I have been trading with Publix exclusively for many years and have no complaints. The only complaint I have is with Bumblebee White Chunk Albacore Tuna. I have bought it in the past but the last cans I bought were disgusting. There wasn't any white tuna and I'm not sure just what was in the can, but it was a gray mushy mess. I took the other cans back to Publix and they refunded my money, just as I knew they would. Please take Bumblebee Tuna off your shelves. I have been buying it for many years since they were first to fix their nets so that porpoises can escape from drowning. I won't ever buy another can.

I have shopped at Publix for over 30 yrs., mostly because it is close. In the past couple of years, I have noticed how they put much of their effort into their customers & little or no care to their employees who represent them. Having been an employer for 40 yrs.,I know if treat your employees with diginity & respect, that effort will show in their work performace. There are cameras in the office watching every move made, no real problem with that. But, I personally know several of their employees from 2 different Publix stores & I can tell you that if they look crosseyed, they are called into the office, chastised & written up. Each write up goes against their record & can result in not getting a raise or firing. The rule of baggers to put their hand on the shopping cart & practically insisting that they help customers out with their groceries is annoying to me & friends I have asked regarding how they feel about this. Employees get called in for not following that rule. Yet,I often have had managers bag my groceries & not touch my cart or ask if I wanted help out. One friend said "I feel like I am in the military, they call me in about every nit picking thing." Publix should train their managers in the proper treatment of their employees. I work with the elderly & can say with experience, that a simple smile goes a very long way. Wake up Publix, your employees are people too.

I love the Publix Pharmacist in Brentwood,Tn off Old Hickory Blvd--Dawn and China always make my day whenever I go in there. They are sooo personable and caring to each one of their customers. It is soo nice going in and they ask How you are doing or how are the kids--love love them!!! but today I went to the Publix in Bellevue,Tn off of Highway 70 south--WHEW what a differance--the Pharmacist name MONROE--- has to be the rudest Pharmacist I have come across--I called that pharmacy to refill a perscription bc I had one refill left mind u (on the bottle it said last date filled 3-7-2012 1 refill left until 4-21-2012-- over the phone the tech let me know there was 1 refill left but when I got there MONROE said that I didnt have any refills--sooo I kept trying to understand but he kept bickering with me--so I just said "I am really sorry I just want to understand" WHEW he said there was nothing he could do and I even brought the bottle in--soooooo here is the kicker--I called China at the Brentwood location and she said she would call him to release the perscription--so she could see it well what do ya know there it was 1 REFILL left! soo needless to say I will not be going back to that pharmacy in bellevue-- awful customer service by MONROE--you should be ashamed of yourself!!!!

I've been a customer of publix for a very long time for the great service at the grocery store. However there pharmacy is a joke and very disrespectful to me and in no way are they trying to help me at all ever. I have had chronic back problems and a serious spinal injury and I'm required to get a controlled medication and publix always shuts me down and never fills my prescription. They always say they don't have it and have ordered it but months go by and they never fill my prescription. This is such discrimination, it makes no sense having such a good grocery store but such a bad pharmacy that doesn't care about you.

I called up the store to get informed if I am qualified for a position but I never get an answer from the Publix Jefferson Super Center store manager. I would like to get informed why I am discriminated by the Publix Jefferson Super Center store manager. The Publix Jefferson Super Center store manager hires employees in a daily bases but I never get a job interview by the store manager. I am asking the Publix Markets Corporate Office Headquarters representative to investigate why I am not qualified for a job interview at the Publix Jefferson Super Center or another Publix store. The manager from the Publix Jefferson Super Center who is Lazaro Leal is talking nasty with me when I go to the Publix to do some shopping. I would like to express my deepest thanks to Publix. I went to the Publix on Neptune tonight to pick up somemore Excedrine Migraine because my son and I get migraines. I could not find this product, so I asked your Pharmacist. She stated that this product had been pulled off of your shelfs, and I needed to go home to do research to find out the reason why. Since I knew that this was not good customer service skills, I went to your manager, Pat, to explain the situation. I told him that my son was my concern and priority in life, and I needed to know this information. He stated that he totally understood, and he went out of his way to find out this answer that I needed to know before I left the store. Since he took the time to build a trusting, honest, understanding, caring relationship in that short period of time, I now have a new perception of this store, and I know that I can come back to Pat for any answer that I will need to know in the future. I thank you for hiring Pat. He knows what it means to have good customer service skills. Building good relationships with your customers is essential in any business. Pat knows this! Thanks for hiring him. He is a keeper. Since he took the time to help me, I am taking the time to compliment him and to tell you that you have a great employee in Pat! Thanks again!

I beleive that your "apron kiosk cook" and the store manager on dury on Feb 8, 2012 and 5:15 pm in the store at 1555 S. Highland Ave., Largo, Fl, need some customer service training. When I returned for another taste of a dish being prepared, I was told rather abruptly (no hello, no smile, etc.) that only one taste per customer was permitted. (Yet, a school girl of about age nine was enjoying her taste). When I explained to the manager on duty what had happened, it indicated that the employee was correct and that sometimes they believed to be feeding people a meal. (Really?) I then had to shoot back that perhaps that customers were treated more respectfully in the stores located in higher economic neighborhoods. I had expected a coupon or an apology. I truly hope that these employees never have their grandma treated poorly in one of their stores. I have no intention of returning to that store, ever.

The last two times we have purchased chicken (legs and thighs) from Publix in Apopka florida we have thrown it away as it smelled like wet chicken feathers....has anyone else experienced this?????

I was in the publix on cortex and 43rd in Bradenton, Fla. on 12/25/2012. The store was quite usy and I had been standing in line for some time. A young lady a Miss Dana came to me and directed me to another register. The register was a 10 item or less and I had way more than 10 items. There were no other customers either. As Miss Dana and I were just about finished there was a couple that had come to the register and was making snide remarks about the amount of items I had. At the time nothing was said to these people, as I was walking away the woman said does that woman not read this is a 10 item or less line. Miss Dana apologized and explained to her that she had brought me over to help speed things along. You have a jewel there in Dana. She cares about the customer. You need alot more like her. Oh by the way this other woman while she was walkkng away made the comment she was going to file a complaint on that CASHIER Im assuming on Dana. I could shop the Bayshore Publix but I like the way Lm treated and the cleanliness of your store. I have been wrestling with this delimma and I feel Dana should be praised. . treated and

I am very concerned about Publix discontinuing items that I purchase every week. Will continue to go there but now I'm having to shop at Bi-Lo also. Publix has discontinued Stretch-Tite which is the best plastic wrap on the market in my opinion and also Horizon 1 percent milk in the past few weeks. Rearranged the store last year and dropped about a 1/2 dozen items that I buy. Don't get me wrong I love your stores and the people. It's like going to "Cheers". Everyone knows your name:)) The two stores I'm talking about are located in Simpsonville, South Carolina and Mauldin, South Carolina.

I moved from Florida to Colorado 2 years ago. I always shopped at Publix especially for their, cakes, subs, and publix brand powdered iced tea. My family lives in Florida and ordered a case of tea to bring me plus 2 extra cans. Well a lady called them up from Publix off us301 in Palmetto and said that Publix is discontinuing their store brand powdered iced tea...................................WHY would you do this????? I have been drinking that tea since I was a little child and now it is going to be discontinued?????? I'm so sad. My family brings me this tea when they visit, as a matter of fact my husband and I told everyone to visit us they have to bring us a can or more of this tea. Please dont discontinue it...the tea sold here in Colorado sucks. I love your store and give it 5 stars but I am giving you 1 star because you are discontinuing the tea

1 star for today 12-29-2011 temp pharmacist not only treated me poorly, but he violated HIPAA laws by giving out 6 months of my prescription history to a grocery manager who was the only one on duty that could help me with this particular pharmacist. He's been a pharmacist for 15yrs he later told me - when the grocery manager called me he could tell me to the exact number and name of my prescriptions over a 6 month period. I have been a customer of Publix for over a decade [rarely if ever shopping anywhere else] and also a customer of this pharmacy for approx 7yrs. 99.9% of the time I receive top level service from the staff [which can be hard when you are a chronic pain patient - many stores give you funny looks and treat you as a criminal] which is exactly what Mr P Patel had done today. Right off the bat we had a communication error when I asked if he was "new" [to the store] or just filling in. He took offense and told me to come back when he wasn't on duty. I thought everything was cleared up until my jaw hit the floor when the grocery manager called to not only let me know what was going on with 2 of my prescriptions but giving out 6 months of my history was just beyond the pale. I love my regular pharmacists and the store over all has always treated me with great service. Having worked in customer service and being damn good at it - I expect excellent customer service in return. Unbelievable! Can't imagine how I would be treated in a Publix in another area that didnt know me even though all stores pharmacy information is available. Sensitivity training and HIPAA guidelines obviously required for some staff.

This is for the regular pharmacy staff (Erin, Leslie and Gwenn), managers, Pharmacy techs, baggers, grocery service, Apron service (Richard) and store manager Mike Youngblood. I shop no where else and use no other pharmacy because of the stellar service I receive and the care given. Though I had to leave the store in tears due to a fill in pharmacist (see 1 star review) that is far from the normal service received. (Even with fill in Pharmacists in the past). The store is clean, the bakery stocked and fresh, Deli, produce, grocery and all other areas always top quality and selections - Thank you

I am very emotional. A 6 year old little girl died two Sundays ago, due to her mother being deported. Tomorrow is her funeral in Fort Myers. I want to thank the Publix stores on Delprado ave Cape Coral and Orange grove in North Fort myers for donating flowers for the little girls funeral. Thank you so much. Madeline Carr Cape Coral

WHY IS OUR LOCAL PUBLIX AFRAID TO DISPLAY ANY SYMBOLS OF THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY AND WHY DOES THEIR MANAGEMENT FORBID EMPLOYEES TO WISH PATRONS A MERRY CHISTMAS OR EVEN SAY "GOD BLESS YOU; IF SOMEONE SNEEZES??\ PRETTY SAD SITUTATION HERE IN THE UNITED STATES. MAYBE THEYS NEED A NEW MANAGER AT THE CORPORATE LEVEL-SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES IN GOD!

Dr. Emily Zollner is the most compasionate, dedicated Pharmacist I have ever come in contact with. She recently helped me with a problem I experienced. She is cares deeply about the quality of her work. She works well the elderly. She is an asset to Publix and I hope she is valued and appreciated. She gets 10 stars.

I live in Savannah Ga. and I am a regular customer at Publix located in the Twelve Oaks Shopping Twelve Center. The store is always clean and the cashiers greets you with a smile; however' when I get to the Deli, the smiles turn to frowns and all of a sudden, I could feel a cloud over the store. The ladies at the Deli are so rude and disrespectful. If you ask them the difference between one brand verses another brand you could hear them gnash their teeth. They snaps out you with an answer, they roll their eyes and put their hands on their hips. I have talked with the head manager who told me to search for him when I come back to the office and he would wail on me. I told him, I should not have to any of that when I am patronizing your store and that he should reprimand the employees for treating me with disrespect. He said he would take care of it but the problem continued. I wrote the home office and they contacted the store in Savannah. The Savannah branch manager called me and apologize but that was it. I was hurt and disappointed in a store that is so clean and impressionable on the outside but dirty and uncaring in the inside.

Every time I visit your bakery department I become a little upset, with the quality of your bread. Its always soggy esp. kaiser rolls and french bagettes Bread of this kind should be crusty. not soggy. Who ever thought of packaging your bread in plastic, should be shot , and needs to go back to baking school. At one time Publics baked goods were excellent. Now they are expensive and substandard. Presently, I go seven miles out of my way to a local french bakery to purchase quality bread. R. Orta
