Friday 8-5-11 at about 4:00 pm. my wife and I went into Millers Ale House in Tallahassee, Fl.. I Ask to be seated on the right side of the door as you enter away from the loud music as I wear hearing aids and the loud music hurts my ears. This way done (no problem). About the time that our food arrived the load music also arrived. I asked the server to have it turned down or off, she said she would talk to the manager. Server came back and told me that the manager said that she would turn it down (that DID NOT happen). I ask to see the manager at that time, she came to the table and again I ask for it to be turned off because of my hearing aids and she informed me that she could not turn it off, but when we ehtered it was off. We go there at least 2 times and month and have never had bad food, but because of this I WILL NOT return, if this is the way that people will be treated its a shame and Millers won't be around much longer as I will tell everyone that I know how bad the service is and I know a lot of people.

I work at this location and I have to say that Miller's Ale House Corporation needs to get a grip on its managers. The General Manager, Sean, has been practicing gender discrimination (giving the guys their paychecks and not the women). The Asst. Manager,(Mike),sits out back and smokes "blacks" almost all day,(if he's not on the line).I had a pair of Oakley sunglasses that were a gift from my sister stolen from me at the restaurant, immediately brought it to Mike's attention (twice) and Sean once...NOTHING WAS EVER DONE! NO REVIEW, NO REPORTS, NO LOOKING! I was informed to forget about it. I just got off of the phone speaking with Bill DeWitz, HR Mgr. who decided that my issues were not important enough to acknowledge and act upon, told her the above incidents did NOT warrant "gender" discrimination and was promptly rude. Yea..good management. He then called Sean (the Mgr. we are speaking of) and told him all of my concerns, even though they were about him and his inability to run an establishment and keep within the FEDERAL guidelines set forth. Also!! There are men who have had no calls and no shows NUMEROUS times and have only been wrote up a SMALL FRACTION of what the situation warranted! When a side station was a little messy from a busy POP that we had...Sean exited the restroom and made a comment.....and I quote...."I would hate to see what your houses look like." WTH!!!!! Are you serious??? How about this one! I went outside and asked my Asst. Manager,(Mike),if I could smoke a cigarette. Had no tables and we were slow as gin. As I light my stogy,Mike says to me....and AGAIN...I quote..."Be quiet and go stand over there." I said,"Really?". He then said..."Do you wanna smoke?" I said "Yes". So he says...AND I QUOTE AGAIN....."Then go stand over there and be quiet." We are constantly berated and treated like CRAP!!!! So. I call to complain. And,again, just a mouth full of mush. I couldn't believe Mr.Dewitz(HR),called Sean and told him!!! He also REFUSED to give me his bosses name and phone number. Had to call and retrieve it myself. Your not supposed to do that!!! You are supposed to take into account the concerns of your employees....be an "outsider" with a NEUTRAL point of view. You don't call and give the person, that someone is complaining about a heads up!!!! This is the first time I have ever worked in such an unhealthy work environment and actually made a complaint. It is a very disgusting situation. I'm POSITIVE I will get fired now. But!!! Not before I speak with my Lawyer. I am a single mother of 2 children and I support both them, myself and my mother. They know EVERYTHING I am going through and still, figuratively, they are stomping on my face!!! THANKS ALE HOUSE!!!! (Can't wait to hear from you Mr.Reed)

The outside Barmaid at the Estro Gulf town ale house sucks . She is more interested in her hobby as saving dogs (great thing in it's place) then customer service.

Well I have been coming to this ale house since it opened 3 years ago. I want to say the staff is always great. Tommy, Laura, Maggon, Melissa...the manager Kathy is fabulous. The prices cannot be beat and the food is always great. However, I find it unreal that with such a large company, in the 90 degree heat in SW Florida, you currently only have 5 out of 11 fans outside that work! I come hear at least 3 days a week and my husband comes here every night and we like to sit outside as we are smokers. Also, your "industrial" fans which are actually equipped with misters, NONE of them work. Your staff...who is forced to be out here all the time, sweat and look like they could fall over of heat stroke at any moment. Your paying customers dont deserve to have to deal with this either. You're a huge corporate company. Spend a little cash and make your people happy! It'll be a happier and more comfortable work environment and certainly more enjoyable for your customers. After all...as I sit here now there are a VERY small amount of people here. Your regulars and locals are what keep this company afloat in the summer!!!!

On May 19, 2011, at around 12:30 am my two friends and I went to Ale house on Archer Road in Gainesville Florida for ladies night and appetizers my friend and I were trying to pay for a tab at the bar at the bar because the manager forgot to include the fries that we ordered. As we were trying to get the attention of someone behind the counter a waitress standing behind the counter with bleach blonde hair (who we later identified as Kacy) asked us what why we were looking at her, my friend and I replied we are not staring at you we are just trying to pay our tab. Then she raised her voice and said “whatever you guys just need to get out of here!”. My friend directly confronted the comment asking her why she felt that she could dismiss us from a restaurant we were paying for service in and she walked away. At that point I asked to speak with the manager about the situation (who we later identified as Mike). I told him that his employee was completely disrespectful and nasty to both me and my friend he along with another girl that worked there said that they are not sure if that’s what happened. I told them if it did not happen then my friend and I would not be this upset. I felt that our complaints were ignored and so I am writing this letter of complaint. I have never felt so disrespected in an establishment. I work in customer service and I would never speak to a customer the way that Kacy spoke to us. I told the manager that I was very unhappy with the way I was treated and that I would never again spend my hard-earned money in Ale house. Kacy treated us like second-class citizens and my friend and I do not tolerate that kind of treatment from anybody! It is unacceptable for an employee to behave this way, especially towards customers.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE SEAFOOD SALAD WITH THE CRAB RANCH! As a Diabetic, it was one of the only healthy things on the menu that made me go to any Ale House in Orlando!

I used to go to this establishment a lot but lately with the new staff they have almost ever time it's just impossible to get good service. I can honestly say the food is almost always good. I mean really how can you screw up such a easy menu. For the staff that have been there for years this doesn't pertain to you guys , obviously your doing a good job and that's why your still there. To those young bucks who think since you work at a sports bar/restaurant you can get away with anything your wrong. If you think that your some type of captain or leader remember this attitude reflects leadership. When ordering a appetizer common sense it comes BEFORE THE MEAL. When ordering beer it shouldn't take longer than 5 mins. Just because another table drinks a lot it doesn't mean there first. And if you can't handle 4 TABLES than you have problems. And foremost NEVER TALK BACK TO THE CUSTOMERS , also when serving a table with children there be very careful what you say or do because a concern parent or upset parent has more pull than one that doesn't . You work by the airport in Orlando so your going to deal with family and it's not like it was late ( 8 pm) is not late. I see Mgrs and servers come and go just remember you might be next. To anyone who reads this , I know you can relate and if you can't , wait to you have kids and go out for a bite to eat and you will see for yourself.

This was the second attempt at trying Miller Ale House on 192 in florida. Yes it is new and extremely busy, but the service there sucks. The servers are always MIA. When our food showed up and hour later, or should i say my families food, my food showed up 10 minutes later. So my family is about done eating when i get started. As i am waiting for the server to come to the table so i can ask for the check ( 20 minutes later) the store manager walks my way. So i wave him down, as he looks right at me he then turns his head away from me and walks away. " WHAT THE CRAP " I do not recommend this Ale House at all. It is a waste of your time and money.

Worst place ever to eat at or to work for. They dont take care of the emplyoees, they treat us like dirt. The Managers sleep with the employees, they are creepy. They talk about about people, complain all the time, and are nasty. Oh and there are roaches at the place! Dont eat there, trust me you dont want to see how they make the food.

We have been going to the Ale House for 9 yrs. We used to go 3 times a week, now we go 1-2 a week. BUT, we took our family there first time. It was such a BAD experience. The food was cold , very cold.. Our server was great. ( Erica) Once we told her the problem, she got the manager. He came to our table he asked what the problem was. He acted like we where bothering him, and that he really did not care. Then after we explained our problem he walked away. He never came back to the table. And every time he would walk around, he made sure like he did not see us. So our server came. And told us the manager took off the dinner off our bill. BUT why couldn't he come and tell us ? That would be more respectful , and that would show that he did give a ******** ...... Noticed managers come and go there.... The one before him was great.. He would stop by tables and say hello. If not you could see he was having a nice time and smiling to their customers. We even asked if one of the other manager was their by name. He had like a look like, what? Why ask ? And then he said Uhhh no, guess not working here anymore.. Wouldn't you (he) know? So after 9 yrs, not sure if we will come back. Yes, we loved you're foods. everything we ever got was good. Ok, there might have been couple things ok. But still... It was the NEW MANAGER that turned us off 100% ... We went March 24th around 7 pm Ok the complaint about the food.. Fish N Chips - the fries where like they where 2 days old and cold as ice.. 2 Prime Ribs - The juice was very cold and the prime ribs. They took them back and the put it under the broiler. YOU KNOW PRIME RIB DOESN'T go under the broiler. THAT IS NOT HOW TO WARM PRIME RIB UP !!!! Osso Buco - It was cold and it was like it was days old.. Would rate 0 for very poor, but only had the number 1 ..

I was extremely impressed with the food, service, and PRICES ;) Pleaseeeee bring one closer to Ohio!!!

Manager is a pervert and allows young girls in mens bathroom to potty and sees nothing inappropriate with this I am at the altamonte ale house in orlando fl

The Worst experience I ever had on a Restaurant, I had it at one of your Location Hunters Creek Florida, to make the Story short The Mgr of Location said that he was not giving me his name, for me to Figure it out and neither the Corporate office Number at least he was right, I had to figure the number out my self. The last thing this guy said was that He do not care about minority at his Place i will definitely take this to a different label I understand if i will be living\g in Georgia Alabama LA or a State that has history, but Florida this is the last thing I expected to hear in a Restaurant Area surrounding by Latinos, according to him He does not care about people perception because of the lack of Minority at his Place . I understand his point You can not ask better than if that is the best Ale House People can get is Understandable I will not recommended Ale House not even to my worst enemy I will pass this on my Tweeter account and Facebbok. Hunters Creek a Place not Welcome for Certain people

I first would like to say that I have never experienced a rude, self-center, inconsiderate server before. I always have great experiences with friends and family at Ale House. As we were seated, our server greeted us at the table and said what did we want to drink and were we ready to place an order. When my girlfriend asked what are the late night specials the server replied with there are none and even if there were it wouldn't be served on a Saturday night in a very rude way, it made the whole table feel uncomfortable. As she was taking my girlfriends sisters order, she yelled out can you speak up louder I can't hear you. Yet, everyone on the table heard what she said. At this point, we were not getting the standards and respect that a server should give as representation of your company. As I ready to read my order I miss read one of your menu items word incorrectly and in front of everyone she corrected me. I was embarrassed because I've been to other restaurants and if you say something incorrect most of the time servers understand and repeat what you said but with the correct way of saying it just to confirm and correct you in a polite way. My girlfriend and I ordered beers, Blue Moon. I thought that she would have gave us the 23 ounce special because its on sale for $5.95 every night! Instead she brought out 12 ounces of blue moon beer. So when she came back to our table, I asked her why did we get 12 ounce beer for $5.49 when you have a 23 ounce on sale for .50 more! She said no we (Ale House) don't, I said yes you do and showed her the menu and she then replied your right and that makes us 1 and 1. 1 equals misread word on the menu and the other 1 for her mistake on the beers. I then told her that I wasn't counting on how many mistakes we've made. She said I'll go ahead and give you the beer when your ready to order another one, I then said okay and thank you. A few minutes later I then ordered my beer and thought that I was getting it free to equal in total the 23 ounces. Instead we got charged for each beer and when I asked if she could correct it she then said I already closed the tab. Thats when I asked to speak to the manager. At this point it got to far and out of hand. Upon arrival of the manager Alex, I told him about the situation. He then asked me why did I wait tell after the tab was closed. I replied that I thought your server would correct the mistake. He said well it's to late to correct a closed tab. He then asked what would I like for him to do? Would I like him to give me a discount? Would I like him to give me a free beer the next time I come in? I didn't want to make the situation escalate so I said thats fine I'll take a free beer the next time I came back. At this point I will never go back to that location. Not only didn't this manager not understand me but he as well made me feel like we were not that important to him and his company. I don't know if this is how your company operates but if it is, I really don't see your company lasting much longer. I was alway told Customer Service comes first!!! I hope this problem gets fixed and doesn't happen to another person again. As for me, I will never go back to that location again!

Yesterday was my daughter's birthday and she wanted to go eat at the Ale House on KEndall Drive and 115th. I am extremely dissapointed in the food & service we received yesterday. I ordered the shrimp scampi and the shrimp seemed to be old my oldest daughter ordered the chicken zin(something). as soon as she took a piece of chicken there was a hair under the chicken - that was NASTY!!!!!!!! so the manager came by and offered to make her sometihng else at this point honestly we were all disgusted and then the manager wasn't really very appologetic and she charged us for her new meal which at that point she didn't really want to eat anymore. Aside from all this, our meal took forever and the restaurant wasn't even full. Our meals took over 45 minutes. The waiter was nice but you could tell he had problems but I honestly know that the waiter had nothing to do with the order taking soo long and the hair in the food. Oh, my meal comes with bread and I didn't even get that......... it was the worst ever................ Feel free to contact me at 786.286.6771
