I recently had some issues with my banks ATM. The ATM took my money and it got jammed. The bank gave me the money until they investigated the machine. They believe the money got jammed and when I went inside the bank to explain what happened the machine spit it back out and someone might have taken it. They are saying its not their fault. Now the bank just withdrew the money that they gave me out of my account. It was over 700$ and now my account is overdrawn.

My town was hit by a very bad storm that had our electricity out for a week went to the bank to depositsome money because my acct was overdrawn the bank was closed because of the storm the following day I went again to deposit the money and the bank was closed again needless to say because of the bank being closed for 2 days I was charge 5 overdraft fees and the bak is elling me tha it is not their fault!!!! PNC yo are a horrible bank time to withdraw my money and head to aother bank...

WE CURRENTLY HOLD A MORTGAGE/CHECKING WITH PNC. WAS THERE WHEN IT WAS NATIONAL CITY. IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS IT HAS CHANGED SO MUCH. THE BRANCH MANAGER WE LIKED MOVED TO ANOTHER BANK , HE DIDN'T LIKE THE PRACTICES OF PNC. THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A LOAN UNLESS YOU HAVE BIG MONEY IN THE BANK, HELL IF I HAVE MONEY, WHY DO I NEED A LOAN? CUSTOMER SERVICE AT OUR LOCAL BRANCH IS OKAY, BUT WE NOTICED ONE CLOSER TO WHERE MY HUSBAND WORKS SO HE STOPS IN ON PAYDAY TO MAKE DEPOSITS....TALK ABOUT STUFFED SHIRTS! IF THEY SMILED THEY FACE WOULD CRACK. AS FOR FEES , WE HAVE FREE CHECKING AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. I PAY ALL MY BILLS EITHER ONLINE OR DEBIT BY PHONE. I DON'T REALLY CARE FOR PNC BANK BUT THEY ARE THE ONES WHO HOLD THE MORTGAGE AND WE CAN'T REFINANCE RIGHT NOW, SO WE WILL DEAL WITH THEM I GUESS. BUT TO RECOMMEND THEM, WELL I WOULD SAY A BIG "NO". THERE IS BETTER OUT THERE. KINDA STUCK IN OHIO

My husband and I have been banking at your bank for over 20 years. Now my husband is thinking about closing our accounts and going to another bank. We went into our branch office to apply for a home equity line of credit loan. We where told we are too high risk for a loan. Understand this, we aren't the type of people to have credit card after credit card. When the economy went bad we had 3 accounts that we had closed. Not the companies we closed them and entered into a program with them due to the economy. We didn't settle on an amount to pay off the debts we are paying off what we actually owe. We paid these account on time for nearly 3 years. At the same time we paid off a car note that was never late. We also paid off our home. Yes, we own our home out right. We where told that we don't have enough credit because we did the right thing and paid our bills in full as agreed and on time. We are high risk. So know you maybe lossing our business because we don't have enough credit and we pay our bills. What do you want people who are swimming in debt and can't pay their bills or people who pay their bills on time and in full in a timely manner.

I have never been so disappointed in a bank in my life! My own bank shows me late for over 90 days on a equity line that was in the process of being modified. The man I spoke with from PNC even said they made the mistake of not billing me for those months. I assumed since I wasn't being billed that the loan was in process and the billing would begin when the modification was complete. I was aware of none of this until we started the process to refi our mortgage that we've had with them for over 12 years and they said we couldn't move forward because of non-payments!! I have never been late! So, my own bank won't refinance the loan that I have with THEM and won't even talk with me about my ruined credit report that they caused. I have filed a report with the credit bureau, and the BBB and am in the process of filing with CCO! I cannot wait to close all 6 of our accounts and take my money some where else. You can have your big corporate bank, I'm going local to a bank that actually cares about me!

It's no wonder why pnc has so many complaints since we have employees here in Cleveland who abuse cocain during work hours? Melanie Paskert is the go to in our office for anything you need and has recently been seen using and selling drugs in our parking garage! She also uses in our employee restroom and tries to hide it from us as if no one knows what she's doing in there. We are sick of this and it's about time she gets help!

Bad bank with poor customer service. Urge all to go elsewhere.

Was denied by PNC Youngsville, PA branch to make a deposit to my account because of an alert on my account that had nothing to do with a deposit. Why would a bank refuse to deposit money? This bank also denied me the ability to make a withdrawl from my savings account because it was too large and i was too young to be carrying that kind of cash around. Horrible bank with horrible staff.

I am starting a group. Anyone that comes from this group listing of complaints. write to alive-2010@live.com ASAP. Thanks. Interested in helping ourselves. No. I do not work for PNC Bank.

Last June someone withdrew $100.. from our acct at a wawa atm 60 miles away in west long branch, nj. Reported to pnc who credited acct while investigating. Took back $100. stating card and pin had to be used to withdraw. Canceled debit card and paid $7.50 f0r a new one. Now a year later on June 11, 16 and 18 $100 withdrawn each time. Called pnc and canceled card and again $7.50 for a new one. Credited acct while again investigating. Same address in West Long Branch as last year. Checked online statement and yest. Julr 5th another $100. with new card. I just called pnc and customer svc. closed for holiday. Tomorrow I will go to the NJ State Police and call PNC Corporate hdqtrs and see what happens. Beware of online banking or maybe debit cards all together.

I applied for a PNC Business Credit Card months ago. I have yet to receive a card from them, yet I do receive bills for the card. I am ready to move all my business and personal banking from PNC to another local bank in Nashville, NC because of this issue. This is the worst bunch of incompetent staff in the credit card section I have ever seen. I will be calling and writing to the CEO about the dabbling, dithering service.

What can I say, I am an eloquent speaker and I do know how to read. My guess though is the people who work for PNC have all failed in this department. My complaint is still unresolved and I will be calling corporate to discuss how online transactions are being handled by their employees and how the depositors are being ripped off. When I find my way to a shareholders meeting I will try my best to have changes made or help drive the stock prices down. Dear PNC without depositors and without profitable stocks maybe you should try another industry altogether. We the people want better service and not the bull you teach your employees to hand out.

Horrible experience trying to get a mortgage. They don't know what they are doing . I will be sending a certifies letter to James Rohr the CEO PNC is the worst

I bought my car at the dealer where they told me that i can use my current insurance for 30 days until i purchase a new insurance. 30 days later I had full coverage. PNC Bank send me a letter saying that I have to pay a collateral insurance for that month cuz my car was not insured as full coverage. PNC charge me $450 just because I did not have full coverage. I called them many times explained them. they just ignored my complain. they did not do anyting to make a customer happy. worst service. never never again will go with PNC Bank..

This bank is a complete JOKE. I am in the process of paying off my overdraft and then closing this account. I had $46 available in my overdraft acct. There was $11 in the account. My son took the worng debit card and used this account for a $15 charge. $15 - $11 would mean the account needed $4.00 to cover the charge. KEEP IN MIND THERE IS $46 available in overdraft protection. What did the bank do? THEY CHARGED ME $36 OVERDRAFT FEE! When I called I was told they only transfer overdraft funds in the amount of $50 so they refused to waive the fee even though my account shows $46 available. I had been with National City for 15 years before they sold to this pathetic excuse of a financial institution. It took less than a year before all the issues started. I am in process of filing a complaint with the Ohio Dept of Commerce and I will not stop until something is done about the SHADY business practices of this POS bank. I agree with Rick R.... the CEO and all those employees responsible for the policies they created to F*%K their customers can suck a huge turd as they burn in HELL. ALL BECAUSE THEY REFUSED TO WAIVE A $36 OVERDRAFT FEE THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ASSESSED TO BEGIN WITH!!! Not to mention that I opted OUT on this account. How can they even do this????

Worst bank ever...refusing to subordinate my HELOC as my CLTV is over 80%...duh!!! I qualify for HARP, excellent credit, never been late, I just need them to agree to continue to be the SECOND mortgage so I can refinance...NOPE, you can't talk to anyone, you can't appeal, "our hands are tied"...I emailed exec offices and guess what...NO RESPONSE! So frustrating!!!!

I GET MY PAYCHECK FROM MY EMPLOYER DIRECTLY DEPOSITED INTO MY ACCOUNT, MY EMPLOYER USES, PNC BANK, LAST WEEK THE HARD DRIVE CRASHED AT MY WORK, AND I WAS ISSUED A PAPER CHECK, I WENT TO PNC BANK IN FLORISSANT, GAVE THEM MY DRIVERS LICENSE AND VISA/DEBIT CARD, FROM MY BANK...IVE USED THESE BOTH AT EVERY OTHER BANK, TO CASH CHECKS, AND THIS WASNT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THEM, THE CHECK WAS FROM PNC BANK...THEY MADE ME WAIT, AND THEN DECIDED I NEEDED A CREDIT CARD, OR MY VEHICLE REGISTRATION, A FRIEND DROVE ME TO THE BANK, I DID NOT HAVE NEITHER...AND PNC BANK WAS STILL GOING TO CHARGE ME $10 BUCKS TO CASH THEIR OWN CHECK, BECAUSE I BANKED SOME PLACE ELSE...I DROVE DOWN THE STREET TO WALMART. THEY TOOK MY DRIVING LICENSE ONLY, HAD ME PUNCH IN MY SS NUMBER INTO THEIR KEYPAD, AND WITH IN 3 SECONDS, MY CHECK WAS CASHED AND WITH A $3 FEE. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH PNC BANK AGAIN,AND WILL WARN EVERYONE I KNOW, BESIDES THIS, NOT ONLY HAVE I USED MY DRIVERS LICENSE AND VISA/DEBIT CARD AT OTHER BANKS BEFORE, NEARLY ALL CHARGED ME NO FEE, AND ONLY ENTERPRISE BANK CHARGED ME $5 BUCKS. SO YOU SEE, AT PNC BANK, YOU HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS. NO THANK YOU.

this is the worst bank ever, very unfair practices, rude customer service. recently my check bounced for my mortgage, i immediately called the payment in with my check card, it went through...all was good, so i thought. they proceeded to wait five days to post my payment, and then a day later put the check back through, which went through, causing a second overdraft charge and also put the whole account in negetive to make the payment. this was not an authorized charge, oh but they can't let me speak on behalf of the account because my husband is the owner. we have owned this home for fifteen years and have been married the whole time, not to mention, they tried to foreclose on us once and had no issue putting a court document in my name with regard to the property, but i'm not allowed to speak on behalf of the account, are you kidding me? MY ADVICE TO ALL DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY CALLED PNC, THEY ARE ALL ABOUT BAD BUSINESS, NOTHING MORE.

PNC bank is out to make money anyway they can. Their customer service reps tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone - then conveniently do not document the conversation. National City lost a class action law-suit for processing checks in whichever order it suited them to give them the highest income - not first in first out but biggest first so if there is an opportunity to do so they bounce multiple checks instead of just one at $36 per check overdraft - maybe it's time for customers to do the same with PNC, take them to court - just another financial institution making big bucks off the backs of the poor. In the banking world the customer is ALWAYS wrong and there is no compassion for people - even in this struggling economy. Best banking I've ever experienced was in a credit union - my money is going back there now...NO MORE PNC.

My husband and i stopped at a gas station to get some donuts and drinks our debit card worked fine (he had just gotten paid) not even an hour later we stop at an atm to pull out some money and it tells him his card is deactivated how the hell is that possible when there is over 1000.00 in the account what a crappy bank and the supposed great mobile app doesnt tell you anything i hope he gets all his money out today and goes to another bank
