Poor Service

Any person with any degree of sense can see that this co. has more negative than positive feedback. It takes hours not minutes anytime you ask for any assistance. As soon as I can find a suitable substitute for Excel I will drop this service. I am on the phone with a so-called supervisor who will not identify themselves and will not provide their supervisor name. I spoke with Walker in billing @ 10am 1/22/14 and was of no help and he insisted he was the only supervisor and refused to give me his supervisors name. Then proceeded to cancel my business account. Who does business like this.

My trouble getting service

Every time i contact Microsoft for service, it takes me 1 to 4 hours till the service technicians can find my service contract as paid for. I spent 4 hours today trying to get service to correct a" Excell 2010 program. I am very annoyed, why my paid for programs can not be kept where your service personnel can get the information easier. I am ready to contact the Newspapers and tell my story to them if it does not clear up soon. Today i waited 4 hours on the phone talking to your personnel

Disappointed

Good Evening, I contacted because I was having a problem with my Sound System.One of your Tech. work on my computer for two hours, I could see that he no longer knew what to do, or fix the problem. He went into my control pane. and took out 5 or 6 programs. I asked why? and he said, 'this is the only way i can fix your computer. The next day; I wasn't able to get into my control panel. Microsoft is not owning up to this problem and neither is the Tech. I have always felt a special regards for Microsoft, but now I am only disappointed in them. Adele Higier

Unhappy user who tried to get tech support.

So far, I have accomplished nothing. I have run into, techs that did not speak English "your wonderful techs in india", Techs that talked down to me and "ASSUMMMMMED" that it was all my fault. Put me on excess hold, and finally told me, that they couldn't understand me, when I could understand them. Maybe if I wasn't white, I could get better service. I am a customer, and this customer will get the problem fixed period. The problem is the software license # on the card that I bought with the MS Office 365. The license # is totally invalid, and does not work and never will. And Walmart won't take it back. So I will get this fixed. Or do I go to the news media.

Microsoft Sux

These idiots don't know their asses from a whole in the ground. They lock you out of your accounts and then have no CLUE how to help you fix it. Most of them don't even speak good English. I think that this is ridiculous and I hope Bill Gates is happy with himself. The only reason I gave 1 star is it would let me give 0 stars.

I have been on hold for 20 minutes and all I want to do is ask a simple question about Office 365!!! The annoying part is listening to this guy on a recording pushing product and thanking me for waiting!!!!!!

trial package problem

We bought a computer last month with the trial package that was pre-installed. Our data usage shot way up beyond reason. Verizon helped us isolate the problem which is the trial software offered through Microsoft. The software continued to download outlook over and over running unseen in the background. In short it has cost us over $225 in additional data usage we had no benefit of. After hours on the phone, disconnects, people that were difficult to communicate with and no decision makers we have no satisfaction. Microsoft is too big to care. Unfortunately they are too large and we are held captive to buy their software anyway. Based on what Verizon and I found on the internet it is a known problem.

User Office 2010

I purchased Office 2010 from the Microsoft Store in Nov 2012. The confirmation that I received stated that the next version was free. I called on 7/15 for directions to download 2013 and was told that the offer expired on 5/30 and I could not get the upgrade. The reference number given was 1211330809. I spoke with three different Store reps. I think this is a very deceptive practice from such a reputable company. The upgrade will now cost me $139 which I should not have to pay. Help would be appreciated...

Xbox one

Xbox one seems great but not all people like it probably 1/3 of Xbox fan base like it maybe more but if you do not change it's policies on Xbox one it will go down watch YouTube video many people are going to switch to playstation 4 and you will lose a ton of money fans

Why do People complain here?

I'm at a loss, why would people think that slagging off Microsoft here get them any closer to a result? if you have a problem call customer service.. if they can't help ask them to escalate the matter.. I've been using Microsoft products since DOS 1.2. and have always found them to be great. sure there have been some misses but every time I've contacted them for support I've had a good experience.. from activation thru to getting refunds.. I guess with a sheer volume of customers the ones who are the loudest are the complainers.. Good work Bill and Steve.

Microsoft Product

I am now going to file against Steven A Ballmer CEO of Microsoft Corp a small claims court suit to recover my money for the cost of their defective product that no one at Microsoft wants to take ownership for.They don't care about me, now I don't care about him. When he gets the court papers maybe they will then call me to resolve my issue. Either way I AM going to get my money back.

Customer Service

I sent Microsoft Customer Support an email requesting a simple bit of assistance. I have yet to receive anything from them. I called a toll free number, that I found online; when I called the number, I got someone in India. I requested a US call center, they refused to send me there. I found a local office for Microsoft, and I was informed that it was not their job to help me. Microsoft has the worst support system I've ever experienced. I'm going to have to switch to a MAC, their service cannot possibly be worse.

Windows 8

Windows 8 is NOT user friendly! I am not a computer nerd, just a ordinary desk top user. I used to have Vista, and it was great. I bought a new HP desk top with Windows 8, and it really SUCKS. The next time I need a new computer, it will NOT have Windows on it.

I have Microsoft windows XP on my home compter desktop.I have a Compaq Presario 2200. Wireless connection doesn't work cause laptop battery is dead.I have internet through cable company time Warner cable. I received notices on my mobile phone.Google blackout test, twitter.my internet and everything is gone. I have Microsoft windows XP showing downloading when login screen comes up its black. Can't do anything on my computer. Still blackout.didn't say when its coming back up.miss computer.

I can connect to the internet automatically through microsoft.com support. For offline. The screen was too big. I fixed it and switched back to online. Loged off and that was the last time I seen my information on my computer.neverreally used the live.com don't know how.can never log in. Changed my passwords and emails lots of times.they may be different from my regular emails..I change my profile on my computer to my name and address and birthdate.wasthat the problem for the black out. Tried to change it back but had problems. Please help. You know my mobile number.text me.

Windows 8

This is absolutely the worst thing in the comp world I have had to ever deal with since the days of DOS. Why in the world do you shove windows 8 on any new pc with no other option. I'm disgusted with MS. Windows 8 is great advertising for ANY other system.!!!!!

Access 2013

I have a problem with Access 2013 and spent 10 hours over a weeks time trying to reach technical support. The only people I talked to kept transferring me to other technical clerks that asked me the same questions I had previously been asked.. I didn't speak to a single person that had any idea what my problem was. I will never call Microsoft again. The tech help is crap.

THE NEW OUTLOOK IS PURE GARBAGE, It has so - so - so - so many FLAWS IN IT - IT IS VERY - VERY - VERY HARD TO NEGOTIATE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i TRIED TO ADD A CONTACT WITH AN E-MAIL AND ONLY COULD GET THE NAME, ETC. Poor Support

Microsoft ran us around the world for over three months to effect the free download of Microsoft Office Pro without success. No one claims to know the answer to the problem in either Tech Support of Customer Service. Redmond office does not return responses for assistance nor will anyone provide names of corporate officers who might take a little more interest in the issues. We have subsequently learned that letters that do not have a personal name other than the title, are trashed rather than returned to sender. Where is the return of over forty years of loyalty to this firm? Apparently, it is non-existent! Too bad!
