Oh where are the 0 stars? This bank lost our paperwork 3 times when we tried to refinance. So we paid off half the loan, went to another bank to refinance and the new bank can't get a payoff amount from PNC. We have been at this for over 2 months. I hope Richard Cordray is reading all of these comments. (He is the new consumer affairs chief for Obama. I'm sending him a heads up about it.

I give Donna Goerlach in deposit services a 5 star rating on her work ethics, she was professional as well as understanding. Thanks Donna

I had an installment loan originally with National City Bank and everything was fine. Then PNC bank purchased them and that's when my problems started. I will say I was late w/ some payments but I have paid ALL late fees and have been even paying a little more each month to pay it off. Original loan was 120 payments as of October 2011 I made 118 payments and over $2000.00 of what the final dollar amount was to be - this amount was AFTER I subtracted the late fees and PNC says I still owe! This is crazy and I do have a lawyer looking into this matter. If anyone asked me if I would recommend PNC bank I would give them a HE** NO!!! The phone service really sucks! If you are not an account holder and wanted some info about their services you would need to go into a branch because you need an ID as well as a password to talk to someone on the phone!!

OMG! PNC bank took back a home due to foreclosure in a sheriff sale in my county and my neighborhood. The kids of the prior home owner keep coming back and using their keys to party. I, as a good citizen, decided to "TRY" to reach PNC to let them know that this is going on inside the vacant property that they now own. I tried for one hour to call a number, any number, to reach a human being. I called the headquarters in Pa., I called a number in Ohio, I called a Re-max agent in the area that has other PNC listings. No one was answering their telephones! When I did reach someone, I was disconnected after being on hold for over twenty minutes! MY SUGGESTION TO YOU IS, IF YOU "WANT" A BANK THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN BEING, PNC IS NOT THE ONE! Please PNC, when you take back a home due to foreclosure, ("HINT"), you might want to change the locks immediately. Oh well, I did my part, I tried.

I wish I could give PNC Bank 0 stars but since the lowest is 1, I will send 1 star for POOR. I used to be a Business Banker for PNC Bank. After working with the company for just over a year, I had opened a LLC account for the first time. After I opened the account as I thought I should, I went to the Branch Manager (BM) of the branch for which I opened the account to check that I had collected all the documents needed. The BM informed me that I was missing a document. So, I called the business customer to let them know we needed a copy. The customer said they would provide a copy by week's end. The next day, I receive a call from HR Manager that I am suspended from my job so that an investigation can be done. During suspension, I was accused by HR Manager of opening this account with intent of personal gain. I explained that I did not realize the document was needed because no one had trained me it was. The HR Manager said that I had received the training so they told me I was lying and terminated me. I applied for and received unemployment. A month after receiving unemployment, PNC Bank tried to appeal my unemployment; however, when I brought my case before the court, it was evident that 2 Employee Handbooks existed because the HR Manager and the Business Banking Regional Manager (BBRM) had 2 versions of the same Handbook in court. Neither of them said that this document was required for opening a LLC account. The BBRM notably argued that every BB knew they must collect this document even though I was never informed of this information until after the new LLC account was opened. I won the appeal case and then was employed by another company just 2 months after being terminated from PNC Bank. However, I was completely dissatisfied with how PNC Bank treats their employees and would NEVER recommend anyone to work or bank with PNC Bank as a result of how I was treated.

I was very happy with pnc while i had just a checkings and saving acct. Last month i went to the bank with my fiance and opened a joint acct and the rep set us up on the vitural wallet accts. He explained to us that the spend and reserve where attached accounts and gave us a new check book. well i wrote a check on my last day at my apartment and moved out of state where there are no pnc locations. I just checked my acct yesterday and saw that i got an overdraft because the check bounced. well i called customer service who explained that the reserve acct does back up the spend but not the other way around, he understood that the information i had recieved was incorrect and credited the od charges but that left me with 1.98 negative balance. since i was not anywhere near the pnc he said i could make a deposit at any banks atm. so i tried at 3 different banks yesterday and that was also incorroect. i called back today and this rep said i had to have someone in indiana go into a pnc and make a deposit into my acct for me but all locations are closed, now i am building up od charges EVERYDAY when i put forth an effort to fix this and its all been information that has been incorrectly given that has caused this problem. DO NOT USE PNC

I have been with PNC since i opened my first account up. They need better customer service, they are ignorant and rude. I didnt have enough cash in my account to cover a check and i asked her to deposit it as cash in my account, and she said she couldnt. BUT MEANWHILE; other pnc banks have no problem doing it for me. What is the big deal!!? I had to pay hospital bills and now my credit score is getting screwed up because of pnc. I WANT THE CORPORATE OFFICES EMAIL!

I have been with PNC Mortgage almost 4 years and never had one late payment until this month (according to their practices), and this is how they did it. I refinanced my home in Feb of last year for a lower interest rate. The process started in November and was suppose to close in December. They established my monthly payment and I paid them. We received a letter from a firm that they recommended (NBA) to do a biweekly payment (direct deposit) and it would accelerate our pay off date. We did. So, every two week money was withdrawn from our account and paid to PNC. Well, A letter was mailed in December saying that our escrow account was short. There was no explanation why. I called and stay on hold for 30 minute trying to talk with customer service. Long story short, the direct deposit was made. PNC sent us a check back (short $180 for late fees) and said they don't accept partial payments. By the time I received the letter they had also reported to the credit bureau. The customer rep (Kassandra) was very nasty and short. However, this isn't over. I will fight this poor business practice starting by moving my loan from them.

Would pick zero stars if I could! Horrible, idiotic customer service! Applied for a one month deferrment on our home equity loan, was told it would be no problem and we would get a letter of approval in 10 days. (We did this two years ago with no problems). One day before loan was due we got a denial letter! It stated I did not give any reason for hardship, which I most certainly did! The idiot rep never put it in! I called back, talked to someone else, did the whole process again! Now it is one day AFTER our payment is due and I have heard NOTHING! I called last week, got the original woman I talked to on the phone, she was a total lying B***H! I asked to talk to a manager or higher up. She put me on hold, which I was on for 23 minutes until someone picked up and disconnected me! Tried calling again today, the automated system is STILL screwed up (has been for two months). Finally got a guy on the phone who "transferred me to the correct department". Was on hold for 18 minutes and just got disconnected AGAIN! DO NOT USE PNC!!! Horrible! I am just going to wait until they call me when they don't recieve this months payment!

I would give pnc a zero if I could. I made the mistake of applying for a mortgage with them. They guaranteed us a closing date of 60 days, but 90 days later we still haven't closed and I've had to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket for my family to live out of a hotel. We are in jeopardy of loosing the home we've worked so hard to buy and thousands of dollars in earnest money because pnc loan officers are lazy, incompetent, and irresponsible. Our loan officer lies to us every time we talk to him. His supervisor doesn't hold him accountable for anything and also does nothing to help us. Pnc is a horrible bank. Do not do business with them. Do not trust them with your money. They are the poster child for the greed and corruption that is destroying America.

worst bank I've ever dealt with. No customer support. When you get ahold of ranking official to solve a problem in their organization they won't get back to you in a timely fashion. They are quick to debit and forever to credit. Don't even think about using this bank.

I give them a single star only because there is no option for a ZERO. I learned years ago that PNC Bank has its own rule book on Federal Banking Policies and they consider themselves to BE the law. This was when my VERY affluent son-in-law from Britain decided to purchase my daughter (his wife) a car that he considered to be a "learn to drive" car. He did not care if she dinged it by accident and it only cost $6,247 and change. He wired this amount to my PNC account through Pay Pal from Great Britain since my daughter had not set up her own account yet. Much to his surprise and mine the money was immediately seized by the branch manager and I was reported for FRAUD. The branch manager said he did this because I did not "look like the sort of person who would know anyone but criminals that had that kind of money"!!! Six months worth of a Federal investigation later, not to mention almost causing an international incident (son-in-law is in the House of Lords) the money was released without any "gee sorry we told your friends, neighbors, boss, landlord that you were a suspected criminal." So it is no surprise to me that when my 77 year old mother who banks with PNC needed to establish a Financial Power of Attorney, with me as AIF we were told that the form from the Ohio Revised Code website would have to be researched by their legal department before they would accept it. 24 hrs later I was called and told that PNC would NOT honor this legally executed, witnessed and notarized FPOA because it makes no provision for the event of disability. Apparently their lawyers do not know the difference between a Financial Power of Attorney and a DURABLE Power of attorney. I am sure the State Attorney General for Ohio will be happy to hear that PNC wants to rewrite the Ohio Revised Code 1337.02. In the mean time my mother's 3 credit cards are charged to the max by very well known senior citizen scammers to the tune of more than $5,000 and its going up every day.

I am requesting an independent Foreclosure Review through the Federal Government against PNC bank and Bank of America, as they put the incorrect legal description on our 2 separate Deed Of Trusts. I am also filing a complaint with the US Attorney Generals Office, as well as the Arizona Attorney Generals office. This is definitely a Federal Comptroller issue.

i asked the bank to suspend an automatic payment due to my financial siuation and the rep did suspend it but then just because i made a payment that same day it automaticaly reinstazted the auto payment and consequently they took it out anyway....i did not know that stupid customer service acts like i should have klnown this....now i have all these bounced checks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cauduing me further finsncial setbacks!!!!!!!!!!!!

I refinanced my home with PNC, they carried the original mortage for my house and 40 acres(did this in Sept 2011. Now I find out they morgaged my house and 148 1/2 acres and 40 of those acres were sold a year ago. Called and talked to Customer Service ( what a joke ) and they looked up the original loan and compared it to the present loan and guess what, they mortaged property that was free and clear and did not follow the legal on the original loan. But they had to go to research and that takes 7 to 10 days. Isn't that grand, this is something that would take a normal person 10 minutes to do and to clear up. If I had screwede up like that I would take immediate steps to have it cleared up for my customer. PNC Bank has the poorest customer service, next to GMC that I've ever seen.

It is worst customer service I have seen in my life. My bank location is in Evanston Illinois. Today is one month since I have apllied for the personal loan.(usually it take 1-3 day for appling and approving). They never do what they promise to do. They fool customers!!!! I can not reach branch manager, because she always has personal issues, never calls back, nobody cares about customers. Is there any federal or state inspections for this kind of things???? Please let me know who knows how to struggle with them!!!!

I'd give this bank a ZERO star rating if the box would allow. Customer service is horrible, you can never speak to a supervisor and I truly believe their goal is to frustrate you to the point of giving up. I had an auto loan through this bank. If it was so much as a day late, reps would call every 20 minutes from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week to remind you -- and after they received payment they would continue to call wanting to know why it was late. Harassment at its finest. Most of the time, the payment was late because it was made online and THEY controlled the "schedule" for payment. ONE TIME it was late due to waiting for a check to clear on my end. Oy Vey. Long story short, I refinanced the balance of my loan (one year) with a local credit union. Run fast and far away from this bank. It's deplorable.

Put in an offer to purchase an aircraft this bank repossessed, took the uncaring idiot in charge 5 weeks to respond with a counter offer that was 250K higher. While waiting (again) for my request for the maintenance info they said was on the way they sold the plane for 200K less than my original offer ! Isn't there a law against this ? Doesn't help matters when it turns out that the company in charge of managing all of this banks aircraft in PA is operated by one of the banks officers own kid, and the other company that they have lined up to handle the advertising and paperwork is this guys old running buddy that also handles all his personal airplane deals as well ! And good luck trying to get any of those incompetent idiots to respond to emails or phone messages. nice !

This bank bought out another bank here in Pennsylvania. We had been promised by the first bank Omega that we would get a lower interest rate on a business loan if we couldn't keep up with the high 8 1/2% interest rate.Omega was bad because they took millions in property assets to secure our business loan that was only 4 million dollars. Well then FNB would not lower the interest rate even though they got 100 million dollars in TARP money from the government. FNB then told us we had to pay $1000 per day interest only for $30,000 per month in the forberence agreement they made us sign. They charged thousands for this agreement. They rob you. FNB took over our companies elderly owners home which was one of the properties on the note as an asset. FNB put their family home on a Sheriff's sale and took it themselves even though we had filed bankruptcy to reorganize. FNB found a way around the judge to put the home in a Sheriff's sale. FNB could have took other asset properties that were on the loan but they took the home and evicted the owners of the business. FNB said they took this home to get the owners attention. Ok, then why did they evict them???? Now we are still in bankruptcy protection but FNB is trying to take all the land and all the businesses. We tried many times to work with this bank and they won't. We went to court mediation and the FNB loan officer and the FNB attorney acted so mean and rude to us it was humiliating. They treated us like dirt. We are doing every thing we can to get away from this bank by selling properties and equiptment and some of our businesses. We have to get permisson from FNB if we sell any property assets because they have control of all of our properties. FNB makes it hard for us to complete any transactions and they make it look like we are not trying to sell thing just to make us look bad. It has been a tough time to sell property because the economy has been hurting for the last couple of years. FNB will not refinance our loan and now we are fighting to keep the rest of our properties and business from FNB putting them on another Sheriff's sale. If they find a way to take everyting we worked for for over 60 years we will be left with nothing and there will be over 200 jobs lost. If we don't have our small businesses we worked hard for how will people have a job. There are too many small businesses that are closing because we can't get banks to work with us while they get richer and richer. FNB has made millions maybe billions by charging customers for extra fees. They somehow make a way to charge the customer fees even if it is not the customers fault. You can never get anyone in corporate to contact you and they just ignore everyone so they can keep abusing the customer. They make us wait 4 days for our companies money to be avaliable even when we deposit cash. They are wrecking small businesses and trying to destroy the 99%. The government needs to step in and fix this banking mess. Yet, they are ruled by the banks. Yes, they work together so don't be fooled. Yes, when you sign a contract you should have to pay your due but the first bank Omega gave us a line of lies and then FNB that got 100 million to help businesses exct. only lined their pockets and did not do a thing for us. We don't trust them and we have never seen a bunch of greedy bankers as this FNB crook bank. DO NOT PUT ANY OF YOUR MONEY IN FNB OR DO ANY BUSINESS WITH FNB FIRST NATIONAL BANK. HERMITAGE, PA OR ANY LOCATION. PLEASE BEWARE !!!!!!! God Bless so you don't get hurt by them too. Vengence is mine says the Lord so if I was FNB bank or empolyee or bank lawyers I would be afraid.....be very afraid.

FNB of Hermitage Pa has the worst management and loan officers as well as their lawyers. They are all rude, mean and heartless. FNB is trying to destroy the little guy and the little businesses. They charge way too much for fees and if you need help with your loan God help you cause FNB will not. FNB got ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS in TARP MONEY from the Government and they did not help anyone but themselves. Report them to the O.C.C. since they are a Federal Bank First National Bank
