I own a beautiful black 1995 S500 Mercedes Benz with 142,000 miles. The Mercedes Benz Corporation knowingly installed a bio-degradeable engine wire harness in models '91-'96. This wire harness was purposely designed to breakdown overtime and disentegrate without harming the environment. Unfortunately, I am now faced with a $6000.00 + repair bill due to that design flaw. After researching my vehicle's diagnosis, I discovered that the Mercedes Corporation knew the horrific, detrimental hazards and immense financial costs that owners of these vehicles had in their future as a result of their decision to put this material in their vehicles. I find it to be criminal that they never did or have they since notified potential buyers or owners of these vehicle years of the hazardous that awaited them. The costs associated to replace the wire harness is astronomical and devastating. The entire car could be deemed worthless due to the vehicle bursting into flames in your garage or while driving, and or total distruction of key components of the vehicle. If you are having all kinds of malfunctions in your vehicle, sensor lights coming on and off, air conditioner cooling one minute and blowing heat the next, startup problems, door lock problems, interior lights not working, etc. - check the wire harness, everything that goes on with your care in wrapped inside this biodegradeable harness and when it begins to blow away, the wires become unstable and start to move and touch each other causing shorts, malfunctions, fires and shutdown. Mercedes Benz knows, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration knows. Why has Mercedes Benz been allowed to keep quiet about this obvious serious safety hazard that has the certain potential to cause death to the driver and others? The Mercedes dealership is aware of this defective wire harness, but will take your money and not tell you what is really up! The dealerships make a lot of money per hour for labor costs and Mercedes owns the monopoly on their expensive parts. Something smells bad here and we are left holding the bag while Mercedes laughs all the way to the bank. If you don't believe what I am telling you, google it for yourself. After you learn the truth, you will be as mad as I am. Call your congressman, call your attorney general, call your lawyer, call the news outlets and try to get them to air a story about this serious national safety hazard. Maybe we can prevail and Mercedes will be forced by the National Traffic Safety Administration to do what they should have been a long time ago - that is to take responsibility and RECALL ALL THESE VEHICLES. It is now time for them to make a withdrawal from their big fat bank accounts and pay the consumer back.

My wife purchased a 2013 SmartCar on August 6, 2012 from Mercedes Benz of Cherry Hill New Jersey. unknowing to me when the car was delivered, Cherry Hill Mercedes failed to install the front licence plate bracket and only when the new New Jersey licence plates were delivered and I tryed to install them did I notice that the bracket was missing. I then called the dealer who told me to bring the car in and would address the problem however the temporary tags were no longer legal as they had expired. I advised the dealer of this cocern and he told me that his only option was to mail me the brackets (THAT REQUIRE DRILLING INTO THE CAR BODY) and have me perform that operation without experience or instructions to do so. As this was clearly an error made by the dealer at the time of delivery I requested that they send someone to my house with the bracket and do the installation or tow the car to the dealer to have the bracket put on the car there. The sales manger was firm and would not fix his mistake as I requested; At that point I had to call Mercedes Benz Corporate Headquarters who resolved the problem by having the car towed to the dealer for proper installation of the missing bracket.

do a down pymt of 5-10 thousand save the rest aside then mlthnoy should be about 3- 500 a month if you put down your whole 20 grand or 15 grand you might be hurting when you have to pay for the rest off mlthnoy plus your gonna get hit hard in the **** with insurance for buying a 2012 model benz..i prefer getting a used mercedes thats 2004-2009 ish also there are other cars you can snag for 20 grand thats better its not worth losing a kidney giving all your money to that..there are other models even nicely taken care of cars that people own themselves . maybe avoiding the car dealer is all good if you cant get the car for 30 or 28,000 i would walk away with your pride . remeber the older models of benz has some awesome cars with badassery in them plus you can get money for some nice rims tune up so your car performs 3x better than the 2012 model plus you have xtra money rember mo money mo money mo money ..

my car has been in the shop more times than you could shake a stick at. i've recently dumped over $12,000.00 into this car. today the shop tells me my cars worth $4,00.00. are you kidding me???? this is the kid of representation mercedes has. i'm recently divorced and i alone have been taking my car there. i feel they took advantage of me because i'm a women #1 and #2 i have no clue on what the say they may have done or NOT DONE. the car still runs like crap. please call so we can discuss this matter. thanks!!!! 1-732-675-3313

For the most part they are pleasant enough but can be somewhat unprofessional. I took my car for the A3 service which is the 40,000 mile. When I got home and took a good look at the invoice I only saw charges for the oil change, filter, oil etc and then 21/2hrs. of labor charges. To me it looked like a glorified oil change. Called the service manager, the service staff member I checked my car in with, and the Sales manager twice and emailed them. First contact was Aug. 2nd and the next contact was the 13th. Still no response. Very unprofessional and poor customer service on their part. I can see one person maybe not responding but all 3 people. What does that say about them? I will now be taking my car for future services to Edison, Ray Catena.

I recently signed a buyback contract from Mercedes - due to my 2011 needing a brand new engine. I signed and now after the fact they are asking me to pay them $609.00 because they said they just realized that they came up short. Also, the money they want is for a June payment (they had my car since APRIL) of which my car was parked in the back the whole time with no engine in it. I am very irritated and I need someone to call me ASAP. - they are threatening to go after my credit for 1 payment. Also, when I met in the Mercedes office - they said since I was making payments and insurance - while it was broken down in the back - they said they would pay a note. I have a 2011 Mercedes Glk with only 13,000 miles on it. Took it to the dealer to have brakes checked and they told me that the rotors are very rusted on both sides. The cause they claim is because I kept it in a heated garage. I could replace them for $1200 or they will do their best to clean them up. I have kept 3 Park Avenues, 1 Oldsmobile Bravada and a Nissan Murano in this same garage over the years and have never had this issue. Very disappointed in my Mercedes.

I brought the Mrecedes Benz for my wife in 2005 this car has so many problems. every year I bring it in for inspection and it always something worry with it. You would think because it a benz it will be ok but thats not the case. Mercedes is junk I have wasted my money on this car. Two years later I brought a Toyota lexus the best car ever and the Benz has only 45000 miles and in service every year. We I wish there was a class action law suit on the defect benz because Mercedes is not what they say it is.

When I came to purchase my car a brand new E500 4Matic in 2005 my daughter and I both were there to purchase a brand new Mercedes . I put 25,000.00 down and my daughter was going to put 10,000.00 we tried to get a discount for Two cars they wouldn't budge to give us a deal. I also notice that when other buyers were purchasing a car the photograph them with the car and they also gave them gifts . I recieved nothing .i felt like I had been treated differently because of my color. The first year I drive my car to myrtle Beach something went on the car and It had to be serviced out There which I was given a loaner car. I had nothing but hell with my Benz and so did my sister who purchase a S500 the following year she sued and won her case.the tires also went in the first year. Recently I took my car to be service on April 3,2012 because the dash board lights kept coming on. and was charged 3,000.00 .my sister inlaw past so I had to drive to NC. I had to return the car 2 days later for the same problem I was given a loaner car but I could not use it to go to NC because my plan was not to turn back around after a long drive. So I had to ride with someone else . On April 8 th I got a called from Rich /Tony they told me that it will cost 500.00 for repairs because they found the problem and they would pay half of the cost which was 250.00 . I said its not fair that I have to pay anything when the car is doing the same thing when I brought it there in the first place.I then was told it was something else. The car had been diagnosed in the beginning and the problem was suppose to be fixed when they charged me 3,000.00. I never had a repair done on anything and not given a price before hand of cost . When I ask for the cost of service I was told it would not be 3,000.0" and that I was getting a 20% discount when I went to pick up my car it was 3,000.00 we were lied to .and mistreated . My daughter and I were looking to purchasing new cars this summer .one thing I know for sure It won't be purchased in Paramus NJ. By the way my daughter brought her car from Ray Catena they treat her with respect and the gifts she got when she purchased her car unbelievable everyone was treated the same. My car this time will probably be BMW seem to meet more of the customers needs instead of there wallets for a lemon car that's boosted up to be the best,and it's not. My Jhetta never gave me a problem .mercedes lost its touch , it's class and it's workmanship .America lost its great mechanics .everyone is getting paid and satisfied except for the customers there going deeper into There pockets for crappy work.

Was told that if the lights come back on after spending 3,000.00 for repairs that they will not service my car because they did not like the message that I left . Which I said I was not going to pay for service to my vehicle that I just paid for 3 days ago for the same problem. All I was being told is that they need Thete loaner car back, and I told them I need my car back fixed and I will never bring my car to Prestiage again. So my guess is when I pick up the car they probably will make sure that I have problems with it. Horrible treatment to me as a loyal customer . they. Order pieces for your car that they don't use on your car and theechanic probably do side jobs and sells them to other ppl to make extra money. Just liked tires the air kept coming out , they claimed that a nail was in the tire, I don't believe it because my husband had tires rotated and my car was parked a month because I have two cars . They came out with this big nail it was a joke and that was the reason air was leaking from a brand new car tire . Where are the real mechanic ???? Machines are taking over and workers have become lazy and not really knowledgable about cars . back in the day There were no diagnostic machines it was all knowledge knowing what your doing ,not taking guesses at customers expenses and time.Very disappointed Paramus Mercedes dealership

Went to Mercedes dealership in Melbourne Florida. It could not have been a better experience. They all work together as a team including the owner. It was a very relaxed transaction in a new car purchase and Im the first to say I'm a hard sell. Thank you Shay Rowe for having such a great staff.

I bought the 2012 c250 coupe Iv had it for 6 months and the fuel pump has to be replaced already... I called corprate office and adv them of the situation and they are no help!!! This is my 2nd and last mercedes purchas... my 2010 GLK had issues with the brakes and the A/C I bought both brand new with 5 miles on them and this is happening... im really thinking about getting a Attorney to see if there is any kind of law suit that can be filed agains them for theses issues..... I guess im going to try BMW next....You would think with the the company being so prestigious ( SO THEY SAY ) they would try to have better customer service well was I SO WRONG!!!

Hi I just want you to know i puchased a 2008 ml350 with 18955 miles on 6/27/2011, from Mercedes Benz of Freehold N.J. The car had pulling issues on the road when driving. Also the tire pressure light was comming on constantly. Upon checking tire pressures i found the p/s rear tire was low. I adjusted the tire pressure as per the service manual to proper pressures. Light came on again. I brought the car to Mercedes Benz to have car checked. I reported the problem to them. They rotated the tires and gave me a oil change as a D service,on Febuary 29 for believe it or not $600.00. 1 month later light was on again and guess which tire was the problem? Thats right the p/s front. Upon the dealer checking the car again they told me i had a nail in the tire and needed an alignment for $425.00. This is a pre certified vehicle? There is no way the alignment should have, to be done at 35222 unless at pre certification it was not checked along with tire tread depth. Very upset to own a Mercedes Benz and the quality control is poor at best. The dealar also stated at 3/32th of an inch the tire was not covered. But if they would have checked the tires at schedual D they would have realized the car needed an alignment then. And may be the tire wouldnt have been 3/32th of an inch, and would have been warrantable. I am pissed!!!

I have a an E350 and the car and service is just what I expected. I have had the car for only about 8 months and I am seeing problems already. The biggest concern that I have are the oil leaks. I have taken the car to the dealer for it to be fixed. After paying and driving back home...I noticied that the oil leak has not stopped. I lifted up the hood only to find greasy hand marks all over the engine. None of their mess was cleaned up. I am not sure what they did under the hood, but they sure as hell did not fix the oil leak. I am just surprised that this is the type of service you get. This is not what I expected from a Mercedes Benz dealership. I am just not impressed anymore.

I have a Mercedes ML320 and I live in the United States Virgin Islands. When I bought the vehicle it had only one key. Now I'm getting a "start error" at the dash and sometimes when the car does start it immediately shuts off, after the second attempt it doesn't even turn over.The previous owner said that he was told that the crank position sensor needed to be replaced, which I got it done. However, that did not solve my problem the start error came back& this time it took almost one week before the car started. Well the technician told me that the computer is not reading the key therefore I need a new key! Well this is the screwed up part we do not have ANY MERCEDES DEALER IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS!! We are practically being refused the right to obtain a key to a vehicle that's legally& righteously ours! I know someone who currently can not drive their vehicle for almost a year now because they can't get Mercedes to send them a key! Well I refuse to sit there& allow this injustice to keep taking place! They knew they were going to put this new law if effect well they should have made exceptions for those of us over sees or don't allow anymore Benz to be sold out of the US! If I have to get together with all Benz owners in the Virgin Islands I will! I already have the support of 5othet individuals who also are in need of keys!!!!They need to realize that their are always exception to the rules especially in special cases like ours! We are being told that we need to either ship our vehicle to Puerto Rico or to Miami in order to get a key so my question is, okay who will cover the cost?! It's not our fault that the so called reliable brand& so called quality vehicle were built with these common flaws or defects that we now have to suffer with! I see this as a manufacturing problem therefore, we need to be able to rectify these issues in a less stressful and fair manner& if I do not get a resolution we will be moving forward with a class action, if u all know where I'm coming from!
