not sure what everyone is complainging about

Here's the deal. Mattress Firm is a great company. I have bought 3 mattress sets from them and also have sent several referrals in. I have always been shown great customer service and respect. Yes sales people are there but theyre only job is to help us find a mattress not like other companys.

Delivered a used mattress

I purchased a new tempur pedic king mattress with the support boxes in Tennessee and asked them to hold the order because I was moving to South Carolina. Close to 4000.00 I paid thinking I was receiving a brand new mattress and new support boxes but instead they gave me a used bed and will not correct this at all. Does anyone know what I can do to get the new bed I paid for or am I stuck with a bed that wasn't new. These people took my money and now I am thinking they are thieves. They knew how to sell the pants off of someone I give them that! I paid for a new bed, not a used one yet that's what I got.

Our experience at Mattress Firm - Arlington south location was wonderful. The sales man, Chris, was knowledgeable about all the products in the store and listened to what we were looking for and directed us toward mattresses that fit our needs. The store and beds were clean. After 4 hours, and staying open late, we had made our selection. They were ready to deliver the next day (a Sunday) -- but we needed to delay the delivery for a few days. After sleeping in our new bed for a few days we're just as happy with it as we were at the store. Great sales team and great product!

Bad Business

On January 1, 2013 we went to purchase a bed set and paid $200.00 down. On January 4th, Mattress Firm still was not able to give us any information as to when we were approved for a 90 day, same as cash deal, nor could they get a hold of the finance company to inquire about it. As of this date, 1/21/13 we are still waiting for our refund. They told us that Friday 1/4/13 after I canceled the order because of lack of communication, they said that the corporate office will only do refunds on Thursdays. Today is a holiday and no mail delivery. If no check tomorrow then drastic measures will apply. I would not recommend this company period.

I'am shocked to read all these horrible experiences that some past customers have had. I just want to say Mattress Firm in Houston, Texas the one on Hwy 6 South needs to commend Perla Aguirre, she was professional, kind, and example of superb customer service. She went out of her way to accommodate me and made sure I recieved the best experience with Mattress Firm. Mattress Firm you need to commend Ms. Aguirre and better yet promote her to train your sales staff on the do's and dont's of excellent customer service. I would like to believe Mattress Firm is in the business of excellent service as well as merchandise and DOES NOT want to rip off the American Public. Mattress Firm" Perla Aguirrre" her name says it all, she is a jewel in the Grown of Mattress Firm. Please give her the recognition she deserves. Maybe, if you have more people like Ms. Aguirre these comments would read more like mine. Thank You, again for Helping out one of our Young, Military Families.

thus company is so bad, they need to be put out of business if action is not tooken place the managers are rude n always trying to make threats with its workers, the job show favortism to its employees, they do not have secure itiems fa the workers, they fire workers if they get injured n nt able to get back up in work, some of the managers are show racism, the customers services is very very poor, beds are messed up, they managers talk to the customers n associates any type of way, its required by atate law that they recieve breaks if their working more than 6 hrs, well the mattress firm warehouse does not give them lunch breaks are 15 min breaks, in I can go on in on. so I really believe action need to be tooken care of. or just shut the business down or get new mangement into da office

There is no rating avail for the poor quality of customer service this company dishes out. Be ware and dont purchase from them. I purchased a mat and adjustable base. first they are out of stock. then they for got to put the order on the truck. so they will be out after five. I sat there all day waiting. they are coming that day between five and nine pm. at nine thirty they wake my neighbor up and try to deliver the mattress to him. Needless to say I did not accept the shipment and canceled the order. by the way all we heard from the store sales person is the company wants to have 1200 stores God forbid.

What a joke this company is!!! I had to wait 4 weeks before "inspector" came to check my mattres and see if there is a problem. He just took 6-7 pictures to proof that ther is no saging and that was it! I got my request denied because there is no problem according to the pictures!!! It does not mater that when i sit on the mattres i sit in a hole!!! Now i have to wait another 3 weeks before i can call for another inspection, but what is the point of that!?!

The worst company ever for refunds been waiting 6 weeks for my refund of my mattress SOFT beds yes unfortunately I bought 2. Don't deal with this company ever, I had to file a dispute with my credit card co. NEVER AGAIN.

Why do they sell mattresses that are guaranteed for 20 years and then tell you that you have to change every 8 years????

Gosh, my story sounds like many others i have recently read. I have a sinking feelng that I chose the wrong company to purchase my new mattress from..... we have been lied to twice about when the mattress would be delivered. They sure enough took my credit card but i have yet to see my new mattress. "couldn't find the mattress" "wasn't loaded onto the truck coming out of Austin" and i had called the store 3 times to make sure it was loaded and on its way. Now the latest story is that it is coming out of San Antonio, going to Austin and then to Bastrop and then out to my house in the country tomorrow night. We shall see....if it doesn't show up tomorrow as promise (again), i will get a refund and go where there are reliable, trustworthy, and believable folks. NOT PLEASED AT ALL WITH THE SERVICE....from THE MATTRESS FIRM, BASTROP TEXAS, STORE MANAGER: JOSEPH RILEY.

Would not recommend this company to anyone in search of a new mattress. I purchased a king size mattress paid cash $2,300 was given a delivery date week and a half out. Had to move all furnishings myself take off work to wait and delivery never came. After calling several times to check on delivery was assured he would be here. Called spoke with management and was told " delivery was not made because he would have to make a 20 min detour and would made his other deliveries late". No courtesy call was made to us. To me a late delivery is better than nonebut the worse was to be told that by a manager. They are FAR from professional.

wish i could give less stars than this, have never seen worse customer service in action than these guys have been able to display.. what good is a warranty if this company refuses to make good on them? all i can say is to avoid at all costs..

Truly a NO STAR experience. After waiting 8 days for the delivery of new mattress set and preparing for the delivery, we were told that they did not have the set and had no idea when they would have it. It might possibly arrive on the next delivery two days later. It is two days later and no mattress and of course no idea when it might arrive to their warehouse. Tried to push off a lesser mattress, then a mattress that was soiled(an upgrade according to the warehouse manager). We were told they would not credit our card when we asked for a cancellation of the purchase, but would send us a check in the future with no idea or time of refund. We have cancelled the order, called our credit card company, and started a dispute process. This was for a business B&B - so we are losing rental money because of Mattress Firm. Do not do business with this company. It is the most unorganized firm we have ever done business with in our lives.

I purchased a mattress set 4/3 which was not available in the store at the time. I was assured by the sales rep. that I would be able to pick it up 4/9. I returned to the store to pick up the set, was informed that only the box was there, not the mattress. The sales rep informed me that he would have the set delivered to me. I received a call from the sales rep 4/9 stating that a new person was assisting with deliveries and forgot to load my mattress set on the truck for delivery ( NOT MY PROBLEM). At this time, yes, I'm very frustrated. Sales rep was informed of my schedule and he constantly told me that could have the set delivered via a time frame of 8p-11p (who want to be up waiting for a delivery that late at night? On 4/10, the sales rep called me to say that the set would be delivered 4/11 - time frame 8p-11p (No set delivered), very upset with the customer service. I will not purchase items from this business again.

I bought a sealy memory foan mattress from Mattress Firm in galveston tx. ITS 2months old. My husband and i just moved into a new house.When we picked up the mattress we found mold in between the boxed spring and mattress. We called the store we got it from talked to the manager about what happen. I was so happy to hear that he was going to make it right and bring us a new one. But when the drivers got here it was a diffrent story.They said they couldnt pick it up because we had to store it in the garge because my husband has been sick dew to mold. little did we know that we were sleeping in it. On top of it we got a mattress cover for it that they said we need to have to protect the mattress it is called protect a bed premium mattress protector 50.00 for that.They said it would garentee that if anything gets on the mattess for life. Not true. Im upset because the manager gave us his word. Then took it back because we didnt want a moldy bed in our new house. Oh let me add that our grauge is attached to the house clean and dry and the mattress was only in there a few hours before they were sopsose to pick it up. Also what diffence does it make the mattress is alread recked anyways . So buyers bewair Mattress Firm will do you wrong.Check your bed for mold in between the box sping and mattress.

I have a passion for producing Top Performing Sales Professionals. The only choices we have is to either hire Top Performers or to grow them. Let's face it, we are now in the position to have to grow them. As an inovative company such as Mattress Firm, I believe timing is perfect to re-introduce a solid, progressive Sales/Client Service Campaigne. What they don't tell you is that when you purchase 2 adjustable (electric-powered)bases to accommodate the split king (twin) mattresses is that you'll have one hell of a time making the bed but, even worse, is that you have to buy a kingsize comforter set that comes with the king bedskirt that you have to cut to fit around the metal posts at the foot of the bed (these keep the mattress from sliding off the foundation when you elevate it), and 2 twin extra long mattress pads that are 2 big for the mattresses, plus you have to buy (and this is the big clincher) you have to buy a king set for the flat sheet and then purchase 2 twin sheet sets, so you'll have the 2 fitted sheets for the mattresses. What an outrageous expense and waste of sheets you can't use from the set, especially after plunking down $8,000 for the beds.
