Horrible customer service at your store Last call in Austin. I can't even start to voice my frustrations with NM NOTHING has been positive about my experience with the company. My advice to all who visit this website is: NORDSTROM - I have had nothing but exemplary service and respect from them and they can order almost anything NM has to offer.

the store manager or whatever he is, is very creepy i applied for a lp position there, and i think he didn't hire me cause i said i was straight, you got problems sir, you should not ask that in an interview. Mr.Frederick Marotta

Horrible customer service at your store in Tampa. Why was I asked for my Driver's License when I used my debit card in your store. I will never shop in your store AGAIN!

I love the sales staff at the Fort Worth store, but I know through friends that have worked there that the General management is horrific. They have been losing department managers right and left because no one wants to work for this management. Is their corporate office asleep at the wheel? This lack of leadership will eventually filter down to unhappy sales staff and then be reflected to customers. The Devil Wears Prada is a movie. This management thinks that is how retail should really be!

My main big frustration with NM is the cheap plastic vials they use for the perfume samples. They are dreadful and crack on the very top within a day or two and all the perfume leaks out. Dear Corporate Office, you should take a look at the nice mini spray vials that SEPHORA uses when they give out perfume samples. These never leak. It is time for an upscale company such as yours to have much better quality and more efficient perfume sample vials. I am sure all your customers would really appreciate this.

Since I am not able to contact any of the VIP`s at NM headquarters, this seems to be my only outlet. Unlike the other complaints on this page, I am not complaining about customer service. I, as well as many others are greatly disappointed that NM has decided to pull out of opening a store in Sarasota Florida. Whoever is in charge of their real estate developing, has obviously not done their homework. Have they researched how many millionaires per square ft. we have? Do they realize that our Saks store is not the caliber of shopping Sarasota patron`s prefer. Do the professionals have any idea how many people travel to the NM at the International Plaza in Tampa? The letter of intent has been displayed on the University Town Center`s website for years. We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of NM, only to find out this week that they are not coming. If this message reaches anyone that can pass it on to those higher up`s,I would greatly appreciate it. I certainly hope they take a second look, and reconsider. It`s not too late!! Thank you.

JUST CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT AFTER 30 YEARS. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM NOT A SAKS MAN BUT NOW I WILL BE. SAKS CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS IMPROVED. I HOPE NEIMANS IS ONLY A MEMORY IN A DECADE OR SO - MAYBE JUST A DISCOUNT HOUSE. IF YOU ARE 30 DAYS LATE. THEY WERE MY GO TO STORE SINCE 1974. i WAS SO PROUD TO BUY THERE AND TO PRESENT GIFTS FROM THERE. NOW ITS JUST A TRAGEDY OF ACCOUNTING ERRORS AND RUDE/UNHAPPY PEOPLE ON THE PHONE. DONT BELIEVE THEM IF A CUSTOMER SERV PERSON OR A MANAGER TELLS YOU THEY WILL GET BACK TO YOU. THE DECLINE IN CLASS IS MOST DISTURBING. THE SERVICE YOU GET FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE? IS THE SOUNDS OF A LEGEND DYING.....

I really disappointed in Neiman Marcus service. I purchased about $2000 in a two week period. Everything arrived ok, but no boxes. Since the items were gifts for my daughter baby shower, I needed boxes. I tried to get boxes via emails and chat but the only thing I got was "I apologies" but not boxes. That doesn't help me. I'm so irritated. Yes I was at fault for not requesting a box for each item I purchased but you would expect with such a brand name they would try and accomadate me. What upsets me even more the items I purchase were all brand name, and had I purchased them directly from them, I would not have had this issue. Neiman Marcus needs to wake up and smell the coffee, there are too many other stores out there with same brands that will keep me happy so I spend my dollars on their website. Poor customer relations.

My experience has been strictly shopping on their website. I love to by handbags and I shop their "sale" part of the website, which I found a couple months ago. Well, I went a little overboard and purchased a few thousand dollars worth of handbags within a few week period. I've curved my spending habit and now only purchase maybe one a week! lol It's addicting. Well, I was expecting a Burberry bag and I went to check my online account and it was now showing the transaction was canceled. So I contacted a live rep through "CHAT" and she tells me my Visa was declined. I found that really strange seeing my limit is so high, I wasn't even near it and my credit is perfect. So I called my Visa immediately and they confirmed what I thought... there was NO problem what so ever that day with that transaction with Nieman Marcus. That amount had been approved and canceled by them. So I get on the phone and call their Customer Service to find out my Account was tagged as a "ReSeller Account" which means I cannot buy anymore! The nice Rep told me to call back on Monday and talk to someone there. I was shocked! Are they crazy, just because I bought a lot and went a little shopping?? lol Who ever heard of this?? They canceled my $900 purse because they labeled my personal account a Reseller! I was so p'd off! Tomorrow is Monday and I'll be on the phone first thing! I have never been treated so badly by any store! SAKS is great! Bloomie's is great! I've spent close to @ $8-9k with NM in the last 2 months and they treat a good customer this way??

As time goes on my shopping experiences become less and less exciting. The mood and the general attitude in the St. Louis store are unbecoming between management and employees. The last time I was in the store my husband and I were shopping for baby gifts with our regular salesperson. From around the corner a man came around and asked my salesperson if she was on break? Break she asked? He then told her to take her nametag off if she were shopping for herself! I found out his name was Randy, in operation management. My husband and I were dumbfounded as we looked at him with disbelief. He was wearing glasses, bad peripheral vision or bad judgment?

I'm extremely offended and upset by the underhanded manner I've been deceived and treated by Neiman Marcus employees, specifically Rosie at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Corporate. The last purchases I'd made were just before Christmas. At the time Rosie had sworn the cocktail dresses I was interested in won't go on sale since there were among the new arrivals. I was pleasantly surprised when I'd received a call from her shortly after informing me that they were 45% off; however, when I made the trip to the store, my inquiry at the cash register confirmed a discount of only 25%. Rosie did not feel bad at all. Instead she simply stated that she's made a mistake ... Feeling a bit ticked off that I'd been deliberately enticed, I'd asked her once again if I should wait a bit longer and if there was a possibility the items would be reduced again after Christmas? She swore once again: 'absolutely NOT' and that I was really lucky they were reduced in the first place, so, reluctantly, I'd proceeded with my purchase. Sure enough, all 3 items have been further reduced, however, I'm not allowed to receive any price adjustments on my purchases. (I'm still waiting to see that policy in writing). Rosie's explanation? "If people return the merchandise or get a price adjustments, how would I make money?" She has even blatantly denied ever had called me with the bogus 45% off sale ...

On my last visit to the Fort Lauderdale, Florida store, I had a very unpleasant experience. Do not shop at the store at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It lacks professionalism and service.

I went to the Arundel Mills Mall Neiman Marcus Store and saw a sign that said 30% off entire purchase. I asked the employee at the customer service desk what that sign meant. I was told it included all items that did not have a sign stating not part of the sale. I tried to purchase two Michele watches that had a 40% off sign. The sales person told me this was not included in the 30% off entire purchase sale. I asked where the sign stating that was I asked the manager of the store how the 30% off entire purchase worked. He stated the same thing the person at customer service told me - "there are signs throughout the store that will tell you what is not included in the sale". He said Jewelry was included in the 30% off entire purchase. I told him the jewelry sales person said it wasn't. I asked him to walk over to the counter with me. When he saw there was already a 40% off sign he changed his mind and said "nope these watches are already on sale, and you cannot combine the sale". I asked him where the sign was that stated it was not part of the sale was. He would not answer my question. When I called the corporate office I was told they would help me resolve this issue. When they called me back, they said they would not do anything to help me because the watches were already on sale. This is bad form, and unlike the Neiman Marcus I used to know. I was humiliated and not told the right information from the beginning. When management gives you their word they should honor it. I will not be shopping at Neiman Marcus again.

I can't even start to voice my frustrations with NM - which used to be my favorite store when I lived in Houston. I was thrilled when a store opened in Bellevue, WA, but that's where the love affair ended. NOTHING has been positive about my experience with the company. My advice to all who visit this website is: NORDSTROM - I have had nothing but exemplary service and respect from them and they can order almost anything NM has to offer.

Have been shopping at Neimans for 25 years. First time in the Boca store in a while and i cant believe how badly stocked and how rude the sales associate was. An older woman with blonde hair named Gay, just lost a 3000$ purchase because of her rude manner. I will never shop in there again.

After being invited to attend the Fasion Night Out in September by several sales people, I did attend and purchased over $3400 worth of items. I was to receive a gift card roughly in the amount of $375, as was shown in the perk sheet breakdown. I received NOTHING, and was told by customer service that they would INVESTIGATE this. It must have slipped their mind. Not only did no one get back to me, turns out, there's no gift card on its way. They said I was "actually" invited.....and I'm left wondering, then how did I know about it? Saks had the same item at their Friends & Family night for 25% off. The bag I purchased could have been purchased at Barney's. Neiman Marcus thinks they are fooling their shoppers by all their little "perk/gift" cards, when it's so far from the truth. After receiving a $50 gift card, I headed to purchase 2 bras and was told, the card isn't good in lingerie, but if I did purchase the 2 bras, I would receive 25% off....really? Duh...The bras were each close to $100, if they would have taken the gift card, it was the same thing. I told her to forget it, purchased 1 bra instead, and purchased a $48 candle to get rid of the card. Either you offer something and give it, or you don't. I'm done with Neimans, will be closing my account after many years. There are a lot of other amazing stores out there that know how to treat their customers. Everyone, try Saks, try Barney's, try Bloomies....you'll love it!

I was recently in the Florida store and was treated so rudely as I was trying to buy a $1,700 Lois Vuitton handbag. I left without purchasing it and I was leaving, I made it very clear that I was headed to Saks Fifth Avenue to make my purchase. One would think that in today's economy, they would bend over backwards to assist you without making you feel like garbage. Needless to say, I will never step foot in that store again.

Wow, I cannot begin to tell everyone/anyone how extremely disappointed I am with Neiman Marcus. Having had a recent shopping "experience" at the Dallas Northpark location, I must sit back and tell myself that this company has a strange way of showing customer appreciation. So many upset, disrespected, angry people are left out cold by NM. It makes me wonder how this company is still in business. Why would anyone subject themselves to this unaceptable behaviour. I, for one, have decided to no longer contribute to Mrs. Katz lovely little salary. I have said this once already and I say it again, Neiman Marcus can take their awful attitudes and ruin someone else's good time. PS there was no option for 0 stars or it would have been chosen.

July 2011 I applied for a Neiman Marcus credit card at Town center Boca Raton, FL. to purchase a Zegna mens slacks for my partner; I was turned down, very imbarrasing, I received a letter July 20, 2011 stating the reason for the denial. firstly they had an incorrect low credit score; secondly I left several telephonic messages with the telephone number to call in the denial letter 1-214-757-2909. I Never received a return call.
