105 Reviews For Marshalls Headquarters & Corporate Office

Terrible experience at the store in Clark the shoe associate was suppose to be holding a pair of men's crocs in black and after I drove from elizabeth nj to Clark come to find out she didn't put anything away for me she didn't even show me the right shoe I asked for she barely spoke English , than to top off the terrible experience I looked for the manager and when I approached him He turned to me and said he would speak to her than he laughed at me with another associate but the crazy thing was the joke was basically on him . He was like 400 lbs and dressed as sloppy as ever and couldn't walk from one register to another and had the nerve to laugh at me. I thought he was going to help me out but instead he found it funny very rude people and worst customer service ever . I would like to know where they found him at .

Won't shop there anymore!! tried to return a pair of sneakers that my son wore for two weeks, and the manager refused to take them back. She was also rude, insulting, and a pure disgrace as a manager representing a major company. Will continue to shop at Kohl's where they treat their customers with respect!!

Terrible return policy!!! I went in without a receipt for two dresses I had purchased in January, 2013. The manager scanned the items and told me they were no longer in the system and that I had to keep the items and was unable to get a store credit. The store policy is supposed to be up to six months without a receipt and you can get a store credit. The scanner, apparently, was not working. The items are supposed to be in the system for at least six months. She basically told me that I was lying and that I purchased the items one year ago, when, in fact, I did not! I said okay then. I got back in my car and began looking through the car for the missing receipt. I found it after about ten minutes of searching. Went back into the store and my receipt said that I had purchased the two items in January, 2013. I showed her that I found the receipt and she said, “Oh good”! No apologies from this manager. Learn some respect! I asked her how many people this happens to everyday. It is so unfair. She just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. What happend to pleasing the customer? Not in the Holmdel, NJ Marshalls!!! Very disappointing!!! She basically told me that I was lying and when I went back with the receipt, she didn’t even apologize. People do misplace and lose receipts. Fix your system!!! Your customers deserve better!

Marshalls in Cedar Hill Texas

The employees at this Marshalls are rude and unlike any Marshalls I have ever shopped at, and we have to been to many Marshalls Stores in Southern California and in Arizona. This Marshalls obviously hires employees who do not believe in customer service and act unprofessionally and disrespectfully to customers. It makes the place look cheap and substandard.

I had a horrible experience at a Chicago Marshalls, After complaining to the corporate office,I had complete satisfaction. To top it off I hear from friends in Chicago that the particular store I complained about has improved in customer service. Thanks Marshalls for training your staff. Mary in Duluth, mn.

Horrible experience

Today was my first time shopping at Marshall's. The product was fine the store was upbeat. My issue was when I was ready to check out. Along with other 5 other customers in line. There was 2 employees at the register. Only one employee was checking customers out while the other was standing behind the cash wrap talking to a customer that was obviously a friend. How unprofessional and rude! I will not be back! Griffin, ga

Cust. Serv. So Bad Celebrities Walks Out

Michael Douglas's son walked out of the Okemos, Michigan store after the staff there was abusive towards Mr. Douglas's grandson and waved other customers past the ten year old child who was trying to check out.

Please Don't Forget Your Employees

I've worked at Marshalls for many years and am currently training to become a manager. I'm very concerned about the dwindling support for our employees. My district has strict guidelines on how many full time employees we can have, but we are not upfront about this in hiring. I've seen single, hardworking parents have their hours cut without notice in order to maintain the balance. I've also noticed we've had to throw away our hiring signs that say "competitive wages" considering we only pay minimum wage. This company was one of the only ones to grow extraordinarily during the recession. Please do not forget it was because of your loyal employees hard work. It breaks my heart to see people come into work hungry because of the erratic hours and payroll we are allowed. I love this company, don't let it become a Walmart. Oh, and your propaganda style anti-union videos are very entertaining, but you aren't fooling anyone.

Never Returning

Was most displeased with the rude service I received when checking out. The store manager spoke to me as if I were a bother to her. Does she not realize that it's the customer that pays her salary and not someone in a corporate office. This Palm Desert, CA store was dirty, and the bathrooms filthy! I will not be returning!!!

Your return policy for the Christmas Holidays is very unfair. I had my receipt for the merchandise I was returning,. I didn't want a store credit. I was told my 30 days started on the day of purchase. That find for normal seasons. Shoudn't apply for the christmas holidays .The 30 day return should start from the 25th of December til January 25th that is a fair 30 days return.

I am a resident of Methuen Ma. and shop at the Methuen Loop. The Marshalls there has been going down hill. It is outdated, neglected and the merchandise is poor quality. I shop in other Marshalls in other parts of the state and Florida and it is totally different quality. I have called headquarters and notified Customer Service they said, they would forward my comment to the proper department. I HOPE SO. Hoping to see an improvement in the near future.

The Grand Opening for the new HomeGoods store in Plattsburgh, New York is set for Sunday, 09/23/12. As a loyal TJX Rewards Customer, I recently received a "special" invitation letter" for being a loyal customer that invited me to preview the new store prior to the Grand Opening. The special preview was today, 9/21/12 from 4:00-7:00 pm. The special invitation stated that I was welcome to bring a friend, and that I was required to bring the special invitation letter with me, along with my TJX Rewards Credit card that would allow me and my guest entry into the new store for the preview. When I arrived at 4:03 PM, I was surprized to see HUNDREDS of people who simply walked into the store with no special invitation letter, or credit card. I contacted the Store Manager, Bridgett, to express my disappointment. She said there was no way for the greeters to distinguish the general public from TJX rewards customers, so she had to let anyone and everyone in. I reminded Bridgett about the "special invitation" requirements; and even read the letter I received to her. I respectfully challenged her statement about the greeter's inability to distinguish special guest customers; however, she said there was nothing she could do and hoped I would return to the store in the future. I want to express my sincere disappointment and frustration about the lack of respect for loyal customers like myself. I am a very loyal customer and a great cardholder who has never been delinquent in statement payments and believe all of the loyal customers who showed up deserve an apology letter from Home Goods acknowledging their lack of respect.

I have observed the shoppers I've encountered from Marshalls. Not all of course but many are rude, inconsiderant, destructive and with a big chip on their shoulders. I only gave 2 stars because of a few nice or pleasant mostly older shoppers. I cannot understand why they think they should destroy merchandise and the restrooms. I don't work for Marshalls but the vibe from their shoppers is so bad I won't be shopping there. The theft must be terrible too to have sensors on low priced items and high security. I also don't shop at Ross,TJ Maxx or Walmart for the same reason. I just don't like seeing employees treated like doormats. If you're looking for a good book to discribe what it's like to work in one of these stores or low paying jobs read Nickled and Dimed. They are overworked, underpaid and abused by the customers on a continuing basis.

During my shopping experience at your store in Lakewood,Waashington, I was followed by the loss and prevention employee as soon as I walked into the store. When I went to check-out these employee followed me to the check-out counter, and stood there until my purchase was complete. As I approached the door, this employee made the comment that the door alarms was not working correctly. The alarm had just sounded prior to my approach. Once I approached the door this same employee stood next to the door,as if to grab me. I was a faithful customer, not anymore.

Marshall's in the Columbia Heights Neighorhood of N.W. Washington, D.C. has terrible sale personnel. The store floor personnel are "GHETTO" DISRESPECTFUL AND VERY LOUD AND BOISTERIOUS IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. MARSHALLS REALLY NEED TO DO A RESTAFFING OF THE 14TH STREET STORE.

I have called customer service three times . I was approved for a credit card at a San Angelo, TX store but never received the card. I still don't have it. Maybe I was not really approved or it went somewhere else but either way I would really like to know what happened. When I called there was a problem with the address so we went over it all three times I called. Really, how hard is it to get an address right? Must be very difficult because the card never got to my address. I do not live in the same town where the cars was issued but that should not make any difference. All I want to know is what really happened. Can't get an answer.......

Let me tell you TJMAXX and Marshalls , the same place really , are trying to accuse their CUSTOMERS of stealing all the time. When in fact their own employees were getting fired and arrested for stealing merchandise and running it out the back door. I had a problem in Steel Creek, Charlotte , N.C. with a Jack waggon employee was always making accusations about CUSTOMERS peeling off price tags. She was a LOONEY because there was no price tag for weeks on a product. The end of the story was , the same Jack waggon Lady got arrested for stealing and taking things out the back of the store. The manager had Tattoos on his arms legs that he didnt look human. And he was a CUPCAKE Hint Hint

Marshalls is failing as a Business now , WHY , Because big Departments stores will not let them buy Merchandise for cheap . And now Big time department stores Like Macys are throwing their own deep discount sales to liquidate . Marshalls dont blame the customers take action and make your own brand and stop libeling and defaming CUSTOMERS who have supported you for the last 25 years . STOP it you British Bastards
