If u can't get Netflix to stop charging your account...why...

don't you report your credit card lost to your credit card company and have them issue you a new card/number? Netflix would just keep trying to charge an account number that's closed...I know that sounds extreme but this should keep Netflix from charging you months and months after you canceled.

Awful

Terrible! This company took 24 months of rental since closing my account, They continued to charge when the account has no activity. Customer services is awful, unwilling to give any recompense! Stay away from this company! I will!

Abysmal Tech Support

Having constant problems (as mentioned by others here) with online video stalling and "loading" every couple of minutes. Called the so-called tech support number, and got a representative who merely argued with me and spouted total technical nonsense. I am planning to cancel the service.

I have been a customer for a couple of tears. I recieve DVDs through the mail and also pay for streaming movies instantly to my TV. I must say your system is not very good. I am always having problems whenever i stream movies . I can stream with VUDU and Amazon and Hudu with no problems but as soon as I use the Netflix iit stops every 2 minutes. It is impossible to watch, thinking of canceling. I do not understand why the other companies can give good service and you cannot. I do not see netflix lasting much longer.

Stealing

My daughter who is 7 had the best advice "they should give you your money back because you work hard for that money". I thought the same , but apparently you think stealing is not only bad but a good business practice. I recieved a credit for 3 days but not the $55.93 that was stolen.

Outages

They have had several outages over the last couple of weeks. When you call them, all they tell you is they are working on the problem, but no estimates of how long it will take to fix or if it will be fixed at all. They should be forced to give refunds on a pro rated basis for the down time. It would be nice if there was someone at the corporate offices you could contact by name.

billing scam

cancelled in jan. they won't refund so had to wait until feb 9 for cancel date. on feb 11 i get an email that says I had signed up again but I did not. they already charged my card. site won't let me remove my card info. contacted support, they say it was fixed but then I get an email saying I can't cancel until march. SCAM!

Damaged Disks

From the last 3 times I have had disks delivered to me, one disk has been damaged in each delivery. If I owned that company, I'd be pissed. Knowing that my property is being damaged by maintenance foul-ups, or just not caring about they're jobs to keep a computerized robot to load a simple sleeve. Anyway, try to get on that if your able, please.

Renting a library instead of single CD's is a wise idea. Rent a library or rent a CD

Netflix began a movie watching revolution that helped transition a target audience from renting at box stores to at home service. The business model worked so well that other service, providers such as Amazon and Red Box began a quest. So what happened to Nextflix in the past few years; this is a rhetorical question. What happened to Netflix is the same thing that was seen from Blockbuster; unable to adapt to changing environments. When Blockbuster saw its demise, it started offering incentives and options to customers that it should have thought about during the transition to Internet. I see the demise of Netflix within the next five years because the company is not offering recent releases through Internet streaming or making it more accessible through kiosk services; see profit margins from Red box as proof. If you continue to offer outdated films or C rated films through streaming services, then start planning the sell of all assets on eBay.

There is a lot of negativity out there towards Netflix. I am writing to say something positive. I think Netflix is great. If it wasn't for Netflix and the way that your taste profile is set up for your customers to receive custom movies geared to their interests, I would never have been exposed to some of the most thought provoking documentaries and movies. I have expanded my mind and heart. Thank you Netflix for aiding me in becoming a more thoughtful and loving human being.

Bad Customer Service

I called Netflix to change my billing date to less then a week later due to my card on file being cancelled due to fraud. My new card would arrive within the next couple says. I tried using my Paypal but since I had no card with my Paypal it would not allow me to pay with PayPal. I spoke to a few reps with Netflix to get my billing date changed so we could still enjoy Netflix. The Reps I spoke with were very rude and made it look like I was trying to receive free service for months. One rep told me to cancel my account. Do I think I will listen to him and cancel my account and let everyone know how unfriendly Netflix costumer service is.

Customer Service Sucks

I was having multiple problems with DVD's not getting to me for more then a week. I called several times. After the 4th phone call and missing DVD's for a month. I asked for a credit for the missed service that I paid for. They told me there was nothing they could do. After having paid for the service since the company started, I thought there customer service sucked, so I cancelled my account and am switching to blockbuster. I hope Netflix fails and the stock price crashes.

Double charging

Same thing as others. They have charged by card twice for over a year and now won;t refund more than 30 days worth. I am sending a letter to the CEO and will post all over social media.

Netflix release of customer private viewing history

I have been a Netflix customer for years and just learned of Netflix's decision to release their customers' viewing histories through Facebook. I am outraged and will never, under any circumstances, contract with Netflix again, nor will my friends. A company has an obligation to its customers to maintain privacy. Facebook changes their privacy settings and policies often without necessarily notifying it's customers. I am not on Facebook and my viewing history is clean entertainment. It is the idea that a company such as Netflix would stoop so low to do this that I would never be able to trust your company again no matter what you say. Be it known. Your customers have heard you and now you will hear from us.

poor customer support on streaming

I have had network error reports an tthe complete loss of streaming on a reoccuring basis in the middle of a movie. In five attempts to reconcile the problem over an 8-10 month period I have had one customer support person out of five that correctly identified the problem and solved it by assigning a new signal and that eliminated the temporarily. Since that one occurance all recent support has not attempted to take ANY actions to assist when the problem has reoccured. The test of the Network Error was diagnosed by my BD equipment and showed a satisfactory network connection yet the problem still persists and every time we get 1/2 way through a movie it freezes up completely. I've cancelled my account because of the LACK OF Customer Support!!

they been chargeing me for a year after canceling them.they are not redfunding any thing but a month!!they even seen that i havent even watched any movies.i will tell everyone what they have done,netflix is a joke!money hungry people taking from people that are poor.would not ever sign up with them if you are thinking about it!!!!!

Double charges constitute theft

I have been dealing with this customer Serviceless company. They had been robbing me by charging 2 of my cards for 8 months. They gave me a 1 month credit but refuse to issue me the other 60 dollars they stolen out of my account. If you are reading this drop Netflix. As you can see from other reviews they like to rip you off!!! Theft

I called in to stop the monthly charge to my credit card but it continued and Netflix refuses to refund my money. I consider this a form of theft.
