Went to the St.Louis branch on Telegraph road to buy a CB antenna. Asked if they had it. The guy said yes and asked if I wanted to buy it. I said I'd like to see it to learn how it mounts. It was apparently too much trouble for him to get it from the back storage area. I asked how it mounts and he didn't know. He decided to look at the computer to see the answer.v It wasn't there. He let it go at that. Never offered to do any more, much less show the one they had. I drove 12 miles for nothing and when I called to speak to the store manager, guess what? It was him!!!

I went in to add aline to my att account at the radio shack ion basline and mcclintock in. Tempe az 85282 and told the sales guy bill stone I wanted to wait for the guy taylor who was helpping me before then bill said I had to open a new accout and couldnt wait for the other sales guy when asking bill what his name and managers name was he told me I had to leave and callex the cops all beacuse I wanted taylor to finish my sale because thats who I was working with a hour before. Bill would not give me his name I got it by asking taylor and listening to the lies he told the police. Talk about bad customer servce let alone gettin the police called because he was trying to say I HAD to open a new account when I have one already and making taylor lose his sale. I didnt know it was abuse to say youll wait for the other guy to help you I didnt know raido shack had such horrible people work for them until tobight Taylor was a wonderful help I wish I could of bought my phone with him like I wanted to. Sorry taylor u couldnt of had the sale and im sorry u have to work with someone,like bill its people like bill that make your sales go down nd make u lose customers

I went to the Radio Shack store located on 12522 Central Ave Chino Ca 91710 to buy a tablet and I frist called the store to make sure they had the model in stock and also to try it out. Thec sales person stated thatb they had thec model in stock and I could try one. So I went to the store and NO they sad I would have to wait for the tablet to charge because the battery was dead

I purchased a TVears from the local Radio Shack in San Diego Rancho Bernardo . The Item was not what i expected/I was assured that it had soundclarification but this was not true. I wanted to return this item /had my saleslip box all papers regarding this iwas packed in the original box and i thought that was al that was needed. Unfortunately i used my Mastercard .which i lost a few days later. my credit company put a stop on all purchases and issued me a new card same account but a different accountnumber. Radio Shack did not accept this and tried to issue a Giftcertificate. I refused and as of now i still have the unsatisfied TVears in my possesion. Well, we showed up at 10 and the girl didnt open the door until 20 after, even though she was here the whole time. After she did, she looked at us and said that there wasn't anything in the store that we needed that badly. Great customer service, I swear. From the store in calera, Alabama.

I have a college student at the university of Maryland he went into your store at prince George mall and paid our bills he paid in cash AT&T shows it was paid but reverse back 2 the store the same day so I am out 400 bucks because we can't find the receit this happen on the 13th and still nothing has been done about it.

we had requested a long time ago that the account with citi should be closed out. We got a notice that I do not have handy right now that the account is still open? I already threw the card away so I do not have that, but the address is: 6838 vail drive, hamburg, ny 14075 - please - again - close any accounts in the padovani name - myself and or Lisa my wife (may have been joint) but I was the primary card holder. I am also contacting the 3 credit agencies to report that I have requested more than once that the account be closed - please handle asap

We purchased a refurbished computer from R.S in Concorde, N.C. with a 2 yr. warranty for our daughter to go to college and from there on it was a problem. First the battery would not hold a charge and the keyboard was messing up they replaced that but it was still giving problems we took it back and they claimed that it was water logged but what really got me peeved was when the manager Niko insinuated that my daughter went into the shower with the computer. What a moron this manager is to say that to me and for me to think my daughter will take the computer go and shower with it. If that does not take the cake. Sad to say they have not repaired it & refuse to do so, now I'm left out in the cold with a messed up computer and a complete dislike and contempt for them. Spread the word like i am doing do not buy from radio shack. That is why you have these sit in because people are tired of being messed around. Don't buy from radio shack.

Just writing to alert you to the fact that neither I nor any of my family will be patronizing any Radio Shack stores this Christmas Season. This is due to the fact that Radio Shack has elected to change their advertising from Christmas to Holiday. Until such time as you include Christmas in your advertising, we will not be shopping with you. In addition, we will be alerting all of our friends of your stance on this important matter. I purchased a converter plug from Radio Shack to use in Israel.The package said Israel. It did not work in Israel. Wrong configuration. I went back to Radio Shack to return it. The clerk DMJ, could not get the computer to issue a refund. Told me to come back when the Manager was there. I told him I did not live near Radio Shack, he said find one nearer to me.I was within the 30 day return window. I went back to the store a couple of weeks later, he still could not make the refund, I asked for the Mgr. who was not there, and not known when she would be. The other clerk, mumbled, she is never here. I demanded a refund, DMJ said, "with that attitude you will never get a refund, and besides you are outside the 30 day window now." I pointed out that the paper he gave me last time had the proper date on it so that I was in the Window of time and I want a refund. He ordered my husband and I out of "his" store. I said I would like to see or talk to a manager. He said she is not here, get out of MY store. He screamed that 3 times. I said he would be hearing more about this...his reply was I don't care who you write, Get out of MY store. We left.

This company had meaning in the past. They are now all about staying in business. It's so bad that I was fired on the 8th of October and still haven't seen my last pay check. My hours for my last week mysteriously disappeared. When I told the DM he said it wasn't his problem. When I tried to get HR involved they said it was up to the DM. The store I was running had counters that would scratch the customers. The rug was all stained up. Once in a while a bad smell would come to the store. The back room was so dusty that my sinus was constantly stuff(no matter how much I cleaned). I was suppose to run this store for a short period but they went through three different DM that it didnt mean anything now. I was driving 1hr to the store and another hr home. Not only that the pay for a manager was poor especially for the drive and long hours. The more the manager work the more that was saved on payroll. Some weeks I worked for about 60hrs plus 12hrs in driving time without any appriciation. I leave home while my children was still sleeping and by the time I got home they where already in bed. With only one day a week to really spend time with them wasn't enough for me. All I wanted was to tranfer to a store closer to home as an associate. All the stress and driving was making me go crazy. Now I'm jobless and want my last paycheck and can't get in contact with higher level. If you really want to get into wireless sales go to the real companies like sprint or verizon and even ATT because they pay there full-time associates as much as Radioshack manager get paid. Unless Radioshack starts giving more time into pride and less time about there money they eventually sell off.

Hello; i went into the Radio shack in Alex., Va in the Belleview Shopping Center off Ft Hunt Road zip zode 22307 and first thing i noticed when i walked in the help DID NOT EVEN HAVE A SMILE ON HIS FACE AND DIDN'T EVEN SAY MAY I HELP U AND THE MANAGER'S WERE JUST AS BAD THEY JUST STOOD BEHIND THE COUNTER I NEVER FELT SO UNAPPRECIATED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE AND NEVER NEVER WILL I GO INTO THAT TERRIBLE PLACE AGAIN; FIRST OF ALL I WAS LOOKING FOR A BATTERY AND THE NOT SO HAPPY FELLA THAT IF U SO CALLED WORKED THERE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE ENERGY TO LOOK FOR THE BATTERIES COULDN'T EVEN TELL JUST BY LOOKING AT THEM THAT THEY WERE NOT THE RIGHT SIZE HE NEEDS TO HAVE HIS EYE'S CHECKED AND SECOND OF ALL HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHERE THE IPODS WERE HE HAD TO ASK THE MANAGERS AND THEY TOLD HIM THEY WERE IN THE CATALOG CLOSE TO THE FRONT AND I AM SURPRISED HE WAS ABLE TO FIND THE CATALOG AS SLOW AS HE WAS AND THEN THEY DIDN'T APPEAL TO ME AND I THINK RADIO SHACK NEEDS TO FIVE ME SOMETHING FOR MY EMBARRASSED AND I DO MEAN EMBARRASSED LOST TIME SPEND WITH THAT MAN IN THAT SO CALLED STORE AND HOW THESE PEOPLE CAN GIVE RADIO SHACK A GOOD RATING IS BEYOND ME. I purchased a $220 LG Neon II phone 40 days ago from Radio Shack online. To put it mildly, the phone stinks. I can sometimes call it while standing next to it and it doesn't ring, even though it's ringing from the phone I'm calling it from. Sometimes it turns off by itself too. It's not broken. It does sometimes work. But much of the time just doesn't receive calls. It's for our babysitter so we need to be able to reach her. When I called Radio Shack customer service to exchange it for a more expensive Blackberry, they said it was past the 30 days of the order date?. I said, "but the phone doesn't ring sometimes;. You're telling me that 40 days after ordering, I'm out of luck and stuck with a $220 piece of junk?" To which, they answered, "yes?." I asked to speak to a supervisor but they told me no one was available". Horrible customer service is an understatement?. Especially since I was ready to buy a more expensive phone in exchange.. Never buying from Radio Shack again. And will be sure to spread the word.

I am trying to purchase a cell phone at your location at 9473 West Atlantic Blvd, Coral Square Shp Ctr, Coral Springs - (954) 755-4229. I call the store and asked if they carried a specific phone a boost curve 8350 and was told to hold while they checked. After 7 minutes no one came back on the phone to answer my question. I called back a second time and spoke to Bill and told him I spoke to a lady who said she would check and see if they carry the phone. Bill stated they have the phone and I asked for a price, to which Bill said I will get it for you. He never returned to the phone. I called again and the first lady picked up and I asked her for a price since Bill said they have the phone and she told me they are very busy, I explained that this was the 3rd call can I speak with a manager, she said she is the manager, I told her I wanted a price so I can pick up the phone, she then tells me we do not carry the phone. Radio Shack must be doing well in this economy. I purchased the phone at a Boost Mobile store.

Indianapolis, Indiana. I was in the process of being hired on by Radioshack for an Assistant Store Manager position. Approved by the store mananger, and then was constantly resceduled for interviews with the district mananger. The District mananger cancelled on me 5 times!!! Finally interviewed with him, he was over an hour late! Was told by the Store mananger several days later he was waiting on aproval to schedule me, told me even to come in and do the paperwork. But decided last minute not to for some odd reason. Then I played phone tag with them for a good month and half, the store mananger had yet to know what the district manangers decision was on the matter. Being this Store mananger had no co manangers or leads, he was helplessly relying off of managers from other stores. He also refused to take on a manager from another store because he wanted to choose his own management staff out of fear of the managers being worthless. Heard on the grapevine from someone i know that they were being hired for the assistant managment job, just interviewed with the district mananger. supposedly the guy(district mananger) just loved her and was so nice to her(when he was a total deuche from the beginning with me.) I warned the Store mananger to not hire her, being i knew her job history and that she was even lying on her resume, claiming management experience, when she had none!!! SHE WAS HIRED BY THE DUMB ASS DISTRICT MANAGER! He was questioning my practices, being an observant jew, i wear a yarmalk all the time, and tzitzits(fringes hanging from my waist) as well unable to work friday nights and saturdays(daytime before sunset). I have never heard of retail having a problem with this, being it is of religious purposes. I even said I had no problem with working all Saturday nights and Sundays! I am used to it. BUT NO, ALL THE DISTRICT MANAGER WANTED WAS SOME TAIL!!! I will never work in a operation with him, ever!!! THEIR HIRING PROCESS WAS A JOKE!

Did any of you morons ever think for one second that this is the fault of the company and not the employees you deal with? If you don't know, all associates make minimum wage. Now I don't know about you, but when you do all the work and all the corporate big wigs get all the money, that is no way to motivate your employees. They treat everyone as if they are easily replaceable. Micromanagement is a thing of the past. If this trend continues, then Radioshack will be a company of the past. The only reason they are even in business still is because they are riding the coat tails of the wireless phone industry. So maybe next time you walk into a radioshack you should just turn around and walk right back out. or better yet call corporate and demand an explanation for the downfall of such a once righteous company. Fire all upper management and thats when the change will begin, but I highly doubt that this company will recover from such dismal customer service history.

there needs to be a no stars option. after buyina a screen protector from a Suffolk County,NY store in Waverly Plaza,Patchogue,it did not stay on after 2 days. the manager named chris gave me the rudest answer (and incorrect to boot!). i had bought this item for my iphone4 4 days ago, and was told to contact the maker, that it has a lifetime warranty. this is true only if bought from the makers web site, and if item is not discontinued, which it is, and which i didn't. i will now try to call corporate to see if that helps. oh yeah, he wanted packing materials before he would issue a refund, like anyone keeps them after a day or so. nice way out,Shack...

I have not yet met an employee of Radio shack, save one, that is knowledgable, friendly, or even willing to help you. I went to 5 stores looking for my telephone battery. Had number in hand, radio shacks number, and they just looked at it and said we don't have it. Oh, one looked it up on their computer and said the store at Anaheim plaza has it, so I went there. Asked for the battery, they said we don't have it, and told me I should have called first. Guess the lady at the first store was to lazy to call them. Come to find out after several trips to one store that they discontinued that particular number but there is a replacement number. Mr "save one" verified it is the replacement and then charged me twice the price it showed on the computer screen, because I had come into the store to buy it rather than order it on line. Give me a break. Radio shack will not EVER be seeing my business again. I tried to locate a "if you have any concerns or questions 800 number" on the reciept, like most stores do, but couldn't find any--what a shocker!!! Then I tried to locate a "contact us" e-mail on the computer for them at their web site-- COULDN'T FIND THAT EITHER!!!! Can't wait untill I see the going out of business sign at all their stores. Hope it is soon. They deserve it.
