213 Reviews For PNC Bank N.A. Headquarters & Corporate Office

I have opened an account with PNC and have been waiting now for 3 days to have my online payment information retrieved and able to use. I have called 3 times and was told that it would be 2-3 business days before my issue could be resolved. Keeping in mind that these accounts were transferred using PNC's website. When I speak to a customer service agent I keep getting told that all issues are handled in the order in which they are received. Nice but I have a choice these days on how I will be treated as a customer. Tomorrow I will stop my direct deposit and close my account with PNC and seek a bank that loves their customer service and treats customer issues with timely responses. When you think about what they provide to us it is just customer service. WE PAY FOR IT.........

I have had a loan with RBC and PNC recently took it over....they waited till 30 days from maturity to tell me they are not going to renew, and if I dont pay in full it will be considered in default. No pmts have ever been missed or even late....what the f**k is this??????? I hope this bank sucks a terd in hell.

Trying VERY HARD to get a mortgage current. They don't seem to want my money, even though I am now in a position to pay. Why don't they want my payment? Would they prefer to foreclose on a borrower that actually WANTS TO PAY???? What is wrong with this bank?

During the past year, we were hit with two major catastrophies--Irene and takeover of RBC by PNC. In August our home was severly damaged by Hurricane Irene. Fortunately, we were covered with both flood and wind insurance, and had no problems dealing with RBC on our insurance funds, who at the time held our mortgage. Funds flowed from the insurance company to RBC and then to us to make repairs except for the roof. Then PNC came in and now holds our mortgage. Now, with a leaking roof, inpending non-renewal of insurance coverage for wind, due to the condition of the roof. I wrestle with the PNC robots hours at a time on the phone trying to get the funds released to do our roof, which insurance company has agreed to pay for. I have spent three months , going from one robot to the next on the phone, and have not received the first dollar released. Cannot tell you how frustrated I am at these people. Should you hear of PNC, run to the nearest exit. f

The PNC Bank in Atlanta Michigan - Which is the County Seat - The Court House etc. is being moved to Lewiston Michigan a smaller town 16 miles away. First Federal Bank is already there. Where is the need for a second bank? How well thought out was this move? Atlanta will not be banking in Lewiston. Most customers are transfering to the Alpena/ Alcona Credit Union in Atlanta. I know I will until another Bank comes in. There are "ill-feelings between the two towns. You might have well moved it to Alaska.

You people are all ignorant. Why don't you read rules and regulations before you judge. Everything out of the 4 pages of reviews is stated in Pnc's terms of agreement. But since you obviously are incapable of reading you bash the bank and headquarters of bank. I am not some rich, prude snob....I am a broke college student who uses pnc. I have never had these issues with them, and if I had, I had no problems resolving my issues via corporate. I never yelled at these people because when I read over my terms of agreement, I realized it was my own damn fault. Quit bashing this branch. You signed up for them, read your contracts and terms of agreement.

I am really upset with PNC Bank, have had online banking a few years, now it keeps saying it is suspended, went to bank several times and woman said all ok, she put all back in,not true, some of the people at bank seem useless, they don't know their jobs,I will go one more time,if not coreted am taking my money from bank and finding a reliable one that knows what they are doing.

I am writing about the PNC BANK located in the downtown Silver Spring area at City Place mall. I had a bad scary situation. in which I was leaving the mall and a security guard at the mall targeted me to harass and aggressively remove from the mall and the area in which I was standing briefly. When another officer told him to follow me and when I got I out side proceeded to speak with a Montgomery County police officer but instead of speaking with me they wrote a stay away order for a year. When I questioned why I was being given the trespassing order they told me that that is what the security guard wanted. Then they proceeded to laugh and mock me with gross jesting and laughter. When I went to the police station to complain a detective came out and cursed about me and at me and then told me to leave with out any further comment as to why I was being treated in that way. Not to mention that the security guards took my picture repeatedly with out giving me a reason. I then find out from the supervising security guard that it was because I was standing by the PNC bank and that is where a lot of bank robberies happen. He also stated that down town Silver Spring Maryland is a high crime area despite the recent revitalizing. I can't understand why PNC Bank did not notify patrons in some sort of fashion to not stand by their bank when the mall is closing so that they will not be targeted for trying to rob the bank. Why would they even put a bank in that area if they know it is high crime and innocent people may become a target of intent to rob the bank. I was treated unjustly by the security guards at that mall and the Montgomery county police of sligo police department. No one took me seriously because they thought that I was calling someone to help me rob the bank. I am an upstanding citizen and the thought of robbing banks don't enter my mind. The situation tonight was ludicrous and now I fear for my life in regards to the Montgomery county police and the verbally violent and aggressive acting security guards. I especially fear for my life by the officer that cursed me out for no apparent reason except that he may have been angry that I came in to complain about his fellow co worker. IF ANYONE LIVE NEAR DOWN TOWN SILVER SPRING PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE AREA IF YOU AREN'T A TOURIST TO THE STATE OF MARYLAND. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE CITY PLACE MALL AND PLEASE WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT STAND BY A BANK ESPECIALLY PNC AFTER HOURS OR WHEN THE MALL IS CLOSING. YOU WILL BECOME A TARGET OF WANTING TO COMMIT A ROBBERY AND ROUNDING UP OUT OF THE MALL LIKE CATTLE DESPITE THE FACT THAT OTHER PATRONS ARE IN THE MALL. AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN A STAY AWAY NOTICE FOR A YEAR FOR COMMITTING CRIME THAT YOU DID NOT COMMIT OR HAVE ANY INTENTIONS OF COMMITTING. THE SLIGO POLICE WILL LAUGH AT YOU AND THEN THREATEN TO ARREST YOU AND THEN LAUGH AT YOU SOME MORE. IF YOU CAN TRY NOT TO BE BLACK AND OR EVEN LOOK LIKE YOU ARE A BLACK BECAUSE A WHITE HISPANIC MALE WILL AGGRESSIVELY MAKE YOU LEAVE QUICKLY IF HE SEES YOU STANDING BY THE PNC BANK WHEN THE MALL IS CLOSING. TRY NOT TO BE FEMALE EITHER BECAUSE THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY OFFICERS WILL DO YOU HARM FOR THE FUN OF IT. BELIEVE ME THEY ARE READY FOR FUN WITH YOU. THEY ARE JUST WAITING FOR THE CHANCE. PNC PLEASE MOVE YOUR BANK TO A BETTER LOCATION. CITY PLACE MALL IS NOT AN AREA FOR YOU TO DO BUSINESS. YOU ARE PUTTING A LOT OF INNOCENT PEOPLE IN DANGER BECAUSE OF YOUR CORPORATE GREED OF MAKING MONEY IN A HIGH CRIME AREA WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE PUBLIC OR PUTTING OUT WARNINGS. I WAS TREATED UNFAIRLY AND ALMOST HAD PHYSICAL VIOLENCE UNJUSTLY SERVED TO ME BECAUSE OF MY IGNORANCE IN THINKING THAT CITY PLACE MALL WAS NOT A BAD PLACE TO SHOP. I WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT I CAN TO STAY AWAY FROM YOUR BANK IN THAT AREA. I FEAR FOR THEIR SAFETY AND I FEAR THAT THE POLICE OF SLIGO POLICE DEPARTMENT MIGHT HARM THEM FOR THE FUN OF IT IN NOT BELIEVING THAT THEY ARE NOT WANTING OR DESIRING TO ROB YOUR BANK. I HAD VERBAL VIOLENCE SERVED TO ME F WORDS AND THE LIKE BECAUSE I WAS SEEN AS LESS THEN HUMAN BY THE SLIGO POLICE DETECTIVE. HE APPEARED TO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT I WAS SAYING. HOW EVIL ON MY HOLIDAY GOOD FRIDAY AND EASTER. WHAT AN EVIL GROUP OF PEOPLE AND AN EVIL DETECTIVE ON YOUR BEHALF. PNC BANK YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR SEEMINGLY CONDONING THIS KIND OF RANDOM UNJUST PROFILING... I WON'T LET THIS ONE GO WITHOUT JUSTICE OR AT LEAST PEOPLE HEARING ME. ALL OF THE F WORDS THAT THE DETECTIVE COULD SAY TO ME WON'T STOP ME... EVEN IF I HAVE TO STAND OUTSIDE DOWNTOWN IN FRONT OF YOUR CORPORATE OFFICE DURING MIDDAY OFFICE HOURS TO PROTEST THE UNJUST TREATMENT THAT I RECEIVED ON YOUR BEHALF I WILL SPEAK IT THROUGH ALOUD MICRO PHONE. SO EVERYONE WILL HEAR ME... AND MAYBE PEOPLE WILL STOP COMING TO CITY PLACE MALL AND THE DOWNTOWN SILVER SPRING STORES. MY DESIRE IS LOST REVENUE SO THAT STORES WILL CLOSE AND LEAVE. HOW CAN ONE SHOP IN A HIGH CRIME AREA PEACEFULLY IF THEY ARE NOT WHITE? WHILE I'M AT IT I WILL PETITION THE UNFAIR TREATMENT OF THE SECURITY OFFICERS AND THE PICTURE TAKING AS IF I STOLE SOMETHING AND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. THEY CAN KILL ME IF THEY LIKE BUT EVERYONE WILL KNOW WHAT OFFICER DID IT AND WHAT DEPARTMENT HE CAME OUT OF...

i agree this is the worst bank i have ever been with. I sure wish national city didnt sell out. I paid 2 bills online and they blocked my debit card in the middle of the night from being able to use as a credit card 4 days ago and never called to tell me. it was because of fraud they stated and said its my responsibility to call and have it unblocked. this is a bunch of bull crap. i leaving pnc

WORST! WORST! WORST! DO NOT USE THIS BANK! EVER! EVER! EVER! A loan taken over when PNC merged with NCB was never closed off of our credit report and NO ONE in customer service can provide the same answer on what to do about it. There is NEVER any communication. After speaking with more than 20 different people and being told that someone would call back we are now being given fax numbers and PO Box numbers to write to to resolve the issue. It seems that the next step will be to contact an attorney and give them 30 days to resolve the issue with the credit bureau. We have been told that they could also be held liable for damages resulting in the delay. The good thing is that we have kept VERY accurate records concerning Names of Service Reps, Times Called, Discussion Notes, and Status. After more than TWO WEEKS NO ONE HAS EVER RETURNED A CALL AS PROMISED.

THIS IS THE ROTTENEST BANK ANYWHERE......I HAVE HAD THE SAME ELECTRONIC DIRECT DEPOSIT WITH PNC FOR, YES, ALMOST FIFTEEN YEARS.....IT WAS SET UP FOR CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS FOR ONE OF MY MINOR CHILDREN.....KEEP IN MIND THESE PAYMENTS ARE SENT DIRECTLY FROM THE S-T-A-T-E TREASURER TO PNC, FOR YEARS AND YEARS IT TOOK NO MORE THAN 24 HOURS FOR THE PAYMENT TO CREDIT SOMETIMES LESS! AS OF THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS, IT HAS BEEN TAKING UP 4 DAYS FOR THE PAYMENT TO CREDIT! I GOT TIRED OF THE RUNAROUND WHEN I ASKED ABOUT IT TO PNC, SO I REGISTERED A COMPLAINT ELSEWHERE......NOT ONLY DID I FIND OUT THAT PNC SO VERY BOLDLY HAD ACTUALLY L-I-E-D ON THE STATE OF KENTUCKY, SAYING IT WAS "THEIR FAULT", BUT NOW SINCE I "DARED" TO COMPLAIN IT IS TAKING UP TO A FREAKIN WEEK FOR US TO GET OUR FUNDS...AND THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHERE I LOG ON TO MY ACCOUNT TO CHECK IT, AND MY BALANCE SAYS "0"...THE NEXT DAY THE MONEY IS BACK IN MY ACCOUNT......YOU KNOW I AM "FASTLY" BECOMING A BELIEVER IN COSUMERS UPLOADING TREATMENT LIKE THIS DIRECTLY TO YOUTUBE....SEEMS PNC COULD CARE LESS ABOUT LONG TIME CUSTOMERS AND VERY MUCH TREATS ITS CUSTOMERS AND THE AMERICAN CONSUMER LIKE CRAP!!! FEMALE VET THAT I AM, GUESS IT'S A GOOD THING US SOLDIERS DON'T THINK LIKE THAT HUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This bank certainly didn't make a good impression on me. After having accounts with RBC Centura (an awesome bank by the way), PNC Bank came along and took over RBC. I received letters in the mail from PNC that everything would be just as it was with RBC and that all my accounts would transfer over without my having to do anything. I even called their customer support line just to make sure that my accounts were ALL going to transfer over. The transfer was set to take place on 3.5.12. On 3.6.12 I checked my accounts through the new PNC login and found that my line of credit wasn't there. After 2 weeks on the phone getting the run around, I went into the local branch office to see if I could get a resolution. The resolution was that the reps on the phone were lying to me and that PNC had closed my line of credit account because it had a zero balance. Did they notify me or any of the other people who they did this too? HECK NO THEY DIDN't. Now that security blanket I had with the line of credit is gone and they want me to apply for a new account. Well, I think that is not acceptable. If they had no intention of transfering the account then why send me the letter and why tell me over the phone that everything would transfer and for me not to worry. I happened to run across this website while searching for the address and phone number for the corportate office of PNC. They don't even have the information on their website. I am writing letters and attempting to make an appointment with the CEO to discuss this matter. The only resolution I will accept is reinstatement of my line of credit just like it was and without having to apply. I expect PNC to keep their promise to me and other customers.

At my friends urging (for some 3 years) I transferred my checking account to the local PNC Branch. I did so only after very carefully questioning charges for checks, since I live on a SSDI. I was assured there would be no chasrges for any checks, or check processing as long as this was used for SSDI only, and since I am 65. The very first order of checks, I was charged, and assessed overdraft fees. I immediately called the woman who set up the account, she took good care of getting these charges and check fees removed from my account. All was well for 1 and 1/2 years, until I ordered checks. Once again on a Friday afternoon at 3pm, a local PNC employee called and asked if I knew that my account was delinquent. I blew up when she said it had something to do with the checks I had ordered. I told her in very specific terms that I will not pay for checks or fees. I hung up. I immediately called the branch, and was told the manager was not in and would not be in until Tuesday. I said"Well, someone should be in charge, it's a frickin bank". Tbey told me the supervisor would speak with me. When she came to the phone, I said"If memory serves me correctly, you are the one who set up my account, and who assured me time and time again that there would be NO CHARGES for checks. She went to pull up my account, and came back and told me I would have to pay for the checks since this is not a "FREE CHECKING" account. I hung Up. I went to the bank Tuesday afternoon, to see the Manager. The supervisor was with the manager when I walked in. A teller asked for my name and called the manager to let her know I was there. They both looked through the office windows at me. They went back to talking. A few minutes later, they both came towards me, and the supervisor would not even look at me. The manager very politely extended her hand and asked me in. We talked and she bagan making excuses. I told her that was it, I will not pay any charges or fees, and will close the account. She then said "I will take all the charges off if you will bring the checks to me" I said'You will have them tomorrow afternoon". I took the checks in the next afternoon, and met with her, she showed me on her puter screen, that she had taken all charges off, I handed her the box of checks. She said "If you want to close the account, I'll get your $1.50 for you". I said I wanted to wait until today, to make sure my deposit did not get lost since it is direct from SS. She said" Thats a good Idea", and turned to her file cabinet. She said I want to show you this, and pulled out some very nicely color printed paper about "FREE CHECKING" accounts and started telling me why my account was not a "free checking"account. I told her, this is the 1st time I've seen this", and shetold me it was in my packet when I opened the accopunt, Well, I still have the packet, and it still is not there. I then told her that the $1500.00minimum SSDI amount is a hell of a lot more than the maximum most people on SSDI recieve at $1236.00. I got up and she said "OK, so I'll see you Wednesday". I left. Today, I went into the bank to close the account. One of the teller looked bored (only five of them doing nothing) and I went to her and laid the checkbook on the counter and said"CLOSE IT". She told me I would have to see April. I said where is she. She pointed to the windows. I started to the office, and noticed the branch manager is gone again. I went in as April hung up the phone. I told her I had talked with the manager last week and was here to close the account. She pulled my account up on her screen and said since I had talked to the manager that she would go ahead and close my account. She then said"You can write out a check for the $1.50 and give it to me, and then I will give your a certified check for $1.50, that you can get cashed here or elsewhere". I said"Anything to cause more problems"> She started to say something, and I said, just give me the $1.50. She then said, well I can just give you a certified check and you can cash it. She did something on the puter and said, I'll go get your check. She came back and gave me the check. She then said" well since you are closing the account, you must have had some sort of problem"I Said "Yes, I was lied to by this bank and I only get lied to one time in my life" I went to the teller and cashed the "CERTIFIED CHECK". Along the way and in the course of this mess, I have come to this website many times and read many very unfavorable comments about PNC and its many branches. In going into the local branch, I see the tile floor is supposedly being replaced, the exterior of the building recently was modified, thedrive-through windows have been removed and replaced with amonitor system, and during my three trips to resolve the problem or close the account, I have been the only one in the bank who was not employed there, except for the lady who came in bullshitted with the non working tellers, got a cup of coffee, and continued on her daily walk,(that was on the first trip in for me). My second trip was the same, except for the lady who was sitting with the manager, raising her voice in disagreement with the bull the manager was trying to lay on her about her accounts. Today, it was just me against all of them. During all of these trips, I have seen no construction workers, but everything is a mess. So, JUST HOW HAPPY DO YOU THINK I AM TO FINALLY HAVE PNC IN MY PAST>. I'm so happy I could just shit. (Oh by the way, you should have seen the looks on all the faces when the LADY who was with the manager walked out of the office with the manager, as they both walked toward me, and I opened my arms and gave my neighbor a GREAT BIG HUG. I had told her and her husband about the bullshit I was going through with this fucked up bank. The looks were PRICELESS. And obviously, I tell all my friends and neighbors. I fully believe that it is time for PNC Corporate to get off your "Golden Parachuted" asses and either learn about and instill customer service and satisfaction at all levels, or qiut spending on building updates, cause with things continuing as they are, you will not be around much longer. As a former manager in a business that thought it did not have to answer to customers, I can assure you you're about to be eaten up. And that big 40 story hotel with a $2.5 million dollar penthouse suite BUILT with customer fees will also be gone. Bye-Bye

I can't begin to tell you the problems I have had with this bank...never in my life have I seen such poor customer service. I had my purse stolen in early February and was advised by PNC bank that night that their were fraudalent charges on my account and adivsed me of the amounts etc.,at that time my account only had $5 in it because they had taken out $10 in service charges within the past 2 months, they supposedly blocked the charges when they tried to make them, but I found out this was not the case and infact no-one even made notations in my file that they had spoken with me and confirmed that my purse had been stolen and these charges were fruadualent. I then received a letter in the mail from PNC that my account was in Overdraft and I needed to pay the overdraft charges as well as other service charges against my account. I then made another phone call, very upset and was told by the Customer srv Rep that their were no notes in the file and after explaining the above to him, finally made him understand and he said he would send paperwork out for a claim to be made. At that time I advised him I wanted my account closed and no further service charges made against my account...approximately 2 days ago received another letter advising that I owed $83 in overdraft fees and needed to deposit within 5 days. I called and got no where with the rep that answered the phone, she stonewalled me and said that I owed these fees and there was nothing further she could do for me...I then asked to speak to a supervisor, well he was absolutely no further assistance to me or my situation. I was treated very rudely and not at all like I was the victim in this situation. Now, today after being told by this Supervisor that he waived the charges if I went into bank by today and deposited $34 into my account. I went to the local branch today, found that their was only (1) Customer Serv Rep available and she had a couple in her office and their was another lady ahead of me and then me...I patiently waited for at least 20 minutes and still the couple was in her office..so I went to the tellers and asked if there as anyone else whom could assist me..no, they listened to my situation but could not help advised me that the Branch Manager would be back and should be able to assist me, well I waited another 20 minutes..finally they told me he was on his way back from a a meeting. another 10 minutes he walks in and they briefed him on my situation. He came to me and said to follow him into his office..when I got in there he advised me that he had 2 back to back appointments so If they came in that I would have to come back another day..I explained this was not an option, he then proceeded to interrupt me when I spoke and cut me off...told me that I would have to pay $13 dollars in order to close my account out.. I asked why could they not waive $13 to make a custojmer happy. He advised he could not do this, so I immediately went to their atm machine and withdrew from my Bank Of America account $20 dollars because they would not take my debit card there, got charged another $3 for using their ATM and will receive another charge from my bank. Then I fall on the sidewalk in front of their building, got hurt with skinned knee and elbows, however got up and went in to pay my $13 and get the hell out of this bank..the Bank Manager came up to me and said oh by the way I made out a deposit slip for you..I explained that I had fallen out in front of the building and he basically blew me off...said oh are you okay as he walked away...I will never, ever ever use this bank for anything in my lifetime. I will never recommend them to even my worst enemies. They have no clue how to please customers and in the end...they will fail, they suck so bad and if you read all the above you will see that this bank definitely needs to take some classes on Customer Service. And Customer Retention...they have lost my business and I am sure they will continue to LOSE!!

I tried to use my Visa/Atm card to make a payment that was due yesterday. Now I will have a late fee because the expiration was not accepted since the date of expiration is 3/12. Why do they wait til the end of the month to release new cards. I was on hold for over 45 minutes to hear it is nothing they can do. It is they can pay the late charge. They always want to charge the consumer but it's never their fault. Where is Mercantile that is when you had GOOD service.

I began the process of refinancing my mortgage, which is now held by PNC bank, in October of 2011. It was originally a National City mortgage until that bank was absorbed by PNC. I am still wiating to have them refinance what I have already had with them for years and have not heard from anyone for months. They hired an appraiser who had an error filled report (one of which was the driveway surface which she reported paved when it is gravel) even using slum dwellings to generate comparisons to my property. After submitting several pages of corrected documents, I received no response I am sending a letter to the Mr. Rohr, CEO of PNC that I am closing all accounts and moving everything to other consumer friendly institutions. I suggest everyone else do the same. If they won't let me save on my rate then someone else will...and be happy to get it!

Our house burned down on January 2, 2012 and our insurance company was there later that morning. We called PNC since they hold our mortgage a few days later and they told me that "they will let us know what is best for us." We had all the paperwork filled out and notarized by the contractor we hired and presented everything to PNC along with a check from the insurance company so the contractor can get started. That was February 15, 2012. We are still fighting with PNC to release the money to the contractor and their customer service people are TERRIBLE! This has been a nightmare!

Oy veh! It seems that non communication within PNC reigns supreme! If you speak with three customer service reps, you get three different responses. I wish I were running this bank, all of those problems (and problem people) would go away quickly. This is a perfect example of 'top heavy' management. Too many managers, not enough workers to interface with the public...I wish top management would read these complaints, they could learn enough to maybe save the company ??? PNC simply can't afford to create an angry client base, but it seems they are going in that direction.

I was refused service of hvig an assistqnt branch manager in philadelphia because he did not recognized me. I hvea business account with this brqnch for 10 years, come in weekly wired monies to clients, purchasing cashier checks, I run $200,000 minumum through my account and he can not claim to not recognize me I was upset and said perhaps if the president of Penn came in here you would make it your business to extend courtesy of recognition. He then said he did not have to serve me with that attitutde and returned my request for $17,000 in cashiers check and said go to anther bank. I have run more than a milion dollars through this branch and he still drew a blank looking at me. Perhaps it ws because I am an African American female business woman. PS. If I can identifiy him Jonathan Robbins, and other two managers, and they inturn recognize me then what is causing this attitude. The other assistant manager is very gracious and I see all three equal amounts of time in the bank. POOR SERVICE AND POOR CHOICS THAT COULD lead me to withdraw all of my funds.........

I just withdrew a large sum of money from my PNC checking account, and I plan to take out nearly all my monies shortly. It seems the bank has been charging me $29 for each mistake in addition. Moreover, they don't even tell you they are withdrawing monies from your account. given the significant sum I kept with them, I requested 3 times to remove these charges. I was stonewalled each time. In essence, this bank holds your money and seeks any number of ways to get their hands in your pocket.avoid them if you can.
