225 Reviews For Meijer, Inc Headquarters & Corporate Office

new layout of the store is deplorable...why is canned cat food two aisles away from cat treats? It's a mystery to me, too, & a grand waste of my time.

Facebook posting

Guys/Gals, I was in LP Meijers tonight to grab a few things and this store has really become a dump. Dirty floors, merchandise on the wrong shelves, broken down returnable bottle machines.....URGHHH!!!! It is reminiscent of the old Kmarts that it used to be. No wonder K mart is biting the dust, it's been mismanaged for years. Sorry to see Kmart closing but I feel it is a matter of time before they all fold. =\ A question on Facebook under: Downriver Things That Are Not There Anymore. I did not posted the number of comments affecting some of the area Meijers Stores but am posting in case someone from your Headquarters might like to review on positive and negative comments.

I shop at the Angola Indiana Meijer. We get all of our medication through the pharmacy. Be very carefull!!!!! They do put the wrong dosage on the bottles, and you will over dose if you do not pay close attention. I ended up in the emergency room. This could happen to anyone!!!!

your gas station on wilder is a joke. doors closed cant get in is stupid. i was there this morning to get some thing standing at your little service window in the rain wind and sleet while your people were woundering around thestore. if your going to be open than open the doors. if not close the store all the rest of the gas stations on wilder road are open to let u in. this is your bay city mi. store

I just walked out of Mijers in Cheterfield,Michigan. Most horrifying experience. I picked up a ROTTEN package of chicken. The smell on my hands was so disgusting, I had to leave the store. I washed my hands 6 times sanitized the heck out of them & that smell is still lingering. I will NEVER walk back into that store again. The smell made me throw up it was so bad. It has been over an hour after washing & sanitizing & the awful smell is still there. I reported to the store & they did not seem to concerned. The meat worker walked over & just started pulling the meat off the shelf. Nothing to the fact of is there something we can possibly do to make this horrible experience up to you. I have shopped there several times, but I cannot even bring myself to walking back into that store...EVER!!!

LOOKS LIKE THE BULK OF THE COMMENTS ABOUT MEIJERS ARE......ONE STAR.....THAT PRETTY IS PRETTY MUCH HOW I NOW FEEL ABOUT THEM AS WELL!!!!!!! THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS!!! THEY NEED TO TAKE SOME LESSONS FROM K-MART THAT IS FOR SURE!!!! THEY HAVE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION DOWN IN BLOOMINGTON, IL.

train your loss prevention employees better. not everyone is going to steal from your store. walking down every aisle i am in pretending to be on your cell phone is a classic give away that you are being watched. i guess thats what you get when you hire want to be cops.

I shop at the Meijers in Melrose Park Il. We have been buying cakes there since they opened. We have been buying the red velvet cake. After buying it everyday for the last a month or so for my father. They were fresh and very good. Went again to Meijers to buy more red velvet. Bought at least 9 piece had company. When we got home I noticed they were hard as a rock thats how stale they were. I was so mad call Meijer they gave us a refund. We stopped buying them for awhile. We started buying the 1/8 sheet cake it cost $8.99 which is very costly. Everything was fine, the cake sits on a golden cake board the cake filled the whole cake board. Within 2 weeks still buying the 1/8 sheet cake now you can see at least an inch on each side of the cake that how small they were making them. Still costing me $8.99. We stopped buying that so we went to the 2 layered round cake it was fine for a couple of weeks. They did the same thing to that cake. Made it very small. I called the manager and he made off as if I was making it up. I call corporate they seemed concerned. They connected me to the head manager at the store. I do not believe nothing will be done about this matter at all. The manager said that no one else has ever complained. Please is you buy the cakes and notice the difference please call corporate to complain. I do believe I will get the news involved just to show them that they have no right ripping us off. Please write Thank you

At the 12 and mound meijer I got kicked out for walking around for too long.,then when I told them I was look around but there was nothing I wanted to but they told me not to do that and if they caught me again they would call the cops. I've never liked that store since it opened and none of the meijer stores around warren are any better. You would walk around and they would have people follow you accusing you of stealing. Yes that makes people want to come back and but stuff. That store needs to get shut down.

Over the past year, I have seen Meijer change, but not for the better. They carry less and less quality products and are evolving into a cookie-cutter organization. Meijer seems to think they must compete with Wal-Mart, and in doing so, are losing their nitch in the market place. I find muyself shopping more and more at Krogers for I am getting what I want. What I am discovering is that Kroger's prices are surprisingly competitive. Each Meijer location no longer takes into consideration their particular customers. Rather, they force each customer into their mold. That is not a profitable way to run a business. I doubt upper management cares. I also doubt they read these posts. Keep up your standards Kroger...you have my business.

Your store in Tinley Park Ill never gets the food in that you adverise. Im tired of wasting my gas going to your store. I called corpate headquarters. The woman asked what was wrong. I told her. Now I know why you dont get your food on time, Her answer to my I should call into the store of see if they have what I want. How stupid??????

I go to meijer pharmacy on Wilson Ave. I am treated like crap because I have Medicaid as my secondary insurance. I work full time and work my ass off. I pay for benefits thru my job and have to pay additional for my Medicaid due to a health condition. Your arrogant Phamacist and Techs treated me like crap. I would like to put you in my shoes for a day and then see how you judge people who have Medicaid. You don't know my medical history you selfish bastards. Their behavior is unacceptable and I will be spreading the word about how horrible your pharmacy is.

Normally love Meijers but recently had an issue with price matching.....I bought large a can of nacho cheese for $7.33 @ Highland store on a Friday night. Upon rethinking my needs for a party, realized I needed 1 more can so while I was out running errands that next day, I stopped @ the Merrillville Meijers to pick up a second can. The price @ the Merrillville store (about 10 miles from Highland store) was $8.99. I realize different areas have different pricing, but 10 miles away? No problem, had my receipt with from the night before so I asked for a price match....can you believe that they WoULD NOT match the price from their own store that was just down the street that I had the receipt with from the day before? seriously??? What ever happened to customer loyalty or customer satisfaction???

Although I found my shopping experience to be somewhat satisfactory I experienced a disturbing, embarassing and inappropriately handled situation between Brian (a greeter) myself and a young man working in the cart corral. I had reported the inccodent to Chelsea (an assistant store director) and two other woman at the Cascade Meijer's service counter on 8-19-2012 at approximently 6 pm. I left my name and home number with Chelsea who stated the Store Director who would be contacting me regarding this matter. It is now Friday...( 5 days later) and as of yet no one has contacted me. This unprofessional inappropriate behavoir took place by your greeter yelling at the cart corral young man who had given me wrong instructions apparently about exiting the store and using I believe a handicap exit near the cart corral. This matter ended up with yelling, finger pointing and drawing a crowd of spectators due to Brians behavior. I was with my 10 year old daughter who was witness to this unprofessional behavior. I tried to calm Brian (your greeter) down by stating it was my fault I was exiting in the wrong area and that he shouldnt correct his coworkers behavior in this manner in front of customers or in private. (I have managed a restaurant and know how important return business is) You can not behave in this manner and expect customers to return. Which I wont be due to not only the behavior of your greeter at the Cascade Meijer but the disregard of Manager "Chelsea" who took my personal information telling me this would be handled and the store director would be calling me with no word 5 days later form either him or Chelsea herself. I was never apologized to by anyone and feel as though this matter was disregarded by your staff at the Cascade Meijers. I dont have long distance to call corporate headquarters and there is no 800 number other then for a survey on my store receipt which I called and left a detailed message on asking to be contacted about this matter!!!!! What kind of Managers run your stores??? Who lies to customers who have experienced such a negative situation?? I am certian you dont agree with this conduct do you?? I hope someone has enough respect for myself and my daughter to respond to me. I hope this will be taken care of by your headquarters because your store director has not even bothered to touch base with me and apoligize for the behavior of the greeter!!!

Today I visited my Lowell, MI Meijers which I have been shopping at since it was built and prior to that I was an avid Meijer shopper at the Cascade, MI store. I stopped by the pharmacy 1st to pick up a prescription. I paid the $50.00 copay for the RX which was $151.08 for .1mg/Gm cream....(just a note....it was a bit shocking to receive the cost for a tube of menopausal estrogen cream!) I was delighted to receive a $20.00 coupon from the pharmacy for my next purchase of groceries or fuel. Needless to say I decided to go and spend my coupon and purchased $50.00 worth of groceries. When I handed the checkout lady my coupon she stated she would not accept it. I requested to talk to a manager and Casey entered to picture saying...sorry can't accept this coupon need to cash it in at the pharmacy.....I said their is no fine print that states this and Meijers needs to honor the store coupons. Well....now comes another manager who provided me with a different excuse. I insisted on $20.00 reduction in my groceries and if I had to leave the store and then return I would walk out and then check out making this coupon acceptable. Got the run-anound! I asked to talk to the store manager....his name was Ryan Burke. He didn't arrive but Tom came to me and said it was company policy not to honor it. I explained to him that the fine print does not say that and that I have been a customer for 20+ years. I returned my groceries and insisted that the pharmacy return my money for the RX. Then I find out from the pharmacy that if I would have brought my groceries unto their checkout it would have been honored. This is the lesson....DO NOT SHOP AT MEIJERS. IT IS NO LONGER A STORE OF INTEGRITY AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. mY INTENT IS TO PROVIDE A LETTER TO CORPORATE REGARDING THE RUN-AROUND.

I visited Meijers in Lowell, MI this evening. I have been an avid customer of Meijers for 40 years. I began my visit with a trip to the pharmacy to pick up a RX. Paid the $50.00 co-pay for $151.08 RX estrogen cream(wow can one believe the costs today! I as delighted to receive a Meijer store coupon for $20.00 off and in red it states "off my next shopping trip or fuel purchase".....ventured off to do some grocery shopping and arrived at the checkout with a $50.00+ bill. I handed the checker my coupon.....and the problems began. "I can't honor this at the register"....I asked to speak to a manager....Casey arrived.....well you need to use this at your next meijer visit....i said it does not state that...I will walk out and return and then you can honor your coupon. I also stressed that the coupon was DECEPTIVE IN NATURE NOT STATING THE MEIJER COMPANY POLICIES. Next I talked to a different manager who stated a different reason why I could not use it. I asked to talk to the store manager....I believe his name is Ryan Burke....I waited for at least 15 minutes while the checkout began ringing other customers out and pushed me aside which in my opinion is extremely poor customer service. I took my Rx to the pharmacy and had to wait again....a store manager named Tom arrived. He was rude and unattentive to my request. Now I ask the phamacist for my money back....the RS had never left the store....Now I was told we don't take back Rx's. My point......after 40 years of shopping at this store I will never enter it again and I will certainly speak to each friend and family about the poor customer treatment and shaddy coupons. I always felt Meijers was a store of integrity....that is certainly what Mr. Fred Meijers strived to provide. I guess corporate greed overrides customer service. Sad to me!

COMMENT ON HELEN DAVIDSONS COMPLAINT .... IVE WORKED RETAIL FOR 40 YEARS... ALL COMPANIES MOVE MERCHANDISE FREQUENTLY, IT WILL NEVER CHANGE. THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO INCONVENIENCE YOU!!!!! THERE ARE SEVERAL REASONS FOR IT. #1 IS MAKING IT FIT, DIFFERENT SEASONS BRING DIFFERENT PRODUCT AND SOMETIMES STORES NEED MORE STRATEGIC POSITION OR AREAS TO MERCHANDISE THESE SEASONAL PRODUCTS. #2 SOMETIMES A PRODUCT THAT SHOULD BE SELLING AND ISN'T WILL BE MOVED TO AN AREA WITH MORE EXPOSURE. #3 KEEPING THE STORE LOOKING AS THOUGH IT HAS NEW PRODUCTS, MAKING IT LOOK DIFFERENT AND NEW, STIMULATES BUYERS TO LOOK MORE ETC. STORES ARE IN THE BUSINESS TO SELL. I'M SORRY TO BUTT IN ON YOUR COMMENT, BUT YOUR COMPLAINT IS COMMON FROM CUSTOMERS, AND IT IS AN UNREASONABLE COMPLAINT, BECAUSE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY RETAILERS CAN HELP MOVING MERCHANDISE, ITS LIKE RE-ARRANGING YOUR LIVING ROOM WHEN YOU GET A NEW CHAIR, YOU WANT IT TO BE WHERE YOU CAN SEE THE TV, AND YOU WANT IT TO LOOK NICE, AND YOU DONT WANT IT TO TRIP YOU UP ETC. GET IT!!!!!!

Meijer prides itself on saying they have family values. But I have to be honest, I have better enemies! This the most frustrating business I have ever worked for. PERIOD!!! I work two jobs and I feel I do a good job balancing the both of them. Becuause I am responsible when I need time off I ask of for the time months and months in advance. Despite the fact that I have had perfect attendance for over a year and I am a dependable and good worker I feel I get no respect. I see others who call off all the time or generally don't show up and even when they are there they don't work. They wander and text....yes text while on company time.I would think that someone they can count on would be given the time off when asked. Perhaps I should just call off instead of doing the right thing and asking off. I think Meijer needs to take a good look at the management and their communication skills. They don't give a crap about YOUR life or other committments. I need this job so I guess I will continue to fight every battle! And from reading many reviews and comments I don't think that my store is any different than the others. UGH

Twelve Mile Telegraph store No baskets, never has sale items, never possible to do just one trip because so many shelves empty, no visible prices on many displays (I don't mean item pricing), long wait to check out consistently, team members out of sight, don't know why I ever return. Interesting that cashiers always say "Did you find everything OK, and when you say no, they continue ringing. Why waste the energy.

F5042 MI C445647 Why do MI truck drivers use the both lanes and slow down going up hills in MI? This driver on 8/17/12 11:50 was heading esst on 94 held up traffic and caused braking, possible accidents because of using the passing lane while going below the speed limit. There were children in two of the cars blocked in because of the trucks.
