I just want to say something about the assessment. I have completed an application for Lowes at one store and passed and hired . Because relative worked there as manager which had nothing to do with it.. It was retracted. So roughly opening at another store opened up and put application in for two areas and the again I have to do assessment.. Why do I need to take the test every time I apply! I just wanted to let somebody know anyone how crazy this test is.... and unfair. I already passed it!

bought a Lawn mower and it was sold to some one else .

I think it is bad Business when you buy something and come back and they have sold it again to some else and didn,t have another one like it. I think I will never shop their again. We have spent a lot of money there. It is in Somerset , Ky.

Lowes TITANTIC Corporate

The personnel who are there in corporate(just try an reach a real person)and if you do, to assist you they really could care less about your issues with their stores, but want you to put you in touch with someone who will call you in 24-48 hours that does care about your problem.Ahhhhhhhh why bother?

Calgary, Canada

Lowes appears to be the same useless store in every country. The people here in Calgary, 2909 Sunridge Way N.E. break into a sweat trying to remember what day it is! No one at this store knows what is going on, everyone says I will look into it and call you, good luck getting that call. In a 9 week period I spent 25+ hours in that store reordering product that they screwed up. Waiting/tracking another order that finally came in and they lost it! How the frig you lose two large vanities in the back of the store I don't know. 9 weeks with over $2,000 paid out and nothing to show for it. Finally gave up and got a refund and still have not heard from any manager about the problem. Customer service does not exist at Lowes. Brain cells do not exist at lowes. employees must be hired based on who is the slowest, dumbest and least concerned about going anywhere in life. I will never even look in lowes again. I have a full basement to work on and other projects but lowes will not get one penny from me.

Professionalism and Ethics no longer available

I am a 20 year retired veteran, have owned my own business and built 2 homes using Lowe's products. I have been unemployed since September 2012. I have applied for no less than 8 separate position's with this company only to receive a email stating they have chose someone else. Maybe it's my age but I feel it's more my gender. Service at the stores I have entered has been horrible. Professionalism and Ethics no longer exist at Lowe's. I will only shop recommend and seek employment with Home Depot. There customer service is top notch. . If I had any Idea of the Poor Quality of Lowe's Human Resources, I wouldn't have wasted all that time. . Shame on you Lowe's, you reap what you sow. I recently purchased a refrigerator from the Castle Rock Lowes. Every person I came into contact with was courteous, knowledgeable,and professionable. When the fridge was delivered the delivery men were totally careful and professional. Most delivery personal I have dealt with were not anywhere near as careful. One of the men's name was Devin; I didn't get the other mans name.

Carpet

Purchased carpet several months ago, what they sold me and showed me in the store was not what they installed, they have tried to tell me that the samples are steam to make them look better, all I have been getting is total bull and lies this if fraud cancelled my account and I will never buy from them agin. I also purchased counter top and this was a total nightmare I don't know why I I thought they could be trusted.

shame on you

purchased a refrigerator on a friday they said they would deliver it on sunday and the would call on saturday to let me know what time it would come on sunday know one called on saturday so i called they said that i took the freg with me i said no i did not you told me it would be delivered then they said the could not deliver it till sunday the did not deliver on sunday i have lost all my food in my freg because it broke down on saturday i went to lowes because of their promise of next day delivery so much for that lowes can sick their freg and store were the sun don't shine. dirty dogs

WTF??

Sitting here reading all the negative complaints people leave! Wow! You would think that a corporate person MIGHT take heed to these and try to change the way things are done! Nope! They don't care about people at all (both customers AND employees). All they care about is money money money!! Sell sell sell...buy buy buy!!! Maybe taking a better look at your Infrastructure might do the trick??? This is a terrible place to shop AND work!!!

mower trailer on puchase

the chinese trailer i was promise at purchase of my riding mower in april of 2013,I bought a mower that with a trailer that has never been delivered and hear it is the middle of july never ever told by the store at purchase that it was never there. Corporate has not only apologize for this mistake but has will not admiit of the total cluster-f---. of this going forward. I would urge all people that bought mowers. to sue lowes for breach of promise

Thank you to two store associaes

I often visit the cypress palms store on Bruce B Downs Tampa Florida I ordered from Associate Chad and he was so so helpful and very helpful to me in the purchase and was very pleasing to talk with plus knowledgeable about the use of the store products.I would also wish to thank the young girl April in the garden center who was very helpful in locating a particular plant . She was very helpful on trying to figure out the plant that uses less water here in Florida thank you for the two important associates who brighten my day.FOR NUMBER1

Lousy Delivery

Bought a refrigerator and was told I'd have it delivered the next day 1:00 - 3:00 PM.....3:00 passed and I never heard from the delivery company OR LOWE'S! Called the local store and they don't know where my refrigerator is. Calling the delivery company puts you on hold for 30+ minutes! Will NEVER shop at Lowe's for anything requiring a delivery...just not worth it...the delivery company has REPEATEDLY done this to customers in CT...Home Depot right down the street...better yet, local Ace Hardware!

Don't respect All Veterans

I am a Navy veteran who served my country just like all other veterans. Lowe's no longer offer a 10% discount unless you meet special requirements. I had a Veterans card that shows that I have benefits with the Veterans Administration but it is not the "right" card. I have bought a ton of merchandise from Lowe's in the past, but since they turned me down this last time, I have not bought not one thing and don't intend to. They used to accept this same card but don't now. I go to Home Depot and they are glad to accept it without any questions. Lowe's is going to lose a lot of business over a very small discount. It all adds up. I will be writing to corporate to complain. A veteran is a veteran no matter what type of "card" they have. They are so un-American.

treated poorly

we went to pay, my husband, 78, shows his military card and they refused the discount. said if he was not a career service man than no discount. we do not need the discount,, it is the principle of the situation. the young snot whom was playing manager, had the intelligence of a wet noodle. showed no respect. store was Perrysburg, ohio

What your company is doing to my dad makes you the most evil and pure scum on the earth. You should be ashamed on how you are treating one of the best employees you ever had. I am telling everyone I meet what garbage runs your company and to NEVER shop there.

Hamilton location = super disappointing!!!! Called to order a product and was constantly put on hold. I was told that a manger would call me back... over an hour later I had to phone back!!!! I am frustrated and taking my business to Canadian Tire or home depot. This company just lost out on $300-400. will never shop there again

Dryer parts

I am disgusted by the pricing of parts for your products. I found a price for a Heating element for a Maytag dryer over $50.00 cheaper than what your company rep was asking including shipping. I will not purchase any appliances from your store in the future.

Round Up

I will never shop at your store again until you decide to pull that poison from your shelves. Round Up which is killing the environment and our Bees. I am telling everyone I can to Boycott your stores from the West Coast to the East Coast. The word is getting out.

Terrible customer service!

Too long a story to detail, but management does not stand behind what their customer service says on the phone. Manager Frank At orangeburg store needs training! I would not put him in a stock room!
