Drunken Employees
The Management allowed employees to return to work. The general manager escorted employees from a bar,on May 10 2013. How is this possible? The Amherst NY location needs an entire change of management.
poor food
My Family had lunch for mothers day at your Morrow location in Georgia. The server was great the food awful. We SPENT $57 we got our meal the appetizer was packed to go because we got our food first.Desert also packed to go and it was soggy it was just awful! Just thought you should know!
oh it sucked soo bad
I don't know what the heck just happened when I walked into the Olive Garden in jackson, Ms off of I55 north but the service sucked and the food was terrible. The whole experience was a catastrophe. Not all service sucks in olive garden though. The one in Savannah, GA was truly delightful.
Horrible Treatment
Camarillo Olive Garden provided very rude service when they a fewer up and took down an incorrect reservation time. We had to wait 45 min unnecessarily. Mariah the hostess was especially rude, giving me a glaring nasty look. I felt very unwelcome and will never return again. Can't wait to post my review on yelp. Mariah needs to not work with people. Very very poor customer service!!!

For the past 5 years i have been going to Olive Garden may be twice or atleast once a month. (mostly the fredrick location) Today, for the first time the server was so horrible. He was okay when we sat down but as soon as we placed the order his mood changed. We didnt even bothered him or asked him too many questions but it was just horrible. His attitude was just not acceptable for an olive garden. I understand we all do have bad days may be he was having a bad day but it was particularly towards me not my friend who occupied me for the dinner. I am sorry to say this will be my very last visit to Olive Garden, I almost never complain about anything but i strongly believe this should be brought to your attention

She fixed it an low an behold ran my card twice!!! I asked for a manager and one never came!!! I spent $127.56 ....i would have had better luck at mcdonalds!!!
Very Unhappy Customer
I frequent OG North Little Rock Arkansas, and I have always enjoyed the service and food. On Sunday while taking my sister and daughter to enjoy dinner at my favorite restaurant, my 63 year old sister found a long strip of plastic in her pasta. The waitress very nice, apologized, but the manager did not come out to say anything to us about the incident. I was very disappointed and will not be returning.
missing
The only thing missing is one in my town. I have never been to your restarant and I have always wanted to. Your commertails make it look so good and it looks so comfertable. It was just an idea. I live in Coos Bay Oregon. Hope to eat their soon... have a great week.
Olive Garden
Im very disappointed with the service i got 04/25/13 at 20:24 at Olive Garden from 11B Allstate RD Dorchester Mass. The waiter did not greet me or my table she was not friendly was very rude and with a lot of attitude. Then managers ask themselves why they are not making enough money. They should check the people they have working for them and then they are definitely will see were the problem is coming from. Im always expecting great customer service from Olive Garden because there food its excellent. Every customer should receive good customer service specially if you are paying for it. Managers should be checking on there customers and asking them if everything its good.To avoid problems. we need better customer services from the waiters because there the ones who serve the customers and spend more time with them. Waiters should make you feel welcome and appreciate for your business as a customer. Making you feel special and caring for your needs can make a big difference.
I honestly could not tell you the quality I the food at olive garden anymore. It used to be my favorite restaurant. For the last 4-5 months, there is this smell in the restaturant that has been preventing me from eating my food. It's slowly been getting worse. I love the food, so I keep returning hoping it's better. For my birthday, we went again to celebrate. They sat us close to the back kitchen. Oh the stench was unbearable. I was nautious the entire time. I realize now it was the carpets over by the kitchen entrance. My family and I have gone for years and have never had such penetrating foul odors from the restaurant. I am letting you know before it gets worse. Maybe they hired a new maintenance company to save money during this time; whatever it is, they need to go back to the way it was before. The smell was horrendous and maybe a surprise visit from corporate is what the olive garden in Harlingen Texas needs. I will never go back!!! Gross!!!
salads
Visit Rest. at 2330 N Tustin St Orange - for Dinner on Saturday 20th 2013. 6 people.. My wife and grand daughter ordered chicken ceasar salad and a cesar salad they both were soggy and very poor quality!! flavor not good. could not eat it. the service was super and quick, however, the salad was not worth $11.95.
better quess service
I always enjoy going to the Olive Garden is one of my favorite spots but I'm fortunately the service I'll try to reserve ahead of time should be changed to wait timeif I tell the manager of the store that within a couple hours I am bringing 20 people to celebrate a birthday or activity management says no I can't do that you gotta come in and then wait why should I wait an hour if I could tell them ahead of time is about 20 people spent close to a thousand dollars you can lose business like thatsometimes you should be able to bend the rules to accommodate the guess
POOR SERVICE
I stopped patronizing this establishment some time ago. Each time I visited, there were issues. It seemed OG would not honor their advertised specials. On one occasion, we were unable to partake of unlimited bread sticks and salad after receiving a maximum of three bread sticks for a party of two! On another occasion, we ordered nonalcoholic drinks that were advertised to be served in a 16 oz cup. However, we were given 8 oz servings at the 16 oz price, and OG would not adjust the bill for serving us the less-than-advertised amount. As a result of these two experiences primarily, and a few others, I stopped patronizing OG. However, I decided to try OG again for the eat-in pasta/take home pasta special presently offered (April 2013). This time, when I selected from the pasta dishes eligible to take home, I was told I could not have alfredo sauce, but had to accept marinara sauce. I'm unable to eat tomatoes or tomato based soups and sauces for medical reasons. OG gave my an absolute difficult time, and I begin to feel like I was the victim of "false advertising" yet again. Although I endeavor to patronize my local establishments, I'm pretty much finished with OG and their unscrupulous advertising antics.
poor service
I have been to the new niagara falls location 3 times. All have had problems, the first time I was there the soup was cold and my friend had a hair in hers they took her soup off of her bill, the 2nd time I was with my daughter and 3 grandkids, the kids meals were late and our was messed up 3x in a row we had the Tuscan pasta it was so spicey we couldn't eat it, sent it back 3 times it came out the same way , we ended up eating salad and bread again they took the kids off ad we cancelled ours, the 3rd time when my daughter and I went with the kids was the last straw again , the kids meals were late, ours was real late , all we had was soup and salad, kids had pasta, we waited for 45min with no food , I called the girl over because the kids were complaining about being hungry I was floored to hear what she said , other wait staff can take what ever they need if they see if first I said I ordered an hour ago and its ok for someone else who ordered the same to get it she said yes its common practice in there and I had taken an insulin shot with no food other than salad our soup was an hour late they said they were going to comp our bill but never did it has to be the most un enjoyable dining experience I have ever had you need to make some serious changes in the taking of other peoples orders and the manger also confirmed the above this was 2weeks ago
Worst service of my life.
I wish I could leave 0 stars. So today (3/10/2013@7pm) was my 3rd year anniversary with my girlfriend. I thought it would be nice to eat at the local olive garden (3755 Alton Pkwy, Irvine, CA). So we walk in and immediately we got an awkward silence and blank stare from the host boy (young, brown hair, feminine looking), who walked us to our table without saying a word. We realized that we were seated in the far right room of the building, where only minorities (alike us) were seated. The host boy handed us our menus and didn’t care to say something like “the waitress will be with you shortly.” But during the moment, I just overlooked this rudeness and looked thru the menu. As my girlfriend and I sat there, we noticed that we were constantly being ignored. The brunette waiter (I didn’t catch her name) walked by us two times to ask us if we need any water or if we were ready to order like any usual restaurant. There was also a tall older gentleman (6’3”+) and a younger gentleman who was standing right next to us at the bar, who both ignored us when we were ready to order. The taller one then proceeded to walk past us with his head down twice, grabbing the check from the table next to us and coming back. Than the only other waitress there, proceeded to help a table behind us, than the next table after (row of 3 tables, we were in the end), than as she walked by our table I saw her glimpse momentarily at us and immediately look away as I made eye contact and helped the table in front of us. Note it has already been 10-15 minutes, and absolutely no service has been received. Ultimately, we were very pestered and decided to walk out. As we walk out the same blonde waitress said “thank you,” which I’m assuming is the instinctive thing to say to customers as they walk again. This obviously showed how much attention they paid to us. This has been the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. It seems as if Olive Garden is having a tough time in this economy, but the poor customer service is inexcusable for any restaurant as long as they are in business. This used to be one of my favorite Italian Food restaurants that I would frequent on holidays, but this is the last time I will ever step in one.
gross food
went to go pick up a to go order that I called in, and when I got home, my breakstick had a bite in it and my food looked like someone didn't finished it! I posted on my facebook page, and I got a lot of responses for the grossness of the food. I called the restaurant which is 4 miles from my house, and they are telling me to bring it back and they will make me another one!? I should not have to waste anymore gas for this nasty looking food or the lack luster concern they have for the food they gave me! corporate offices will be hearing from me!
Manager deserving of a huge recognition
This evening my husband and I and two friends went to supper at the Andover St., Danvers MA Olive Garden. It was my first time there. When our waitress, Bridget, came to the table I explained that I have a very serious allergy to Canola Oil. After discussing the menu her, I ordered the grilled chicken with apricot and citrus sauce. While we were awaiting our food, the manger, who I believe said his name was David, came to our table to talk to me. He was very concerned about my allergy and explained that the chicken would have been prepped in both olive and canola oils before the chef would be grilling them - and that he also was very apprehensive above putting any chicken on the grill for me, as the grill would have had canola oil on it from previous grilling. He went out of his way to accommodate me and finally had the cook prepare the most delicious meal of vegetables sauteed in olive oil and garlic and served over penne pasta. My meal arrived - it was beautiful to look at and just wonderful to eat! In fact I think it should be on the regular menu under vegetarian entrees. He certainly made my first visit to this Olive Garden most memorable. I want him to be recognized - and also Bridget and the chef for their combined concern for their patrons.
Worst Waiter
Waiter never asked us if we wanted another drink / water / wine. In the 40 mins that we were there, not once did the waiter ask if we needed anything. Therefore we never got more breadsticks, we never got a refill on drinks..etc. We finally got the bill because I had to get up and tap him on the shoulder to come give us the bill. To add insult to injury the tip was included in the bill.. and it was 18%. I refused to give him 18%. He's lucky he got anything at all. I crossed out the tip that was on the bill and put my own tip. I also crossed out the total and put my own total w/ the $10.00 tip I had given him. When I checked my credit card statement, I saw that the full amount was charged to my card which included the 18% tip. I will be calling the corporate office and getting this investigated.
Excellent service
I am from the east coast and went into Olive Garden 1561 in chandler Arizona. The bartender David was amazing and so intensive! Then I had two managers Olga and deidra come out to check on my dinning experience which they both seemed very caring about our service. I've been to other olive gardens and this location is far the best. Greeted at the door with a smile and the whole staff worked at as a team. When I am back in the Phoenix I will visit the chandler location again in a heart beat. I was treated like I was family from the moment I stepped into the building till I left. All three the bartender, and two managers Olga and deidra were amazing and deserve praise from higher above! Thank you once again for perfect afternoon out on one of my last days of vacation!
I need more stars to highlight!!! My son and I went to the Olive Gardern in Whittier Cal. for Mother's day, just us two. My son who is 5 years old got sick on me and I had to leave right away. The manger and my waiter quickly packed up our food and sent us home with extra drinks. They treated us as if we were family helping me put my son in his wheelchair and carring our bags out to the car. They made my Mother's Day PERFECT!!
