Dear Corporate representative It seems there is no other way to contact you. I am not rating you at this time, however, I have a GIFT CERTIFICATE for the Portland Convention Center Hotel which by the way does no longer exist. It seems the person who issued the Gift Certificate, MERTIE WILLIAMS DOS, DOES NOT EXIST EITHER. Please advise me how I go about securing this KING EXECUTIVE ROOM as soon as possible. I have visited LaQuinta-Woodward,OK several times. It advertises a "heated pool". Over a period of 3 plus months, the water is FREEZING!! The desk staff are liars, in that their excuse has been the heater is "broken". They have never made an effort to fix it. Children have tried to enjoy it,and had to get out,it was so cold

Disgusting experience in Harrisburg La Quinta. Dirty. Stinks. Incompetent desk.

Hotel room was filthy. The floors had dirt all in it, brown dirt... looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. The bath tub had hair all in it, it had black stuff all in it. Disgusting stay.

I used to stay at La Quinta in Bakersfield on the way to Northern California. One major reason is I take my little dog with me. This last time, September 4th., I was told the rate for the same room we always stay in was $64 + tax. We checked in and everything seamed OK. When my wife went to wash up the water just trickelled out. I checked the shower and it looked OK until I went to use it. The water was either way too hot or it was freezing and then it stopped all together. The reason I got from front desk was "yes we have had a little trouble with the water lines. When I checked out to top it off the rate was $88.00. The only explanation from the clerk was "That the rates are based on occupancy". I asked what that meant and I only got the same pitch. Rates are based on occupancy. I got the managers card and called later that day. I told her voice mail what happened and that I was outraged at their treatment during our stay. I never got a return call but to their credit they credited my account for the charges. If I were to stay at a La Quinta things would have to be clearly understood as to rate and does the water work. swcooper50@gmail.com SWC

I agree with the other comments. 1 star is too many. My husband and I used to travel to the Austin/Round Rock areas and we always stayed at La Quintas and never had any complaints. Recently, my husbands son who is in the Navy got a 5 day leave. He was driving from San Diego to Lewisville, Texas and on to Oklahoma. We reserved a room for he and his wife. He'd been up for well over 24 hours and driving for 22 hours when he arrived at the hotel. Prior to his arrival, I had called and given my credit card info and told the person to whom I gave the info that it was for my husbands son, though I was paying with my card. They never indicated this was a problem. The night before, my husband called to ensure that everything was confirmed so that his son would have no problem when they (he and his wife) checked in. The lady assured him that she appreciated the folks in the Military and that if he needed anything, to let her know. So, they arrive and were told that they could not have a room because they didn't have the credit card that was used to book the room and they needed it to the guarantee payment. I had a confirmation that stated that the credit card was the guarantee for the room. So, he called my husband and my husband asked him to put the clerk on the phone. He refused to get on the phone. My husband called back up to the hotel and got the clerk who explained that they couldn't check in because they didn't have my credit card. So, I got on the phone (since my husband was understandably upset at this point in time) and asked that if I brought the card to them, could we go ahead and get them checked in. The clerk said that my husbands son was rude to the clerk and so they didn't really want to let them have the room. I asked them if the real problem was that they'd overbooked and didn't have a room. He said that wasn't the case but that I was welcome to think what I wished. I asked to speak with a Manager. He said he was a Manager, but had a higher level Manager I could speak to, at which point he transferred me into voice mail. I called back to the front desk and the phone rang in excess of 100 times and no one ever picked up. When I first was looking for a place for my husbands son and his wife to stay, I noted that this LaQuinta in Lewisville Texas on Corporate and 35 only rated a couple of stars, but due to the history that we had with them, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I can now state emphatically that I will never ever again patronize a LaQuinta Inn and I highly recommend that if you want good customer service and a to be treated as a paying guest, do not make a reservation at this hotel. It was a horrible experience for a young man who is serving his country. Needless to stay, other arrangements were made and hopefully due to the lack of customer service, this establishment won't be in business much longer.

Worst experience ever everythingwas dirty. The housekeeping ladies walk down the halls yelling at each other. Not to mentionhow rude. The girl in the front desk was. NEver again will I stay at a Quinta hotel

I would give 0 stars if you had it. I am furious. After seeing that the front desk messed up our bill by over charging us $180.00 dollars and waiting 1 and a half hours for it to fixed, I just received my Visa bill in the mail and discovered that I was charged 3x"s the amount! The hotel staff also thought it was fine to be out in front of the hotel smoking and drinking beer while on duty. I will never stay at another La Quinta again. You can keep your points that you threw at me for "my inconvience"

I stayed at La Quinta Inn, 1515 South Coast Drive in Costa Mesa on August 20, 21 of 2012. I paid the first two days upfront in cash up front when I arrived. The second day, however, I became upset because the maid who cleaned my room is a sneaky slight of hand thief and she took a small item. I went to housekeeping and complained. I was unhappy so I took a short taxi ride over to the nearby Ayres Hotel at 325 Bristol Street on August 22 and I checked in there. I was told that they would need my credit card information in case of phone calls and incidentals. Two weeks later I was looking at my online banking and I saw a charge for $902. Because I had already paid in cash so I was surprised to see this charge. I called La Quinta Inn to complain and they said their records show I was there eleven days. The manager whose name is Bonnie is dodging phone calls and wont return calls. I immediately called my bank to dispute the charges applying after the date of August 22 on the basis I was not at La Quinta Inn after the date of August 22, I can prove I was at the Ayres. It will be a difficult struggle to get $902. worth of erroneous charges taken off my bill and it may take 45 days to do this. I will never again go to any La Quinta Inn any location, any fututre time for any reason. The lesson I have learned is when you are a guest you could be a victim of theft. If you also give La Quinta Inn a credit card they may abuse this information and it will cost the unhappy victim much time and resources to fight it. I rented a room on September 1 2012 with my husband for our honeymoon. When I checked in the individual at the desk was very nice. When me and my husband returned that night from going to the casino the General Manager asked me what room was I in I told her the room number she proceeded to check the computer as if I did not have a reservation. She was mean and rude and came off racist. I will be reporting this hotel to the Dodge City KS, Chamber of Commerce. No one should be treated that way or feel as if just because I am African American that I cannot have reservation at this hotel. Like I was a criminal that how I felt something must be done with individual like her.

This has been the worst hotel stay I have ever encountered.. We arrived and check was good. When I decided to bring my 5 year old swimming I thought I was going to die of the condition of the pool area and the pool. The bottom was black the water was green and very cloudy and it was just darn right disgusting.. So tonight our second night here not by choice only because I paid for 2 nights I sent my son to the front desk for clean washcloths and towels the lady at the front desk states that she doesn't have any clean because the hotel is full. WOW! You have 10 cars In your parking lot. besides shouldn't hotels have like double the rooms to rotate!! I want some kind of refund this is unacceptable!! This hotel is the one on Martin Luther King Dr in Lake Charles,La... I will also be emailing and calling corporate till i sperm with someone and I'm not giving up!!

we called from the road looking for a room as we were traveling from Fl to Ma. My mom had passed away & we need to get home. We called AAA & was able to get a local # to book a room. We stayed at the Petersburg Va. location . It was a pet friendly hotel . Our first experience with a pet freindly hotel.we have a 7.5 Yorkie. We checked in the lobby looked nice . we were given the room key & what i noticed right away the door was ajar. When entering the room we saw the window wide open & the drapes blowing in the breeze. As well as the smell of pee & dog! I said to my husband this is bad. He said this must be what you get in a pet friendly hotel.!! I took off my flip flops & stepped in WET SPOTS ALL OVER carpet. Hence my flip flops stayed on & Nothing was put on the carpet except the dog crate on one of your towels!! When we checked out in morning I told the desk clerk all of this. He wrote it down. For what I don't know because no one has contacted me . He did say the reason the window was open was possibly they had steamed cleaned the carpet !! we stayed at another pet friendly hotel on way back to Fl the room was cheaper, cleaner & did not smell. I was contacted by someone to rate my stay from La Quinta & I responded to her with all of this !! She has never contacte me!! Wonder why . I do now know to stay in a pet friendly hotel it does not have to smell & have pee spots on carpet VERY UNHAPPY

I have worked for the tourism industry for 36 years and have dealt with hotels/motels for the same period. Never in my life have I experienced a worse situation than the one I felt at La Quinta Inn Jacksonville Baymeadows on the night of June 4/5 2012. I checked in at around midnight and checked out at 5:30 AM. The reasons: 1) Bugs creeping up the wall by the headboard 2) A couple of dead cuckroaches on the bathroom floor 3) After I took a shower at 5:00 AM as we had decided to leave that disgusting place, I realized they had no towels! I called the Front Desk and was told there was no one to bring me towels and that i should go get them! 4) Upon my return home I sent a complaint by email. I received an automated routine answer stating "Your case has been reviewed and addressed" 5) I waited for a resolution. Nothing. So I sent another email to which I got another routine reply: "Your comments have been directed to the appropriate department/property for resolution". Still waiting. 6) Another email by me got the same automated answer as the first one. 7) 3 additional emails got the same answers. 8) I wrote a letter to their president, Mr. Goldberg. I did not get the courtesy of a reply. 9)I re-sent the entire file to their president, this time Certified, Return Receipt Requested. He got it because I received the Return Receipt card duly signed by someone by the name of Welch. However, still no reply, after plenty of waiting time. 10) My first email was sent on June 20. My last letter on August 8. All this for a mere refund request of $55.94 It is obvious that La Quinta does not believe in customer service and have no reservations in representing a property way below any normal expectations, actually horrible. I have canceled my Visa credit card with La Quinta and have advised Chase to reconsider their association with them. I personally will make sure to advise everyone I know never to use La Quinta.

I had a posture pedic pillow that was taken by the the house keeper. I know this cause another house keeper seen her with my pillow. I told the front desk manager Paula, she told me it was not her problem. She told me it was the head house keepers problem. So for a couple of days I'm given the run around. I don't appreciate my personal property being taken. This is a 200$ pillow. I am very upset please contact me at 9546291864 thank you for your time. ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH- I WOULD GIVE THIS HOTEL LESS THAN A ZERO. MY FAMILY AND I STAYED AT THE LA QUINTA HOTEL IN WEST LONGBRANCH. UPON ARRIVING AT THE CHECK IN, WE WENT TO OUR FIRST ROOM. IT SMELLED LIKE MOLD AND URINE. THE DESK CLERK GAVE US A SECOND ROOM THAT ALSO SMELLED LIKE MOLD. THE THIRD ROOM GIVEN TO US AFTER ALL OUR TROUBLES ALSO HAD A MUSKY AND MOLDY SMELL. WITH NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER, WE COULD DO NOTHING BUT STAY BECAUSE WE HAD TRAVELED 2.5 HOURS WITH OUR PETS, AND NO OTHER HOTELS ALLOW FOR ANIMALS IN THE AREA. WE SAW MOLD ON ALL OF THE AIR CONDITIONING UNITS AND MOLD ON THE LAMPSHADE IN ONE OF THE FIRST ROOMS. NO DEHUMIDIFIERS- THE HOTEL PROVIDED US WITH NONE. MY FAMILY AND I HAD A TERRIBLE NIGHT'S SLEEP, HAVING TROUBLE BREATHING, ETC. REST ASSURED, I WILL NEVER EVER STAY AT ANOTHER LA QUINTA HOTEL AND WILL BE WRITING A LETTER TO CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS.

My name is tommy, I called 423-265-3151 La Quinta Inn, Chattanooga and spoke with aman named Brant about the possibility of checking in a room. He said yes so I gave him my name and he said come on. The address was 100 west 21 street, Chattanooga. So when I arrived,I went in and ask him was he Brant, he said yes and told him I was tommy so I flip him my credit card and he picked it up and threw it across the floor. He then went over and picked it up and swiped it and said there was no room available. I asked him why he told me to come here? He said that he had a room but sold it or had one but it was dirty. As I noticed he appeared to me to be impaired on something because of his demeanor. As i was walkin out I was very upset. I then said to him that I was goin to call Corp. He then followed me out the door with a Mexican security guard like they goin to attack me. To put it all in a nutshell, he took 99.00 off my credit card and said I wasn't gettin it back. He then gave me 3 different Reservation Cancellations in three different peoples names. I never stayed there and I'm out 99.00, the way I see it he took my card and paid for a room in John Williams name. The CRS cancellation # proves that. All I know is I'm out 99.00 and I want it back. He was hateful, mean and ugly along with his security guard.
