suited her well....petty.

My nightmare began at the Central Ramanda Inn off of I-35 in Austin Texas. First the room was very small and lacked adequate furniture. The lounge chair had a hole in the arm. There was no bible in the room (bad sign). The clerks at the front desk were extremely rude. In the middle of the night at about 2:00 a.m. the air conditioner began to make a strange loud noise that I thought were crickets. It got so bad that I had to call the front desk. After the clerk told me that I should have said something earlier, she agreed to getting me a different room. So I moved to another room at about 2:30 a.m. That morning ( a few hours later) I got up to shower to begin my day and in the middle of my shower the water went from warm to freezing cold and then to super hot. That was it, I was ready to move to another hotel. I contacted Expedia, the company I reserved with, to see if they could accomodate me. They tried to get me moved or a refund. Ramada does not give refunds is what the final answer was. I will never stay at another Ramada Inn and you should not either. Expedia did give me a $50 gift card so I moved to the Hotel Conseulo the next day. The difference was like night and day! I still would like to have my money back from the Ramada Inn. It left me tramatized!
