First of all...lets make it clear!!! I love Les Schwab tires, I have them on all my cars,,,ITS THE PEOPLE AT THE STOREs THAT NEED HELP!!!!!. NOT 45 MINS LATER...your Customer Service IS PATHETIC!!! In regards to the Les Schwab store in Reno Nevada at 9500 S. Virginia St.: I go in to get a brake inspection done knowing pretty well that the rear brakes will have to be done. I asked them how long for the inspection and they tell me about 45 minutes. Well thirty minutes later they call me to the counter and Houk has a price quotation in hand for new tires ranging from $676.55 to $1,064.32! He tells me he can’t take off the rear tire in order to check the rear brakes because the tire is worn down on the inside. Once he takes the tire off he cannot legally put it back on. I tell him I know about the tires but I would like to have the brakes checked first and if they need to be done have them done first before I buy new tires. He tells me I need to buy new tires before he can check the brakes! What a bunch of B.S. he is trying to up sell me for $700.00 telling me it’s a company policy and that is what their lawyers want them to do. I guess in the future I’ll go see their lawyer about brakes and tires, NOT! So I drive to Costco and got new tires out the door for $615.00 and am going to Firestone for the alignment tomorrow as well as the brake inspection and most probably the rear brake repair. Way to hire from the used car lot Les Schwab, had you handled it differently you would have had the sale for the entire job for about $1,200.00

Tumwater, Wa. store---I had a rear brake pad that need replacement. This store wanted to replace the calipers and the pads at cost of $400.00+, for one side. I went to Firestone and had the pads and rotors on both sides replaced at a cost of $290.00--The calipers were not replaced (they didn't need replacement). I personally feel that this store was just trying to get more money from me by doing unnecessary repairs. I hope this is not Corp. policy and that practice is limited to this store.

I brought my Beetle in for a flat tire into Les Schwab Lake Stevens Wa @ 5:30 pm on Monday the 26th, 2010. Luis told me that he couldn't fix my tire because the tread was to worn, and he aired it and I needed a new tire. I told him I couldn't afford one. We went back to the register and he asked me to sign the invoice for the Flat tire repair. I asked him why I would sign it (with an amount of 12.50 on it) when the tire wasn't fixed. He said just sign it. I wrote on the invoice, didn't fix and signed my name by it. He wasn't happy about it tore the invoices and told me I could back my car out myself, that I could take it from here, back straight out, my car was over the open bay. (very unsafe) Luis walked to work in front of my car took my invoice kinkled it in a ball and thru it by the toolbox., then he stood there with his friend and talked and laughed at me and my daughter. I got out of my car and went and picked it up, It was the other half of my invoice. They looked at us and laughed and shook there heads. My daughter and I went next door to Safeway, called them back as I was airing my tire, The manager Barry new where I was didn't have the customer service to offer to bring my car back and put air in it, or apologize for his employees rude and hateful behavior. In fact he was only asking if I needed tires at that point and didnt see anything wrong. I have never been treated so badly in my life, or put in unsafe situations, driving away with a flat tire or getting into my car and back out over an open stall with my daughter. I dont want anyone else to ever be treated like this. My invoice # is 374097. Sincerely, Tanya J.

LES Schwab 9500 so. Virginia st. Reno NV. After Brett and Rick Installed my tires got 5 miles down the road and had blow out. Was on interstate going 70MPH. All they had to say was Too bad you didnt buy the tires from us. Up yours Les Schwab. Never again

We took both our Honda and our Oldsmobile to the S. Carson St. location in Carson City, Nevada for front brakes. While the Olds seems to be fine, we have had to return multiple times regarding the Honda. From the beginning we expressed concern that the master cylinder could be involved and were repeatedly told that was not the issue. They replaced a defective caliper that they had installed, bled the line (which should have been done as part of the initial brake job), and suggested that a leaky rear bleeder valve was the problem. When they finally took it for a test drive on the fourth return, they now felt that it was a faulty ABS valve(quoted at $700) because they saw the ABS light on. Since that ABS light had been on for a few years, we knew that, yet again, Les Schwab had failed to accurately diagnose the problem. Convinced that the car was not operating safely with a spongy pedal and inability to remain stopped, we took the Honda to the local Just Brakes shop. Upon test drive and inspection, it was confirmed that the master cylinder was indeed what needed replacement. Two hours later, the Honda no longer exhibited the problem. It is hard to accept that repeated visits to Les Schwab resulted in no satisfaction. Even though we had been loyal to Les Schwab for years for tires, we will not return. Furthermore, we will refuse to recommend them to others.

I am writing to find out whom I need to speak with about an issue I had recently. I live in CA and went to a Les Schwab in Manteca, CA where I was told that I needed new brakes. I was told tat not only were my brakes bad they were totally gone on the front left and I was driving metal to metal. The job est was over $300.00. I then went to a brake specialist down the road and was told that the front left had 11/16 th still left and I did not need a brake pad or rotor as stated by Les Schwab. Why was I lied to and is this standard polidy for your company...?

I am sorry that you did not respond to my complaint and that it is still on the internet that I wrote, Koodas to you that you did not do any thing about the situation. Evidently when Les Schwab died that all of his standards died with him. It is a sorry fact that you don't even acknowlodge a problem is a thing that I will have to take to another so called reputable dealer in the products you handle. I was not happy with the 92 Camero when it took it in and not happy with this civic and will tell all that I know what happened. Keep up with the employees and not check references that don't tell any thing but lies, 30-60 day that take away from clients have in their cars and keep making it a mess. Maybe something will click, as I have heard from others who have had problems with the company in various places in the states.

I have always delt with Les Schwab for tires and all things concerned with the products that you have for vehicles. Today I was very disappointed with the service that I got. I HAD ALL SHOCKS DONE ON MY 04 CIVIC 2 door coupe, and when I got home I saw that the 60-40 seat in the back seat was down and the things that I had in the trunk had been gone thru and in disaray and JUST IN A JUMBLE! I couldn't believe that if they [the employees] rummaged the car that they didn't make it right or look like when it was left when the got it to fix it. Also I had a bag of money, change so that I would not be with out in a pinch. You cannot tell me that the trunk needs to be open, seat down just to put 4 new shocks, front and back that the car needs to be treated like that when a vehicle that was left there.
