Cannot remove credit card number?

I cancelled my account with Netflix today. I was told by the customer service manager Michelle at the Michigan call center that it is legally impossible for them to remove my credit card number from the system. I think we may be misunderstanding one another, but I seemed to have no problem with this request of another comparable business immediately after speaking with her. I've had no problems with Netflix in the past. I wish I wasn't having problems with them now!

NETFLIX IS HORRIBLE

Horrible customer service. Was being charged for an account that was created due to their own technical issues. They can clearly see on their end that since account was "created" there was no activity, none whatsoever for 8 months. They are scammers and crooks. Wish I could give zero stars without showing I didn't forget to rate. -UNHAPPY

$9.19 was taken off my card on 12/3/13...on 12/4/13 it was approved to go back on my card. However to this day this amount never did. On the phone this morning speaking with Tracy, customer service representative who was very pleasant and Wes, Supervisor both in the Texas call center. He made me stay on hold for a very long time after I asked him for HQ and or Corporate office address and number. He never came back to the phone; just left me hanging. Poor customer service. Can someone please contact me to get this issue resolved. Thank you!

screwing up my account

when chged my monthly fee, I got 2 Netflix chgs showing up in the preprocessing screen on my account. only one got paid, but it threw my account balance off by $ 7.99, WHICH can throw me into a bank fee, if I over draw my account. and could keep me from using my own money when I want to. i'm doing away with you. hulu here I come.

Suggestions for CEO Mr Reed Hastings

May I suggest a "possible" suggestion that might: a. get more clients and b) become an innovator in the industry. We can't afford all the bells and whistles offered by cable etc. Perhaps "IF" Netflix could get a Virgin Mobile-Sprint-Verizone like company to offer a device that would "STREAM IMAGES ONLY" from Netflix for a small $10 @ month fee, billed thru Netflix, would allow more people to use Netflix streaming services. A benefit to: clients, Netflix, and phone carrier.

employee stole my gift card for 12 month of service.

i had 3 months left on an old gift card on my account so i did not want to lose my new gift card i bought so i asked the phone rep to note my account with the new gift card. come to find out when i was ready to use said gift card it has been used no body else but me and netflix has that code. the employee used or gave my gift card for 12 months of service away. i have been ripped off $96.00+ for a year of service i can not get. This company will lie cheat and steal from you. don't give the people on the phone none of your info they will steal your credit card #'s and go shopping at your cost. my bank card has fraud charges on it shortly after i bought the card over the phone. the lady employee has stolen my bank card and my 12 months of service. there is a lot of fraud going on with this company. I have alerted the FBI ic3.gov site.

This company ripped me off. I cancelled my membership back in October of 2012 when i was deployed to afganstain and they were still taking money from my account until july of 2013 when i noticed my account was still getting charged for the movies and streaming. I tried to get my money back but they told me it was impossible because they said i didn't cancel it correctly when i know i did. I will never use this company again and i have told all my friends about what happened. They told me they will cancel there membership as well. I talked to many people about what was going on and they said they can't ( will not) refund me the money taken from my account. Sincerly, A VERY UNHAPPY COSTUMER

After reading all these bad reviews, It would be a waste of my time to contracting them about my complaint of them stealing my money. The only thing i can do is shut it down. Netflix was a good company at one time. What happen?

After May 8th Update Netflix no longer works on my Android I called many times. They said I would be called back never did. I will sell my Netflix stock because I see so many upset customers. It is just a matter of time before they ruin their their good name.

I also have been with Netflix for many years. When ordering a film it used to inform me if I have seen it previously. I now no they had changed the format after I complained that I viewed the film twice. They said the format was changed 4 years ago and they can't inform everyone every time the format is changed. I asked for another film. All hell broke out as if they would go bankrupt. I wish I had their stock. How petty can they be. Bad business.

Netflix has problems

Netflix has major problems with there DVD's. I am a very unhappy customer and recommend not using this service. They fix your problem by giving you a bonus disc when you have the problem for months on end. One customer service rep told me they could not credit my account, but when speaking to another rep, I was credited 50%. Please whatever you do, DO NOT USE NETFLIX FOR ANY REASON. Sincerely, unhappy Netflix customer.

I have been a long time Net FLix customer and I have my account set up with a sign on for me and one for my wife so we each can select a DVD each week. For months now her sign on will not work and customer service just keeps telling us the engineers are working on it. Really! This issue should not take months to resolve. You have raise my rates and lowered my service and satisfaction. Customer service reps keep telling me they have raised this issue, but it still does not get fixed. You need to listen to your customer[s concerns. I actually doubt anyone will even read this email. Fortunately, I do have other choices.

Gift Card HORROR (non-expired cards)

I had received (4) GIFT Cards as a gift and had stored them away. I recently found them and wanted to start using the (4) GIFT cards that were each for a month of "TV episodes & Movies" without any expiration date. I tried using them via the Netflix web-site, but they were NOT coming up as valid. I called Customer Service and I was being told the card #'s were expired, but there is no expiration date on the cards. I found out the GIFT cards were purchased in a store from the "Gift giver", but Netflix Customer Service is advising that they no longer sell GIFT cards in the stores any longer, only via the web-site and e-mail. This does not change the fact that I received these cards and there is no expiration date on the cards. This means I have four (4) months of time for Netflix service, but when I call Customer Service they are not able to acknowledge the GIFT Card #'s. This is a delima that I am going to take up with Netflix Corporate office. I hope they will be able to provide some type of remedy for this GIFT Card HORROR story......Stay tuned.....

Netflix is a ripoff their DVD quality sucks I just want to tell anyone who is looking to rent or buy from Netflix don't do it trust me from my experience they will cheat you they have rude customer service instead go to Blockbuster if you want quality & good customer service and people who really do care about you never again in my life Netflix just lost a customer for life I hope it was worth it sincerely unhappy customer :(

Streaming Charges

I was charged for services for months I never signed up for & the company refuses to give me a refund. Appalling customer service! Not worth it!

The BS we have to put up with

Real Simple. Their promotions and Online apps tell you one thing, and they do another. Couldn't even get the member ship started, because my debit card didn't have $7.99 on it, even though the promotions and application said there would be no charges until after the free month. WHAT A CROCK NetFlix. But then again, one of the reasons I left California was because of companies like you!
